5641  Other / Politics & Society / Re: So Venezuela is imploding on: October 28, 2016, 03:54:03 AM
You can't compare Venezuela and USA simply because they are not in the same political category. Venezuela might get into deep trouble because of the debt but not the USA. And in fact I don't think that USA will ever pay their debt back.
But there is possibility for the whole world to fall into deep global financial crysis. It wouldn't be the first time.
5642  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I convert my savings into Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2016, 09:21:30 PM
Having savings in Bitcoins could be very profitable in long term period. So you buy Bitcoins and forget about them. But since it's not good to put all your eggs into one basket I would also suggest not to transfer all your fiat savings to Bitcoin. Leave something just in case. And for those you don't transfer to Bitcoin investment in sharers could be asholution.
5643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to buy Bitcoin ? on: October 27, 2016, 07:35:45 PM
Depends on the possibilities you have in your area. Localbitcoins is one of them I could recommend, especialy if there are sellers from your near community. If you want something very practical you can use your credit card or ATM if there is any available in your town.
5644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This School Accepts Bitcoin ! on: October 27, 2016, 07:17:25 PM
Great news. I thought that schools and other educational facilities would be the last to accept the Bitcoin. So, this is good message to other puble institutions. And it's good for Bitcoin reputation because some people are linking it only to gamr and dark markets. And this is something for the public good.
5645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people use/hold bitcoin in 2016 on: October 27, 2016, 06:15:21 PM
Around 8 millions is my estimation. But yet this is just the guess. There is no relevant mechanism or survey that could get us the correct data about number of Bitcoin users. I caz see how this could be possible. Also I think that this number may vary from time to time because some new users are coming but also some are leaving the community.
5646  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: October 27, 2016, 05:02:15 PM
Who knows what will happen with BTC price in next five years, it's distant future when virtual currencies are in question. And it also depends on country you live in. If the inflation is high you can have milions very easy.
Just by guessing I think that sum of 500-1000 Bitcoins could be enough.
5647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New Ethereum cloud mining on: October 27, 2016, 04:48:04 PM
There are many scam attempts through cloud mining websites so you have to be very careful. If something looks wrong or suspicious you better give up from it. Try to find out as much details as you can and find some references.
If they don't have anything to hide there is no reason not to reveal all informations about their business.
5648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Just Stopped? on: October 27, 2016, 03:50:29 PM
Something cataclismic should happen that would stop all the mining. And if few of them stops some other would replace them, so in fact no harm will be done.
But the most big farms are in China and they will not allow that something like this just happens.
5649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many fees should i pay for 0.2 btc transaction? on: October 27, 2016, 03:39:53 PM
I always use the recommended fees to to feel the most secure that coins will reach their destination. But despite that it might happen that coins remain blocked somwhere. But I also have to notice that blockchain wallet fees are prety high now.
5650  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you invest a substantial amount of Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2016, 11:21:27 AM
If I had substanial amount of Bitcoin to invest, first of al I would invest in some profitable small business in my local community. Then, a part of funds I would invest in shares on str exchange and something also in altcoins. Some coins I would hold as a saving.
But if this amount would be realy big then I would probably consult some financial expert.
5651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: October 27, 2016, 03:51:05 AM
Exactly, mining will be eventualy stopped when the final quantity of Bitcoins will be reached. But by that time the number of Bitcoin users will be very much increased so the demand for the coins will be huge. That will also affect the price which will also be significantly increased.
So, no, Bitcoin is not destroyed.
5652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: problems with bitcoin holder on: October 26, 2016, 06:50:33 PM
I can't see how holding Bitcoins could be some major problem or influence the price. I mean it is better for coins to circulate but holding is like saving and besides the holders probably also put in traffic their coins from time to time. And on long term the holders will make profit, that is for sure.
5653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: October 26, 2016, 06:37:27 PM
When the Bitcoin price is high I prefere Bitcoin. Thus I can save a lot of money. And it's more convenient then to carry cash around with you. I don't feel comfortable with that. Having some cash is more like a back up. But in the future we will use less and less cash, that is for sure.
5654  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin, Gold and USD on: October 26, 2016, 06:10:28 PM
I might have some doubts between Bitcoin anr gold but I wouldn't take dollar. At the moment it's the least profitable investment. The price of gold is more or less stable now but this would always be atractive and prosperous investment and Bitcoin is especialy good investment on a long term.
5655  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I will pay BTC if user signs up on affiliate link on: October 26, 2016, 05:57:49 PM
Is this stil available? Does anyone knows how much is the payment rate? Or is it just not worth bothering? I just hope this is not affiliate link to some suspicious or illegal web site, that isn't allowed. I supose that you can earn some decent sum if it's profitable for you if you to pay others to sing on referal link.
5656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Used a Bitcoin ATM in a gas station today on: October 26, 2016, 01:15:55 PM
Yes, I saw it in one caffe in my country. It is not very busy because people stil don't have that habit to use Bitcoin ATMs. But it's nice to know they are around if you need them. Personaly haven't tried it yet because it's not on my way so it's not very convenient. Generala Bitcoin ATMs should be more advertised so that people hear of them.
5657  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: October 26, 2016, 11:14:14 AM
So far I didn't have any problems or technical issues with the page. The problem is that no one here on forum doesn't actualy take this account estimation seriously or valid. So this could be just a general guidline but you can't actualy use this estimation in any concrete case and it doesn't help you.
5658  Economy / Exchanges / Re: You can now buy Bitcoins directly with NETELLER (biggest e-Wallet worldwide) on: October 26, 2016, 10:46:50 AM
Good news, things are moving. That will als attract potential new users. For now only from Europe but this will probably change in the future. Because of competition other similar services like Skrill or PayPal could also be force to make the same decision. Just wait and see.
5659  Other / Off-topic / Re: For how many people you introduced the Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2016, 09:31:43 AM
I don't know exact number but some members of my family, friends and some co-workers. Some of them got realy interested and started to use it, some of them are afraid that they might have some problems if they will use it, since in my country Bitcoin is not regulated. But I think if even one person starts to use Bitcoin after it's introduced with it, that is good.
5660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After cold war is it bitcoin war? on: October 26, 2016, 08:15:27 AM
Unfortunately this is not the first attempt to use Bitcoin as  "weapon" or mean for conflict. Hackers are doing this all the time. But it's bad for the reputation. Sometimes people don't think but just using all they have for often very selfish purposes but under mask of the higher goal.
