5642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: November 15, 2016, 04:01:16 AM
An addicted gambler should be very submissive for a chance, let you family help you and so as your friends for a faster result, if you will doubt their help you will remain addicted and we know the outcome to that if cannot be cured at an early stage, it my result to bankruptcy which is the worst thing that might happen to you.
That's true, as they say if there's a smoke there's a fire. So for me, if we don't know how gambling works or we don’t have any reason to gamble then I guess we will never get addicted in gambling. Because once we get it started it will really make us get addicted because gambling really easy to hooked up.
I guess it's easy to learn gambling but there are people really that even though they know that is made of they still gamble based on their wants. The basic definition of gambling IMO is an entertainment, which means we have to spend to have fun but if you do the opposite that's when the problem would start and now your think of quitting because you are losing so bad.
5643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: November 15, 2016, 03:56:09 AM
First you should know the strategies of trading. Then you should begin trading by investing small amounts to gain experience. When you gain experience and confidence, then you can start trading with bigger amounts.
But learning strategies might take long time and many people do not prefer to wait for testing their skill in trading.
the basic logic about trading, Sell in low and buy in high. It mightn't have taken a long time for did it. the keys are in the basic.
I think everyone must have understood about this. and how long? It's short in my mind.

I totally agree that most of the traders are not trading patiently they just want immediate profit and if they see small loss they just close the trade. Then they shout trading is waste

yes and we should control ourself to not get panic when we see the price is down and wait for a moment before we make cutloss or maybe we need to make second order buy to cover the price. beside that, only you that can decide when you want to become a trader and you should understand about the all thing that might be happen in future while you are trading.
I would say if you do panic easy, you are not an experience trader yet. You need more practice, newbie hate panics but professional traders loves it because they will be able to buy cheap price of bitcoin or any assets they are trading.
5644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: November 15, 2016, 03:47:42 AM
Clearly gambling isn't for kids. It really shouldn't even be a question. The earlier kids are exposed to gambling the more prone they are to having a gambling addiction when they grow up.

Clearly never let your kids gamble!!! Giving them lottery tickets for Christmas isn't a fun game. It's gambling.

http://gamesense.bclc.com/your-gamesense/kids-and-gambling/facts-about-kids-and-gambling.html
Too bad some parents allow their kids to gamble, which I do not think it's not cool in the first. I would never encourage my kids to gamble because I know how bad it is for a kids who does not have enough capacity to understand and comprehend what gambling is really made of.
5645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: November 15, 2016, 03:31:31 AM
yes i also don't like gambling, but i have little gambling habit and some time i try to bet on soccer or cricket, but i don't like casinos or poker sites.

Well, that means you consider gambling not a sickness, I can see that you are into sports betting and I think you are a sports aficionado. But anyway, I am sure that gambling is not a sickness since a gambler could get away from it without a pain. Most gamblers know that, only that they are not yet ready to get out.
Whatever type of gambling you are in but you will not behave the way you should be behaving then probably you will end up blaming gambling for your mistakes. The mere fact that gambling is very entertaining and that's what we are looking for, we will easily be affected and our emotion will let us play what we got which is supposedly not to be done.
5646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 15, 2016, 03:18:58 AM
My bet for tonight:

Indiana vs Orlando              OVER 199,5 at quote@1.45
L.A. Clippers vs Brooklyn     OVER 204,5 at quote@1.30
Utah vs Memphis            WIN Utah         at quote@1.40
NY Knicks vs Dallas         WIN NY Knikcs at quote@1.55
Detroit vs Oklahoma City WIN Oklahoma at quote@1.80
New Orleans vs Boston    WIN Boston      at quote@1.50
San Antonio  vs Miami   WIN San Antonio at quoet@1.10
Houston vs Philadelphia  WIN Houston      at quote@1.10

Parlay at quote@13.4

Almost all of your bets are on favorites, I hope you will hit them tonight my friend. The only play I am quit skeptical is the Detroit vs Oklahoma, my bet there is Detroit because the Thunder has not been playing with great defense lately and now come to the home court of the Pistons which this team is also hungry for a win.

Maybe the sudden change of line made you decide to select your bet, but I would not follow it, I'll take the home dog here.

you are right, they are going to lose, and lose well

I expect an easy win for the Clippers, so I think the half time handicap may be worth the money, because moneyline isnt
You cannot underestimate the Brooklyn Nets as well, they have been playing solid offense in the past games and they have won games and covered most of the time. I believe the new coach of brooklyn made it possible for them to compete even with the strongest team in the league. Brooklyn is undervalued in this game IMO.
5647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: November 15, 2016, 02:03:59 AM
For me, the right thing to do is to invest. Gambling brings exposure to high risks, and unless you do it for fun, it would not be advisable.
Absolutely the best solution is to invest, you have to do that if you are aiming for profit. The question is just something like "would you like to have fun or to make money?"..

Invest to make money and gamble to have fun, simple as that.
5648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: November 14, 2016, 03:54:50 AM
skill without any luck will be very difficult to win, and good luck with no skill, you're better off gambling. Well, in trading, it takes two things to be able to get profit. skill and luck are two important things you must pay attention and you keep, so that you can make a lot of money and not lose in trading
We are not talking of gambling here, it's a trading discussing section so we it does not have any relevance. Gambling is more risky compared to trading because your skills in gambling might not work in the long run but if you have skills in trading it will give you success of making money here.
5649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 14, 2016, 03:49:01 AM
Gambling is wrong, the people that are doing it over and over and are getting greedy and just do it for the money are very wrong, the game itself cannot be blamed in my eyes.
Under the situation is should be a gambler that is wrong, you cannot be wrong when you do gamble for a reason and if you do it responsibly. It's normal when people are coming back in gambling since it's fun to gamble and everyone deserves to be happy in their preferred way. So if anyone is in gambling, it's already presume that he takes the risk.
5650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 14, 2016, 03:13:38 AM
people who are addicted sometimes they are difficult to awaken oneself from addiction. so they need help from the most important people in their lives or their loved ones. all the ways that you mention it will be useless, because this is a matter about yourself. if you really do have a strong determination to quit. in any way could be good for you.
I agree that determination is needed of a person who wants to stop gambling. The willingness to avoid will help him to prevent addiction. For me, controlling yourself is the main key to do and not to do. You can have the advices of others, but still you have your own mind to decide.
He needs to realize his past mistakes and make the good future as his inspiration so he could quit in gambling. It's not an easy job but it's possible, we enter in gambling and we do not do it well so we need to go out of our own.
5651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: November 14, 2016, 03:08:43 AM
keeps me coming back from gambling I guess when I want to revenge and I want to get back what I lose. And I also want the excitement in this kind of game, but I know when to stop in the gambling form betting because I don't really want to lose a lot of money because of this.  Grin

Maybe a lot of people are always doing the same thing you did because of the same reason you always want recover all your loss which is supposedly hard to make possible . And because of that , there are instamces that you are losing more and more money meaning to say the amount of your money loss in gambling is definitely increasing which makes it more impossible to retrieve .
That is a good point, in my opinion this demonstrates the importance of accepting some losses, those more difficult to recover, and moving forward...
that's true , people mostly so hard to moving on. losing after losing they can't accept it , the result would be chasing all the previous losing money and turn wild in betting , in most case those people who do this continuously become poor / banckrupt due have no control .
It's the recipe for disaster, you will not lose much if you won't chase bets and you have a control in gambling if you will not be affected easily when you are down big. Controlling our emotion in gambling is necessary so if we do not have the capacity to do that we better not gambling at all.

What is needed in gambling is discipline and only those who have discipline will last and enjoy and they will come back for good not for revenge.
5652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: November 14, 2016, 02:10:04 AM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?
Of course experience matters because through this you learn from your past mistakes and wrong ways of playing. At start you think gambling as easiest way or think you are the luckiest guy who will always win. It is experience that clear your mind from many imaginary thoughts and put to realize what gambling is in fact.
yes i am agree with you. to me experience really matter in gambling as we can learn from previous mistake so if we are making mistake so in future we look at our previous mistake and then try to avoid these mistake for next time.
Well, like they said ''experience is the best teacher''.
I do agree that exp is one thing that matter on gambling, more often we play, the better we are at it.
Some kinds of gambling such as poker, blackjack and others card game required knowledge and exp to win for sure.
Gambling on the other game like dice or roulette not really need exp, but I won't say it doesn't matter as we know there are some players could do it many times and get higher chance to win by learning the pattern of game and set some strategies, so watch and learn.
Type of gambling games do matters a lot, if you play a game with a house edge you will never be good even playing longer. The nature there is different, the long you play the more chances of losing you will experience. One should be wise enough to choose the game he thinks it will give him the best chance to win and that experience will play a vital rule in choosing such games.
5653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The House always wins. on: November 14, 2016, 02:05:19 AM
You made 0.046 before you lost. If you had just done a 50/50 you would have had a better chance and you would have won 0.056. Because you lost you may as well had done a 50/50 then at least you have half a chance and you save 12 hours .....

AFAIK dice games never be on 50/50 because there is still.house edge which mean you will not have 50% chance on 2x odds, moreover OP play on that freebitco.in, what I do know that their site have higher odds so that means you eill have higher chance to lose rather than winning there
Gambling maybe give you 50/50 chance to win but in Dice, hmm I don't think it goes that way.
Every sites have their own script and like OP said, if they decide to screw you it's game over.
No one could always win, moreover in the long run against the house, it had been created like that.
It was never a 50/50 chance of winning as the house edge is the difference, most gamblers think that dice gives them equal chances but they failed to check on their long term chances. They will only feel it when they experience gambling and I have not known any person who are successful in dice gambling for the long run.
5654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: November 14, 2016, 02:02:04 AM
we know that most of the times we lost on gambling, but instead of stopping we keep on playing for the next day

after we lost, we got frustrated but we still back to play, is this called "gamble addiction"?

Nope for me it is not addictive to gamble yet. It is normal for people especially those who have big bankroll that if they lose  they will bet again trying to recover all the losses. You can say someone is addicted if the people is borrowing money just to be able to gamble again and if people makes gambling the most important thing in the world. Then they really are addicted.
I hope we will not experience that kind of craziness that we will have to borrow money just to fund our gambling addiction. The basic principle of gambling is only gamble what you can afford to lose and since you borrow money it would simply mean that you cannot afford what you just gamble.

It's not an entertainment anymore but a competition in your part and you are trying to beat the unbeatable gambling house.

So happy I found this site, I love the live bets of NBA. It offers a lot of odds that we can choose from. I guess I will be hooked in this gambling site and will leave my current site for good. I am taking Lakers +11.5 now @1.92 odds, seems a very good odds for me. BOL everyone!
5656  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 13, 2016, 01:59:59 AM
I depend on what you are doing with bitcoin. If you're investing in it, then yes. Because you need to maximize the price of bitcoin to get a profit in investing in it. However, if you are just exchanging bitcoins and buying stuff after, then you don't need to mind the price.
Exchanging your bitcoin for products or services is a way to trade your bitcoin and in any trade the price is important, when I want to buy something with bitcoin I wait until I see a price rise that way I get more bang for my bitcoin.

Yeah price is an major concern in bitcoins as our actions will depend only on the price of bitcoins, as everyone follows the simple rule buy low and sell high, as no one will prefer to sell their coins at  lower price then they bought, so I think price of bitcoin really matters each and every bitcoiner.
I understand we are not all traders or investors here, so the demand is not solely base on us. It's base on the entire need of the market, the people in the gambling industry are one of the demand creators, people coming in to gamble with bitcoin and they are increasing as they see bitcoin is very easy to use and no limitations at all.
5657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: November 13, 2016, 01:54:31 AM
I think that higher bets to become rich, only makes sense if you make only 1 bet (an not with all your money). If you keep playing with big bets the most provably its that you run out of money very fast.

Do you think people who got this intention of becoming rich by gambling ways will stop after losing that first big bet? I don't think so because after that big loss they will surely try for at least to recover back thier lose and end up losing more and more money. As per me, if you go with bigger bets then you will become poor very fast than becoming rich.
Putting big bets means you are already rich because in the first play you need to gamble what you can afford to lose. It's the basic principle of gamble a gambler should understand, and he can bet big that simply mean he is a professional gambling willing to put a bankroll for his desire to win bigger amount.
5658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: November 13, 2016, 01:47:52 AM
If I were rich, I'm not going to gamble. The money we have should not be used arbitrarily,
but we'll use for the versatile or the other better. Too many gamblig will wreck your life.
but to me if i was rich i will still play gambling as i am addicted of gambling and i think it is one of the most difficult job to stop gambling when one become addict of it, it do not matter that either you are a rich or poor person.

As long as you think it is a difficult thing to come out, then it is difficult, or you never made up your mind to come out from gambling. Because if you decided not to gamble then, you could find many good ways to spend your free time and can stop your gambling easily like spending more time with family, friends and in outdoor activities. Only thing is you should decide first not to gamble then it is possible.
Gambling if been done as a past time and not really in an addicting ways i think even rich people still playing little by little if getting chance because even in their spare time they still have some luxury to enjoy the game.
Should be done as your past time since it's very risky to give a lot of time in gambling, there should be a balance living on your side and it's okay to enjoy sometimes but not to fall trap of the gambling rewards as you cannot get it when you do not have the talent or the skills. You should be born lucky to be able to win.
5659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 13, 2016, 01:43:11 AM
Toronto will win against New York Knicks but I'm looking for a satisfying odd. Right now Toronto -5.5 odd is 1.63, they should open Toronto -8.5 and make it 1.90 odd. That's when I play for that, not for this little odds.
Utah Jazz is going very well, they should beat Miami. San Antonio is favorite against Houston Rockets.
The way the game goes, I see the value is on the Knicks and I take them live at Moneyline.. I believe they are more hungry of a win now and trying to prove they are a legitimate team.

Very exciting game for tonight. I also like the bulls and the Wizards game, but the live is not good for the bulls as they are 10 points favorites.
