5641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you Bother of the latest Cryptocurrency price drop? on: August 16, 2019, 10:32:02 PM
The latest CryptoMarketCapitalization drop was surprised us all and most of the altcoins price was also drop deeper, if these trend will continue im afraid that the anticipated Bullrun wont happen in 2019. My million dollar question is whats the cause of these huge drop again in cryptocurrency prices? can these bring any harm to the crypto-market momentum.
In all honesty, the drop isn't really surprising anymore. I think we are all used to think for the past years that the market has been acting like that, it's basically a normal thing already for the crypto market.

You don't have to anticipate a bull run, we've just ran far from the bottom since December 2018 up to the current price that we have right now. Aren't we grateful to see such gains?
5642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Whales Are Affecting The Cryptocurrency Market on: August 15, 2019, 11:47:09 PM
The people who buy a large number of tokens/coins are also called whales here in crypto. They can affect the price to go up because the marketcap was increase by whales buying and that what's the traders waiting for.
They affect the price to go up if they will make a huge buy orders and once it's filled, the market will react. Before many doesn't like the moves of these whales because they're all just taking profit from the market.

But in the latter, we have understood that everywhere there are whales and even in the stocks. It's not just the whales that are really affecting the market though one move they do and they will influence everyone who's watching the charts closely.
5643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Bounces Back to $10K on Fresh Bullish Sentiment on: August 15, 2019, 11:01:33 PM
Is there any analyst in the crypto world that we can take seriously? it seems to me that everyone makes analyzes that are a joke
Maybe few of them are giving reliable predictions but taking them seriously depends on how you trust them. Most of these analysts has given those predictions and failed just like Mike Novogratz prediction last year.

And that made the belief and confidence with everything they say to be doubted by their listeners. Those high predictions, it's up to you if you'll take the hope with them but in the end, it's still us who'll rely on the market not with their predictions.
5644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Speculation on: August 15, 2019, 10:35:28 PM
Taking a look at current price action and market structure, the price of BTC is very likely to reach 9k in the short term. If psycological support doesn't hols around that range, it's very likely the outlook could change from a bullish to a bearish bias.
It just reached $9000 but it's rapidly recovering now. It's a probable bear trap and gave everyone a nice period of entry so whomever did reentry at that price, you can now take the shot and get your profit.

But if you want to hold for long term, you're also doing it correctly. I think we're now heading back to $11k. The price seems to be lovely again but most of the alts were left behind while bitcoin is recovering.
5645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHUSD on: August 15, 2019, 10:12:56 PM
Just keep on posting what you think about Ethereum/USD trade. You may not be a pro but as long as your points and basis are valid, you may give an interesting point with what you are delivering to us.

Bitcoin moved nicely this day but I've noticed that ETH haven't moved that much. If it's a bull trap on $230-$240, on what price you're start selling?
I definitely won't sell ETH at that price. Because the real price of ETH is being traded below its true value, due to the hotness of Bitcoin over the past few days, many investors have forgotten about ETH.
I'm DCA ETH from $ 215 - $ 209. I will sell it at $ 400 by 2020.

Ethereum can be offered for 400 dollars this year already. I believe that when Ethereum 2.0 is launched, the price of altcoin will be tripled at least. nevertheless, we have to wait for it for almost a year. Simply hold ETH, and trade other cryptocurrencies. ETH is good now more for Smart Contracts than for trading, and we cannot ignore this important moment.
But it's price is $188. I'm positive with Ethereum 2.0 but what's the progress and the update regarding that?

I'n holding it until the price skyrockets and I'm not confident to sell at any price because it seems to be not a good price of selling at this point. Otherwise, this is a wise time to picking up and buying more ethereum and also bitcoin.

Price tripling is possible but we don't know when.
5646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hi, members. on: August 14, 2019, 11:45:29 AM
Welcome to bitcointalk but that isn't a good way to start here.

If your purpose is to come here and know more about crypto, youre doing it correctly. But if you came here just for that website plugging, it is an inappropriate introduction.
5647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I buy token hydra ....airdrop IOP INTERNET OF PEOPLES on: August 14, 2019, 10:49:37 AM
Speculations is not the appropriate section for your post. Move to the marketplace altcoins because most of the token sales/trades happen there.

I wouldnt add an opinion about those coins, my concern is that your post is on the wrong section.
5648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: August 14, 2019, 07:15:12 AM
No need to debate which coin is the king of crypto. Out of all those years that passed, bitcoin has been performing well throughout the years. Bears or bulls, bitcoin remain to be the most picked crypto and this will never change as of now.

I made the right decision to stick my investments when I was still a newbie to bitcoin rather go along with the hype of alts. Although there were alts that provided massive returns to its investors but still I'm satisfied that I've stayed to bitcoin.
5649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing in crypto a good idea? on: August 13, 2019, 02:09:15 PM
Hello! I'm a newbie trader, and I want to know if investing in crypto is a good idea.
It's a good idea if you understand how volatile and what cryptocurrencies really are. But if you are thinking of this investment vehicle as something that can make you rich overnight, stop it.

Now it became very easy, for example, you can buy crypto with a bot or your credit card using such services as changelly or shapeshift. However, does easy means good?
Well it's a nice thing to have those exchanges and services like that to have ease transactions.

Should I buy crypto now or it's too late?
If you have understood it already, it's never late to buy.
5650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from Too good to be Real investments on: August 13, 2019, 12:14:02 PM
It is better to invest in bitcoin than HYIPs there is no legit HYIPs nowadays they are scam.. I agree to OP that stay away with these kind of investments.
Even before, those HYIPS were a total scam. They don't have any intention to help their investors and all they do is attract and have an exit when they've collected huge amount of money.

But nowadays, the good news is that many are aware of their scam tactic. And it's very easy to determine if the website that you're interested with is a sort of HYIP or any other scam investment scheme.
5651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What threats does Libra pose on Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2019, 09:22:54 AM
I'm interested with this kind of topic but just a disclaimer, this doesn't mean that I'm also interested with Libra coin. This coin poses a threat to the government and that's why as early as today, they are questioning its potential and use.

But Libra as a threat to bitcoin? I don't see the possibility that this coin is ever going to be a potential threat to bitcoin. How can be this centralized stable coin can be a treat to a decentralized coin and highlight of the market?
5652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best wallet for crypto noobies? on: August 13, 2019, 07:48:23 AM
It's highly unlikely to find a wallet or an exchange that will have no fees when you trade. I suggest to don't rely on integrated exchange app wallets because fees there are actually high.

I guess you have a desktop/laptop to conduct your trades, you can do it there. And you haven't mentioned where you from, I guess from USA?

Since you have a bank account as you've said on your original post, find someone you know that will sell you bitcoin using bank payment. You pay him with your bank account and have a bitcoin wallet to receive those bitcoins. Then send it to an exchange that doesn't require verification then you can try trading on your own. Or another choice is to look for a remittance that sells bitcoin like in our country.
But he wants to do it fast and this strategy takes time.
5653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOCKCHAIN IN THE FUTURE on: August 13, 2019, 06:48:24 AM
What will blockchain look like in 2030?
No one knows but it's either there will be a new technology that will come up and it's going to be the upgrade of blockchain. Otherwise, blockchain shall remain as it is right now.

What will have failed?
Projects that are not serious with its adoption and use.

What will still be in existence?
Bitcoin would be and those private companies that finds big use for the tech.

What portion of govs will utilize the blockchain?
I think voting?

What things do you think will happen that might surprise us?
Most gov't starts giving privilege and talks about blockchain and bitcoin.

The international 2019 will be on August 15,i see you guys arent fan of it but i would love to see that they will cover it up.Im a dota 2 player anyway.  Wink
They'll most likely cover The International because I see they already have outrights and some special bets

For now there's no odds available because there's no scheduled matches available for the group stages they might announce it a day before the event starts.
Wow nice.

@btc_angela and juggy777

The said tournament is the biggest tourney held every year which is led by Valve, alone. You can search about Valve and see on who they are in the e-sports industry.
5655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 12, 2019, 07:48:15 PM
Same thing happened with Allen Iverson. He was still a good player that could contribute to a team but he was blackballed by teams because of his attitude.  I think teams are steering away from Carmelo for the same reasons.

That maybe true. The "Who? Me?!" answer when he was asked if he's going to start from the bench during an interview at OKC was really the start of his downfall for me. Skill wise, I think he still tops a lot of the guys in the league. Like I said before, he's close to Lebron's ability. If he is given the same freedom to play and get his rhythm, he can deliver.
Attitude>skills.

The new talents should learn from his experience, both from his career and his situation now. I know that many teams wants to take him but after seeing that attitude he had showed, it turned them off.

No doubt that his skills is incomparable but nothing beats attitude. Skills can be learned and practiced but attitude will bring you to the top.

5657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from Too good to be Real investments on: August 12, 2019, 01:56:28 PM
These are the typical scam in the crypto scheme although it's known for those people who have been in the forum for a while.

  • High yield investment program
  • Cloud mining - many have been using this scheme to scam
  • Many ICO
  • And any investment scheme that guarantees profit without source of income
5658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Where to buy LTC or ZEC or ETC with FIAT without verification? on: August 12, 2019, 12:46:05 PM
Ok I see, probably not so best solution for small amounts. Want to exchange 100 USD/EUR every month and they take from it 10 USD/EUR so it's quite big.
Well that's normal for exchange to take that amount for the fees but if you think that it's quite high enough for that. You have an option to this through P2P on currency exchange but it might be difficult for you to find a taker.

If you find this option to be good, use escrow.
5659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are Creative you can earn good income on: August 12, 2019, 11:42:12 AM
You are looking for a direct service. To those who can create good memes and etc., how much you're going to pay them? is this going to be paid with bitcoin or with an altcoin of yours? if that's an altcoin, what's that?

And the second one that you are looking for, this applies for developers. Would you be more specific on what programming language that you are going to use? and same question with the payment scheme.
5660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The 5 Rules that would have saved me THOUSANDS. on: August 10, 2019, 09:39:06 PM
Many ICOs were actually good few years ago before the bull run, the all time high days. Those were the golden days but now, the situation has changed a lot and most of them are now scams.

Centralized coins are more prone to manipulation. So if you're holding most coins in that category, you better start thinking on how to lessen your portion with those kind of coins.
