So.. why don't you have a written backup of your recovery phrase? That's like the #1 rule of cryptocurrencies: always have backups.
Anyway, you can use certain software to recover deleted files (DYOR). You might be able to find a backup file on the app's folder.

If Bitcoin adoption(and price) continues to increase as time goes, this should be enough incentive for miners to continue mining. And knowing that it's estimated that year 2140 is the year where almost all bitcoin has been mined already, that's more than enough time for Bitcoin to have enough adoption. In the end, time will tell. And unfortunately we wouldn't be around in 2140 to see the results. All we can do is to have enough bitcoin for our children and grand children so they can reap the fruits of our labour. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

You simply sell the amount you're happy with. In the first place, selling slowly vs dumping all in one go is almost just a guessing game; unless probably when bitcoin just had a 20% candle then it'd probably be better to dump in one go. In the end though, only time will tell which one is the better decision. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

If the government all over different countries enforce an authoritarian rule, and ban bitcoin from use and heavily penalize those that use them despite the prohibition, I think we will be seeing bitcoin slowly fading out because the punishment is not worth the risk. The ideology for me is that bitcoin is freedom and that anyone should be free to decide how to spend and earn their money.
Adoption and price will likely drop a huge chunk(albeit temporarily), no doubt about that. But it ain't dying. Bitcoin won't cease to exist just like how piracy and drug use still hugely exist even when governments has already illegalized them since forever.

Is it real-time and on their free version?
Yes, and the app doesn't have a Premium version. Do I have to connect my wallet or can I just enter the numbers and it does the calculations?
You either add the transactions manually or you enter your exchange account's API code and it would automatically import the transactions automatically.

Sounds good but it could lead to some abuse, people reporting tons of posts just to get somebody banned, or at the same time some escaping this as they only get n-1 posts deleted every day. Maybe a little tweak to (deleted posts/total number of posts over x days) ? If they try to bypass this by screening with the percentages and posting more crap they will be banned by the mods for sure.
My idea was sort of like 10 posts that are made in the same day; as to potentially remove the chances of a user getting temporarily muted because 10 of his/her posts that were made a year ago got deleted. But yea, definitely lots of room for improvement.

It means people store their coins in the exchanges and that can be good or bad, depend on how competent the exchanges. My only concern is about embezzlement and the so-called hacks.
The data says otherwise. People in fact have been withdrawing their coins to their own wallets out of exchanges, which is a really good thing regardless of price effects. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FzoUrczI.png&t=663&c=QxjJCxuXhOSA0g) Chart courtesy of glassnode's Twitter post[1] since I'm only a free user.

I always recommend new traders to not trade with real money right away. There are a good number of trading/investing platforms that has a "virtual portfolio" feature whereas you can trade using fake money. With virtual portfolios, you can learn without actually putting your money at risk since you're new. My personal pick is eToro[1], but DYOR.

I don't have any data to show, but I don't think the BTC price rise hasn't been sort of "dramatic" enough to stir the mempool to crazy levels. The recent price rise was more of a slow and steady growth, which is definitely better since it's highly likely to be more sustainable rather than just big green candles that is a lot more likely to have huge pullbacks. Wait til we get 10% candles and with mainstream media reporting about bitcoin price rises, then expect fees to skyrocket.

2. ERC20 ang SLP

If Physically Backed ETF will be approved, will the current Bitcoin price volatility will gonna lessen? Sec will surely monitor and implement guideline to address issue before they start approving this ETF filing because they will ensure that this is safe for consumer investment. I'm not knowledgeable enough on how ETF so maybe there's a flaw on my opinion.
It will probably decrease volatility, but only to a certain extent (I'm guessing the difference wouldn't even be noticeable, as it's going to take a good amount of time to have a noticeable effect). Most of the time more market liquidity means less volatility, but let's not forget that Bitcoin(and cryptocurrencies in general) is still an asset class that will be heavily heavily influenced by news and such.

Newbies should try and develop the habit of asking questions or create a discussion about something not having information about. This will help every newbie to know better and to enjoy the forum because Bitcointalk forum is all about discussion.
You're going to need to be more specific though — not only questions, but good questions. There are certain questions that are great to have conversations about, and there are questions that shouldn't really be asked because it's easily answerable by doing a simple Google search.

Plus, you keep us mods busy; I've been getting fat because of the doughnuts I'm eating instead of handling reports.
You gotta prepare yourself for the next huge run up in price then; because you're going to starve. Jokes aside, wouldn't a temporary mute feature work nicely? e.g. if a certain user has like 10 of his/her posts deleted in a day, he/she is muted and unable to post for like 24 hours or so. Haven't thought of this deeply, but yea.

The FTX app(previously called Blockfolio) has this feature. The only difference is that the profit/loss number isn't displayed in the coins list; instead, you need to tap it and go to the Profit/Loss tab to see the details of your investment. https://blockfolio.com/

I think mods/admins just need to be a bit more strict when deleting off low-quality posts; and also those posts that are obviously just rehashed versions of earlier replies(for some reason I get annoyed a bit too much when this happens to my posts).
But yea, spammers suck, but you can still see some good conversations from time to time.

It's a lot less of "the market tricking you" and a lot more of just the trader/investor being really ignorant and/or inexperienced.
Also, the "not selling because you're greedy" could also easily work the other way. You could say that you're greedy because instead of waiting for the asset to appreciate more, you immediately closed the position because of greed.

Bitcoin will last as long as humanity will exist even with the interference of external forces. The government can ban and outlaw the crap out of Bitcoin but it will still survive. Bans and criminalization will only hinder it's growth to some extent, but definitely not kill it.

For me, the current fees for DeFi participation are expensive, and I hate risks. Perhaps it is a good choice to wait until the underlying technology is perfect and DeFi matures before participating.
High fees shouldn't necessarily mean that a project is bad; heck, even Bitcoin has really high fees sometimes(mostly in peak times of bull markets). Also taking note that cryptocurrency projects including Bitcoin will never be 100% finished, because there will always be things to improve.

May nabasa ako na sinabi ni Jihoz na yung change sa SLP reward sa DQ at arena mga 14 days daw baka mag reflect sa value, hindi ko lang sure kung baka nga magkatotoo.
Supposedly at minimum 14 days talaga. Since every 14 days ang claim ng SLP, papasok palang sa markets ung mga SLP ng mga tao na na-collect before ung SLP update. Pero of course, ung significant effects ay malamang sa malamang months pa bago maramdaman.

I somewhat agree to you. Bitcoin may not be decentralised as we know of it. But it still gives us idea about decentralization and there are lot of coins that might achieve full decentralization so atleast we are going in the right direction and bitcoin has shown as that direction
Lol you got it totally upside down. There are some cryptocurrencies that are more decentralized than others, but Bitcoin is still the most decentralized project by a HUGE margin.
