You say you contacted support a week ago? This is rather unusual, as some users here have claimed that Ledger has no problems with the support department and responds fairly quickly.
I created several fake support tickets testing out how quickly they take to respond and it only took a few hours each time.

However, it's essential that each field is properly filled out. Especially the "What is your problem?" field. If you don't, I am not even sure the message gets sent. It it was sent correctly, you should get an automated reply with a ticker number. if you didn't get one, the message wasn't sent.

Ledger will reimburse you for your shipping expanses if you purchased the device from them or an official reseller. That's the information I got from them. There is no reason not to send the faulty device back. If you open it manually, you void the warranty as dkbit98 suggested.

I wouldn't call it a multicurrency wallet since it only supports BTC, Monero, and Litecoin, but what is more interesting is that you have to create a separate wallet (seed) for each of these currencies to use them. For some reason, they seem to haven't ever heard of BIP44, where you can use a single seed to maintain access to keys for hundreds of different cryptocurrencies on different blockchains. Maybe I am just nitpicking and this design is perfectly justified if seen from a different angle.
If your dog eats the seed where you store your Monero, and your wife tears up the one that protects your Litecoin, your Bitcoin remains safe unless she finds out you are seeing someone else. But I agree with you that it's a weird way to do it. I expect a multi-currency wallet to be simple. If I have to store recovery phrases for each and every coin, I can just download individual wallets for each of my assets. Considering the issues Cake wallet had with the RNG for their 12-word seeds, it's better to use something else.

That means that they attempted to compile the publicly available code into a binary but the resulting app doesn't match the source code. The two binaries are different. They explain the process if you click on the "not reproducible" button. Or just look for the information here: https://walletscrutiny.com/methodology/#nonverifiable

BTW, I think only the mobile version of Electrum is non reproducible. That doesn't apply to the desktop client.

It would also allow them to let me use my money that way, like I have bitcoin, and I have a debit card, I could allow my debit card to use my bitcoin, whereas the person I am paying could get it in fiat, dollar, euro, whatever they prefer. This should be available in all nations and suddenly we will see crypto reaching to unheard levels.
Bitcoin takes that control away from traditional financial institutions, so that's why it wont work. Your bank ALLOWS YOU to use your money already. They act like they are doing you a favor, but they have all the control. Even though the money is yours. You don't need the bank to allow you to use Bitcoin. But they would love to be that central party that controls it and regulates how and where you send your funds to. They are doing it with fiat, but they are not so lucky with crypto.

I think you have made really amazing thread however would be great if we can work on the rating status? I mean let’s add another column at the end and have fair ratings in view of trust. This can be done by taking the votes on each casino. I think I might just make another thread or submit rating pattern here. It’s good to see peeps are submitting their views already on various casinos. It’s good.
Your post is kind of confusing and I honestly don't know what you are talking about. You are talking about ratings of casinos. This is not a thread about casinos, how trustworthy they are, or where and how you can gamble. It's a collection of threads I think are helpful and should be in one place for easy access.

I have never made the argument that it's something desirable. In fact, voiced my dissatisfaction with it multiple times.
So what if you did? Will the censoring stop now after you have shown your satisfaction or will the idea move forward?
 
It's like saying I am against racism of any kind but blacks and Asians will never work in my company. However, I still condemn racism in the workplace.
I am against gun violence, but I have just shot my neighbor for entering my property drunk. I have voiced my dissatisfaction against gun laws, but I will continue to use mine.

My goal is like that: My main investment 80% will to BTC and 20 % on alts. Hope that is normal .
There is no such thing as normal portfolio diversification. For some Bitcoiners, the only "normal" thing is to hold BTC and no altcoins because many of them will just lose value long-term. There are shitcoins and then there are some established alts. If you are going to hold shitcoin pump & dumps, an allocation of 20% is too big. Even 1% is too big for that matter. But that's just my opinion. You have to find out what works best for you.

Maybe the words are written down like this:
1, 2, 3, 4,
5, 6, 7, 8,
9, 10, 11, 12

but you are recovering according to

1, 4, 7
2, 5, 8
3, 6, 9... etc.

Have you now recovered your coins in a hot wallet, what did you use? You mentioned MetaMask in previous posts. MM will allow you to regain control of your ETH and the associated ETH-based tokens, but you still need something for your Bitcoin. You have now minimized the security of your seed since it's been inserted in hot wallets. As soon as you fix your Ledger or purchase a different HW, you should definitely generate a new seed and move your coins from the one that was imported online.

Not recommended at all. What good does it do that El Salvador uses Bitcoin as legal tender when it was and remains one of the most dangerous places to live in? You can have your arm chopped off on the street because some thugs want your golden bracelet, but at least you can buy groceries with BTC. Grin 

Gang-related violence, homicide, extortions, kidnaps are all part of daily life in El Salvador. It's one of the places with the highest murder rates in the world, if not the highest.

As long as you stocked up your fridge by spending your Bitcoins and you have less Bitcoin than before the food purchase, sure. Even if you use a crypto card or buy gift cards, you still acquired those with Bitcoin. What happens to those coins after that, is not your concern. Merchants now have the possibility to convert the crypto you give them into fiat almost instantly and that's a great thing that makes things much easier. But that doesn't change the fact that YOU paid with crypto. The fate of those coins is not important. Sure, it's not the same as doing a proper exchange where I send you X amount of BTC to your address and you provide me with the goods and services I need. But it's a great bridge that connects the two worlds. Even if the other party doesn't want crypto, you can still pay them in crypto.

That segment about taxes means that they are not the party responsible for reporting and paying taxes. The clients and users of their services are.

Those terms and conditions also state that Coins.ph can cancel, reverse, or refuse to do business with an individual if ordered so by the court or government agency. If they listen to the state in terms of who to do business with (and it's completely normal they will because no one is above the law), they will also cooperate if the government asks them about crypto users.

Their Privacy Policy says the following thing:

They also say that they can keep your private information for up to 5 years after you close your account.

For those who like to browse the forum by looking at the recent unread posts, sure, this can help. But in all my years on Bitcointalk, I don't think I have ever clicked on the button to display unread posts. At least not intentionally. I use the Watchlist feature and check for replies in my own threads and those in topics I have posted in earlier. Aside from that, I browse the forum from the top and access those subs that suit me the most at that moment.

There are ways to minimize or get rid of those risks you are taking about.

i. Crypto pump and dump;
Don't participate is such activities. They aren't meant to make you rich. Random people on the internet don't spend their time thinking what they can do to make your financial situation better. They want to better their own! Pump & dump schemes are created to allow the organizers to sell a coin they have previously acquired. They make the money, you are left holding a worthless asset. 

ii. Fake investment scams;
Don't give money to trading experts, crypto gurus, social media influencers, or websites for investments. Start with the basics. Buy Bitcoin and be happy with the returns long-term.

iii. Emergency of new coins;
People believe it's too late to invest in Bitcoin. The ship has sailed. What they need to do know is find the next Bitcoin before it's too late. That will never happen. Bitcoin wasn't developed to make its original creator rich, but this is the exact reason why all other altcoins exist. Stop chasing fairytales and stick with sound money.

There are 3 major and sustainable ways to make money with cryptocurreny.
1. Investing
2. Crypto Trading
3. Crypto Mining.
I don't suggest trying your luck with trading if you haven't spent weeks and months researching the subject and learning as much as you can before. Otherwise, you will become just another person who has lost money in an unfamiliar market.

You don't need banks to be connected with Bitcoin and they aren't. When people think of Bitcoin and banks they are only talking about finding a way to convert their BTC into fiat and depositing that into their bank account. But that's not the complete picture and you don't have to do that. In the past, people traded sea shells, meat, crops, fur, salt and anything that was in demand and had a market. And the system worked. Bitcoin has reached a stage in which there is demand for it, so you don't need banks. You will be able to find plenty of people to give you cash for it (if that's what you want) face-to-face or via decentralized platforms.

This are not bugs for ledger S plus, it was intentionally made like this because they speed up development without completing the code, and they wanted to earn more money as soon as possible.
I am generally cautious with making claims that I can't back up and prove, so I can't say what someone does or doesn't do intentionally. I can only have an opinion. My opinion is that it shouldn't have happened and it's another dent in their reputation. They seem to be messing up on all fronts. Earning money is the goal of all businesses, and most companies will always favor profit than the interest of their users no matter what they say or claim in their PRs and statements. That doesn't mean I like it, it's just the way it is.

It doesn't really matter if old S device support most coins like model X when you can only install few coins, and when they stop manufacturing it...
It can still be purchased, but the bigger fear is not stopping its production, but ending the support for it.

Also, I am eager to see what the next gen of Trezor wallets will offer, I am afraid it will not be cheap at all, tho.
I doubt it will. A brand-new device with revolutionary secure element that is supposed to be fully open-source doesn't come cheap.

The game provider wouldn't make much delay to provide the evidence if the user really used some illegal method.
It depends if they know what they are looking for or if they want to fix it at all. The other provider that was mentioned in that thread was Felix Gaming. A vulnerability was found in their games. Initially, the game provider claimed there were no problems, but eventually admitted that things went wrong. It cannot be ruled out that something similar isn't happening here and that Wazdan knows about a serious flaw but can't or doesn't want to fix it.   

The accusation was created in the forum one month ago. LTC casino representative has made only 4 response in the accusation thread until now. He hasn't answered to a lot of question which was asked by some forum members. They haven't given any real update of this investigation. LTC casino can take 3 months to give the final answer, but they should have cooperate (making response) with the gambling community on regular basis to maintain their reputation. They are doing the opposite.
I totally agree, and there is a better way to handle this situation. Unfortunately, LTC casino isn't going down that road.

U ChipMixer kampanji se postovi u Hrvatskoj Off-topic sekciji broje 100%. Ne broje se oni u engleskom Off-topic podforumu. Pitao sam DS-a to davno nekad kad sam tek primljen i on mi je potvrdio da se ubrajaju svi postovi iz svih lokalnih foruma bez obzira gdje su pisani. Imam to negdje u PM-ovima i ako treba pronaću taj razgovor. Ukoliko kampanja dozvoljava pisanje u lokalu, najbolje je provjeriti sa menadžerom koja pravila važe za lokalni off-topic.

Evo još jednog upozorenja koje sam dobio.
Bez obzira koju metodu napadači koriste, pravila zaštite ostaju ista bez obzira da li je riječ o Discordu, Emailu ili nečemu trećem. Nikad klikati, otvarati, i pokretati bilo šta što vam neko pošalje privatno. Čak i ako je osoba koju poznajete vrijedi provjeriti i priupitati da li vam je ta osoba nešto slala preko te i te stranice. Nekad je i bolje biti paranoičan nego previše opušten i znatiželjan. Ta paranoja će te bar zaštititi da ne uradiš nešto pogrešno što nije slučaj ako zabadaš nos tamo gdje mu nije mjesto.

Ne koristim Discord pa nisam previše upoznat sa pojmovima kao što je "session token". Da li je ovo ekvivalentno privatnom ključu/seedu, u smislu da onaj ko ima pristup session tokenu ima i kontrolu nad nalogom ili je to nešto poput šifre koja se može promijeniti ili restartovati? Nešto mi govori da je ovo prvo...

I would be careful. I am not sure how reliable Coins.ph is as a service, but it seems that the majority in the Philippines are using it. Since you are paying bills with it, there is probably a requirement to undergo KYC. They store that data somewhere. If the local tax office decides to pressure Coins.ph to share with them the data of those who use crypto on their site, Coins.ph will have to comply. The government wants their share of the spoils and if the law is on their side, they will find a way to get it.

That's only the second crypto-related business that has confirmed that user data from their customers has been hacked. I think that it was initially reported by MailChimp that their investigation has discovered that data from over 100 different crypto companies has been illegally obtained by that fraudster/insider. Whoever has gotten access to the database isn't in a hurry and is taking his/her time to decide how to proceed.
