5661  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency users statistics on: September 06, 2019, 10:50:20 AM
Based on what stats these data were given?

I read a thread where Germany contains most bitcoin nodes followed by USA which shows that more crypto users are coming from that region but we thought that China is having more miners and controlling the bitcoin.

I hate samsung mobile to be honest but they are the one taking steps which helps the crypto community to grower.

But I didn't get what kind of adoption it will help?

Someone out there to help me?
5663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: September 05, 2019, 05:52:03 PM
Regulasi aren't a golden bullet against scammers. As all those things become more obvious to the general public, scammers evolve to mimic decent projects with almost impeccable efficiency. Still, the most reasonable rule of investment isn't about ICOs or IPOs, it's just about your common sense. I mean no matter what, never spend more money than you can afford to lose.
So you are justifying money to lose on the scam projects when its affordable for you to lose?

Scam projects can be avoided when we know what the project is actually about too but there is no perfect or assured way to tell a project is scammy or legit until it happened.

I bought decent amount worth of bitcoin when it hits $8500 to $9000 in 2018 but after that it went to $3000 nearly which is the place most of the people lost their faith and sold their bitcoin for extreme losses. But you know I didn't do that mistake and now in profits Smiley

You were not able to buy below $8,500 and above $3,120 between about late 2018 and about May 2019?

Or did you feel that you were already too much invested in BTC?
I bought in mid 2018 not sure about the exact month but I bought where there is a bump from 6K region to 9K so I though that this is the bull run so buy and holding will make more profits then only I realized that it was bull trap so now I need to wait longer to get reap.

Anyway I started doing trades with small amount from my holding and making small profits and increased my total btc holdings.

I see that you registered in this forum just before the December 2017 peak.  Did you buy BTC in 2017?

You may know my story, but I started buying in late 2013, which was the then peak, and I had a 6 month plan that caused me to continue to buy BTC on a weekly basis all the way down during the first half of 2014, and then I extended my buying plan for another 6 months which caused me to continue to buy for the remainder of 2014, all the way down.   I can relate to buying on the way down, and it has paid off quite well for me, but it took me until about early 2016 before I started to feel on the border of profitability and my profitability did not really become unambiguous until late 2016.

Anyhow, if you are in the accumulation stage then it does not necessarily hurt to continue to buy, but if you are already selling or trading then you likely have advanced past the early accumulation stage and are in a bit of a more advanced stage (still accumulation, possibly?)  Taking profits in dollars has so far not been my practice, even though I do sell small amounts of BTC as the BTC price goes up, but I consider that to be a kind of insurance rather than taking profits.  Also, I can understand and imagine that at a certain point in my BTC balancing experiences, there are likely going to be some needs to start to take some of my profits in dollars, even though I don't currently perceive myself to be in such stage - even while getting close to 6 years of BTC buying, accumulating and HODLing experiences.
I bought before the peak in 2017 but its not huge amount of bitcoins,I am talking about 2018 where only time the prices reaches $9000 range which I got trapped into.

I am not trading to sell my holdings,I am just using 10% of my total btc holding to day trade just to increase the btc holdings at the ned of the day because I knew that btc is not going to stay at $10K or 20K it will surpass 50K sooner.

Reporting 5 year post is useless I guess because its not going to help the forum, there are lot of spams were created everyday why not report them just instead of five year old.

Hacked account won't be locked by admins most of the time but the real owner can lock it from the link which was send to his email address when hacker changed the password after that following the recovery process will get back the account to the real owner.

I think its healthier to live under your own terms rather than those dictated to you by your boss and society.
That is what I am doing for almost last two years, before that I used to be working as an accountant even I did engineering course.

Just fuck this world and break all the barriers ahead of you.

Make your money working for you, don't run behind money boss. Cool
5670  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain fee and alternatives on: September 02, 2019, 03:52:00 AM
But if you really want the hot wallet like blockchain then I suggest you to go with coinbase which is error free when compared to blockchain which have lot of errors to often in my experience. But its not a safe wallet if you want to hold your bitcoins there.
Coinbase is an exchange, not an online wallet platform-- people have used them as a wallet for years now, but that's not what it is meant for. Based on that I would just recommend people to use an SPV client, much better and more control.

Also, Coinbase no longer allows you to freely use their platform like they used to do before they changed their terms-- verification is mandatory, so one more aspect that makes Coinbase a bad platform to use for that purpose.

The benefit of an SPV client such as Electrum is that you can use RBF, which comes really handy in case a large service processes a lot of withdrawals at once, which then causes the fees to spike up. One fee bump can save you hours of waiting. Smiley
I am talking about the coinbase android walllet which is designed for trading purpose but still good one for less storing purpose.I am using it for months for sending smaller transactions and holding nearly $1500 of bitcoin on it because their fee is not too high like blockchain priority fee but still it will be confirmed in 15-20 mins which still decent enough for me and my needs.

Fuck work.

If I ever get to get married one day, no way I am letting my kids to be slaves. Fuck that. If I am not going to get what I want, I'd rather die single and without kids.

Entering 8th year as a working man. I know how hard it is to make money by working legit. Fuck this shit.

Got angry Angry

We are actually living in that world where bad people get more richer and the one who working in the right way will be and die like how he used to be before due to this fucking banks and their loans.

But we not got something called bitcoin gave full control over our money. Cool
5672  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain fee and alternatives on: September 01, 2019, 05:57:51 PM
Hello,

iīm still "new" in this btc world and i was wondering what should i choose when i send from blockchain example for an amount of 200-600$
we have the option to choose the fee

and are there good alternatives like blockchain (wallet/trading site) with low feeīs where you donīt have to verify your account...
Like others said go with Electrum to have control over the fee.

But if you really want the hot wallet like blockchain then I suggest you to go with coinbase which is error free when compared to blockchain which have lot of errors to often in my experience. But its not a safe wallet if you want to hold your bitcoins there.
5673  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone faced this? on: September 01, 2019, 05:44:18 PM
You must write clear conditions before the deal, such as if the money was sent and the user is not connected, escrow will be released within 24 hours.
Acceptance by the user of these terms will force him to deal with you within a specified time limit or fast response from the localbitcoin team.
Mostly "if the user is new" after proving the payment, waiting about 72 hours and they will release your coins.
Hopefully the seller will come online soon. Sad

I have the terms like "you need to release bitcoin as soon as possible I marked the payment" I hope this will be taken into consideration but LBC support team.
5674  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone faced this? on: September 01, 2019, 03:31:01 PM
Lets imagine what if the seller never come online the trade will be in dispute or will be released to me.
If the seller does not come online then I think LBC will release the coins to you after certain amount of wait. If the seller has very good reputation (which he has) then he is not going to ruin his account for a trade (not sure about the amount you have traded).

I will also suggest you to wait until either LBC takes any step or the seller comes online again.
The amount is 0.061BTC which is pretty decent amount.

I read somewhere that trades where still under dispute for weeks but it was very old.

I hope they were changed their terms for these kind of situations.
5675  Economy / Exchanges / Anyone faced this? on: September 01, 2019, 02:36:59 PM
I am doing trades on localbitcoin too often, today I got an issue while buying bitcoin.

I send the fiat money to the seller's bank account but he is not online since opened the trade,he got more than 500 trades that is why I didn't got any doubt about him.

Now I disputed the trade but LBC says there will be an response in 48 hours.

Lets imagine what if the seller never come online the trade will be in dispute or will be released to me.
5676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: September 01, 2019, 11:19:40 AM
Philippines is a small economy and it depends on more neighboring countries for the development. This can be of infrastructure, and various other forms of development. China will not force without any perfect plan, and this time of Philippines didn't take necessary precautions China will surely make some strategies to eliminate.

From a common man's view Philippines won't consider this a big issue, because even if Philippines ban all form of gambling activities still there'll be gambling through bookies and other sources.
If someone violating the rules of their country then they will face legal actions so most of the activities will be stopped from gamblers side but like you said it will encourage more illegal form of gambling which can be never restricted by the government and also they will lose taxes by banning the gambling activities in their country.

Anyone here feels this Sunday is going to bring the price of bitcoin into over 10K again?

I feels yes, anyone got analysis for this weekend?

price is irrelevant
Current price movement of bitcoin is not that much important to the long term holders(like you) but it is something always connected with holding bitcoin.

If the price of bitcoin go back to few cents then no one will be holding that right now.

If the price of Bitcoin went back to a few cents, the members of this board would likely buy all of them....   We are the buyers of last resort.

If people buying the bitcoin when it reaches few cents means they feels that the price will increase in the future that is what I meant to say price is related to cryptos.

5680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: time to change BTC to ETH? on: August 31, 2019, 06:23:43 PM
The ether is now in an extremely low position. How good is the idea to buy it now?
Buying cryptocurrencies at the low price is good idea but ethereum looks not developing in terms of value for very long period while other coin especially Bitcoin doing good so converting your Bitcoin to buy low performing coin is really bad idea if you have y money to invest on the cryptocurrencies then buy ethereum now just keep your Bitcoin as it is.
