5661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology in universities on: May 30, 2020, 04:00:29 PM
I think it is really great if universities started a course about blockchain technology, because students should know about it. The usages of blockchain technology is increasing day by day. Besides cryptocurrency it is widely used to perform smart contracts without human intervention, to control blockchain domain names with a private key, to maintain supply chain logistics, to compile data for sustainable use and many more. I have heard about e-voting system. In 2000, the Arizona Democratic Party adopted a presidential primary using e-voting. Their voting was conducted according to an electronic voting system which was conducted using a blockchain system. Nowadays I have seen interest in blockchain technology among many students, I believe that one day blockchain technology will reign in every sector of the world.
5662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are afraid on investing to bitcoin? on: May 29, 2020, 04:08:51 PM
I think the main reason people are afraid to invest in bitcoin is that the price of bitcoin goes up and down randomly. Now a days the market is too much volatile that those who are very skilled or who have been investing bitcoin for a long time are not able to predict about the rise and fall of bitcoin prices. Those people who invest for a short time in bitcoin have to rely entirely on luck. so short-term investors are afraid of bitcoin. but I don't think that those who invest in bitcoin for a long time have any reason to be afraid. because the demand of BTC is increasing day by day and there is high possibility to make new ATH at the end of 2020.

India lost that match intentionally to keep Pakistan out and play against the Kiwis in the semi-finals.

Afridi VS Gambhir.
One has political ambitions and the other is already into politics. They need some issue to always remain in the limelight. The best issue is to talk about India and Pakistan.

Kapil-Gavaskar VS Akhtar.
When the world is in crisis, Akhtar comes out with a solution let's play cricket  Cheesy  what else do you need only Cricket can resolve this humanity crisis..LOL

Gayle VS Sarwan
Gayle has nothing to complain he is more successful than Sarwan but he also need to be in the news to earn money when he is not playing.

Cricket is no more a gentleman's game.

Cricket now is more as a money-making machine for many of the players. that is why they all wait for the IPL to happen and the teams bid for them in any amount. More and more money they keep making via IPL and then through brand endorsement, attending different events and they charge for it etc. Through cricket they open the different revenue sources as well. Hope in all other streams as well it also becomes this way.

Not only cricket, I think at present the main purpose of all sports are just only making money. Whatever the purpose, the real issue is whether we can enjoy it or not. Look we watch sports cause we enjoy it, we want to enjoy our leisure time. But now some players are getting involved in arguments among themselves, which is never desirable for a cricketer. I expect cricketers will be more restrained in the future and not get involved in arguments, as a cricket fan. I don't want to hear that people says "cricket is no more a gentleman's game."  Angry
5664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 29, 2020, 09:00:45 AM
That's good, so we can see Liverpool become EPL champions for the first time.
At least the first in the last 20 years. Liverpool last won the EPL in the 1989-90 season and the 2019-2020 season allowed them to repeat the long-awaited history.

It's been a long time to wait this moment, i wish Liverpool bring this dream come true after few times they failed to be a champions in the last week.
Since 1992, at least Liverpool has been runner up 4 times precisely in the 2001-2002 season, 2008-2009, 2013-2014, and the latest is 2018-2019. For this season I think they have a 99% chance of getting the title.

And at last settle my bet for EPL winners which been pending for a long time now. 1970s and 1980s were the times of Liverpool in English football. And now again they have built up a solid team, diverse yet  well balanced on every aspects. If they be able to retain current team and composition, they'd be unchallenged for years to come.

1970s and 1980s were the golden age for Liverpool. You may know that Liverpool won 18 trophies in First Division League Football from 1970 to 1980, Liverpool fans will never forget this glorious time. Yes I see the current team is very stable and balanced, hope in this EPL we will see the previous indomitable Liverpool again.
5665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: May 29, 2020, 04:42:45 AM
trust alone is not enough...
very risky to borrow money as gambling capital because of confidence in one's own abilities, especially dice/slot / Plinko gambling that only relies on luck. better collect your little money for gambling capital.
Trusting your skills in gambling is not enough indeed even you know the process, somehow in gambling it's proven you may win or lose the game. Not wise though to borrow money just to play there's a big risk that you cannot repay it. Much better play on your own money that you can afford to lose. Remember luck may come and go into gambling.

if you mention dice, slot or this type of game, these are fully dependent on luck, these do not require much skill to play. If luck is on your favor you will win, otherwise you will lose. so, if you make such types of gamble which are depending entirely on luck and want to borrow money from others. I mean it's the ultimate limit of stupidity, gamble with your own money and never spend too much money on gambling. because there are 50-50 chance of winning and losing.
5666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 28, 2020, 01:15:20 PM
Even in a lot of countries, there are so many people that do gambling secretly but it is surely illegal as gatherings are still not allowed in a lot of countries because it is still risky to go out because of the COVID-19 virus. There are so many people here in my country that is caught doing illegal gambling, most of the time people just do this kind of action just because of money, In that scenario, the government could be involved since they are doing it in the casino itself or maybe they are just addicted in playing. Surely there are people that would risk it for gambling maybe they are addicted or something to do something like this.

Lockdown has been going on in almost all the countries all over the world for about months. It is not possible to sit in the house for months without doing anything. Everyone is upset now, they need foods to survive, there are many people who have no other way of earning than gambling, so they have to go out for their livelihood. so, no matter how strict the government is, they will continue to gamble secretly. but i think the government should take necessary step to open all casinos. because the government can earn a lot of revenue from here.
5667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 28, 2020, 09:55:13 AM
Actually, I don't think gambling is the solution to escape the reality of life. If you are depressed or you have problem with your family and friend, then you must need peace of mind. At such a bad time it's better to take a break and walk around a natural place alone. I think gambling will not able to save you from such kind of problems. you can gamble to spend your leisure time, but if you gamble to avoid family problems or mental depression then I would say it is just nonsense, gambling will give you more mental pressure if you unfortunately lose your money. So, it is better not to gamble when you are under stress.
5668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: May 27, 2020, 09:09:16 PM
The points you mentioned are very useful, but you have to know that it is very difficult to control emotions after losing a large amount of money, Tongue yet we should not be discouraged, because we all know that gambling is fully depended on our luck. so even if we lose one day, there are still waiting many glorious days to win. If someone loses and felt uncomfortable, there is no point in gambling again and again, just take a little break, don't despair you should continue gambling after a little break. I would like to suggest you that, not to become financially dependent on gambling, because, if you are completely financially dependent on gambling, losing a large amount of money to gambling will affect you and your family. this will further increase your mental pressure.  so, if you gamble along with your permanent job, then even if you lose in gamble, it will not cause mental stress.
5669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 27, 2020, 08:54:05 PM
I prefer online gambling, because in my area real life casinos are very limited and far from my house, I think Not only mine, many of us have this problem. Although food and drinks are free at the casino, but the casino is a very crowded place, personally most of the time I try to avoid crowded places, I don't feel comfortable gambling at crowded place. only for this reason I prefer online gambling. Sometimes I don’t have enough time to go to physical casino, but on online I can gamble online whenever I want, it is very easy and it does not waste my time. on the other hand, many times in casino we can't control ourselves, we often lose much money by gambling. as a result, we may fall into financial crisis later, but in online gambling, we can control ourselves easily. Don’t know what you guys are thinking, I’m just saying my personal conditions.

5673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why You choose Crypto Trading instead of Forex Trading. on: May 24, 2020, 10:25:02 PM
I used to do forex trading, making profit here is very time consuming. On some points forex market is centralized, the benefits of investing in Forex are limited and not so good like crypto. Within a month, the crypto market is down and pumped several times with high multiplier. so, crypto trading is faster and more profitable than forex trading.
5674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: May 24, 2020, 10:01:04 PM
Trading on Bitcoin for 5/6 years which I understand, actually this is a kind of investment where is nothing to say loss here, all you have to do is be patient. you just have to buy at Deep and sell when pumped.
But most people do just the opposite, they continue to observe the market when it starts pumping and get up to buy when it gets pumped. after that when they see a little dump then they go crazy to sell, all in all their patience is very low. Yes, it is "patience" that I have learned by investing in bitcoin.
5675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have a question about gaming developer idea on: May 24, 2020, 08:25:43 PM
You know that gambling is just wagering of money or any kind of things but the sequel is totally uncertain. so, I think the game you wanted to open that includes gambling, because look at the main point in your game two person will invest money uncertainly with the intention of winning money. so, your game includes gambling, but I think you don't need to have a gambling license, gambling license are required for casinos, not for apps.
5676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does Gambling really mean to you? on: May 24, 2020, 02:21:56 PM
I don't know everyone’s story; I just want to tell you my thinking about gambling. There was a time when I was too much addicted-on gambling. As usual I lost a lot of money by gambling, at the same time I was able to make a lot of money too. I used to go casino every day and I stayed there all day later, I became too much addicted to alcohol. But after marriage, my life changed a lot, she helped me to think about my life, I calculated how much I earned and how much I lost in gambling, on the other hand I addicted to alcohol and some drug. I wondered what I got in life by gambling so much! After realization that, I tried to changed myself for my family. I just love gambling, so I couldn’t give up gambling. I tried to keep myself busy with other things fortunately I got a handsome job. Yet I often go to the casino with my friends, I do gamble only for the entertaining purpose. I don't want to earn much money from it, because it is not my profession, it is my hobby. I just want to tell you that don't be addicted on gambling.

So, I have a definition of gambling by my own, Gambling is a magical stone that can bring you good luck and sometimes it can be a cause of destruction for you, it depends on how do you use it.
5677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: May 24, 2020, 01:42:30 PM
I think that slots are way better than dice because of their payout structure. Lets say you are hunting 99x in dice, in this hunt you will not get paid if you hit 98x. But in slots things are different and you will get paid for every hit though you are aiming for jackpot. I know that most of the slots pay like 80-92% of what goes into slots but still if you compare it with dice (specially hit and run method) it is more profitable in long run (although in long run you will eventually loose in both games because of house edge) I want you to ponder upon this and please tell me how much I am right in this line of reasoning.

We should be respect everyone's opinion. you think slot is much better than dice. If we analyses some point, you are right. When you play slot, you will get paid for every hit, you know that Dice is different from slot in this point. if you do gamble only for earn money and if it is your profession, then you should be avoided dice. But there are too many people who gamble cause they find enjoyment by doing this, they like dice, because they want to spend a quality time, they don't need money.
5678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Analyst: "Covid-19 Could Spur More States to Legalize Online Casino" on: May 23, 2020, 06:35:24 PM
Quote
Do you agree the government will legalize online gambling? If yes, will traditional (land) casinos survive?
Of course traditional casinos will survive. The reason for this is because Casinos depend on tourists rather then the locals in an area. They will be able to move from place to place, tourist spot to tourist spot, casino to casino and be able to experience the thrill of the game. Of course they need to follow protocols given by the government to ensure safety in this pandemic period. Also traditional casinos bring money into the government coffers and in turn use it for government projects that help people. Online gambling in my opinion is a totally different ballgame altogether. Anybody can join online casinos and also I think it is high time for the online casinos to be legalized as it is also a money generator for the government.

yes, casinos are most often depending on tourist activity. Tourists come to Physical Casino and invest a lot of money in gambling. If government legalize online casino, I don't think that it will have an impact on the real-life casino. I think government take the right decision for this critical period. In this pandemic period going to casino is risky now, so government legalize online casino, so that you can gamble at home, no need to go to the casino, so there is no risk of coronavirus.
5679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: May 23, 2020, 06:15:49 PM

Do you think that those who elected for the trump in the past elections will again vote for him ?
In fact, I don't think they would make the same mistake of re-electing him if there was a fair election but look at the recent pool I can't figure it out how each time he gained very close result, who are behind on this!
Maybe the voters and fans of Trump are the ones who are sincere with him and they do not change the parties. Incipite of all the decision made by trump in all these years, they still love him and vote for him. That's the only reason that we see trump with good votes in all the surveys conducted.

I agree with you. Trump has a separate fan base and there is no doubt that is huge. No matter how bad decision he made, I don't think his fan base will diminish. But what about COVID-19! Do people see any effective role in controlling it? Don't you think coronavirus outbreak can change all the equation. If the condition of USA becomes too bad for Covid-19 and they failed to control its spread, then I think it will have a huge effect on the next election, keep calm and see what will happens.
5680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a professional gambler on your own way. on: May 23, 2020, 05:30:33 PM
There is no guarantee that you will become successful gambler.just because you follow some strategy. Even successful professional gamblers, and they are very rare, don't have a receipe that works for everyone. Many tried and failed to make for their living just on gambling, this is not an easy job. Everyone of us is unique, even in gambling so you need to have your own ways and to my opinion gambling at first place should be fun.
I agree to what you are saying, each gambler is different from another gambler, there are gamblers who are so serious on their gambling that they become one, like a card reader in blackjack, they spend a lot of time and efforts to become one their dedication is very huge and they know that gambling is for them even if they wasted a lot of money.

Every gambler has their own way for playing and everyone is different than the others by their thought and playing style. If you go to casinos just for entertainment and to spend your leisure time then you don’t need to be a professional.  but if you want to take gambling as your profession, then you must need some extra knowledge about it and you have to spend a lot of time to acquire that kind of skill. IMO everyone can be professional on their own way.  if you have enough knowledge about what you are doing and luck helps you then I think you can become a professional gambler too.
