5661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason why I will never help anyone to invest in crypto on: January 27, 2023, 11:47:28 PM
I have also experienced the same thing with some of my forks who want to make their investments decision andchoicese based on my observation and prediction, but my fear always is what the result of a bad market will be since they have solely become dependent on me to choose for them what investment decision to make,  but that is not possible because I can't have anyone blame me if their investment goes wrong. But if they make the choice themselves they will learn to take responsibility for their actions and make better decisions in the future since there will build more confidence in themselves some of them are not willing to take that long walk, and there prefer being fed with every information their need all the time because their ether lazy to research and seek knowledge.

Did anyone saw big news about Stake casino signing new sponsorship deal with Alfa Romeo Formula One Team?
Maybe someone from Stake team can say if we are going to see a big Stake logo on Alfa Romeo Formulas or not, and maybe they can show some early formula design images.
I think this should mean special promotions and bonuses for all Formula One races this year Smiley
https://stake.com/sponsorships/alfa-romeo-f1-team-stake

This is another great fit for stake and the entire stake family, stake has continued to press on with their team sponsorship and partnerships thos is one good way stake has given back to the community in one way or another other and stake logo anticipation in some key parts of the formula could be a great deal and even me I am thinking of getting a stake art frame in my leaving room since I am now a stake signature participant, and I am happy with the level of development and promotions happening around stake as a brand.
5663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: January 27, 2023, 11:20:51 PM
we have plenty of opportunity to move within (currently) a wide window of $15k-$90k
so don t expect crashes to $10k or speculations up to $200k
prices will(for now be limited to 15k-90k.. but from looking at the flat line resistances of 1-8 week periods. the whales want to control the price marginally in smaller movements

Are you talking about this year or until ATH max of $90k? If this year I agree that's more or less the range (except I think $20k to 50k is more likely in this next 12 months).

If it is including next year I do expect a crash to $10k if it happens below 30k (50% wipeout).
Yeah, I also agree with the price range you both quoted as the benchmarks for the year, bitcoin will move within that line but the direction it will go is uncertain as usual and the only thing we can do is wait for it out and base our predictions on current market behaviours such as.
-Percentage movement of Bitcoin within a short period e.g the current price movement is a good factor to look upon.
-Level of price stable in an uptrend direction which can easily result in a new price breakout.
Even though the possibility of seeing this prediction become a reality remains uncertain, we can at least be rest assured bitcoin may not drop below its last low throughout the month or even beyond.
5664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 27, 2023, 11:00:09 PM
So my question is:
~ Do people hodl just because others are HODLing?
~ Why do people hodl rather than sell and buy again when low
~ What is your major reason for HODLing and how do your survive the bear market?

Holding or acquiring Bitcoin is done with various motives while some holders are in for the long term frame others are just traders who are in the market for just quick gains, so their both are two different concept and ways of accumulation of their assets.
-long term holders seem to be more conversant with cold wallet since their in for the long term.
-But bitcoin traders, on the other hand are in for the profits and gain of the market and their seem to make frequent use of exchange and pay more attention to DCA price of Bitcoin at whatever time.

Welcome to bitcointalk, I believe and I am sure you are in the right place to build all the knowledge you require for a successful crypto journey, bitcoin/cryptocurrency is a wide subject that is made up of many components and branches and only the forum alone can't give you everything you want to know so you will need to make an extra effort toward making more research on every information you get from this forum and in doing so you should also pay more attention to the following point.
-wallet security and how to protect your personal information as such is not required in all cases with cryptocurrency.
-never to trust any information that is not backed up with data and facts and not just assumptions and try to compare information before making your judgments on key investment decisions.

Manchester city and Arsenal locks horn again in this magnificent encounter in the Fa cup. Honestly I am not hyped about this match.

Well I have my money on Arsenal in this match I honestly feel they want it more than Manchester City and they have all it takes to get it.
And now Arsenal is lost 1-0 to Man City in the full-time. Isn't Arsenal so excited about this match that he's late to play one of his key players? But it is possible that this is not their main goal. Man City itself is not a small club, so, it is quite difficult to Arsenal to catch up score and end in defeat.
Exciting moment it is for Manchester city to have walk away as the winner of the match, after struggling in the whole 90+ minutes just to make an impact and this is the breaking point for Asernal this season if their are not careful all their subsequent matches may be lost or draw, Asernal have made a significant improvement this season and their have remain on the top spot in the premiere league this season.
Manchester city on the other hand occupied the top position last season but this season Asenal pushed man city on the second spot until further results that will determine who among the two club clig to the 1st spot on the premier league table this season.
5667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good news for APT? on: January 27, 2023, 09:42:37 PM
Is there a big boom in APT Coin?
If you know why this coin goes up, please tell me here.
Let's discuss it together!!
If I must say the reason is no far from their current situation, check most of those coins that get a sharp pump drastically dropped few hours after the boom, if you talk about more stable coin movement then we can be sure of some little stability in their price growth and moving inline with other coins such as bitcoin so as the general cryptocurrency market make sharp market uptrend movement so will other altcoins who have usercase will increase.
-But any coin that have it's own parallel market pump will drop as sharp as the team cash out their gains.
5668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 27, 2023, 09:33:14 PM
Manchester city is playing the same pattern of football as Real Madrid this season, they may have not put the best foot forward in this first half, but they're going to make every possible attempt to make a goal score in the second half and if Asernal does not close their defence in the second half any attempt from Manchester city will become a possible goal. But I doubt if there are going to be multiple goals in the match as both clubs are well-prepared for thos games tonight.
Not sure there will be many goals in this match considering that the two teams are equally strong in their defense. I saw the game in the second half relatively both teams continued to provide more interesting resistance in buying and selling attacks. pep guardiola may slightly change the scheme in this match in the second half. Manchester city is still trying to be able to win this match in front of its own supporters, it's just that Arsenal are very strong from the early minutes which can make this match even more interesting.

I think a thin score will be the final result in this fight, even though a draw is still a big chance. Erling Haaland got quite tight guard from the arsenal defense line, I saw him several times fail to develop his game because of the dense defense that was carried out by Arsenal.

Edit : 1-0 for manchester city advantage  Grin
Yeah the second half just started a few minutes ago and Manchester city made very good use of their first chances and was able to convert the chance into goal score and at the moment Asenal players are trying to get their balance to be able to relock the defence and possible push forward to equalize the goal if possible.
-But Manchester city on the other hand is ready to walk away with this one goal score if possible but let's see what the outcome of this match will be.

Well, I have my money on Arsenal in this match I honestly feel they want it more than Manchester City and they have all it takes to get it.

The first half was in training mode, both teams either did not immediately show all their trump cards or are not going to do this at all
However, Arsenal has had a couple of chances while City hasn't created anything and by the way, Haaland is still nowhere to be seen on the pitch. On the other hand, it takes him 5 seconds to take advantage of the opportunity to get his name on the score sheet.

5670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin compete with CBDC's? on: January 27, 2023, 08:53:32 PM
Just having Bitcoin as an alternative is cool for most of us, and bitcoin and CBDC are both two separate networks of financial transaction and asset management, Bitcoin have multiple features that are absent in CBDC and with that BTC vs CBDC is no equal and among the many differences is:
-Bitcoin is a decentralized currency with its own blockchain free from alterations from any part such that is evident in altcoins.
-Bitcoin serves as a trans border currency! Bitcoin is also an Asset were CBDC is just a currency peg to a fiat so ultimately CBDC is a centralized altcoin.
5671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 27, 2023, 06:06:50 PM
If it was the gambler's own money, he could be very depressed seeing the big loss he got and would not have the confidence to meet anyone because maybe the people around him have cursed him for having made one big mistake by gambling with big money. But yeah, we can only guess and don't know the truth. But what is certain is that it is a valuable lesson that we can reflect on so that we do not waste that much money on gambling and even make something that can make money for us. It will be better for our life later.
I think gamblers who bet very large amounts of money are their personal money and this is done to be able to get even bigger profits.
He must have known what kind of risk he would receive because he was betting a large amount so it would be impossible for him to bet carelessly without any prior consideration.
Maybe for us, it is a very large amount of money and it would be a shame to bet all of it but for him who is risking it is not a large amount because surely he is a person who has more and more wealth.
I believe the gambler the bet away 1.4 million must have been a heavy wager that has won a lot of money from previous risks, and this loss may have been as a result of overconfidence in the odds since the odds look to the player as a sure odd and he risks such big amount inline with that judgement he took that heavy risk and I am sure his decision was highly influenced by several things.
-The quest to recover from previous losses.
-over excitement from previous big winning
And the rest of what have you,  but ultimately 1.4 million is a big amount to wager in just a bet.
5672  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽🎮🎲 Coinplay.com | Brand New Crypto Sportsbook & Casino on: January 27, 2023, 04:44:17 PM

Some of the programs you say for casinos to retain loyal customers I find quite interesting and good.
The program is also likely to be effective if it is implemented by every casino.
Just as I think that a good reputation and casino service to users are also the main factors for casinos to have many loyal customers. Moreover, if there is a problem with the users, the casino team can quickly respond and solve it, it will be a separate satisfaction for each user.
So that users will find it so difficult to leave the casino.
Well reputation can be built over the years and any casino that want to build a loyal community of players must focus much more on the reputation and how their treat players, it may be a hard job but paying more attention to reputation is what sustains the casinos on the long run since gambling industry is becoming a highly competitive business lately and for a casino to retain it client's there is need for the following things to be put in place which are.
-How honest the casino is I'm handling players' issues most especially the program that relates to withdrawal or deposit issues.
-the casino bonuses systems how we'll their ability to keep the client up to date with various promotions that require little input to claim.
5673  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Betincrypto.org 🚀 Crypto Bookies & Casino Reviews 🔥 on: January 27, 2023, 04:11:29 PM
Welcome to the forum, all gamblers are of course happy with review sites like this because of course, especially a beginner who wants to play casino, they are usually looking for the best and safest and most trusted, so they can visit your site, but it's a good idea to become a copper member so you can make promotion design also in this thread using better images to get visitor traffic from this forum  Wink
I guess any active newbie on this forum who want to review a site that have it presence here in the forum, it is easy to point out a few number of casinos that offers good services and have build their presence here in the forum.
- Cassino rating site and review are not the most reliable to make a choice on, but looking at thos services in ops I can say their reviews are quite accurate using my own personal parameters and checking the forum rating of casinos that score 4.6+ and above rating score.
5674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 27, 2023, 03:15:41 PM

I hope you know that liquidity is what pushes the price of cryptocurrency. That is why you will see that liquidity always fluctuate. Sometimes liquidity varies depending on some factors which involves the number of trading pairs of the coin, trades like buy and sell and many more. The nature of the team will also decide how valuable the coin would be. This is the major reason why we need to hold coins that has strong and reliable team that are working to make sure that the project keeps souring higher everytime.

Yes I know liquidity is what keep the price of any commodity and to sustain that a project need to have high market exposure, because the liquidy of an asset is what equal it value on the exchange market.

-But also know that liquidity refers to various things and is not only limited to coin trading pairs alone even though we are discussing that presently,  bankroll is also liquidity, in my country,  before you can operate a finance e e is institution like a bank, but you will also have to pay into CBN as insurance and nce in case the platform run bankruptcy CBN will pay investors.
-Sure there is high rate of fluctuation in the market,  that is how the stock market work.
5675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should be very careful with alts on: January 27, 2023, 11:25:50 AM
Because most scammers use alts to prey on the crypto community. But, I'll just clarify that not all altcoins are bad investments, that's not what it means.

You can't just stop others and yourself from investing in alts, you or we must also know that there is a high risk involved in putting our money into it, so that even if something bad happens, you know and you are ready for the consequences too.
One of the major set back of layer 2 network is that, it allow smart contract duplication and multiple chain development and their success was then aided with the ethereum blockchain which allow the external collaboration from various chains.
- This chain has created room for several project development and various types in the market, the majority of them are now scams, dead projects and what have you.
- we have seen so much hype that rides the cryptocurrency market at various times since after the 2017 altcoin boom that opens up the altcoin market to the rest of the world, the development has led to various hype such as ICO IEO Difi NFTs and the rest.
-some times I stop to think of it that the altcoin markethasdonee more harm than good to the young growing cryptocurrency industry.
5676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best sportsbooks? (MMA and boxing) on: January 27, 2023, 09:42:14 AM
I am on the look out for the best sportsbooks that have high betting limits and can bet in crypto.  I mostly bet MMA, boxing and soccer.  Most sites have pretty slim pickings as far as MMA odds go, there are a few with a ton but most dont allow crypto betting. You have to convert to fiat, which I hate doing.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

The best I have found is Chipstars, but again it converts to fiat to bet with.
You are on the right board to discovering your preferred casino with a high limit and just as others have suggested aside from the popular casinos such as stake and the rest we still have other casinos that already have an established positive reputation in the forum that you can choose from.
- I could have pointed out a few of them to you but I will like you to make the discovery yourself and because relying on others to make opinions on choices is a risky thing to do.
- just make your choice after careful observation and I wish you good luck.
5677  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺 wild.io 🎰 Wheel of Fortune 🎁 Daily Rewards 🔥 10 Minutes Cashouts on: January 27, 2023, 09:28:52 AM
Wild.io are scam artists, they embezzled my 0.0047 BTC deposit and 0.005 BTC winnings!

They also run a bonus scam scheme!
I guess with the few positive reviews that have been posted in this thread, it will be difficult for anyone to believe your accusation and more also so since you did not share any evidence to support your claims, I am sure it will be easier for you to get attention if you can include some few proofs of your activities on wild.io so that we can also verify the authenticity of your accusations.
- I am not disputing the possibilities of your claims but for clarity's sake, I will not believe just comments without proof.
5678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 26, 2023, 09:44:10 PM
Snip~

I am sure that you are aware that Bitcoin is created for such purpose and I know that you know it. In short, it defeats the purpose of using cryptocurrency which is you won't be known or stay anonymous but the casino or the platform requires you to submit KYC then why bother gambling in that site or platform using crypto when you can't stay anonymous. I know it's because having license required the owner ask people KYC. It is a vit vague and made you think that it's a dead end for other gamblers who don't want to submit KYC but what I meant is that they will be forced to do KYC when they don't have a choice but to use centralized platforms as you have said.
The fact is Bitcoin's core purpose doesn't include centralization but Bitcoin services can be centralized e.g exchange, casino, and payment processors e.t.c, but even with all the centralization around bitcoin still gives us the choice to either choose to give out our identity or remain anonymous because if an exchange or a casino is centralized as kyc compliance, you as a bitcoin user, you have the right to either give up your identity or look for an alternative platform that is decentralizeded. So it still balls down to one fact that is you are in charge of all your online activities.
5679  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Duplicates topics; How do we stop it? on: January 26, 2023, 09:35:19 PM
Snip~

Although everyone will see it from different dimensions, and as for me I see am as one dimension, luk at also the similarities of the two I found 4rom di threads.
Quote
_you will be unable to use your Zenith Bank Naira Cards for International Automated Teller Machine {ATM}
, in other words, Naira card means Domestic Card in Nigeria. Another clearly similarities, 1. He made mentioned not Naira card and u made mentioned of Domestic Card which I believe one idealogy. 2. Di first thread is toking about di termination of International withdrawal from di Naira Cards and di second thread is toking about the termination of Domestic Cards and fused it in one, so they are all token about card termination (stop). One of the article must have caused di creation of the other article.
That means as an experience writer in the forum, you can use it as a comment in the first Thread and it would still suit your purpose. And it would be nice.
But no wahala wi nid dem to progress, just dat we r trying 2 clean di board. 🤝. One love

Baba true sense dey for waiten you talk but the thing be say those two topics get wide differences because.
The first thread is just a cbn short term policy for forest protections and the thing be say, some Nigeria in the diaspora have taken that window of spending naira using international cards through the forest windows and subsidy from government, in fact some of them turn the thing to a business.
But my thread is a discussion thread, I aim to update the thread as the development unfolds, with in-depth information and data analysis and in no time, you will see the result of my efforts on that thread.
5680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 26, 2023, 09:27:05 PM
I would also say the same that online casinos being too accessible or easy to access cause addiction more serious or grows faster as the title says. Even those people who doesn't like to submit personal information or details to pass KYC in the casino would be forced to submit KYC if they don't like the casinos that doesn't require KYC or prefer much better casinos to gamble. I think only a few people will do it if they really don't want to submit KYC.
Let me ask us this simple but delicate question.
What is in KYC that players always frawn upon, I understand the thing with identity theft by hackers who may get access to casino KYC data base, but aside from this single challenges I don't see why there should be problem submitting you identity documents to get verification, what we should settle in our mind is that, once you make the decision to use centralized platforms then be ready to give out your personal details. So ultimately,  KYC is not a dead end for gamblers but a choice to chose from.
