5661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 (within a month?) on: June 18, 2016, 12:18:19 AM
Pffffft.

Within a month? Within two weeks.
If you're using the prior increases to prove this point, it's not necessarily because of predicted factors. Although the price has jumped dramatically, it's still too hazy to say anything about $1200-$1300.

I doubt that it'll happen.
5662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 17, 2016, 12:20:42 AM
Euro for me has been disappointment after disappointment.

Firstly, it was England v. Russia (where they tied, and I was so pissed)

And today you have Austria losing 0-2 against Hungary, and Portugal tying 1-1 just like England?
Ugh.

Hoping Germany doesn't see any problems!
I bit my own words. Although Germany today didn't do too bad (if they lost, I'd have been even more annoyed) it's still a little bit disappointing. I didn't bet too much on Germany fearing the possibility of defeat, and I guess I was right to do so.

2-0

Think lots of people lost bets because of this...

Austria even declassified Netherlands, how can this be?
There's been a lot of disappointment recently. Looks like there will be more people betting on higher odds perhaps these days

Shame. I also wagered a good sum on Austria winning. How did they manage to lose like that?
5665  Economy / Gambling / Re: your opinion about newcasinobitcoin.com on: June 13, 2016, 11:26:22 PM
The website looks sleek overall but if there's one complaint that I have it's the Bitcoin icon in the logo: it looks a little bit squished horizontally. I'm pretty sure that it's been free transformed to do that. It doesn't look quite right to me, but it's a minor complaint.

(Though, as I look at it again, there's three different fonts in there that don't match completely right. Maybe have a couple small changes for consistency?)
5666  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: This interesting website has turned a bitcoin faucet into a microeconomy on: June 13, 2016, 11:22:34 PM
So this is basically a lottery system sort of game. Kind of risky given that you don't even know how much has been invested in the game. All you have to go on is the fact that there are x other players.

Probably will turn scam at some point soon (if it hasn't already).
5667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 13, 2016, 11:12:07 PM
Both team is going with offensive gameplay right now so sooner or later we can expect some goals. I got my bet for sweden moneyline as well incase both team didnt score so I could get my loss covered by this point however sweden hasnt got any shot yet so far, they just keep on exchanging passes

I am also going for Sweden, but from what I saw in the statistics Ireland is playing better (no shots on goal for Sweden so far, against a clear opportunity for Ireland). I will watch the second half, I hope Sweden improves.

No need to watch for second half , Irish are playing well and Sweden are playing like BabySitter , Ibrahimovik is Posing too much and not delivering for his country.

I bet on Ireland and was happy until that own goal went in on a header. Why he put his head on it, I do not know.   Undecided
I had that parlayed with Italy in the first half with 15 odds.
He should of just let the cross glide by as their was nobody on the other side to take it.  Roll Eyes
The shot into his own goal must've caused a wild ride of laughter all across the stadium. I imagine that he'd be scolded extremely harshly for that mistake. Euro has seen some interesting things thus far - England v Russia and in this game. I'm pretty sure if Ireland didn't lose that point that they might have had a high chance to carry it towards a victory. Shame - I bet on 1X2 (either team victory)
5668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anybody Use REVERSE Martingale? on: June 13, 2016, 10:50:39 PM
Why would reverse Martingale be more successful than ordinary Martingale? They both bank on the player hitting big streaks.  Hit and run style of betting is the most successful long term. You might not win a lot in a session but at least you won't be bankrupt either.
No strategy is particularly better than the others [considering probability] and thus even hit and run (over a long time) will eventually have the same chance of losing as going all in.

Or perhaps consider this:

You bet $100 on a 1.98x payout, with a 50% chance of winning. The house edge is 1% and takes $1 from you.

You bet $10 ten times on a 1.98x payout, with a 50% chance of winning. The house edge is 1% and takes $0.10 every time you bet [let's say you win every time], which adds up to $1.

It's the same and albeit you may last longer the more you bet the more you give to the house edge.

Let me quote from The Wizard of Odds: "All betting systems are equal to flat betting when compared this way, as they should be. In other words, all betting systems are equally worthless."
5669  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best Gambling sites in the internet right now? on: June 13, 2016, 10:43:55 PM
No matter what site is that your playing dice and dice is a game of luck. Just play on site in whom your comfortable at. Anyway arent we had a thread similar to this one, i think we have.

You're wrong, Dice Games also rely on skill. That is where every game we are obliged to find a loophole and a chance to do a bet. Without the skill bets of any kind, things that you can get only a defeat and the dice game is a game very fun and profitable if you know the Trick and his strategy!!!
What's the "trick" and "strategy" of dice games? There is no skill involved in them. You're literally betting on random numbers and seeing if it's going over or under a certain amount. There's no strategy in dice (apart from gambling strategies, which always approach a high risk of ruin).

You can't beat the system and profit [statistically].
5670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on game but not right result what do you think? on: June 13, 2016, 10:41:44 PM
Do you have a screenshot for this wager?

Also, which sportsbook were you using to bet on this?
It might help with clarification.
5671  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Would you buy steam keys from me for half the price of the game on: June 13, 2016, 10:34:50 PM
I would buy some keys just to see if they are really working and than buy bulks of you because I also can make a little bit if profit if you are selling them for the halve of the price if you ask me.
I would do this because I love playing games and to get them very cheap makes it in my eyes very attractable and also good for people with not a lot of money right ?
Yes of course, if you go first.
OP has been inactive since May 29 (a week after the account creation)

I don't think anybody else would really do this kind of thing. Perhaps it was a failed scam attempt? I'm unsure. If this deal is offered by anybody else, I'd be interested in it. However, I don't think many people would be willing to give a 50% discount. That's pretty ridiculous for a fee (especially since OP wanted to avoid high fees in the first place)
5672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your first gambling experience? on: June 13, 2016, 10:29:28 PM
My first gambling experience was with the old dice site named Dadice. It was pretty hard at first since I'm new in playing a dice game, that's why I always lose all my bitcoin I earned from faucets site.  After few weeks of playing, I've finally recovered my losses Smiley, it was awesome since it was the first time that I have profited in a gambling site and it is really an achievement at that time. Luckily, the site have close and left me with a positive profit .
I also remember dadice! I managed to twist a pretty profit off that site as well. It's a shame that it closed down - I would've liked to continue my streak and made more money off of it. I was ready to invest a couple weeks before it closed, though, so I guess I'm pretty lucky in that regard.
5673  Economy / Speculation / Re: $652 - my laptop just exploded! on: June 13, 2016, 01:25:25 AM
Too many ignorant people here on the forum, they don't know what's going on around the world, specifically China's economy. The recent price increase is NOT due to the upcoming halving which everyone and their grandmothers HAVE KNOWN since the beginning of the year or earlier. The reason why bitcoin price is increasing is because China started devaluing their currency, Yuan. The timing is unfortunate, or fortunate. I still believe the rise from 250 to 450 was due to the halving, remember how 435-450 had been stable? 450 to 650 is due to China. It's a great news since Chinese are the only ones able to ROCKET it to the moon, we may be looking at a brand new ATH. I had thought it would go to 900-999, but I may have to revise my expectations upwards.
We have also known about the 21 Million Bitcoin limit since 2009.  So what's your point?  Markets don't price things like that in the way that you think or else Bitcoin would still be worth a fraction of a penny.
What is the way that he thinks? From my point of view, all he's saying is that the Chinese Yuan is going down in value and thus to save their assets, many of the people are buying bitcoins which in turn drives the price up. What are we getting wrong here?
5674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PokerFace ? on: June 12, 2016, 11:28:05 PM
Takes more knowledge of betting patterns to learn your opponent as that is the only variable you can get from an opponent online.
Whether online or live, your long term profits will come from being able to recognize your opponents play style, their betting patterns, their tendencies in different situations and then exploiting them while at the same time watching your own playstyle, betting patterns and tendencies so as to not get exploited yourself.

An opponent's physical demeanor may help in some cases, but focusing on the above is what will carry you to success in the long run whether you play online or live or both.
This is true. Regardless of whether you can read their faces or not, you can discern which actions to take if you are able to recognize their playstyle. However, against an erratic opponent who conforms to no principle, it's difficult and you must hope for luck on your side.

Obviously though, the more you play against a person, the more you start to form patterns on what they do, but it's the same both ways (so you must be careful in how you play)

i think betadviser is taking some party today haven't see any free update after that loss, might be enjoying with his winnings
good job mate just let us now if you have something new in mind will be happy to follow you with your bet. good luck.
Yup mate, my sister get meried i was on party..going to take some rest, need to sleep..see ya tomorrow with some free and premium picks.
Congratulations on the marriage and the bet.

I managed to twist that into a pretty 100 mBTC by parlaying a win by Poland and Germany.

Tomorrow, most likely the important one to look at is Spain's game. They should be pretty strong against Czech Republic and so I'm willing to strike a good amount wagering towards Spain to win.
5676  Economy / Speculation / Re: $652 - my laptop just exploded! on: June 12, 2016, 11:13:46 PM
I was just gazing through the prices (as I do occasionally every week) and as soon as I saw 600+ I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought it was in a different currency, but no. $670+ USD.

Incredible.

This price rise has almost NOTHING to do with the upcoming block halving.

It's because the Chinese are buying bitcoins in droves, that's causing the massive price increase, just like they did in late 2013.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-11/bitcoin-spikes-above-600-2-year-highs-sudden-massive-chinese-buying

The reason why Chinese are buying? Their currency, Yuan, is being devalued by their Communist Central Party Gov't.
Perhaps there will be a large dump coming after the currency devaluation stops. After all, I don't expect that they'll be able to use all their bitcoins Wink

Holy shit I'm mining with Laptop, it's profitable again when price reaches 9 999 999 999 $

SYSTEM IS OVER HEATED
Don't mine with your laptop now. You spend so much money on electricity and get pretty much nothing in return.
5677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa america 2016 dicussion on: June 12, 2016, 06:11:00 PM
Although it seems as a good prediction, it still doenst guarantee those prediction are really safe, especially in Brazil vs Peru match. I was wrong when I predicted Colombia would beat Costa Rica, but in fact Costa Rica won.
Edit: Anyway good luck Smiley
Anything can happen, though I would agree with your bets. They seem reasonable, and Haiti looks fairly weak when we're placing Ecuador vs Haiti.

Poland leads 1-0 against ireland
going great Smiley
And it's a victory! Fantastic - now it's only Germany to win. Hopefully they don't screw up badly like England did. That was a terrible upset for me.
5679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportstips - Basketball/tennis/soccer 🔥 Wins 93 - Loss 10 🔥 on: June 12, 2016, 05:50:22 PM
I got a message from someone interested in the investments like I had in the beginning of the thread.

Will someone be interested in this kind of arrangement again ? Like last time it will be fully escrowed.
I'd be interested in this offer (possibly with a small amount, 0.05 BTC) and I'll see where it goes. Please PM me with details.
5680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: June 12, 2016, 12:26:30 AM
I gamble infrequently, and thus usually I stop on my own when I'm done. Whenever I win a significant amount of money on a site (usually ~2x the deposit) I withdraw it.

I have a limit on deposits, though. This is usually based on a variety of factors, but I have enough self-control to stop when I've deposited too much. Cut your losses before they turn into bankruptcy.
