5661  Other / Meta / Re: Homework : count how many alts the OP has on: November 19, 2017, 08:27:39 PM
If you see a project bumped by an army of alts it should be a clear indication of the dev's intentions. If you have a good legit project all you need is buy some ads, maybe start a small bounty campaign on social media and it will all go by itself. If you spend time or money to get accounts on bitcointalk instead of working on your project you're an obvious scammer. Ignore such projects and they'll lose.
5662  Other / Meta / Re: bullshit posters on: November 19, 2017, 08:20:47 PM
You cannot blame them for trying to make a living. I award them A+++ for trying their best to survive. Shouldn't you all, with your superior writing skills and spoken English be doing great things with your lives? Instead of spending your days here, posting for cents, then looking down on people who cannot speak or write English? Get off your high horses, nobody but yourselves cares about your "high quality posts"

I guess you're trying to troll us into an argument. You can't be really that ignorant. Can't you see that they're doing it at the expense of the rest of us who obey the rules?
A computer connected to the Internet is something a person struggling to survive wouldn't have. Stop trying to legitimize their actions!
P.S. We aren't posting for cents but bitcoins which makes a huge difference for a cryptocurrency hoarder like me.
P.P.S. It seems great things aren't for you as you were posting for a campaign weeks ago. Wink

5663  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-16] ECB's Nowotny says central banks considering cryptocurr. regulation on: November 19, 2017, 07:59:21 PM
It's impossible to completely regulate cryptos. The only thing you can regulate are exchanges and for that matter only those that exchange cryptos to fiat. Crypto - crypto exchanges are basically untouchable since in the EU it's legal to trade game currencies and tokens, like virtual gold, items, skins. It's going to be extremely hard for them to regulate crypto exchanges and not touch other virtual goods.
5664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: healthy discussion about DICE on: November 19, 2017, 07:01:09 PM
The game works against people who aren't playing big and is set to block the richest, that's my personal idea.
If you had huge money to spend you theoretically could play the system even by martingaling 50 bets in a row, but you'd need a lot of money to do it. Casinos know that and are adding max bet limits. So if you are there to play low and can't go big after a number of small losses in a row you just can't get your money back and they can safely keep you at 49% win ratio and still make money.
It's not only an internet casino thing. I've seen pro players being kicked out of real casinos because they can't just limit your bets there so the only way is to stop you from playing.
5665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any one who won significant amount of satoshi in gambling..?? on: November 19, 2017, 06:52:37 PM
I don't even gamble using bitcoins at all, whenever I gamble I make sure that I use my cash because I don't want to risk betting an amount which may triple in value in about a months time.

It doesn't work that way. If you're willing to bet cash you're also missing out by not investing in BTC that may triple in value.
In case you don't get it: you have 7000 USD and 1 BTC worth the same. If BTC goes up in price you have missed out anyway because only your BTC got tripled and you lost your USD gambling, so you're left with 3 BTC and 0 usd. If you lost your BTC gambling and then converted USD to BTC you'd still be left with the same amount of money (3BTC) after a month.

It doesn't matter what currency you're playing with!
5666  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why cloud mining providers sell hash power instead of mining for themselves on: November 19, 2017, 06:45:10 PM
The question that keeps bugging me is why they sell hash power instead of mining for themselves with all that hardware that they have installed?

The answer is really simple. They don't have the hashpower they're selling and need money to buy hardware. When you're buying a contract you're giving them money to expand and buy more hardware and if that hardware pays for itself you'll get your money back. Once your contract ends they'll be left with that hardware that they can keep using or sell and profit. Without your money they would have to take a loan and that's always risky.
5667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we be worried with Bitfinex? on: November 19, 2017, 06:36:47 PM
It seems that there have been a lot of people complaining about Bitfinex. It seems that Bitfinex has been using Theters to pump Bitcoin price. Now a lot of people is shouting this might be the next MTGOX.

What is your opinion on this one?

I'm not worried, I don't have money there. I've never used bitfinex mainly because it's a USD exchange and that's not my currency of choice.

I'm worried about USDT running fractional and blowing up into everyone's faces,

You have the right to be worried because it's going to happen sooner or later. A balloon can't keep expanding forever. A great example of this is Zimbabwe. In 50 years you're going to pay $100 for a pack of smokes.
5668  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question about my curoiusety in mining on: November 18, 2017, 10:52:01 PM
Browser mining doesn't work. If it only were this easy... You go to a site make an account and boom it's mining! You leave the site on in the background on your pc at work and get free income every day with no cost. All those big mining farms could be recycled and everyone would simply need to keep a site opened on their laptop...
Now back to reality people!
5669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Low transaction fees on: November 18, 2017, 10:45:20 PM
Hey, I had the same problem last week, the bitcoin network was overloaded and blockchain.info wallet offered me a commission of $ 50 Grin absolutely crazy for transfer of 0.001 bitcoin.

You should always check the fees, compare to https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ and set them manually. Sending money with a fee of $10 would be a robbery, $50 is like a financial suicide. I'm sure a number of people lost a lot of money on that bottleneck, especially business owners who had numerous transactions to send on a single day.
5670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x returning as per coinbase email on: November 18, 2017, 10:38:26 PM

If they went forward with it right away I think it would have had a shot to be successful but confidence is broken at this point. If the fork happens I'll be converting my segwit2x coins to BTC.

With your stash on the line they should be afraid.

I don't think it will happen especially after reading some tweets by Peter Todd. 2x has some technical issues that still haven't been resolved. If they had everything ready in time it would've happened already.
5671  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the anti government on: November 18, 2017, 10:35:56 PM
I don't like the government. It strips people of their rights and steals from them.
If you think you have rights just wait until you get into trouble with some high ranked official. You'll see how the law usually works. For them to destroy a person is like taking a piss, just a normal daily routine.
5672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you get active gambler referrals in Casino sites through campaigns? on: November 18, 2017, 10:31:41 PM
Sadly no. I have been posting for a casino that allows you to get your own referral code for a while and although some people have used my code to sign in they weren't high rollers or even regulars. You'd have to be extremely lucky to get a regular sign up via your signature. Normally you'll get more profit from a single campaign post than your monthly referrals.
5673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting My Way To Russia! on: November 18, 2017, 10:18:23 PM
Wow, just wow. I envy you mate. Even if you end up losing you'll have so many pictures and new friends. Money is nothing compared to the experiences.
The only thing that strikes me in this thread is the word soccer. Its bloody football ffs! Angry
Good luck with your bets and keep us updated!
5674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: November 18, 2017, 10:09:23 PM
No, never. I actually need a clear mind to gamble. I play mostly card games, so I need to focus and rethink my moves each time. I never play on emotions and I rarely do it to kill time. When money's on the line I'm always doing my best.
It's possible to play automated games like dice and slots when you're nervous or sad, but if you lose it at such time it could push you deeper into that state.
5675  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Selling My Online Escort Agency In Marbella(Spain) on: November 18, 2017, 10:02:40 PM
Honestly, If I were a foreigner I'd be afraid to buy it due to regulations. This business is always borderline, one day it's all running nice and the other you're raided and charged with pimping. It all looks great at first glance, who wouldn't want to be a pimp? Cheesy In reality it's really risky. If I were a Spanish citizen I'd consider it though. Is there a price tag on this because I can't find it in the posts?
5676  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: November 17, 2017, 11:34:52 PM
Trading is a pure technical analysis and not an educated guessing game and current events is a part of this technical analysis. To avoid getting loss we need to become updated with the news, consider checking the volumes of buy and sell, and analysing the chart.
Analysis that still comes down to guessing. That's the reason for not all traders agreeing with the same thing. Some will always elaborate on why it should be going down while other will do the same about going up. Bears always have their own TAs and Bulls their own Cheesy If it was purely technical they'd agree more frequently.
5677  Economy / Economics / Re: Why segwit2x failed on: November 17, 2017, 11:32:52 PM
So,now we come to know the true reason for S2X supporters to suddenly cancel its activation. So,its not about the lack of support but technical error so that they could not make their ream true.Just they said that they don't want bitcoin community to get split blah blah blah.....So,finally truth has been revealed.

I just pity those guys who pushed for conferences and talks to make miners agree on one and the same fork. You know back when the community was divided between BU and segwit... It seems that all that effort was for nothing because the devs failed at their job. They will have to find a way to upgrade though. We can't go on like this forever with the rising number of transactions.
5678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: November 17, 2017, 11:27:30 PM
But even if you are learning from your gambling mistake still if you are addicted to  gambling you cannot stop playing gambling. because i know some people personally who even want to stop gambling but still cannot succeeded in their aim. Therefore i do not think that it is so easy to stop playing gambling.

Actually, if you said the world gambling a couple less times the post would look much better and with luck become readable.
5679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive Sell Spam Attacks By BCH On BTC Designed To Crash & Pull Value every Sec on: November 17, 2017, 11:23:13 PM
Actually BTG's value is still not established since you can't deposit it and many exchanges haven't even added it despite the fact that people had coins there during the fork. I expect it to crash when trading opens in full. I also don't think spamming a single exchange will make the price crash on the rest of them.
Any proof of the attack? I know there's a group of people trying to pump BCH but they have failed once already. There's no need to worry unless you're a BCH holder Wink
5680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2017-11-17] Bitcoin Cash Might Soon Be Worth 1/10 of Bitcoin on: November 17, 2017, 11:11:58 PM
I think it's doing quite good pricewise. It's actually quite amazing that both of these competing currencies can experience a rise in the same time.
I've always thought that BCC might be taking part of money from Bitcoin and it seemed like it a week ago. Now BTC +BCH are together worth almost $10k!
