I see bitcoin as a small extra besides my regular income. Offcourse if the bitcoin price would skyrocket, I would buy a house with my earned bitcoins. I think everybodes on here hopes that the price from bitcoin will continue to rise and rise  |

In the past i liked to watch wwe, it was enternaining and fun to watch. Also back them you had superstars like the rock, hulk hogan, goldberg, the undertaker,... Nowadays I don't find it fun anymore to watch, no real superstars anymore (except brock lesnar maybe).
Anyway sometimes I do bet on it, if you do some research and read blogs, articles than sometimes you can find interesting bets.

Anyone nows why the price of zcash made such a big jump yesterday? At one moment it was around 380$ and then quickly dropped again. Now it is around 280$

Anyone willing to post some info on their income from the new browser mining option and what rig you are running. I am curious to see what people are getting and if they can pay the electricity they are using to mine these Satoshi. I ran this on a old pc and I did not even make enough money from this, to pay for the electricity I used. {test run} I use the mining option when I am working on the PC (with low hash rates, to not overheat my CPU). Yes, it will give you only a couple of satoshis extra, but it is a nice extra. And same here, mining not working for the moment |

I don't know Omise and have no idea what its use it, but if the news is true and Mcdonals will use than coin than the price will go up significantly. Any major news is always a nice catalyst to reach new all time highs:)

For all of your die-hard Altcoin traders out there, share some input on your experiences or strategies you may have implemented/utilized to find success. I myself have had my fair share of dumb luck (knock on wood) but i'm interested to hear what some of you legends have to say.
The best way to make profit is to keep your self updated with current news and affairs going on within the crypto world. They are strongly related to market and the price. If someone well known or a famous site talks about a coins, we can see some significant rise of the price. Also spread your investment to few different coins. This was you are able to minimize your risks. Follow to advice like adzino says. If you want to be successfull with trading you need to invest your time in it and read news, blogs, forums to be always up to date. Also try to learn as much as you can from experienced traders. It is always a good idea to spread your investment, never put all your eggs in one basket. Spread it over coins where you believe in |

I prefer to buy my altcoins by fiat, kraken is a nice site for that.
However smaller altcoins (like deeponion, verge) are only on certain exchanges such as bittrex and there we need to buy altcoin using BTC. I am not a fan of that, because I simply want to keep all my bitcoins

I have a couple of favorite coins, but as I am a fan of Charlie Lee, i have to say Litecoin.
It is bitcoin's silver, has a strong development team, already made a very nice jump this year from 4$ to almost 100$,...

I also thought that, after the China news, bitcion would drop lower than 3000$ and maintain around that number.
At one moment prices were around the 3000$ but quickly recovered to 3500$ and now around 3900$.
I am curious to see if the effective shutdown of the chinese exchanges will have an impact on the bitcoin price.

Doge used to be one of my favorite altcoin but it seems that it's not gonna recover to it's former state.
Is their hope for Doge? What can you say about the big drop of Doge?
Here doge is going down because the main reason behind this factor is that the team of the doge coin is not much active in these days . And also i seen that only those coins getting popularity for which we can see new new things or any new activity of coin team . Well here i think that it will soon starts to increase Because it is down to about 20 Satoshi which is limit of the value of the doge . Here we should see at this moment with Better positivity Because at this time we should invest in this coin Because it is that coin whose value can reach at 100 Satoshi easily and have better potential in the cryptocurrency market . I think one of the major problems for dogecoin is, like noictib mentions, if the lack of activity of the development team. They haven't done anything recently to bring new things, new features, ... Other coins, such as litecoin, ethereum and other small coins have much better and more active development teams which try to always bring new features. I don't think dogecoin will die one day, but price for dogecoin will always be low and get a pump here and there. |

One rule one of my best friends has told me about trading:
You can not always buy at a low point and you can not always sell at a high point.
He is right about this, trading is risky and sometimes you will have a loss, but it is part of the game.

I was thinking about buying NEO, but after the whole China ban, I was not sure anymore it was a good buy.
All major coins are in green today, NEO rised more than the other coins, but now we will have to wait and see to where it can go.
Maybe it is worth a small risk to buy some...

This is one of the most difficult things to know when to stop and it for everyone different.
I only play for small amounts and if I win the double of my base investment, than I cash out half and I play with the other half. With this you will always have profit (offcourse if you win lol)

I don't think most of members cannot cover electricity with this and CPU is also going burn as hell I am not going to check this option as I need my computer for some long time
Yeah, this shouldn't be profitable for people doing it with their own resources. For some reason the option seems to be gone from my topbar. Same for me, I don't find the option anymore in my topbar. For me it is a nice extra feature, I only use 2 threads and 50%, which is acceptable and doesn't slow my computer too much. It only gives me a couple of satoshis, but it is a small bonus, so congrats to wetsuit for this new feature! |
