5701  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SEARCHING an Mentor to make my life great again on: August 02, 2019, 10:26:00 PM
You need a financial coach but the words that these coaches will tell you can also be found on the web. Look for a youtube channel that has a content on how to save and invest money.

There are financial mentors on the web that has numerous contents on how to spend your money wisely. It's a step to step process and it's free because you'll just have to subscribe to their channel and watch their videos, forget about their monetized videos.

What I've noticed about talking to various financial advisors, they say and advice almost the same things.
5702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHUSD on: August 02, 2019, 09:59:00 PM
Just keep on posting what you think about Ethereum/USD trade. You may not be a pro but as long as your points and basis are valid, you may give an interesting point with what you are delivering to us.

Bitcoin moved nicely this day but I've noticed that ETH haven't moved that much. If it's a bull trap on $230-$240, on what price you're start selling?
I definitely won't sell ETH at that price. Because the real price of ETH is being traded below its true value, due to the hotness of Bitcoin over the past few days, many investors have forgotten about ETH.
I'm DCA ETH from $ 215 - $ 209. I will sell it at $ 400 by 2020.
We cannot be sure that ETH would be hitting $400 but I'd like to see its price going to that direction. I can still hold my position until 2020 or even longer than that.

I'd be more willing to wait a little bit longer than sell at a losing position.

5704  Other / Off-topic / Re: Chinese Ghost Month on: August 01, 2019, 10:58:39 PM
I respect their belief but this doesn't affect me in all aspects mostly with my crypto investments. I think that the traditional investments that has a belief on Chinese Ghost month would follow the tradition. And the crypto is already immune with these kind of events.

If we look at price history of Bitcoin
July 15, 2016 $664.74 then by August 15, 2016 $569.09 that's minus 14%
July 15, 2017 $2,064.93 then by August 15, 2017 $4,125.31 that's a positive 99%
July 15, 2018 $6,385.32 then by August 15, 2018 $6,410.34 its still a positive 0.39%
However, Chinese Ghost month starts and ends on a different day every year I will research further on what are those days in 2016 to 2018 to give an exact price of Bitcoin on those days.
Great! Please do more.
5705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Careful !! Don't share your problem in Telegram on: August 01, 2019, 10:10:29 PM
Right, most problem concerns should be done on their live support or through email. Telegram channels and accounts are easy to copy so beware for those impostors that will try to offer you their help but they have hidden agenda and that is to scam you.

They might ask you for a certain amount of money and will be gone within split seconds once you are done. Be careful also in emails, you should always check the domain if its the right one. It's easy to check if its an impostors email.
5706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to buy amazon products through coin cash? on: July 31, 2019, 07:10:02 AM
Coin cash? I assume that this is just another altcoin that isn't popular. Don't compare it to bitcoin and tell that they are alike.

Although there's a way to purchase amazon gift card through paxful[1].

5707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Career on: July 31, 2019, 06:10:23 AM
Just because you made some money through poker, you are now ready to start your career as only gambler?

My advice is keep that $1000 for your expenses until you get your new job,you might lose all that thousand dollars even in a day itself.
He's trying to look for a solution which he thinks gonna fit himself while taking up a rest. The situation he's currently in is a struggle and I understand that because he had won, he became confident with it.

But he's looking for a faster solution and he thinks that's the solution. And he had mentioned that it's his 'dream' to become a pro poker player, well everyone has a dream but who knows? there's nothing wrong to have dream like that but it's up to him on how he'll execution his plan. Just be careful with the triggering effect if the results aren't so good.
5708  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice on how best to protect your capital on: July 31, 2019, 04:02:45 AM
Though I agree mostly with what you have said and you already mentioned the key to avoid these scams and that is through the known strategy of DYOR.

Doing your research with due diligence will save from everything. You don't have to skeptical with everything, you just have to be knowledgeable and fully aware of the potential scam schemes and attempts that are existing today.

I agree! Additionally we also need to diversify our portfolio with different digital assets to minimize risks and I think the OP has forgotten to  discuss the importance of keeping our computer systems safe or in other words, don't let your system be compromised or be hacked, that I think is one of the important way to protect your capital instead of focusing on the integrity of projects alone. Imho.
Security of your computer and your assets will do. It's part of growing while you are living in the world finance and investments including cryptocurrency or bitcoin investment alone.

Diversifying should be done by everyone and it's not just for crypto's which I reckon what TP has said. In this manner, you are starting to become responsible the way you are managing and on how you are spending your money on worthy things.
5709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think can affect the Binance coin on: July 31, 2019, 02:58:49 AM
I've checked their exchange and I thought that this was the integrated exchange that already have with their wallet. But after looking to it, the volume's pretty low obviously because they are starting.

I don't see any reason why this exchange will affect other popular exchanges. It's normal for a growing company to compete with other companies through adding another service which they think they can fill the needs of their customers.
5710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need help with deal on this forum on: July 31, 2019, 02:12:16 AM
PayPal transactions are reversible that's why the escrow you contacted rejected your request. However, you can buy bitcoin with PayPal through  different websites. I've used virwox before and it's already a long time since I've used them.

But upon looking at their dashboard, they are still offering it. And when you are done buying bitcoin there, you can now ask the escrow to do the deal for you since you have bitcoin already.

Thanks for the correction, it's typo.
5711  Economy / Speculation / Re: Significant Sudden Move on BTC Price on: July 30, 2019, 08:03:47 PM
I've seen that rise but I'm not looking for any reason for this. Let's just take it as something normal during these rainy days.

The price is stabilizing on $9500 and the possible support for this time is $9000.
5712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [YES/NO] CAn i recover them if my btc get hacked? Is it possible?? on: July 30, 2019, 07:13:05 PM
Can you give example of that company that you are looking out right now? I think that you have been introduced wrongly to bitcoin by someone who's investing into HYIPs and cloud mining websites.

By putting your bitcoin with those 'company' you are likely to get scammed and not hacked.
5713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My BTC and altcoin picks, Let's share Portfolios! on: July 30, 2019, 06:43:37 PM
Most of mine are bitcoin and Ethereum. I've been hearing the news about XSN but still I'm not interested of buying other coins that I haven't fully researched well.

Ark is popular around 2016 up to 2017 but now it had gone through the lower rank although 109 isn't a bad rank.

@OP you've got a nice portfolio and it's highly valued.  Cool

OP, does got a nice portfolio with high value but I don't support the part of him screen shot and posting his portfolio cause it can make him a target.

I don't want to boast my portfolio as well but he already did it. Next time, he shouldn't be this aggressive because I'm also concern about him. He can learn from others suggestion and might extract and apply it in the future.

I'm amazed to see on how big his portfolio.

Certainly Bitcoin should be a large chunk of any portfolio.

ETH I personally am not a big fan of. Will have a look at XSN, never heard about it before.
I don't have XSN too but it's becoming noisier these days because of their staking. And every investors are looking to that kind of source of income and you will have to need at least 15k XSN to run a masternode.
5714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Best Privacy Coins In 2019 on: July 30, 2019, 12:44:28 PM
You chose the oldest privacy coins. But what about some new? Like Grin or Beam? I think that these 2 have a better chance to earn you money than Verge or Pivx.  Wink
I personally like Pivx but not Verge. We have difference when it's about the top privacy coins.  Monero will never get out of this list and it has remained as the top privacy coin.

With a decent number of Pivx, you can earn through its staking. I also like dash if I just have enough spare money to invest but now I'll stay holding my bitcoin holdings and wait until it goes up and will prolly invest to these preferred privacy coins.
5715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Store of Value? Experts on BTC as Digital Gold on: July 30, 2019, 11:00:48 AM
This is an unending debate whether bitcoin is a store of value and labeled as digital gold. Obviously, we people from this community would agree to say that bitcoin is a store of value and also said that it's the modern gold or digital gold.

The beauty of bitcoin is that it has a lot of use case including those two that was mentioned.
5716  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Case $7.5K Could Become Bitcoin’s New Price Support on: July 30, 2019, 09:54:09 AM
The price of $7.5k per bitcoin is too low
It isn't too low, what's too low? $1k, $2k and $3k support that we have already surpassed. Don't let yourself be confident with the current prices and just accept the flow of the market whether we will stay on $9k or not.

So what if the support would be $7.5k? Aren't we looking for another support if the price is stable on $9k level? if by next week we didn't get out of $9.5k, I'll expect the unexpected although I don't want to see it at that low support.
5717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: observe the market situation and the price of cryptocurrency on: July 30, 2019, 08:11:27 AM
Cryptocurrencies natural characteristic is being volatile. This is the reason why many thinks that it doesn't have a fair value but the community determines its fair value through supply and demand.

Very simple, if there's no demand but it has a lot of supply, there's no one that will buy it and it's value will be worthless. As for the market cap, we just did passed the long bear market for the entire year of 2018 and now think of what's next.
5718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin, a future is not clear on: July 30, 2019, 07:29:38 AM
You know Didi Taihuttu? he's the first person whoever did this. I don't have the guts to do this if ever this is for real, good luck with your journey. Your success is every bitcoin holder's success, we share the same road and roller coaster.

But before deciding to do that, have you really think of this for so many times?

There's a free trial that you can use through the direct website of adobe acrobat pro dc[1]. Though after using it, you can decide to continue and pay the monthly or simply stop its usage.

5720  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 BTC/DOGE/LTC/ETH/CSNO | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: July 29, 2019, 03:38:17 PM
BitDice has added EOS as an available currency on the site! You can now deposit and play Dice, Blackjack, and BitAces with EOS!
Surprising addition that BitDice has added EOS. I don't hold EOS but adding the top 8th coin on CMC would be nice since the platform itself has some casino's built up.

This is more convenient for those who do love to play using their EOS  Smiley
