5721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 10, 2019, 06:37:10 PM
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.
There are lot of people think that they are professionally gamblers but in reality there is no professional gambling are gamblers it just meant to be entertainment. When someone don't have any e profession other than gambling then they are risking their life too much and the chances of get over that risk is nearly zero.
5722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Local bitcoin trading site doing KYC NOW on: August 10, 2019, 04:56:51 PM
Are you people sure if LBC is asking for KYC? I just logged in and checked but there is no pop up like thing for KYC. I am able to do transactions same as earlier. Perhaps KYC procedure may be for some specific countries. If Local Bitcoin is asking for it, there may be some regulatory pressure from local govt.
Local Bitcoin is a trusted website, I do not think there is any issue doing KYC there but there may be govt interference in all the transactions being carried out there and that will a matter of worry for sure.
You won't see any warning if you didn't cross the limits of lower tier, but you can check the verification status under your profile to know the new tier verification. It is for everyone and it is not yet implemented, you need to complete before September because I think from September one is going to be the new tier verification process gets implemented.
5723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Cryptocurrencies Can Succeed on: August 09, 2019, 07:25:04 PM
Only top 20-30 coins will survive and rule the world.
Which top coins you are talking about?

The list based on their marketcap values and trading volume?

That list contains coin like ripple and bitcoin cash it will also rule the world?
5724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be put to an end? on: August 09, 2019, 06:08:40 PM
After one year of this thread seems like ICOs becoming to extinct since IEO takes place of the fund raising so people who can afford for it going to IEO but still lot of ICOs there still they are not making any considerable amount of fund raised.
5725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sold too damn early!! Kicking myself... on: August 09, 2019, 03:58:21 PM
Never look back once it happened because we can't change that moment, just learn what mistake you did on that occasion. If you are not in loss of tha decision then you no need to worry about, aim for the profits don't be too greedy.
5726  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bounty Manager Salary on: August 09, 2019, 03:03:52 PM
Some managers who accept weekly payments like the signature participants, you can easily identify how much they charge weekly by observing the host bitcoin address the fund for that campaign is been held in as they also send themselves their weekly payment.

Also I remember the manager of one of my previous signature campaign admitted he gets paid in percentage of total weekly payout of the signature participants. example if total paid for the week was 0.1 Bitcoin, he get paid 10% which is 0.01 Bitcoin.

Wow, 10% is literally very good amount because they need to answer questions raised by the bounty people, sometimes managing a campaign is a really very tough job because they need to answer for different campaigns. For ICO, a campaign we don't know how much they are going to charge because they need to manage a lot of thing on a weekly basis.
He is talking about bitcoin signature campaign where managing telegram will not included on managing signature campaign rewards. The job of the signature campaign manager is to pick the best poster and keep the things spam free and also check their signature time to time then make payments at the right time.

But for the bounty managers the tasks are huge for less payment but they are not going to pay the participants directly and also they don't hold any liability for scams
5727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another BINANCE HACK?..... on: August 08, 2019, 06:44:55 PM
Was that a hack on the exchange coins or hack on traders' kyc information?
I guess the the CEO of binance should confirm if this indeed happens before we rush to conclusions. Or binance users who find their data from the hack could confirm it too. .
Seems like only information of the of the traders leaked and CEO already denied that this is just a FUD.

But didn't see any price fall on their trading exchange so this might be a rumour.
5728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you want to win big...accept defeat on: August 08, 2019, 04:39:25 PM
hello gamblers
many players are complaining about the way they always get busted, they keep playing in the same way and they are doing nothing but making their loss bigger. the point here is not about greed or being greedy, its all about the right time to stop which is very hard since no one can predict the next move in gambling. many players make good profits but they keep playing instead of stoping, and it always leads to one result,,,bust. how ? once they make good profits and starts to lose they refuse to accept the defeat and keep playing to recover, and it ends up losing all they have, the case here is not about greed, but about accepting defead. once you accept the loss and say ( its enough losing ) you can take what left from your profit, do it over and over and you will make a good profit.
if you want to be successful in gambling accept the defeat first, and the game is all yours.
best of luck rolling
Its funny because some gamblers will have the mentality like 'my time will come when I hit the jackpot if I keep playing'  Roll Eyes
Some of the really bad gamblers get so addicted to the dice games that they are convinced they will HAVE to win the jackpot at some time and keep playing until they have lost everything
It is called 'gambling' for a very good reason but some that are effected by the disease cant seem to come to terms and accept the fact they suffer from it

That's really not gonna happen. What if "his time never come"  and he keep n losing money on every jackpot. Also many people do not have much extra money which they keep on losing and investing more. This type of approach can only be taken by those who are very rich. Normal gamblers will not be able to continue if they lose consecutively some good amounts.
Even rich can come to streets if they are not winning anything but keeps playing every day,so everyone needs to know their limits based on how much money they are having.Gambling can change someone life in minutes but it will happen only one in million bets so make sure you can withstand until?
5729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental or technical, which one you do used? on: August 08, 2019, 01:55:06 PM
Can someone actually trade and be successful with only fundamentals   Huh To me, relaying on news alone can be dangerous because sometimes, news don't really reflect market direction.
No one can actually be a trader with cent percent success rate so it is okay to be losing some times, all you need to do is make profits in the long term and make surplus capital from what you invested by doing more profitable trades than more losing trades.
5730  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet - phone required? on: August 08, 2019, 07:50:29 AM
But that page doesn't mention a phone number.

I use Bitcoin Core for the main wallet.
The point of Coinbase was only to have an intermediate place to hold small sums, when I want to isolate my own addresses.

You need to add mobile number first under settings menu. Then you will receive 2fa codes through mobile number.Even after you entered the codes you have to confirm the email from the same device you try to login. You can use don't ask me codes again for 30 days option but after that you will need that old mobile number.
5731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i realize my dream on: August 07, 2019, 06:22:40 PM
Since I joined crypto world 2016, my dream is to own an exchange where people worldwide will trade cryptos.

I have made several research on how to own an exchange, but the stress, programming, management, time and finance involved in getting and running a good exchange is damn too high.

Am just a HTML programmer and no idea on blockchain programming.
Finance is number one issue, many good exchange script seller out there cost nothing less than $30k + setup fee including API key functionality.

I have contacted some friends to invest but non interested as they all have no clue about cryptocurrency.

Am saving some cash but it might take 2-3 years to have the fund raised.
Now, if eventually am able to get the fund to start an exchange in the next 2-3 years, will it be profitable or i should forget it?

Some will say why i want to own an exchange? Anyway, i see it as a cool business, listening and trading fee are the attractiveness i see in it.
You can look for the investors by proposing your idea to them,You can also even do it by fund raising methods available on many different platform like through apps, social media.
5732  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ip banning, do you think it is pointless? on: August 07, 2019, 01:28:11 PM
Exchanges and casinos block ips from the United States but everyone just uses a VPN, why even block their ips in the first place when you know they are going to do it anyways.  I'm guessing they do it so they have some type of deniability?
They have advantages like they won't refund you any funds if you are having issues on your account and ask you to submit KYC then you are from a country where their site is banned.

They just follow the rules and get benefits,if you are using VPN to access banned site you hae risks as well.
5733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the main advantages and disadvantages of your crypto exchange? on: August 06, 2019, 05:30:44 PM
0.5% doesn't seems like huge amount because banking system has lot of hidden fee which even cost 6% for some transactions.SO you can actually use any exchanges where the fee is under 1%.

If you don't want to pay the fee then find someone who is willing to swap ypur coin then do trades personally, you only need to pay TX fee.

Not sure why we're comparing fees to banks instead of comparing to other exchanges, it's still unnecessarily high, knowing that the more bigger and reputable exchanges like Binance has significantly lower fees(5x less); and take note that it can even be a lot lower with BNB if OP trades a lot.

Coinswitch is pretty much on par with Coinbase in terms of fees, which is definitely not a good thing.
I meant to say that how much we are actually paying and keep paying to the banks but we are thinking to pay 0.5% fee to use the crypto related serivice.
5734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the main advantages and disadvantages of your crypto exchange? on: August 06, 2019, 04:44:00 PM
I use coin swith and they have 0.5% fees. but I don't like it, because I think this is a lot. for example, changelly has 0.25% fees. on the other hand, cs supports more than 400 coins and changelly just 150. Which one is better to use? and what is you exchange?

5735  Other / Meta / Re: Conversation Bots on: August 06, 2019, 07:36:18 AM
Common theme, and there are multiple people on the internet selling this sort of bumping as a service. Charging some obscene amounts for it too. Unfortunately they are always with lower ranked accounts, and don't care about getting nuked, and will just make a new account, and post again.
Selling a merited account is now a very big business. Someone can now buy account of his choice now. I do suspect is now a well organize teamed up group to create account and get it merited and sell it. The only way we can stop them is to understand the way they operate and report them
These kind of conversation will never get merits unless they have high ranked alt accounts but even if they got it can be tagged for merit abuse so their intention is to bump the threads or farming the account for ANN bumping.
5736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If it's all so fragile, what's the point? on: August 06, 2019, 06:27:57 AM
Go for trading when you see profits, don't wait for more profits which also can harm your bankroll.

Don't trust any signals which is not going to be benefitable to us.
5737  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money is a Bubble on: August 05, 2019, 07:44:44 PM
The idea of fiat currency itself is not bad, and I don’t think fiat should be classified as a financial bubble. Paper money should be issued in the amount of the state’s value of goods and can be printed on the gross income for the year. This is all economically sound and works well in practice. The problem with inflation arises only when the government prints paper money much more than necessary. In this case, the extra money can already be called a bubble.
In reality they were printing more money every year which is the reason why inflation rate of many countries keep increasing. But government has no valid reason to say whether inflation rate increases but they keep blaming heir citizens not paying the taxes and for not doing their work and the right way.

5739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest me to invest in Bitcoin Online Trading on: August 04, 2019, 06:58:31 PM
Hey Hi,
I am Ahsan and i need your support to invest in bitcoin trading, i already used poloniex, i bought DGB there and after holding so many month i got frustrated and sold all in loss  Cry now i want to restart the things again with around $ 1000. so please suggest.
Regards,
Ahsan

Perhaps you made a mistake precisely in that you invested all your capital in only one coin.  It doesn’t matter which exchange you used, but I know for sure that your portfolio should be filled with at least 10 different cryptocurrencies.  If we are talking about a starting capital of $ 1,000, then this is a good amount to start with.

Number of coins in our portfolio doesn't matter ifwe fill all of them with shit coins.

Diversifying all our capital into shitcoins doesn't change the result at all.We need to hold some coins initially which has some stability compared to other cryptos then also invest on some most volatile coins but not completely into shit coins.
