Proof of Holding

Whaley provides a fast and reliable way to look up and share your portfolio with other traders.
Verify your assets by adding your exchange/personal wallet.

So, you don't care about personal or sensitive info, the only thing that matters is how much are the people holding, lol.

How will be the giveaway, any provably fair involved, can you give more information about this?
5722  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Como invertir o comprar Bitcoin on: December 17, 2018, 07:42:01 PM

Eso de 'Go big or go home' normalmente termina mal.

5724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: December 17, 2018, 07:28:08 PM
Why not?

This is modern world everything becomes online so the gambling business also got upgraded and they are providing the same feature like in the real life casino. If you concern about cheating then no one can be able to win on their sites.

But what about the fake casinos, or the scam sites, that's a risk for users nowadays. At the end on a physical casino you can call cops if they scam you, but if the casino was online and they run with your money, there isn't much that you can do to recover the money, is sad but true, the problem here is about trust.

5726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gave us something more than the protocol on: December 17, 2018, 04:40:01 PM
It also gave all of us the "idea" of something like "Bitcoin", a form of "money" that is not controlled by the state, is achievable.

Bitcoin might fail, but the idea lives on to make a better "Bitcoin".

Bitcoin might fail? No way! it has no reason to fail.

If bitcoin already reach this point is because it was made to succeed... People believes in it, in the math behind it, and in the decentralised concept it give us, was what the world need and is imposible to go steps back.
5727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Christmas gifts this year, all my money in Bitcoin on: December 17, 2018, 04:24:57 PM
Who's with me?

Xmas is on the side of the corner, but we can spect a miracle, you know how bitcoin rolls, so, don't lose the faith.

And if the price still on the floor sacrifice the 10%of your btc and at least get a bottle of wine to forget.  Tongue
5728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit not Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2018, 04:19:14 PM
At the moment most of my discussions around SegWit are that many claim, that SegWit is his own Coin and if you want to send BTC from a SegWit address to a non SegWit address the coins would be lost.

And that SegWit updated blocks would not be able to HardFork?! So SegWit is against the Consensus rules.

Maybe I am getting something totally wrong.

Can someone give me a proper explanation about this topic. Cause lots of people I have been talking to, are either against it or want to shill me to BCash.

You are wrong because you can send BTC from a SegWit address to a non SegWith address without a problem. The issue about segwit address are the support, not all wallets or all block explorers gives support to that kind of addies, so is hard to trace their transactions or to have a segwit addy in your wallet.
5729  Local / Primeros pasos y ayuda / Re: WebCobra el nuevo software malicioso ruso on: December 17, 2018, 03:43:30 PM

5731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO MARKET SITUATION. on: December 17, 2018, 04:14:49 AM
Looking at the red market situation, what did you do and plan at the beginning of Q1 2019? Are you still sure the arrival of the Bull run? If so, you have the same expectations as me now. Hopefully the situation will change soon. Do not give up  Cool!! Thank you very much.

I'm not sure if soon, but I'm sure the situation will change. Nothing is constant in this crazy bitcoin world, so, let's be patient, that's the only option we have now.

My plan for Q1 2019 is to see how bitcoin crash a lil more, then get coins. That's the smart way to roll.

Another one, with a different username.  If nothing else, it breaks the plagiarism rule.  It's C&Ped right down to the spelling error.

@LoyceV has been hunting them down all day today and reported them. They will definitely be nuked as well.
Looks the Royal_bet is now their new website. They will keep trying until they eventually give up and maybe get a new trick.

Another one.

5733  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: We need some help to decode a hacker addon on: December 16, 2018, 09:14:56 PM
Unfortunately there is the misconception that running a google extensions is safer than running an exe, for unexperienced users. Plus people may think it's safe because it's from Google  Roll Eyes

How is the situation for Firefox extensions?

I'm afraid since this scam is quite easy to pull is just going to get worse the situation with these extensions..

Agree and it's sad, google and firefox should worry a little more for the customers, i know they are big platforms and should be hard for them to review their apps one by one, but c'mon we are almost in 2019 and that job could be done by artificial neural networks. A simple grep to verify if the app is hacking information from the main sites like google, outlook, or some social networks.

Is intolerable the fact that anyone can make this kind of apps and publish them as if there were no law.

5735  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullrun will always come , Newbies do your research well on: December 14, 2018, 03:20:21 PM
I still don't understand why people are so worried about bitcoin present condition, new cryptocurrency investors are the ones getting everything wrongly. After months of living in worries i desperately want to understand how crypto works ,while using coinmarket cap I came to understand that Bullrun and bear run will always come around ,from 2009 to 2017 graph clears all my doubts as many bullrun has been in existence since day 1, 2017 was the highest ,what will be next ? 20k ? 30k or double of that ? We all need to chill and relax ,this days will always find their way back in time .Do your research ,past histories have all your answers

I agree with you, bitcoin will give another one of those crazy jumps someday, and maybe this time hit the $100,000 each btc. But here the problem or the question is when this will happen? We can be sure it will not happen tomorrow. So for those who want to become rich will have to wait for sure some years again.
5736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV on: December 14, 2018, 02:17:28 PM
Can someone explain to me, what difference between Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV. Why in Bitcoin SV block explorer, people get BCH for mining a new block?
Where Bitcoin SV coins are getting from? And what is BitcoinABC?

Ok, first there was bitcoin, a coin with 1mb blocks every 10 minutes, but the spam attack comes and a lot of transactions got stuck for a long period of time, with blocks of 2500 transactions aprox and more than 100,000 transactions on the way this was looking a vuln. So, some devs come with the idea about a bigger block, but not all the community agreed with that idea, and then comes the fork, that was how BCH born with 32mb blocks.

At this point, we had 2 coins BTC and BCH, and to not make the story long some devs weren't agreed on the BCH idea and they decide to fork it again. In that point, BCH disappears and born BCHABC and BCHSV. So now we have those 3 coins.
5737  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: December 13, 2018, 06:14:50 PM
New scientific evidence has been released... The next video is the scientific proof that God exists:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXu9_etC5uk

But what's the science on it? Well, it explains how God exists with the 3 Newton Laws:

I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

II. The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.

III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
5738  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Satoshi Client. Network Traffic with No Peers on: December 13, 2018, 05:28:03 PM
You can use wireshark to verify the traffic on the port 8333.

https://www.wireshark.org/

That way you will get the information about what kind of connection is making your client, and what information is sending and receiving.

Just click on "Report Abuse" and report it to Google - the more reports the faster this scam file would get off Google's website.
