Technology and things are developing all the time, so it's not excluded that some new, better, more sophisticated cryptocurrency replaces the Bitcoin. At the moment I think there are more then 600 of cryptocurrencies but they are emerging every day, so who knows what future brings.

![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Honestly, this has surprised me. I haven't expect from all countries Russia to be the first. I think it's good for Bitcoin to be "institutionalised" in some good way. If this law will be passed let's wait and see how the things will be working in reality, would this bew good or bad law.

Bitcoin has met my excpectations. New, alternative currency that gives feeling of freedom in.financial transactions and business. But there are definetly people who are disappointed because they had different vision about it. Or people who from different reasons don't have access to Bitcoin and can't meet all advantages it has. Like in everything else, we are also not equal in Bitcoin too.

I've also heard that some world banks have shown the interest about Bitcoin, besides blockchain technology. Also that some are secretly investing in Bitcoin despite the public rebel and hate speaches aginst cryptocurrencies, especialy Bitcoin. Like they say, if there is a smoke, there is also the fire. It wouldn't surprise me if this was true.

Hey guys, if we were to come up with a huge petition and invite everyone you know to sign it, we could potentially get thousands of signatures. If we could get this, we could show it to any major company and hopefully sway them towards accepting bitcoin.
Any ideas? Will it work? Will it not? Improvements?
this is a great idea but why a petition with signing anything,...? instead I think it is a lot better that we start submitting request tickets with the sites we want to see bitcoin payment on. for example on steam there was a lot of tickets and a lot of forum posts asking them to accept bitcoin and they finally gave in and did it. the same thing can be done with any other site. I agree with this proposal for sending tickets and requests for Bitcoin payments. I don't think that any business would care about some petition signed by anonimous forum members but if they are starting to receive multiple requests by their customers that could have some impact and make them to change their mind if they want to keep their customers and improve profit.

Like with fiat loans youw can get into same trouble with Bitcoin loans to. Maybe even worse because of price volatility and if you don't have income in Bitcoin it could be very difficult to return the borrowed sum. People also think that is easier to get Bitcoin loan then loan in the bank but actualy this is not true.

Great news to see that medical workers are also up to date with latest news in crypto world and starting to accept Bitcoins. This kind of service they offer could be maybe like first aid to someome like first information they receive. I'm afraid that in my country that will not be the case for a long time.

It's bad in my country too. But not for all. Some people are very rich and have plenty of everything, some are hardly surviving. Politicians keep promising that it will get betr but nothing actualy happens. Some people see they way out in alternative, like Bitcoins, but there are just a few of them. Many others are leaving the country to find better life elsewhere.

I wouldn't choose between Bitcoin or gold, I would split the amount in both of these options. I think that both of them are good investment opportunities. Price of the gold also fluctuates but is on long term a bit more stable then Bitcoin. On the other hand Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are the future, they have become inevitable in financial world and more and more people are investing.

Saving money and manageing of money in general are tough tasks. Especialy when your income is hardly enough to cover all necessary expenses. In situation like this the only way is some extra job and source of earning that will help also to put some money a side for unexpected situations in life and some feeling that you have some back up.
|
|
|
First of allw, keep cool head and don't get emotional on price volatility. Which means don't get panic decisions about buying or selling under the influence of the moment without clear thought. Also, always have some back up planw, enough funds to be in the game all the time and don't risk more then you can afford to lose. And pray to get some luck too. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Stealing is always stealing, so yes, it's illegal. If you have posed different question, like is it illegal to.keep the coins that ended up in your wallet accidentaly then maybe we could argue about it. And it's not just question of illegal or not but also question of morality.

Find someone on localbitcoins who exchanges Bitcoins for GBP. The number of trade should be good for this currency. You will probably find some trader from your environment which should make the transaction much easier and you can choose among face to face or transaction or bank transfer or maybe even something else. I have very good experiences with localbitcoins so I would choose that method.

Nice sum to invest. I suggest investment in your own business, best something related to digital techologies or maybe to someone elses business that seems inovative and perspective. Or maybe to buy some shares and part of it invest in crypto trading. Maybe some altcoins are good idea too.

Unpredictable is good word. When you are in.trading business things can go so smooth and you are making nice profit but very soon this can change and you start to lose or getting nowhere. There is no proven strategy that will ensure you to be profitable all the time. And if you want to earn some substantial amount you need big starting capital.

Changing address after each transaction is very good from security point of view but it could be a bit confusing for monitoring and tracking transactions. More and more online wallets have this feature to change your transaction address although wallet address stays the same.

I'm looking to trade a small number of bitcoins for cash and a reliable website that does so, any suggestions?
I'd say that is probably isn't a bad idea to try out localbitcoins and see if there are any places to sell in your country/city there, but you'd have to be careful and follow the same procedures you'd do for a lot of types of exchanges. Aside from that, you have to find your own country's exchanges and use those based on the information you'd gather. I would also recommend localbitcoins, there is usualy the largest list of traders that sell or buy Bitcoins for cash. I would just add that if you chose one of them and face to face trading, try to meet in public and try not to be the one who gives money/coins first. Precausion is important.

I think investing in art is good decision. Maybe I'm not objective with this because I love art but I think you can't lose with it. Ok, with 12 Bitcoins you can't buy Rubens but there are always perspective new artists, maybe even in your local community, who are worth investing and which value will increase with time. Maybe it is not typical Bitcoin investment but you could try.

That's easy. Get a job–any job, even a paper route or retail job–and you can make that with just a few hours of work each week! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) On a serious note, what holds true for any other currency holds true for Bitcoin as well: If you want it, you'll have to offer something of value in return. The proverbial free lunch does not exist. oh, in what a good country you are if we compare our countries. In mycountry you can 0.1 bitcoin in week or less if you work very hard in building. If you want high paying job, than you need influential kinsmen or rich and influential fsther and that's why many people are going in another country for working. I would answer this thread's author that you can make much moneythan 0.1 btc in week with smally invested website. You need to learn seo for this and good keyword. I hope you understand what I said. I have to agree. In some countries 0.1 BTC is like nothing, something that people earn in a few hours per day, in others it's a fortune for which you have to work very hard. In some poor countries even a whole week or so. That is also one of the reasons why I put this questions, to see how people differs in they earnings, depending from what part of the world they are coming from. So, for some earning 0.1 BTC is piece of cake and for some it takes a hard work and time to get it. We don't live in same conditions with same opportunities.
