5721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Currently Bitcoin has a very strong resistance? on: April 22, 2020, 03:58:42 PM
Psychological ware has never been really helpful to bitcoin at all. We are in a situation where bears are saying things are looking doom outside so why should bitcoin be any different, if the whole world is financially screwed that means bitcoin should be financially screwed as well. Whereas bulls are saying bitcoin is different compared to other financial systems and the reason why it was created was to actually go out against these type of periods and be against inflation and actually help people save their investments.

When these two goats meet at a bridge and lock heads all day and night there is no movement in bitcoin, at least not for a while and that means we can't really profit right now, bitcoin is not doing anything at all which hurts the market immensely.
5722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mythbusters: today's chapter - Bitcoin's correlation with traditional markets- on: April 22, 2020, 03:19:02 PM
Lump of gold is still the biggest preference in the world right now compared to bitcoin because lets face it bitcoin is a 10-11 year old whereas gold is literally thousands of years old. I mean Hannibal literally attacked Iberia just so he can get all the gold and silver there to fuel the fight against Rome, that is 2200 year old information and I am 100% sure it was used for payments a lot before that as well. So, comparing something that is a decade long to over two millennia long I can understand why it is not easy for people to change their opinions all that easily.

However as you have changed your opinion, there could be some other people who have changed their preference as well, and over long enough time, people do not easily move from bitcoin to gold but they do move from gold to bitcoin so we will probably have more and more.
5723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price to hit $400k a prediction by an analyst *face palm* on: April 21, 2020, 06:00:13 PM
I assume people who are making these kinds of predictions are not doing it because they believe it, but because they want to get attention at a big way and get their names out there. Think about it, if he came out and said "bitcoin will be 8k in the following months until end of summer" would you really see that as news worthy?

Do you really think he would get his own topic at bitcointalk which has nothing to do with where the article was written? Dude said 400k and thanks to that his name is everywhere now, which I assume what he was going for. Another possibility that he just wanted to say 400k so he could probably get a lot more people interested in bitcoin, when you say 8k not a lot of eyebrows are raised, but when you say 400k you make some people check what bitcoin is.
5724  Economy / Speculation / Re: Currently Bitcoin has a very strong resistance? on: April 21, 2020, 05:22:28 PM
Do not be worried bitcoin always tries to go up and down at every possibility it gets, it is not a stock that could stay at the same price for too long which means the price will go above 7k once again very soon, probably in the next 10 days and you know what will happen after that? It will probably go under 7k once again. Bitcoin will literally do this forever until it breaks one of the lines, either resistance or support.

If the support is broken it will go down hard and if the resistance is broken it will go high hard, until that happens the price will bounce back between those lines forever, which means a lot of 6.5k+ prices and 7.2k prices, and moving in between. I know I am not an expert in trading but I have been around long enough to know what bitcoin does and why it does it, just don't know when it will Cheesy.
5725  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Remember Plustoken? they are still active and massive sell-off keeps going on on: April 19, 2020, 06:42:40 PM
If somehow there could be some initiative between exchanges, what should be the prime thing is figuring out who is the hacker and where is the money at the latest.

Because, we all know that this much money can't be cashed out without any KYC at all, there has to be some sort of trail that could be traced and if all exchanges work together in cases like this we are talking about billions of dollars worth companies working together and I am sure they could fund something that could trace all of this to a person, I know you think that might be a bit difficult but if you throw enough power+money+talent into a project like that, they could basically make it their mission and their only job so they could figure out who it is. And when you do catch the hackers once or twice, people will realize hacking is not the end result, you also have to not get caught and that might convince some people otherwise.
5726  Economy / Economics / Re: Trapped – Investors Unable to Exit Markets on: April 18, 2020, 03:46:03 PM
Well, there are two options for your future, either you change the whole system just like you say so that everyone could have a better life, not just when people retire but basically all the time and that way people wouldn't worry about their kids, the teeangers, the adults and the elderly because all of them will be living at bare minimum a survivable life with food, shelter, healthcare.

Now, if we can't really do that (which so far we haven't) that means we would basically have to put money aside for our future to either insurance or government or whatever we can find (now banks have very lucrative versions as well). Long story short you HAVE TO use those things you do not like, if we wait for a revolution and that never comes all of our future years will be horrible.
5727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safety first before trading on: April 18, 2020, 06:55:42 AM
Especially regarding trading volume, many traders underestimate this. While trading volume is one of the keys to making a profit and avoiding losses. As we know we should choose coins with high trading volume, so it's easy to make a profit. But there are still many traders who buy coins with a small volume, which eventually becomes a loser.
Volume is a good indicator but all traders who opt low volume coins not necessarily need to book losses because low volume coins are good for manipulations and people with considering vast capitals easily pumps those coins and book profits just before all others do. This way of manipulations are now a days takes places by group of small traders by informing each other through telegram/discord channels.

I think there are various ways for an exchange to really secure they're customers funds
Unfortunately hackers innovative themselves in rapid manners which makes all of us suffer in a new way one day or other. There isn't any simple solutions available against changing things other than sticking with basic security measurements like, for example, not clicking random links and not holding funds within exchanges as a crypto adopter/trader and an exchange must update their firewall system more frequently.

Not mentioning about your crypto balance in public
But hackers are easily tracking with the help of blockchain and posts on this forum still this is not a big thread as long as hackers start using quantum computing Wink.
5728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: April 17, 2020, 08:27:10 PM
Never forget that you can't learn without actually doing it, traders become traders because they actually been doing that for a while and that gives them the experience they need. Many people do start off with learning from books or other more experienced people or more recently even youtube videos (which I think should go into "learning from more experienced people" just makes it more available) but at the end of the day all of those big names in trading becomes those big names with trading themselves, if you do not trade yourself and just try to learn you can get to a point.

Whenever you start to trade, there are two times that teaches you amazing insight, one is the time you lose of course, because you learn from it, however second is usually not remembered, that is when you miss out on the money you could have made, those two makes you better and better overtime.
5729  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchange? on: April 17, 2020, 07:02:28 PM
I totally agree, binance and kucoin has been known by the big traders for a while now and they are used the most among the people who knows what they are doing and what they are expecting from a place. They have amazing volume as well so it makes things a lot easier, I personally use binance but I have heard awesome stuff about kucoin from the friends who use it as well so I like that too. If something were to happen to binance kucoin will be the place I move to.

Moreover, I have a friend who lives nearby and that dude went to visit their place, it is said that they have one of the best securities in the whole exchange world, he said the max someone could ever steal is probably around 100 bitcoins at most from now on (well from then on) and I definitely believe him.

Having volume and having security on top of it means that website is usually great, and both of these exchanges both have huge volumes and they are very secure to use as well.
5730  Economy / Speculation / Re: [NEWS] Former Bakkt CEO to Sell All Holdings After Insider Trading Accusations on: April 17, 2020, 05:37:14 PM
Lucius the point and the illegal part is not that she heard about some impending doom scenario and sold her stocks. Anyone could do that, for example a person who has heard about corona (which was talked for months before even lockdown started) could have sold and predicted this and nothing would have happened to that person at all.

The illegal part is she got secret information that wasn't shared with the public that she used it for, sure we all could see that she didn't get something super secret, it was basically USA will be hit pretty hard and everything will go down, quite obvious when you look at it right now, but she literally went into that meeting and when she got she directly started selling her stuff, which means she actually used that private government meeting for her own personal gain.
5731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Make the Move on: April 17, 2020, 02:35:53 PM
Made a move yesterday after coming across few threads about coinomi wallet in wallets thread of this forum, missing funds, stolen recovery seeds, some said it's coinomi team, some blame SSL but I don't want this to happen to me, I finally switched to Trust wallet even though it's not fully open source, I hardly heard anything bad about the wallet.
I guess you could always have one on your own computer you know that right? Bitcoins original wallet is still there if you are wanting to get a bitcoin wallet, if you want altcoins you could literally have their original wallets there as well. If you want to own any coin you want, they do have wallets that you can download and having it on your computer with some back up would basically be the greatest defense against hacking ever.

You could also use hardware wallets as well, those are pretty much as guaranteed as it gets, plus they are pretty easy to use as well and they have a lot better UI too and look awesome. Both of those options are always better compared to any wallet you want to use, maybe they could sound harder but believe me they are quite easy as well when you get used to it.
5732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 17, 2020, 08:59:54 AM
i think there are lots of factors involved most of which are already listed such as :
1. working product
2. real world use case
3. Active development team and community

But the most import aspect in my opinion is the aggressive marketing campaign utilizing both mainstream media and social media side by side that is one key aspect that will surely act as a catalyst for the price to go up. There are many good projects out there since the start of bitcoin like namecoin etc but their price didn't move that much and we have seen many shit coins pump without even a prototype all because of marketing.
Yeah, that "important feature" thing is quite important and many altcoins do not really care enough about it when they really should. If your coin doesn't bring anything new to the table, that will not get any attention, it has do really make a whole change to blockchain world, so much so that all the coins that is created after you should adopt the blockchain you made in order to continue.

Look at ethereum and eos and tron and so forth, they did something so great with the dapp world that now everyone wants to be a dapp blockchain and have stuff that are dapp with their blockchain. That kind of huge change will make your coin heard, if you can't really make that kind of change and only improve on what is currently available you will not be used all that much probably as well.
5733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the first reason why fraud projects are increasingly rampant? on: April 17, 2020, 06:27:46 AM
You can't really get too much money if you end up using just fiverr and nothing else. There are projects that spends as much as a million dollars to even start their project and they could turn out to be scams as well because they get insane amount of return on their investments.

You could simply use a million dollars to hire the best whitepaper writer, greatest coders that are willing to work for money, insane designers that can build unbelievable images, some awesome marketing department and use the rest to promote it with ADS and bounties and so forth to get even more community behind it. That person will have the greatest project at that moment for spending so much money, but will get almost all investors at his time as well so his one million will comeback to him as tens of millions of dollars which is a great investment.
5734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 16, 2020, 07:19:04 PM
At first I mistook Leroy Sane with Sadio Mane and I was like why would Liverpool want to give up one of their best players, and only for 80 million as well, at this day and age they can't spend 80 million and find another Mane.

Now, I realize its Sane from City and considering there is no league this year and there will not be any European cups next year for City (they got a punishment for it) that means Sane would want to leave obviously, dude probably wants to play in a team that could make some noise at Europe and Bayern is definitely the team that could do that. Plus City has a lot of financial troubles now, so they are probably looking to sell some players and make things right. This literally works for all three parties involved, a very rare win-win-win situation.
5735  Economy / Gambling / Re: WINZ.IO 🚀 GET FS TO TRY 🎁 Massive Slots & Live Casino Bonuses 🏆 Tournaments on: April 16, 2020, 06:42:03 PM
My problem wasn't really the loading time since it loaded pretty quickly for me. But, I would like to say for a website that is listed on BITCOINtalk, I think there is too much fiat going on with the website, this doesn't look like any crypto casino I know about but looks more like any other online casino in the world that accepts fiat.

Unfortunately, I do not really enjoy them and I would like the adoption rate of bitcoin to go up so I prefer to play at purely crypto places and not really look at the fiat websites themselves, which is why I found this place a bit off putting. Not that there is anything wrong with the website itself, they are probably great at what they do, but for me this is not what I am looking for in a bitcointalk casino topic honestly.
5736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 16, 2020, 05:14:06 PM
As long as we do not get some sort of injection we are not going to get over this at all. I mean think about it, there is no "cure" yet and that means people are staying in lockdown so the numbers may go down but as soon as people go out what will happen? Are you willing to test that theory, lets say there are 10k infected people left in all of Italy and zero death, that sounds great right? Would you let everyone go out and live the life comfortably like the old days with those numbers? I wouldn't personally accept it, you know why?

Because, we have no cure and that 10k people could restart all of this once again and without the cure we will be right where we started. Sorry but no football for Italy and no football for the world for a little bit more while until we find a cure.
5737  Economy / Economics / Re: Proposed Bill Would Give Americans $2,000 A Month Until Economy Recovers on: April 16, 2020, 04:14:10 PM
Ro Khanna is a progressive democrat that has been co-chair of BERNIE which we all know is the king of progressives in America, so it is not a wonder why she would give this kind of offer to the congress. However even if this passes congress which it still has some troubles and doubtful, it will be stuck on Russian Mitch and wouldn't even be considered and voted on at all.

So, there is no 2000 a month money coming in at all. Hell they literally gave everyone only 1.200 for one time deal just so they could give 500 billion dollars to their corporation friends and that is something people will not forget soon enough (or at least I hope so). This is just a suggestion basically and will not become the reality, we would all hope it should, but we all know its just a dream.
5738  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 16, 2020, 11:04:21 AM
Chinese economy can't really be crashed all that easily, we are talking about over a billion people that are all work force for them and they could literally just focus on building more and more while everyone dies and sell it to everybody else. This is the same nation that allowed people starve to death in order to look powerful, that is why I do not think there is anything that could ever crash Chinese economy as long as they have people that live there and nobody does anything about the human rights violations they are doing every single day.

If other nations stop doing business with China they would have to work with somewhere else and things would be super expensive since china makes it cheaper so they can't afford to NOT work with China as well.
5739  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 16, 2020, 10:23:29 AM
How can we safe ourselves from well organized scam projects? Some projects are so well crafted and in the end they scam people, to my own understand research doesn't help here at all, use case, whitepaper, team, every thing are so real and make sense, please give advice about this
That is the sad part, it is almost always too late to realize they are scams before they get to peoples money.

By the time you figure out that they are a scam and they are stealing peoples money, they are already very rich thanks to all the victims they have and we can't really reverse things because in bitcoin when you send money you sent it and there is no turning back from it. That is why it is vital importance to keep your eye open and let things go for a while before you join them, I know being early bird investor to many things made people rich which is why everyone tries to get in before it is too late but at the same time if you are too early, you would be one of the first ones to get your money stolen as well, that is why you have to risk not making too much profit and wait so you can be sure.
5740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is the best to earn more? airdrop or bounty? on: April 16, 2020, 09:47:09 AM
I think bounty is still a bit better. Airdrops could be for nothing, like you literally register your erc20 token wallet address somewhere and they send you free tokens there, no need to do anything, just for asking for money you get it, (not all airdrops are like that) which tells me maybe they literally worth zero as well? I mean how could you expect a token that is given out free to everyone would worth anything at all?

On the other side bounty is still a bit better because you work for it, you still spend nothing on it but you at least give some of your time to it which is why it has some value to it, still doesn't make it worth anything because your time could be worthless all we know, but at least it is not given out for free like the airdrop one.
