Sometimes you just need to know when to cut your losses and move on.  Like the legendary song,
The Gambler", know when to fold em and know when to hold em.  The biggest mistake gamblers make is when they constantly keep trying to win back their losses and believe their next winning streak is right around the corner.
The biggest mistake is they want to continue playing when they lose, they let their emotional feelings come into play and make recover losses their main goal, we know the end of result. you're right, the best gambler is to know when to stop
But a human who is just driven through all the emotions and adrenaline at the time of betting their mind will be ucontrollable and people's ego might asght trigger them to chase their losses even if they planned not to do so if you want to be a good gambler you need to know how to handle the pressue or it will eat you all.
Those are indeed a very difficult situation but i dont believe that someone wont able to control. No matter how emotional or having adrenaline rush you do have.If you are sensible with your actions and you are fully aware on whats happening then you can completely stop that situation on point. It just really a matter of self-awareness or being sensible.
We may know what will be the outcome of if we loss on bets but still most ofthem believes that or luck may found on the next bets so we are keep trying and this is the reality.Only way to save us from gambling losses is not by saving money on gambling just don't gamble for money.
You have the point! This had been the problem of most gamblers on where they believe that they might be lucky on next bets.I cant deny such thing yet i have experience on how hard to resist when your mind and emotions collaborates on such possible action that you would made to it.Loses is inevitable but your mind is telling you that you should proceed and you might recover.

As we saw yesterday, someone coordinated a 20,000 BTC buy across 3 exchanges all at the same time.

Could you post a Screen Shot of this? This is the only time that I heard this kind of news.

5724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make profit from a dice game? Have any unique strategy? on: April 02, 2019, 11:51:35 PM
Truly, I'm also very new in gambling and I never play the dice game. Well, actually it is interesting to know and see the right strategy that may work on us. However, of course, I believe in practice makes perfect. SHould we practice more to develop our strategy? I think that playing it once or twice until 5 times maybe not enough to test our strategy. learning by doing, right?
It seems you do need to play dice even on demo version for you to find out on the things you are asking on here.Gambling do never counts hardwork.
Practice never makes perfect on gambling if you do talk about dice, but if you do mention about card and other strategy based games then it would be be an advantage.
Unique strategy doesnt exist because on gambling world, losing percentage is high compared to winning.
5725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profit or keep the position open? (Bitmex) on: April 02, 2019, 10:39:17 PM
Honestly, it is hard to tell something. But it might be able to get back to $4400, then I do not think it is gonna be any lower than that. Maybe we will wake up tomorrow with a higher price notification.
It might even go back to its previous levels of $4100  but i dont believe that it would go back lower once again with -$4000. Correction on $4400 is possible if we do try
to use up some support and resistance lines or simply TA's.
5726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: looking for people to test a gambling site on: April 02, 2019, 02:00:12 PM
Just noticed that it is javascript issue on my end, it works fine after I used my javascript repair tool.
I knew it because most of the other feedbacks, the site works well for them too and it's just you.
Its just fine on my side too i dont have any problems with javascript. About on the sites design its a little bit confusing yet log-in inputs are on the bottom before you would able to deposit.
It should be placed on common place like top right or top left just as usual.
5727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: April 01, 2019, 10:09:46 AM
Ofcourse but less than the luck that you need. When gambling in sports like tennis, you need to analyze and study both players and choose who will likely to win base on your analyze and with your luck
Working hard to analyze the two players might be worth it and can be seen after the match.

There's too many definition and meaning for the 'hard work' in gambling.

Hard work will pay off if you are also smart, hard work alone will not give you success in gambling.
We are spending time and effort on analyzing games but it has to be games that has no house edge, otherwise there's no success that we will achieve.
Its funny, what analysis do you do when gambling? in my opinion most of the game doesn't need analysis, all you need is great luck. what you analyze will not give any effect to change the possibility of winning or losing. gambling is not a job that requires an effort to profit
Analysis is only required when you are playing Poker/Card games and sports betting yet these things do really need it rather than on making bets blindly. You would really have the edge or possible increase of winning rate if you are fully aware on the team/player that you do bet on against into its opponent unlike on pure luck based games which doesn't really need at all that's why hard work wont really count on this one.
5728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just another gambling strategy! on: March 31, 2019, 03:33:00 PM
I guess you were just lucky by doing so but if you try it again i'm sure it won't work anymore.
Twisting your strategy may work for you but on the other gamblers, it's not even if you say it really works.
But if you tried it a hundred times and still effective i guess we will need to know where do you gamble. Grin
He maybe God damn lucky for winning too many times with that strategy applied but as you said it won't work for anyone else. There is really no strategy in gambling can make us to be win.
He's just being pumped up with that strategy and tried to share up the joy that he felt on using up that simple martingale with a little match of twist or switch places after some consecutive rolls.I have tested out lots of strategy when im dicing and i can really conclude that outcomes of each strategy would always matter with luck no matter what.
5729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you bet? on: March 31, 2019, 12:52:34 PM
I don't have a good way to bet under my sleeves but I usually bet all-in style. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but its all based on luck after all so doesn't makes me much angry when I lose. In middle I guess I made my own strategy and tried with faucet balance and it seemed to have worked for short-runs. IIRC I had my multiplier set to 5x and stake per bet to the minimum and at loss 2x and reset on win.(worked like a charm for sometime until it ate my whole balance  Cheesy)
Im pretty sure that most of us experience this thing where we do create some settings or strategies on our own and finding it working for sometime and rely our entire balance on it and let the strategy run automatically. We are happy to see some progress which you do expect to see even more but in the end you would get shocked seeing some red streaks and a blown out balance. 5730  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bithumb Hacked on: March 31, 2019, 12:18:58 PM

This is the third time an exchange is hacked in two and a half months

Cryptopia exchange hacked
Another hack : Dragonex

I hope that with time people will understand that it must be a reflex to say to themselves that you shouldn't hold your coins with an exchange platform (or the minimum), these are incidents that happen too often to expose themselves to risk.
We keep on telling this thing all over the years but people dont really listen up and just cry when they already lost up money.I thought that these exchange hackings would lessen by as the years passed by but im wrong yet these situations can randomly happen. This might really be an inside job or connected to that lessening of workforce by -50% as a sort of vengeance  Cheesy
5731  Economy / Securities / Re: KYC Demands - How Safe are my Personal Details submitted? on: March 31, 2019, 11:15:13 AM
I am new to crypto guys. Some exchanges and high paying bounty sites are requiring KYC before you can claim your reward. What do you all advice?

I have recently been having some serious thoughts about the safety of my personal information supplied for KYC. Who else has ever thought about identity theft? Or am I the only one considering this? What if a scammer uses your details submitted for KYC to perpetrate some massive scam job and you are being hunted sooner or later for what you know nothing about? What's your say? 🏾‍

The first KYC I've participated in was over a year from one project, the project is now gone and I'm still wondering what happens to my vital information I've uploaded in their website, could be in the hands of a syndicate one of my friend told me that you can buy people's information by bulk in the dark web, so it is very risky to do KYC in ICO.

But my question is , is  the project scam ?  If they payed you then its not a scam and you shouldnt worry about your personal infos because they wont use it on other illegal purposes .  in my case i did not ever participated on a kyc oriented projects because i dont have the required i.d but im not afraid to give my personal info as long as  the project is legit  .  you should also do because i notice that all kyc related projects do pays big compare to non kyc projects  , most of them are also verified and seem to be legit
In the sense that they had paid you out then it isnt a scam but you wont even know on where those personal info's being stored thats why its still not sure that you are completely safe with identity fraud.
Where you do get that projects that do have kyc pays better compared to those who dont ask? Theres no assurance regarding on that IMHO.
5732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can someone explain the trend of bitcoin casinos creating altcoins ? on: March 31, 2019, 10:45:13 AM
It can give benefits but the few ICOs with good intents wont hold up against the profit only ICOs may it be gambling or lets say a game token.
The old fashion invest btc is still the way to go if you trust the owner of the casino with your crypto.
Those are just temporal as i say.We have seen some ICO's that do based on on developing an online casino and making their own tokens but look at them now? If they didnt failed then they are less popular compared to those who do just solely accept bitcoin and top altcoins in the market. This is why i dont see the trend or casinos that do focus out with their alts if they do want to gain traction into the market.
5733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling responsibly, is it possible or myth? on: March 30, 2019, 11:53:28 PM
I think every gamblers should really take their own responsibility and limitations because gambling has a lot of consequences that you will meet in every bet that you will do, that is why you should always be careful in your every decision and always have a self-control when you gamble. Being responsible in gambling is not that hard, as long you don't gamble to gain more profit because these is the reason why people get addicted and being greedy to it from earning easy money. Gambling is really an entertainment and for pastime, that is why always think in your every bet.
This is a very shitty way to advertise for your casino by hiding links on the post  Undecided. It is very easy to tell to have "self control", but in reality it is actually quite hard to have that self control when gambling. It is not always about "not gambling for more profit'. There are people who also keep gambling to chase their losses too! This is where they start deviating from their goals and ends up either being a gambling addict or extremely poor.
If you think gambling is only for entertainment and passing your time, then just gamble with fake virtual currencies!

Was suppose to say the same thing too about inserting that shitty gambling link  Grin
This is why we do see that gambling is a profitable business because the cycle of chasing losses is there always. Being addicted to gambling is the result of having no self control or self awareness. Before doing any gambling be sure that you do always limit yourself and dont go overboard.
5734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should humans be free agents in the gambling world? on: March 30, 2019, 11:22:28 PM
Gambling do have already been separated when cryptocurrency is created. It did make up a new option or way to gamble without being controlled or following up some rules. Freedom is good but have some rules to follow isnt bad at all. Addiction do exist on both field free or regulated, all outcomes will depend on how you handle yourself with gambling.

5736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do none of you feel guilty? on: March 30, 2019, 08:47:17 PM
Shilling for casinos, encouraging people to gamble away their savings. SCUMBAGS.

Did you lose your life savings because of gambling? Why do you hate the ones advertising casinos?

No one is forcing anyone to gamble their life away. It is their lack of self-control, discipline, and greed that made them lose their money. Not us.
Most probably the case on which he do lose up bigtime with gambling where coming to a point on hating those people whom do advertise them. This might the thing that do happen to him, being caught or convinced out to play on online casino due to advertisement and when he lose up he do blame on the one who advertise it which is totally non-sense because he havent being forced or dragged out to play. Its just his own decision or will
to play.
5737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: March 30, 2019, 08:32:15 PM
Yes, gambling can make man destitute at any time. Gambling is just for fun only. Gambling is not a way to make money. I know many people play gambling to earn money. But it should not be done at all. Gambling will have to play for fun. Humor pressure can never be taken if you lose in gambling. Remember gambling is just a simple game that is fun to play. Never invest more money in gambling. If you invest a lot more in gambling then you can be destitute.

Thank you

Gambling will be very comfortable to play when we have a goal to get pleasure. When someone is aiming for profit then it is a mistake. I spend hundreds of USD every month playing gambling and I feel comfortable, because my goal is to get entertainment. Unlike when someone aims to make a profit, they will only get pressure in his life. Believe that gambling will be very fun when played correctly.
I am really surprised with your statement that you are spending hundreds on gambling for pleasure and still are happy with it. That’s great. You must be lucky in this regard because mostly people who even start with good wish to have fun only, are trapped in addiction just right after their first win. They think of such big number of dollars coming from one game so they start playing next and then next and comes out with empty pockets.
Common situation that do happen on each gambler. We might see some winners but the number of lossers is more than for those people who smile because they have profited out while they play.
First winnings can really trigger out addiction IMHO. You believe or put up on your mind that gambling is way too easy to make rich and if you do have this kind of mindset then expect for possible addiction which
would lead on being wrecked.
5738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: March 30, 2019, 11:09:26 AM
Does anyone know at least one successful trader? friend or relative who earns money from cryptotrading? be honest
They are out there but they do not have any necessity to prove themselves to anyone else, after all if you were a successful trader would you tell everyone on the Internet how much money are you making? You will only make yourself a target for hackers and that is never a good thing, so is likely that there are many successful traders in the forum but they are not bringing attention to themselves out of fear or just because they like to keep their privacy.

Yeah there's no logic to why people would brag their successful trades unless they're with other friends who are trading as well. And with the number of traders in this market, of course there are a lot of successful ones. I can say i'm a pretty decent trader myself and i don't have to prove that to anybody.
Each trader do have different level of skills when it comes to trading and i dont see a point why you would need to prove something to anybody. As long you are profiting and do sustain with this very fierce competition
of this very trading market then you are on the good side no matter what. Avoiding or being scared would just block you to learn how to trade. It do just matter of trial and error.
5739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Game Profitable strategy on: March 29, 2019, 10:55:57 PM
If you have a great Dice Game Profitable strategy, then use it, I doubt you will find anybody who will pay money, so they can learn about your idea.

For me, casinos games are pure entertainment I have some fun moments when I play. For me, it's all about luck, somedays I win some, other days I lose some.
A must thing to have in mind anytime when we do play dice on where we should not think about profiting games but rather enjoying on the best we do made.Stop when you lost and call it a day but most people do strive
or force out to play even more just to recover losses. There are thousands of possible dice game strategy but none of them would work for long runs.If you are lucky enough even a single bet with 2x payout will already be considered profitable.

i can not recommand to invest here XD
I made 2 investmenst and both are now at zero  .... -100% ROI Cheesy
Is it possible that these investmens gain again profit if the bankroll makes profit  or is this gone ?

regards

Well, you are not alone =D
I got same question too Smiley

Sorry but gambling investments are always risky if someone starts auto bet with a strategy that makes possible to lose 1000 times he can earn a decent income. You were able to divest anytime if you are noticing a smart gambler. And yeah, we had 2 of them who bet 24/7. As casino I can't do much against smart gamblers but thats the business.... As long you do not divest you can earn your Investment back. The BR should be filled in the next days, I will personally e-mailing you then. Thank you.
no its not possible to earn back be course i have 0 satohsi share of the bankroll.
With a 0 % share i cant make any profits ?

And maybe set a normla time for the chat ban ?
Your account has been restricted from using chat. The limitation would be lifted from your account in about 6943 day(s).
6943 days is a huge time Cheesy

regards
If your invested amount goes to -100% in a short span of time then this proves out that this gambling site doesnt really have bankroll at all and i cant even believe that -100% deduction or all lost would be that fast.
The reply of Bitroll is way too unprofessional which even you have lost about 60k satoshi but this is already enough to confirm that we should stay away with this site.
