5722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: February 08, 2019, 08:43:16 AM
None of the reputed websites like cloudbet, anonbet, sportsbet, etc.* did anything like that in the past with their customers.
--snip--

* - used those names as an example.

On a quick note, I'd like to alert all users on cloudbet's current case where they've been accused of not paying BTC330 to the user who deposited about ~BTC130 (round figure) and then got their account closed for no reason by cloudbet. Investigation in this matter is being carried on here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5106313.0

Why I posted this?
In no means, I'm degrading the values and morale of cloudbet, but I just wanted to take my words back and let the users know that they are at risk even while gambling at the most reputed and trusted gambling sites on the planet. Doing your due diligence is needed before using these sites with huge bankroll.
Twice in a row this month so far if I'm not mistaken.  Roll Eyes
I guess they were able to resolved the first one since it's a brand new negative trust on their profile, hopefully they
can still solve this too, but until that happens, it's best to stay away from them.
5723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: February 08, 2019, 08:30:57 AM
If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?
I definitely gamble because there are lot of illegal things to be accepted by the people to use and also the Government support the illegal business is also but krypton gambling is not as like to the illegal business so I definitely use gambling and make profit from that.

Yes, I still gamble too and so far, I don't have any problem because I use VPN to hide Grin
I am very lucky to know cryptocurrency because I can use coins to gamble and I don't have to use fiat, and that is one of the advantages of cryptocurrency. I think many people will love to use crypto for gambling because they can feel playing gambling like other people. And gambling will be one of many ways for people to know about crypto and it will help crypto to be spread among them.

You are talking online gambling . sure you can use vpn to bypass site restrictions but what if gambling is illegal or banned in your country ( offline )  .

how can you will be able to play then ?  underground ?  Thats risky because if ever someone caught you , you will find yourself inside the jail or worst you will killed instantly because you are already been warned   .

Follow the rules so that you can enjoy your life a little longer .
It's a bad choice if you will still pursue gambling offline knowing that it's illegal.
I guess online gambling offers more entertainment than in offline gambling, usually when your government bans gambling, that goes
for both online and offline, and if you can use VPN to by pass that, then you should not look for more.

~snip~
That's alright mate, at least you tried and admire your idea of wanting to be profitable in sports gambling.
It's not a easy task as even picking lower odds which we think has a high chance of winning, could also loss, I suggest you do one bet per day
so you'll be able to analyze a certain match up well, take it from this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091185.new#new
Ok there is another topic of recording bet log. So I assume OP was inspired by that user. On this one OP really started with very little investment which I suggested to give it a go with a decent amount of money. Also OP needs to do his homework before placing a bet.

By the way, I am just curious if big_daddy has anymore plan to start over again? Or he is done?
He does not loss a lot and I believe it's just right considering is not that consistent in gambling yet.
In sports betting, we also do have a chance, starting with a little amount will make you expose in small risk, there's no stopping
us if we really want to improve as the best teacher is our own experience.

Hope OP will consider starting again.
5725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRST] WeTrust - For the People, By the People! on: February 08, 2019, 07:23:22 AM
is this a masternode coin ?

No is not, since TRST is an ERC20 token. But..

The team is working on a staking mechanism to allow TRST token holders to participate in Spring they said in here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1773367.msg49247129#msg49247129
This could be a great progress as if they will not choose to change, they cannot expect a growth.
It has lost its value a lot, and what we are seeing now in the market is not that accurate as it's lost its liquidity also.
5726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 08, 2019, 06:57:12 AM
Tomorrow's game -  Bucks -8 vs Dallas Mavericks +8

While I'm hot, I would also like to ride with the team that is hot right now, and that is the Bucks, they are dominating their opponent
and though this game is another road game for the Bucks, I think they can still get this done easily.

Dallas Mavericks has no improvement so far as KP is still recovering, the current line up is weaker compared to the line up prior to the trade.
Their lack of presence inside is going to be their weakness and bucks will take advantage on that.

Pick - Bucks -8

It could be some home run again for Bucks, they'll have that advantage to take the balls under control. They'll shown it already and having a wins of 40 and leading in the east, its not a joke anymore. They'll surely win the game tomorrow.

They could, there's a high probability, but it's 50/50 that they'll cover the point spread of -8.

We look for another big game  for Lakers and Celtics today. Looking at their score, they are very closed and we can't tell who's gonna win this as we are in the 3rd quarter of the game.  Both have a competitive team, they are surely eager to win.

@stadus who's your bet?

He only post in 1 game and that is with high value, so it's not necessary for him to give his comment on that.
You see, the game was close and ended up as Lakers upset the Home team, what I observed is that OP usually bet on favorites, so he could
loss in this one if he choose this match up.
5727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Delayed "Exit Process" of Failed ICOs on: February 08, 2019, 06:21:21 AM
LOL, this is funny, looks like you are already familiar with the excuses of bad project in crypto.
Well, I guess sometimes admin get irritated because people are not reading, they keep asking the same question over and over.

The "when exchange?" thing is familiar, some would also say, "when moon?" of "when dump"?
5728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: February 07, 2019, 03:58:55 AM
become a bounty hunter for this time is indeed must be full of patience. prices continue to fall making the results that could be accepted by the bounty hunter is not even enough to cover the cost of the transaction. the spirit you give is good enough and it must be necessary for being a bounty hunter does not become an easy thing.
It's hard to rely on bounty hunting only, it's not as profitable as before, so we need to find a stable source of income
and just do bounty hunting for fun now. Trading is also hard as of this time since market is bearish, you might gain but with a little
percentage only and you need to have a decent capital.
5729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 07, 2019, 03:39:30 AM
Very good, after a loss yesterday, OP did bounce back with this great easy pick.
it was a high scoring game indeed and the Bucks are shooting 65.5% in 3 point line.
3rd quarter was scary because the wizards was on a big rally and able to bring it a single digit game,
but the 4th prove they are better with starters playing hard.

129 - 148 Final - 19 points differential, easy win.
5730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: February 07, 2019, 01:36:12 AM
I think this is a very interesting and promising coin. This coin is often compared to Ether. I believe that someday it will become very popular.
At this point of time I believe it's already popular.
Getting listed in the top 100 in coinmarketcap showed its gain popularity already, and waves standing now is in top 22.

5731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO Dying ? on: February 07, 2019, 01:16:09 AM
I am Bounty  Hunter and For past one Month  i have notice something which is beyond my thinking .. I have been participating any many bounty  but right what i notice is that  ICO  project is really straggle to reach  soft-cap  whilst STO  are reaching hard cap . Are people forgetting about ICO and Moving Into STO ?
For now it's bad but it's not dying, wait for the right time, ICO are still here and some are still running it
because they know there are still people in the space who are willing to invest.
It may not reach the hard cap or the price may fall after listing, but that's alright as it's normal, you have to wait a little more time.
5732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 07, 2019, 01:01:15 AM
I'm out in the calendar but I did not witness how good Carter during his prime, I'm not a big fan of NBA that time and I only knew them
in news but not really watching a lot. I just started watching NBA regularly like 8 years ago and I believe Carters best moments was with Toronto Raptors.
You can watch those highlights on youtube and see on how Vince Carter moves inside the ring. He's a bit old now and he doesn't have the mainstage that was given to him during his glory days. You're still in the good time to see those highlights.

You may watch this: Vince Carter Top100 Dunks of All-Time
Thanks for sharing, I've seen some of his highlights but it would be more entertaining if I was able to witness his greatness during his time.

The lakers chemistry must be horrible right now, half the players know they can end up being traded and Lebron already wants Luke Walton gone.  This doesn't surprise me, Lebron always calls the shots no matter what team he goes to.

Yes, they're in a messed right now, specially those young guys hearing trade talks going around behind. There are even reports that Javale and Luke was going at it in the locker room. This is the worst of Lebron's career, a 42 point loss.

They should not act like that, they need to be professional, the more they will be traded if they will not play their best.
Even if they get traded, there's still a chance they will improve because Lebron is known to be a bad teammate since most of the plays are design for him.
5733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 07, 2019, 12:57:22 AM
Uh oh, yep it's okay to lose 1 game guys. Let's get back in action again and I'm going to ride this bet, I'd bet again with Bucks since they were also the one that made me win after you get to suggest that pick. Let's go!

Pick - BUCKS -11.5
Giannis our boy won't let us lose!
Hoping we will have this win tonight, only brave guys will take that -11.5 bucks against an average team.
They are playing at home and bucks dominated them in their last game with a double digit win, so I think it will have better result tonight.
5734  Economy / Economics / Re: CryptoCurrencies around the GLOBE on: February 06, 2019, 01:20:36 PM
I agree with your submission that cryptocurrency is getting more popular by the day.
People are beginning to get anxious and are asking questions like: what is bitcoin?
Coming to adoption, I think the adoption rate could be triggered when people can be able to use cryptocurrency as a means of payment for goods and services.
It's the first stage,  but once the government will fully regulate the crypto world, there will be a big positive effect.
This people who know bitcoin before will be then confident to adopt, actually in the minds of some, bitcoin is use for dirty transaction
but with government regulation they will know it's use more on legit transactions and they have assurance coming from the government.
5735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have a reason to stay? on: February 06, 2019, 01:10:59 PM
I have reason why stay at bitcoin because always trust one day bitcoin will back to higher price, every time bitcoin and altcoin at lower price but I sure bitcoin become at higher price and have expensive than older bitcoin price.
It will be expensive if we will break the all time high again.
Now, I'm not expecting that since we are in a condition where people slowly losing their interest.
Maybe the time will come but it's not gonna be like in the past where BTC easily recovers after a dump.
Now, since we're from ATH, recovering is not fast but slowly.
5736  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [2019-02-06] Locked bitcoins in QuadrigaCX might be another exit scam. on: February 06, 2019, 01:01:19 PM
I'm not familiar with QuadrigaCX until it was on the news with  some bad exposee that the owner was totally dead.
Me either, because it's not popular in the forum, most people are using the top volume exchanges.

I don't have 100% source that the owner is totally dead. I have read some comments that it truly might be an exit scam and they haven't  shown an actual proof that guy was caught dead.
It should be a big explaining to do by the team if the founder is not really dead.
And I don't think they will risk themselves covering this possible crime and face jail time in the future, and when the address
can be identified, I think anyone can monitor that and if there's any movement, it could make them liable.

I hope that this case wouldn't be the same as Mt.Gox. It's a lot of money that they have locked and why on Earth they didn't used multisig wallet?

Now, it's not a lot compared to the past scams as this market had experience some significant growth.
5737  Economy / Exchanges / Re: $145 Mln Goes Missing After Death Of QuadrigaCX Founder on: February 06, 2019, 12:50:37 PM

You are right, OP better lock this thread, and proceed the discussion to a more detailed thread by bbc.reporter.
I hope it's fine with him since you created this first but the other thread has gain more comments.
5738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 06, 2019, 12:40:28 PM
The predicted long slide has begun.
Begun or over?
I'd say over, because I'm not seeing the price going down $100 although price is stuck on a little (up/down) - no significant move as of the moment.

Don't listen to bull market talk. They want your money to hold the price...
They inspired us, why not? I'm holding ETH since the value was over $1,000 and I don't think I have to give up now.
5739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 06, 2019, 12:35:26 PM
I tried to google it but all of those articles and videos were outdated. One of the best crossovers and plays on the NBA history came from him together with Allen Iverson.
Even though I am not yet born when Carter and T-Mac are on its own primes I'm still amazed with their excellent performance during their times. One of the memorable plays of Carter that I can't forget (I alwayd watch gameplay highlights in youtube) is that when he dunk against a very tall player which come from a European team I think. On the other hand, T-Mac also got a good ball handling skills but for me Iverson was better because he can do acrobatic skills in the air unlike him Smiley.
Carter as been known for those type of plays. He's like the skywalker during his prime and that's why many idolized him as he is. I don't want to compare Allen to T-Mac because for me they were both good players and highly skilled.

Wow, I must have been really old, Lol.
Not just you but also me though I can still see my age on the calendar.
I'm out in the calendar but I did not witness how good Carter during his prime, I'm not a big fan of NBA that time and I only knew them
in news but not really watching a lot. I just started watching NBA regularly like 8 years ago and I believe Carters best moments was with Toronto Raptors.
5740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: February 06, 2019, 05:37:19 AM
We used different deposit methods and there was a lot of fees in the past. What is the link between crypto moneys use and online gambling?
To some other people in some part of world, crypto currency has made easy for them to participate in gambling activities reason been that, crypto currency is universally acceptable and there is no stress for one to convert his or her local currency to the one acceptable by the gambling site before one can participate in gambling.
That's true, the easier the riskier, because when easy we normally gamble regularly as long as we have a lot of time to spend.
Everyone aim for winning, hence that would increase their money, however, gambling is not easier as we think, it's been existing to make profit not to give money.
