How do you control a decentralized network that are running on 1000's of computers in different countries? If the government somehow takes control over the development and people know about this, then they will simply not run the government code on their computers or they will hardfork and create their own coin. We could even move over to a Alt coin like LiteCoin, if they sabotage Bitcoin. Crypto Currencies are here to stay, if they want it or not. ^hmmmmmmm^
If they ban it, we will go underground with it. ^smile^

if you think that bitcoin is your main job i guess that would be a boring job. i read an article about a workers from a bitcoin mining firms from china they said that working in a bitcoin mining industry is seem like a boring job 'coz you are just sitting there all the time and just watching and listening the whining noise of the bitcoin miners. i suggest that looking for an alternative or additional jobs besides bitcoin to accept new challenges at work.
I think bitcoin job is not boring! you just find alternative way to enjoy your job. As long as you have bitcoin earning and you can enjoy that earning by food trip or even travel abroad. I also want to quit my job and focus on bitcoin because it is good source of money now. |

in my opinion it is depends on how people beliefs on that segwit thing but me to be asure i like to withdraw some for security purposes & leave behind others btc in my wallet & wait until segwit end.
If you got a lot of investment in BTC then you can do that but if you got the only couple of bitcoins then no need to go for it. Just hold on to it because sometimes you may not get a chance to buy again at lower prices for a long time. After all these issues sorted out then Bitcoin prices and other good altcoins prices will rise a lot so just hold on to it. Yes that's true! you should hold your bitcoin earning for a long term investment and cash-out only what you need if it is needed, because bitcoin is worth of investment. |

I was aware about of this segwit situation 2 month before that is why I was trading very less and most of my money I kept in BTC and now I am starting to buy Altcoins now and will buy more at dips.
I also hold my bitcoin now and also I buy alt-coins at low price because they are now dumping and this is the right time to buy those alt-coins. |
