^  What do you mean by veto?  If vote against the scrapping of the season then yup.  But if you're saying they'll be for the scrapping of the 2019/20 season...  Nope.  They'll gain absolutely nothing out of it.
5742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 14, 2020, 02:01:59 PM

^  Liverpool practically has the title so personally I think there's no use chanting about it.  But will sure make fun about it if given the right reason to do so.  Grin

And it would be stupid to scratch the season with over a third over and done with.  Just give them the trophy and move on imho.

Guys...  It's just me and LTU_btc at the F1 pool.  I know the race is postponed this weekend (and more coming) but it would be nice if the regs itt join up too.  Smiley

To join:  https://www.superbru.com/f1/pool.php?p=12232182

Download Superbru app and search for the pool with code:  betsbuck

Here's the thing...  I'll donate a prize for the winner of the F1 pool if I win the EPL pool and if more people join up (I'll let LTU_btc hold the prize).

I think we are heading towards stopping all major sports leagues in Europe for few months. <...>
Totally.

Now my question is: if the PL is suspended indefinitely in the upcoming days, what will happen to our pool?

I guess that mostly depends on what happens with PL. If they just have a break no matter how long and than continue with the season I see no reason to do anything with our pool.

In case this season of PL is finished than we have to make a decision. I hope it will not come to that but there was some talks in Germany already to finish the season and just award European places as per current ranking. Serie A is talking about possibility of some playoff.

If worst happens we can just scratch this season and use the money as entry fee for next season or pay out the rewards as per current ranking. I have a feeling something between those 2 options would be fair option but that complicates things.

Half way thru the season, sure...  We can scratch this year's pool.  But with over a third into it?  Don't think so...  And I'm not just saying that cos I'm leading the pool.  It's obviously unfair.

But ok...  I'll agree to scratch the year's pool only if the FA declares no winning club and scratches the season's EPL.

That to me would be fair.

^  USD hyperinflation?  I don't think it will get to that point tbh.  I think it would've happened already if it was close to the realm of possibility.
5747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 12, 2020, 02:55:07 PM
^  Won't be long til the rest follow.  Maybe not in this race but in some of the races that could get a lot of the fans infected.

Stay safe, everybody.
5748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 12, 2020, 01:43:05 PM
The Man City vs Arsenal game was only called off as a precaution, I don’t think we’re going to see big panic & multiple games called off.

I think we will.  I think the FA could even suspend the season for a couple of weeks or so.  Ligue 1 could be the next one suspended after Serie A imo.
5749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 12, 2020, 01:38:07 PM
It seems also the next GP of MotoGp will be delayed, is too soon to have an official statment but this is the direction.

Austion GP will be postponed TBA.

A lot of racing events are being postponed but so far I haven’t heard a postpone notice for the F1 race in Australia this weekend.I was browsing Instagram and saw a lot of teams being prepared for this weekend which is the first race of 2020.I hope it rolls out as planned and I hope it is not cancelled because of Corona virus.

Yup same.  But safety should always come first.  I mean if they gotta postpone or maybe even cancel some races then so be it.  Pretty sure opening races at and near Asia would be cancelled.

Anyone have any luck with MajesticSeven? I hate that I can only do 2 in the last week,,, some old picks returned to score but I chose other people (like I should have stuck with Mane, and Giroud, and Sharp) and I would have had 5! So annoying;)

Champions League back so let us see if anyone had a good streak now that 8 games are on the way:)

Some of the guys out there are doing excellent job of nailing literally every single game.

As a matter of fact, tons of free bets are up for grabs... but don't forget about the grand prize of 10 BTC.  👏

I think leea was reffering to the regular Jackmate's Majestic 7 and not the Invincible promotion , though it's nice to hear people are having a good run on the Invincible promotion , means we have guys that are currently on 8 out of 8 correct guesses for it ? That's pretty awesome , I'm quite sure Napoli's draw against Barcelona broke some nice streaks for many people Smiley.

Unfortunately, it did. 😭

Hah!  I think the Valencia vs Atalanta result broke lots of streaks too.  Anyway...  Brilliant game guys.  I hope both the Majestic 7 and Invincible becomes a regular thing at FJ.  Both are really fun.

This guy (Kevin Lee) could be one of the most improved fighters in the UFC in the coming years.  He's athletic af and has started training at Tristar under Firas Zahabi during the match below...  Enjoy!  Wink

^  Wtf is going on?!?  And just saw that Italian league has been cancelled at the Serie A thread.  I didn't take all the news about it seriously at first...  But do you guys think it's gonna be everywhere after a couple of months?  Should we start prepping?
5754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker talk - Specifically Hold'em - Hands and or strategy on: March 11, 2020, 12:30:28 PM
^  Hand 1, I'd bet close to pot on the turn and call it off.  All sets, two pair and prolly 76 raise that flop.  You block QJ so I wouldn't be worried much about that.

As played, your small bet on turn might have looked weak to him hence the raise.

On the river I think go for thin value.
5755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: March 11, 2020, 12:22:03 PM
^  Yup.  I pretty much lost interest in this pool.  Lol.  I don't think I could even get enough points to break thru the money spots anymore with a few games left going to the finals.
5756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 11, 2020, 12:16:55 PM
Hey, folks, new F1 season finally starts this weekend. In case if somebody want to make watching races more interesting, I made prediction pool for Bitcointalk members on Superbru. It's for free and just for fun, so anyone can join. You have to predict pole position, Top 3, 4-10 positions and fastest lap:
Join Bitcointalk, my F1 Predictor league on @Superbru! You can find my pool here:

https://www.superbru.com/f1/pool.php?p=12232182

or by downloading the Superbru app and searching for the pool with code: betsbuck

Nice idea.  And if it attracts more and more regs itt maybe we could start a real pool with real prizes on the line and make it even more fun.  Grin

It doesn't have to be a huge amount.  I wouldn't mind dropping 5 - 10 bucks.

^  Ofc!  The master never teaches every trick in the book.  Lol.  The great ones leave some secrets for themselves juuust in case.  Grin

Seriously tho..  Arsenal has a waaay worse squad compared to United.
5758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 10, 2020, 03:31:51 PM
^  Yup definitely.  Leipzig is going thru.  Spurs got key players injured and aren't looking like they were last season and the couple one before that under Poch.

I think they'll need a couple transfer windows to get themselves fighting for some silverware again imho.
5759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 10, 2020, 03:25:45 PM
Here's a hilarious one...  So you guys know Adesanya has been saying that Costa is some sort of idiot gorilla, right?  I think he called him something like 'Moronus Buffoonus'.  At first I was like 'wtf' til I saw this vid.

5760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: March 09, 2020, 02:32:44 PM
^  They could be without Alisson due to a hip injury (or something like it.  He wasn't at the match vs Bournemouth).  But I think they got enough to hold and win 2 - 0.  I mean it's at Anfield...

Edit:  Going to penalties would be fun tho.  Grin
