5741  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam or not? yearns.finance on: September 12, 2020, 12:52:57 PM
After the yfi all are seems suspicious already.

Agree because many people said YFI will beat Bitcoin in the future. I don't know why they can said like that, most of them only comparing with the price only [1]. Now
Im not against bitcoin but what yfi did is really an amazing process. Yield farming that actually let you earn is not bad. The problem lies are those copy cats assuming the same.

All of this works on the ethereum smart contract. Its not bad for people who do yield farming cause they actually earning profits with it than holding bitcoin? Maybe literally they are saying the idea is good for them. I noticed everyone dying hard to have that but I understand due to profit.
5742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Possible scam - YYFI Protocol on: September 12, 2020, 03:34:49 AM
I agree with sujonali1819! These information are still clean and no evidence were spotted. You can say this is a warning but this is an accusation without even suspicious activity aside from being new.

And also you have to explain why you are seeing this is a possible scam. I see you just posted some details of the project.
People posting without much details in accusation should be always be alerted. What if this one is real project? Its a shamed and being fud already right. A lot of people would see this, and if proven wrong OP will have to apologize indeed.

Defi projects have a lot of potential scam but make sure you are barking on the correct tree cause if not. This is bad OP.
5743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PayAccept don't pay anyone, another bad news for bounty hunters. on: September 12, 2020, 02:58:39 AM
If admin is having issues with the bounty manager and still want to pay the hunters then they should approach to the community or else they will keep blaming each other.
They did approached the hunters only on the telegram. I think they announced the process by filling up the forms. I guess everyone should follow this, since joining on the telegram is required on the bounty requirements. Now I see that the form is closed and strictly being imposed on the new telegram. Hunters should pay attention since there are quick decision happening sometime.

BM cant do anything yet they wont really receive the pay together with the bounty hunters if the project admins or owners itself did really intend not to pay on the first place.
I dont know about the case of the BM but he should be paid even his work isnt expected by the owner. But of course this doesnt mean hunters would not get paid. I followed their instruction as per their form. Filled up and waiting for next announcement. If they would not pay it, of course that comes the issue. But a project tied up with huge projects with digibyte, ferrum and confirmed listed on mid tier exchanges will not run away from this unless they wanted their reputation shattered in pieces.

Anyway, will update you guys here. Its still on process whether they will actually run or pay so better to stick for those who joined. What I dont like is their way of closing early the form for receiving payment since some hunters( who dont pay attention on social group) are left hanging and shocked ops its closed.
5744  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: List of Threads to Earn Legit Merit on: September 11, 2020, 10:52:26 AM
This forum is not about creating posts of how to earn merit, it is becoming too obvious, this thread should be locked because it can not have any meaning posts. Please, lock this thread.
Im not against your idea, but I simply think he is only helping some other users to recognize thread that have merit giveaway or something that could earned merit. I know the topic is quite sensitive when it comes to merit and earning it shouldnt be discussed. He is just citing potential list which I think helpful to others. Anyway just my opinion, surely some have different view on this. By the way those topic are also interesting for some newbies.

If merits discussion isnt truly accepted then those on the links that giving merits must be locked too right?
5745  Economy / Speculation / Re: What If Bitcoin go the other way next year on: September 11, 2020, 09:02:22 AM
I don't want to sounds like a  pessimists, but what if next year Bitcoin shows a different direction like what if instead of going to surpass the all time high it did not
Then thats the path of bitcoin route. Bitcoin is still on sideways and experiencing a massive rally over the market. They should not expect that bitcoin will always have a good position and even beat the previous ATH. No one can predict its price so we should always be cautious of market movement.

If your goal is for long term then even it go down you wouldnt mind but if your a trader whose after profits learn to understand and check the technicals of market trading.
5746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You think about YFI ? on: September 11, 2020, 08:27:24 AM
A very interesting token, a small total supply, but the price has already increased very much, although this does not prevent it from making +30% per day.
The price is actually dumped now. It almost reached 40k and the highest ATH it does. What worries me is if the whales accumulate almost all of its supply. Probably the price could increase due to hoarding but guess what? Some tokens have low supply but sticking them on your wallet wouldnt let you earn passive income.

Thats what people like YFI cause its a new system of yield farming and many benefited from it. Aside from its value you earn from its protocol. Very nice introduction by Andre actually.
5747  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Yearn4finance - Plagiarized Whitepaper on: September 11, 2020, 05:01:41 AM
hi guys thank for the reviewing our project, now post in bitcointalk allready deleted. looking forward now we have change ou WP and mention that link as copy right. remember this is crypto space it mean open soure project.
Hello, the case would be like that if you did copied the content of your whitepaper. It sounded like your blaming the OP for reporting. If you want to launch a project make sure you are following the standard rule. This is unacceptable everybody knows that plagiarism is not accepted in any kind of excuse.

Open source project is quite okay but were talking about content grabbing here. No one will agree with you on this reasoning. Sorry even you created a new one it will be invalidated already.
5748  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Insensitivity in analyzing/reading scam/problem on: September 11, 2020, 03:26:25 AM
Sometime we thought that the person we are dealing with is trusted. Some have fake attitude and you only realize that when its too late and already fool you.

I think your friend is too complacent and think that everything is perfect.
Being observant is a must. Thats the problem on most people, they were relaxed when dealing with other people. Transaction must served always with cautious even the most reputable person could end up double crossing you.
5749  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: September 11, 2020, 02:37:45 AM
Thanks for the opportunity @zasad!

1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
I become interested in crypto when I discovered that we can earn money from it by doing some faucets and some other ways such as app giving off cryptocurrency as reward and many more. Of course I didnt know much about it but the idea of earning crypto and exchange it for real fiat was totally gave me a huge interest to learn more about it. Since then, I joined a lot of free airdrop and bounty giveaway and earned some cryptocurrency which feels good.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
Totally cant remember about this but since I was earning cryptocurrency from airdrops and bounty before. I have managed to buy some bitcoins and used it for trading purposes.

3. How did you get on the forum?
Through those cryptocurrency giveaway such as airdrop. Yeah my friend told me to register on forum and like he suggested I did. Then thats it. Joined some bounty, airdrop and etc. That was the beginning of my forum life. But I made a wrong start as Ive only see the forum before as some sort of job to earn crypto. I realized that recently when I decided to learn more and study rules and differemt stuff about forum.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
Fear, lack of knowledge and uncertainty. Why? Cause there are still dozen of people that afraid to embrace the innovation of blockchain and cryptocurrency. Government play the role as mediator for the crypto community and the outside world but they set a boundary by means of strict regulation and sometime fud that cryptocurrency is such as bullshit invention. Anyways, will eventually reach the point of greater adoption.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
Im not a regular gambler, but I do enjoyed some of the gambling site I played before such as roobet and fortunejack. I dont see any harm on the forum, as these gambling sites offered an actual application of cryptocurrency to the users who also love gambling. Negative side? Of course its gambling and it can swipe your crypto instantly. The benefit I am thinking is you can enjoy playing while using your crypto in such fashionable way.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
Basic knowledge is important especially when you are jumping to crypto investment. 2-3years of experience can make a person matured when it comes to investing. Losing is a very good teacher, like for me, I never repeat some of my obvious mistake when dealing with investment in crypto. Fomo, panic selling these are parameters you need to use well cause if not the market will drained your asset. I didnt received any special education to learn investing, but I do learned on my own how to prepare myself on investing.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
This topic is very common nowadays. But I will give my opinion about this. Actually, I hated the merit system before, cause I never got the chance to rank on full member when I only need is another week of activity. Talking about bad luck, then merit system happened. I was stucked I guess for 2years being a member rank. But later on I realized that what Im doing is not improving my stay on forum since I only used my account for earning crypto through bounty. So I learned and start from scratch, and some people recognized my effort to change that bounty life of mine and now Im a Hero rank and Im proud that I achieved this through forum contributions. Merit system is a good addition to the forum and I can see it how effectively improve the number of quality posters. Talking about signature, I cant say if its really does harm the forum but what does harm the forum is the scam projects that launches signature campaign.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
I think this one Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ once you read this, you can avoid so much you shouldnt do in forum.

Most helpful users? I guess too many to mentioned but I drop some of my favorite users whom always I saw actively helping some newbies especially on Beginners and Help section and some on technical discussion board.. LoyceV, filippone, tranthidung, Royse777 coolcryptovator, Vod, pooyah, and HCP, mocaccino, DmdrDmdr and many more.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
- Integration of additional rank above legendary.
- Additional coin accepted aside from bitcoin and grin for copper membership payment.
- Cant think of the third one.

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
I do both. Trading and investing are my cup of tea.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
Loses almost 4k USD on future trading but thats life (able to recover some though). Sometime it rewards your confidence and risk. Regarding profit well thats a secret.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
New, tempting, and cunning. Most of users have mixed opinion about this. But for me its not that bad. Defi ecosystem added a good figure on marketcap, but I cant deny that it becomes a hype that some scammers using now.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
For me yes. Its totally important especially in cryptocurrency. Only did few KYC on exchange, like Binance and some app I need for my withdrawals on our country.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
Not fond of reading cryptocurrency books. But I like to read crypto news on the internet.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
Polkadot - New ecosystem aside from ethereum network that could be a perfect rival to it.
Avalanche - Like the innovation of them.
Bitcoin- All time king

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
Based on its current price point. I think it can go at least 16k$

15. P.S. (Optional)
Always save some space for knowledge and grab it when opportunity comes.

Thanks again @zasad Ive enjoyed this interview.
5750  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Bella protocol on Uniswap. on: September 10, 2020, 08:05:44 AM
scammers offer their fake Bel token on Uniswap at a price of $0.0087, while the price of the initial placement on the Binance is $0.75. I am sure that many will be deceived by scammers who use hype around Launchpool on Binance.
From this, we can say already that this is totally faked. I wonder how many users have been fooled by the uniswap version. Damn that dex has been abused by a lot of scammers. I hope uniswap can make some restrictions or way to prevent scammers with this approach.

The reason why scammers in the crypto space exist is because they are still fooling somebody. It may not be now but you never know when you'll gonna see someone post scam stories here or on other platforms like reddit or twitter.
Actually some of those scammed people are not actually noob but they are just betting their way to earn profits on scam. They knew at the beginning that the project could be a scam but they often bet some money on it provided that a certain pump will happened due to hype.
5751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PayAccept don't pay anyone, another bad news for bounty hunters. on: September 10, 2020, 07:35:43 AM
Don't keep your hope on the project which are postponing the rewards with no perfect time frame is what I learned from the mistakes of bounty hunters.
I didnt expecting though even I submitted my content on their campaign. As I visited their telegram now they are closing in the forms for reporting the needed details for receiving funds. That was fast indeed. Now wait for the real distribution.

If this is true then I advice the project admin to create a thread regarding BM's action on Reputation section so community members can give the right solution to end the problem but it will be possible only if the admin is ready to pay the hunters.
Not a good option to do. For me let them settle first their own issue. Both parties will only cut the chase and keep babbling on one another. But who knows the right aide of the story? The only crucial here is the hunters who promoted are the one being pinned. I think the project admin hired the BM to do all forum related so thats why they cant do on their own.
5752  Other / Meta / Re: EXPRESS THOUGHTS ABOUT B&H AND RANK AND MERIT SYSTEM on: September 10, 2020, 07:10:46 AM
The transition of shitposting, copy and paste posts and bounty reports had minimized already. Seeing that joining bounty campaign does not really pay at all times then other bounty hunters strive to make a post to get merit to rank up.
Its a matter of choice actually. If a user tend to focus on joining campaign and make his profile like a report based encyclopedia with dozen of links. Whom can give him such merits if someone ought to review. Though the quality post he share should value more. But we cant deny that there are users here who checked profile before landing a merit on them.

In this post, I just wanted to express my thoughts regarding on rank and merit system and how effective it was and how it change a lot for the forum. I myself too wanted to rank up and this is why I had changed a little bit to earn merits but I am not begging in this posts just wanted to give feedback to management about the current system.
So what do you think of the system? At first it was little annoying on my part but of course not until I grasp thr process and later on it become a routine for me and that resulted to a good one. Keep it up, just do what you think is right but always observed rules imposed here on forum.
5753  Other / Meta / Re: Allow newbies with merit to post images on: September 10, 2020, 02:56:19 AM
1. Must earned at least 3 merit and have at least 15 activity (which means they must active at least for 2 weeks)
2. Must earned at least 6 merit

This is quite rare for a newbie to earn but its a good range or idea. But to be honest, I think if they are badly needed to post images, they could resort to mostly suggested here. Purchase copper membership, but having an option like this could somehow be beneficial to newbies who dont usually do services if they used newbie accounts. Typically these newbies buying the membership usually have business here but what you suggested is cool for average users who dont belong to this criteria.

Even so, only very few newbie (who're not spammer) who can enjoy the benefit.
Better termed is "rare" out of hundreds.

Have to sometimes think from a newbie's perspective too. If a simple thing such as posting an image is made too difficult, he/ she would not even want to hang around.

Its not that it makes it hard but a system could filter real deals on all newbies. Though the suggestion is very strict I think it helps on differentiating the true users from spammers.
5754  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you lost btc at some point of the time ? What is your story on: September 10, 2020, 02:16:39 AM
It is not new that we make mistakes here and there. The main cause of these mistakes is lack of knowledge. No matter how smart we are, there are always people that will try to trick us into getting us deceived.
When I was still new on crypto. I am vividly looking for a cool sideline online, I cant say I lose bitcoin but I wasted time on some crypto giveaway that isnt for real. There is a post Ive saw last week about that kind of scheme where you need to do captcha and complete a 40 referrals before getting rewards but to know its just a trick ath the end even not completed it. Totally wasted my time at all.

Most of my bitcoin loses came from investment. Before I was too scared to put up money on altcoin trading but Im starting to grasp the way to earn step by step.

5755  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: September 09, 2020, 11:19:52 AM
I think what the BestChange needs to amend in the rules is this one, make every participant post freely on the first page of the section regardless of the page count, but you have to have an examiner more likely a post examiner that will decide if one's post will count towards the week quota.
Its been a while since they implemented the 5 page rule about spam ans counted post. I know that everybody has their own reasoning and nobody is wrong here. But the only one who could feel the improvement regarding this rule is bestchange company itself. They know if the system favors the advertisement strategy since then. I assume its working but of course, as a participant of a paid signature, and a user dedicated on this forum who wanted to continue posting on mega thread with quality topics are not wrong. Thats why there is a 10% allowance given to us as approved by them when the rules are amend.

The improvement bestchange made probably working on their need here. Everybody will not be pleased by the news as some of us will be removed but for the benefit of the company they are doing all what they can suggest and improved.

Because I always remember what bestchange keeps reiterate about the ads. They dont want their signature to be swarming on old post which is reasonable. I do hope that best method can be implement for both parties that gives the benefit for everyone.
5756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Sushiswap ? on: September 09, 2020, 05:15:51 AM
So that was the reason why SUSHI is making a 100% return tonight. Binance got a bit lucky this time otherwise the backlash would have been huge IMO. If the FTX wouldn't have come to the rescue then the price would have kept dropping.
Yes. Actually Im really suprised why CZ list it I know business mattet but I thought they are fan of strict when it comes to developers. Like they review it first so incident like this with sushi will never happened again.

Why will cz be shamed? Do you think if the dev have not exit scam and sushi did not encounter this problem Binance will not miss out on the huge traffic generated by listing sushi just like cz pointed out! nobody can tell what is in an egg until it is broken.
The fact that without the issue out first, people got curious why sushi was the choice to be listed. As a crypto enthusiasts. You could see the need of a strict screening. Everybody knows how hard to get listed there until the defi hype rises. So, whats the real reason? I think I prefer mantradao or akropolis on the possible listing which has more potential. Not just only me have been shocked about sushi but a lot more.
5757  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Bella protocol on Uniswap. on: September 09, 2020, 04:52:25 AM
But its noticed that fake Bella protocol selling on the Uniswap exchange. Here is the exchange link: https://uniswap.info/token/0x52D111ba55f581635542c9a6533bD54a945E0ceA
This is to be expected. The launchpool was launched today and now there are fake bella token roaming around uniswap. I always noticed how those projects trying to camouflage on the actual project while still run.

I remember other projects which has a lot of uniswap pools and trading but the project even launched yet their own contract.

Scammers are definitely taking advantage of the upcoming Bella hype which will be traded on BSwap.
The only thing we can do is to dessiminate information but I believe only fools will be trick by these uniswap approach. Since bella did their pool on binance people already assume many fake ones entering majority of pump and dump group to shill this.
5758  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Invest for beginners on: September 08, 2020, 11:19:13 PM
I just started to invest money in crypto last month. What I invested is only famous cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, etherum and ripple.
Its fine actually. These three are on the top coin rankings. Actually nor any has assurance that can do good in the future. But based on investment for long term, these firms will be here and still be here for more years.

As said, 'it is not completely wrong' but it is unfair to say Ethereum is a scam and is created for scammers. Bad or good depends on how each person uses it.
I agree with you mate. Among the three choices, bitcoin is 100% the most decentralized in nature. It all depends on the user perspective.

Scammers maybe using ethereum due to its smart contract use case but removing those scam, I can say eth is not that bad though. Actually Im a trader and uses mainly eth due to tokens I liked under its wing.

But at the end of the day, its always us decide on our investment. Many dont like ripple concept indeed is not that great having huge chunk of premine. But lets be honest here we used it often due to its fast and low fee transaction on trading(traders). Id say Ive using it for that purpose and pretty much good compared to bitcoin on that category alone.
5759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: September 08, 2020, 03:27:02 AM
Thats fine if you had a crystal ball. Even the crash on 3k is so unexpected, I mean the market will crash due to the covid situation during that time but the rate of speed on how it goes down is really you know unbelievable. Its like it happened in a split seconds, you just wake up then its swimming now on reddish pool.

I also regret not selling all my valuable tokens last bull run and some become useless now due to my greed of maybe it would increase more. Lesson learned really happened in the end when its already too late.
5760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a good shape? on: September 08, 2020, 03:15:11 AM
Bitcoin is going down again
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

Probably will go under 10k$

It did went below 10k again but the support is strong above 10k price. So I assume it will be a good week and coming weeks since bitcoin show that the market is really claiming for another bull run season. Wish it could be true.

Correction that took more than 3 days?
and the price is going up and down in short period of time,i believe that there are some whales that making this movement to gather income.

Thats normal, correction doesnt end up on one day affair. The thing happened is normal and this is really a good rally pulling either we go on bear or bull situation. Whales normally tricking the market especially if they are using leverage trading.
