Perhaps a better way to have a debate would be a self moderated thread in which you are discussing a subject with one person and posts from anyone else is deleted. Although one could argue a PM conversation would be more appropriate— maybe not though because a PM conversation wouldn’t be public.
Taking this a step further... Perhaps what is really needed is a self-moderated thread that is actually created by a 3rd (hopefully independent) party. That way, neither party could accuse the other of censorship. So the rules would be something like: - Only Person X and Person Y are allowed to post - All posts by anyone else will be deleted - No posts by either Person X or Person Y will be deleted The obvious flaw in this extremely cunning plan... is finding a neutral referee to create and moderate the thread appropriately. With the price of Bitcoins on the rise, it's timely to remind people that they can view the current trend of prices to confirm transactions here: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/, the suggestions have always been terrible because they inflate the fees for some reason and currently the suggested fee is pure bullshit. https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ is currently suggesting 160 satoshis/byte for "fastest and cheapest transaction fee"

but analyzing the mempool (which is what i recommend) suggests that paying 20 satoshi/byte will give you the "fastest and cheapest transaction fee" and if you wanted a better guarantee you can pay 30 which is A LOT smaller than your website's suggestion.this is the best website you can use:

and here is how it works. you look at the chart called Mempool size in MB because the size matters not the count. then move your mouse over the last part on the right which is the current state and look at the numbers. bitcoin block size these days are around 1.2 MB so you want to pay a fee around that size, basically anything above 1 MB. currently it shows that about 1.043 MB transactions are paying fees equal to and bigger than 30 so paying anything above 30 is an overkill.
