One question: When did you receive your miners? Recently? Months ago?

Query: Can this work with any miner using cgminer or is it Ants only? Specifically interested for miners using the A1 chip.

In plainer words, an image is a snapshot of a systems storage media be it a hard disk, ssd, floppy disk, or in this case an SD card. 2 variants of an image are possible: a logical image which is compressed and a raw bit-for-bit image. A logical image is not easily used as evidence as it is only the currently used/accessible files. Much like a zip file. Either type of image can be applied to storage media to make a working copy of the original.

A raw image is legally admissible evidence IF it is done by legally recognized/bonded/whatever people/companies. It is a true 1:1 every-single-physical-bit copy of the drive - including to a fair extent much of the data that has been 'erased' at one time making it suitable for forensics to see exactly what is/was on the storage device.

Polite and to-the point email sent to the Sales email addy regarding the missing PSU. Even mentions the direct pm I had with him on it Friday the 22nd as well as the 23rd and the 24th. per Josh the PSU being shipped Next-Day on Monday the 25th.

Still not here obviously.
Also not NDA material. Purely my customer relations regarding an order placed long before that association began.

Got to say that AS A CUSTOMER my full agreement there.
Hell I would have been one of the easier ones to fulfill the order AND get some of the MPP. Order was for a single 520, oops only going to make 1th and higher so 520 folks get 2x more speed, much better designed and produced boards, decent overall layout. Fair enough.

Got the rig, looks nice. Well packed with no damage and no um, unusual ballast. Nice touch with the heatsinks that are ribbed for our pleasure Seriously, makes a huge difference in aiding heat removal. Loud and that's easily fixed so rather nice job. Aside from the missing psu of course... PC-style ones with 5x 8-pin CPU power plugs are not exactly common as you are aware of. Would be shame to have to slave one of my favorite hp common slot psu's to the Lepa. Handy things and are great for feeding Ants as well of course. Anywho, obviously from a legal standpoint my order has not yet been fulfilled.

I've reviewed my pm's with him and ~95% of them are purely technical IP wholly unrelated to the running of AMT or dealing with customers. The remaining 5% or so is just general conversation on the A1 debacle. As such the pm's cannot and will not be Public information, I've nothing to add.

As a customer however... Ja, got a 1th miner - sans psu - have 2 cards hooked to a Lepa supply I have and running Opieum's image they work fine with no muss or fuss. Now just need the right psu to power all 5....

No hiding. Just a matter of making it clear why I cannot comment much on this matter while meeting legal and Professional obligations of contractual agreement. I know, it is a very foreign concept in the BTC world My views as a customer on AMT's business practices are clear and made known, as a consultant what cannot be Publicly released can always be legally deposed if needed.

That's one of the sad things about this. Those miners look solid. With those turbo fans loud as well but solid. Someone *did* listen to advice and found folks in China to do it right. Still need a tweak here and there but - nice. Design lessons (failures) from the 1st public trials - including those direct from BitMine.ch of course were taken to heart I hope someone can pickup the ball on these.

And I might as well add that obviously under legal obligations set forth in NDA I cannot publicly confirm nor deny my participation in said chat room, nor can/will private pm's between me and Josh be publicly released. All dry technical stuff anyway...

My overall forensics role of v1-6 (more like 0.1-0.6) hash boards and eventual minor technical advice role to try and aid AMT's customers has been made clear numerous times in the Forum.

Very often Asian cardboard is mostly bamboo and rice straw based. No joke. If it has a yellowish tinge to it thass what it is. Und ja, makes for some tough stuff.

The hot melt on connectors a damn good touch - all our industrial PC's are like that. Keeps things where they should be. Maybe should have used some on the psu that wandered off

Will be interesting to see how mine looks when I get back. All my small s1's arrived with boxes near pristine aside from a scuff or 2 - rather odd as they would have made great FedEx footballs... -, 1 s2 banged around a fair bit but miner intact, all s3's looking a bit like I feel after these long trips but being built like tanks miners perfect.
