Can it be CSW, I figured no a while back, but just from the sv thread.

No that's right it's a Russian troll called korner. According to the Yank troll called nutildah. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211434.0

Ironically the Bitcoin SV account has no actual connection to Bitcoin SV. He knows fuck all about it, and is indeed a banned, multi-accounting troll. He also owns the Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Cash accounts but never uses them.

I learned this from my Russian sources, with whom I've been colluding behind the scenes.

Korner is a lot like Garry Kasparov: he plays 4D chess, trolls the government, and all the other Russians hate him.

Just in case someone hasn't seen it yet, I would like to apply for an exception to the memes only rule and post this glorious video of Trumps Performance with Megan Mullally at the 2006 Emmys.

That was more disturbing than any meme I've seen so far.
5743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] $TRUSD an elestic yet stable digital asset on: January 09, 2020, 05:28:00 AM
Oh brother. Do you have a fear of making new paragraphs or what?

Our business model isn't currently being practiced anywhere, so to say it is plagiarized is simply false. We differ from the major stable assets by taking a decentralized approach to stablecoins as we know it. The mistake I made was telling the group to use popular stable asset whitepapers as references to find ways to explain details.

If you differ from major stable assets why would you use their white papers to explain details of your project? Its not just the white paper, it was also your coin logo (recently changed), and name. You didn't know there was another Ethereum stablecoin called TrueUSD? Why make something that sounds so similar in name -- and then use a logo remarkably similar to theirs??

Additionally, the company that produced TrueUSD is called "TrustToken". You've basically ripped off TrueUSD in at least 4 different ways. The main difference is TrueUSD is regulated and backed by actual dollars whereas yours is unregulated and backed by nothing.

I never would have signed off on a plagiarized whitepaper by any means.

K, well, you did. You should have checked it for plagiarism. That's on you. It even says "written by Kalen Dangerfield" on the first page.

By your logic, all stablecoins are copying each other because they use the same business models, correct?

No, not correct. Most of the major stablecoins have different ways of arriving at what they do. Your coin is neither stable nor is it backed by anything, which indeed makes it unique in the field of stablecoins, yet the wording of your white paper still borrows heavily from those of pre-existing stablecoins.

I've taken a look at the smart contract for your token and it was made using an extremely simplistic ERC20 token generator. Therefore, the ability of your token to do what you say it does is 100% dependent on your word that you are going to do it. There's nothing advanced or interesting going on under the hood here -- its just another Ethereum token that was generated in 5 minutes.

I have better ways to spend my time then pretending to fool people.

We don't think that you do.

Many projects have the same problems. In the world of cryptocurrencies, it’s easy for words to sound similar unintentionally as well. I’m pleased to inform you that the necessary changes are being made. We are undergoing considerable growth as well.

The problem is that we've heard these excuses a million times before.

This site is already extremely toxic for new projects, so why play into it?

This site is like that for a reason: all scams fail and 95%+ of sincere projects also fail. Our combined experience tells us there's just no way that investing in this token is a good idea (I feel like I can safely speak for at least tmfp here) and we are here to point out the reasons why.

Capwearers be warned, BSV are calling you out as corrupt  Tongue

Full list of Corrupted Capwearers

Not a FULL list, I'm not there, and I'm feeling left out.

So now I've supported all flags against bsv and opposed those they mentioned.

I hope to make the list now.

If you capwearing gents have a fuck to spare, I also implore you to leave a comment in this thread:

Any comment will do; just don't mind when it gets deleted (as there is a great chance that it will).
5745  Economy / Reputation / Re: mosprognoz - Needs To Learn on: January 08, 2020, 04:20:51 PM
And this guy is on DT1 !!!!!
Utterly unbelievable.. What is this place coming to?
mosprognoz is a DT-troll. Beware of this scammer

Good job Eddie. These are the types that are coming to your aid.

Harassing him in shasan's loan thread was a low for you.

He's not perfect. Neither are you.

I don't remember why the beef started between you two, but I suggest both of you end it now.
5746  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 08, 2020, 06:35:10 AM
Check your trust page for inactive flags:

If you've sparred at all with korner (Bitcoin SV), he probably just left you 3 flags. Might want to oppose them, though its honestly not necessary.

No flags on El Duderino_ it would appear. That's a change I'm going to need some time to adjust to.
5747  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! on: January 08, 2020, 06:29:24 AM
Stupid Bitcoin SV even don't know how work flag system. It doesn't necessary to open multiple flags for same reason. You might open just single flag for single reason. Seems they have open multiple flags against me.

Here is flags: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1980983;page=iflags

Nobody ever tried to Flag me!
Leave a negative feedback to Bitcoin SV, then your dream will filled (IMO).

Opposed all of them, now waiting for the incoming red tags and flags - I wear them with proud, like the one from Hatch Support.

He just left 62 frivolous flags, most people got 3. They are flag #s 1137 - 1199. I opposed all of them.

Flag abusers are damaging their own credibility, so assuming the Trust system works how it should, they shouldn't ever reach DT.

This is just ridiculous, though.

Rikafip
I'm sure many of us have seen Rikafip helping out with hunting down alts and scammers.

Yes, he's also a good contender. Sometimes I wonder if newbies with special proclivities and know-how are alts, and then am reluctant to support their endeavors, but Rikafip seems like a genuine newcomer. He's asked me for my advice a time or two, which I don't think an alt would do.

Leave this bickering in another thread. You guys need to stop carrying it to every single thread.

I don't remember asking for your opinion on the matter.

Edit: if you don't think its worth talking about that Quickseller is using an alt to nominate himself for "newbie of the year," there's something wrong with you.
5750  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! on: January 07, 2020, 04:28:20 PM
Up to 8 flags against me now.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=317618;page=iflags

4 of them are from the same person...

At what point does flag abuse become ban-worthy? I guess never.
5751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 07, 2020, 04:01:14 PM
Westerns are shocked because it is cultural to have dogs, but really some pigs can be smarter than dogs (pigs are a very smart animal), yes most dog lovers will eat pigs.

I always thought the fact that we think it is ok to eat an animal as long as he is dumb, but not ok to eat a "smart" animal was very arbitrary and cruel.

You're right in that ultimately it is an arbitrary distinction. However, dogs are bred to be pets, whereas pigs and cows are bred to be meat. That's why there's hundreds of different variations of dogs and basically all pigs look the same. (Besides pot bellied pigs, remember them? They are cute.)

I hope in 20 or 30 years from now most people in Western civilized countries will no longer eat any meat. I am optimistic for that, mentalities are now slowly changing.

Yeah but bacon tastes good, pork chops taste good.

In addition, I think there's just too much proper protein in meat for it to be discarded completely. Can you imagine men who work manly jobs having to subsist on vegetarian diets? They can't. Lumberjacks, construction workers, carpenters, NFL & Rugby players, World's Strongest Man contenders... all eating beans and salad? I don't think so.

Office workers and Cricket players, on the other hand, sure why not.
5752  Economy / Reputation / Re: The many accounts of korner (Bitcoin SV) on: January 07, 2020, 03:48:03 PM
OK, so we have a banned user now claiming to be an nChain employee (for the second time):

Sorry, but my contract with nChain not expired.

I dunno, this guy purely exists to be disruptive here. He doesn't work for nChain as he knows almost nothing about Bitcoin or BSV. He just gets a kick out of trolling. There's a couple other members like that who exist and haven't been banned. Apparently the one thing they are good at is riding the line between what the mods consider trolling and not trolling, even though everybody else considers them to be a troll. Oh well. Just thought this thread could use a bump.

5754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: January 07, 2020, 03:02:48 PM
I enjoyed watching Mike Vrabel giving his ex-coach some of his own medicine. BB was furious on the sidelines and I was just waiting for him to knock that referee down Cheesy Pretty sure this loophole will be closed somehow in the near future, but there is always something to be learned when watching a NFL game. What I found a bit pathetic is BB being such a cry baby about it, because he was doing exactly the same to the Jets and taunting them with it.

Turned out to be a pretty smart move as it really messed with BB's head. You can see him saying "that's fuckin' bullshit!" two times at about this point in the first video:

https://youtu.be/CTsvc9pkZ04?t=97

Not like he wouldn't do anything under the sun that was possible without getting caught in order to give his team just the slightest advantage... but that's part of what makes him a great coach.

Odd that Brady's last throw of the season (and potentially career) was that Pick 6. The announcers were talking about how he wanted to play until he was 45, and he's 42 now (almost 43)... that he may go to the Chargers so he could live closer to his wife. Unlike what happened with Brett Farve, Brady doesn't seem to be showing many signs of slowing down. I mean, he acts a bit gingerly in the pocket, and a big hit in all the wrong places could end his career pretty fast these days, so whoever takes him will have to have a rock solid O line.

As for your analyses, its obvious you put some time and consideration into your picks so I am giving you a couple of merits for your troubles.

No matter how big the Vikings win was over the Saints, I still gotta stick with SF for their next game -- just not overcome-able in my mind. Perhaps they will beat the spread, but my bet is they will lose the game.

For the other games, to win, I like:

Ravens
Chiefs
Seahawks

No suggestions, but this thread is a probably a good place to find nominees: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5185736.0

The only name I recognise in post #1 is Ratimov who has started a Russian Language version of the Known Alts thread. (and Loycemobile who doesn't count - no offence LoyceV Wink )

I haven't interacted with him practically at all, so am hesitant to nominate him without support/seconder.

Indeed Ratimov registered this year. I am giving him my nomination. He's a real go-getter, and while I don't speak Russian, I value the contributions he's made in English (scam busting, identifying alts, etc).

I simply inquired if nominating yourself was allowed.  After you answered, i was going to nominate myself, but decided against it after some consideration.

I considered nominating myself to be a little too tacky for my taste.

Only a little? Why would you have even brought it up??

Jeez Louise. You should just be happy to be in a Hhampuz campaign man.
5756  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TrustUSD - misleading and full of fake coomments on: January 07, 2020, 11:49:19 AM
Can some trusted members with higher ranks please tag and report all the people that are making fake posts in their topic?

I've never had success reporting these types of comments, but I did find plagiarism in the white paper and posted a warning there. Perhaps I'll tag some of the spammers that have receive a merit or two but I need to give them a bit more time to establish their pattern of spamminess.
5757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] $TRUSD an elestic yet stable digital asset on: January 07, 2020, 11:43:17 AM
WARNING: SCAM PROJECT

This is a scam project that has plagiarized several elements of TrueUSD (TUSD) and USDCoin (USDC).

In addition, large parts of its white paper have been plagiarized from other sources. For example,

From the TrustUSD white paper:

Quote
To maintain price parity, algorithm-backed stable coins attempt to control their money supply
through monetary policy. They do this by expanding and contracting the available supply of coins on the
market. For example, if the price of a stable coin is too high, the stable coin protocol’s algorithm will
mint new units and introduce them into the market — increasing the supply until price parity. If the
price is too low, the algorithm will contract the supply until the price target is met.

From an article on thebitcoinpub written a year prior:

Quote
To maintain price parity, algorithm-backed stablecoins attempt to control their money supply through monetary policy. They do this by expanding and contracting the available supply of coins on the market. For example, if the price of a stablecoin is too high, the stablecoin protocol’s algorithm will mint new units and introduce them into the market — increasing the supply until price parity. If the price is too low, the algorithm will buy up the stablecoin on the market by selling bonds at a discount.

Its word-for-word plagiarism.

There are no details provided about how this project tends to increase the value of its tokens, just promises of "because it will go up in value." The team of newb shills constantly talking about how great this project is in such a cheesy fashion is also a dead giveaway of its non-authenticity.

This project is definitely a scam.
5758  Other / Meta / Re: From reading your old posts how have you changed since arriving here? on: January 07, 2020, 07:03:11 AM
I was a giant dick for my first 2 years or so at the forum, which was mainly because I was unhappy with my work situation.

Thanks to bitcoin, the blockchain and other cryptocurrencies, I have since remedied that problem, and now am only a medium dick.

The first comment purge has happened. I deleted one TwitchySeal post so that I can claim to be fair & balanced.

I expect to see a techole REEEEEE thread about this any moment now.
