5741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 and Altcoins on: April 16, 2020, 07:13:30 AM
Not all altcoins are "waiting" if you ask me, I mean most of them are already building their own systems to go back up as well.
Look at ethereum, they weren't really expecting this corona virus thing, they started working on proof of stake transition before this pandemic started and they will probably continue with it anyway after this as well.

We were expecting 2021 for it anyway so I doubt it would postpone too much, it would probably be just a few months at most and they are probably working at home as well to build a great blockchain for it.

There are other altcoins who are making some changes as well, so all of them are not waiting, some of them do wait but with enough time they would recover anyway even without halving and see halving just as a push towards higher as a help but not a permanent solution.
5742  Economy / Speculation / Re: My first experience of Bitcoin halving, I'm excited. on: April 16, 2020, 05:53:36 AM
I have been around enough to see two halving so far and this will be my third one when it happens, I can tell you that people are going to be very upset when it happens. The reality is halving never really increases the bitcoin price right away, which some people have been waiting for months now, even for a year, and when the price doesn't go up all of a sudden they will be upset and sell. What they are not understanding is, halving is not something that affects bitcoin right at that day, some think that the moment we have halving price should go up but that is not how it all works.

However in long period of time miners will not make enough profits and that will show in later stages, after months and months of nothing too huge, we will start to see an increase over a long period of time, that is the good part of halving, if you can wait.
5743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is nobody talking about this major resistance? on: April 15, 2020, 08:10:40 PM
I would have watched the video if the poster actually came back here and supported his decision making somehow to people who have said otherwise but unfortunately dude literally just shared a video and left, never looked back, so it shows that dude does not care about what we think about his video, he doesn't really care about our feedbacks at all, he only wanted to share the video so he could get some clicks and he managed to get over 300 by sharing all over I suppose, yet nobody even replied to him in the comments section neither so we can clearly say that this is not someone who should really be considered as important figure to listen to.

Plus, I think bitcoin is still trying to figure out a way to break over 7k, which is why I do not wait until 5.5k to go all in, I am going in periodically no matter what the price is.
5744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 15, 2020, 07:58:10 PM
I can't believe we haven't had NBA for over a month now, that shows how long we have been in lockdown as humanity as well, I have started my own self isolation BEFORE they have decided to stop NBA as well, so that means I have been at home for over a month now, close to two months now.

Players could donate as much as they want, and not just their money, they could donate their blood if they had corona and got better, all of that is awesome of course but at the same time no matter what we do, no matter what players does, eventually it comes down to timing. Look at Italy for example, that was the nation that got hit the biggest and they had over 700 deaths per day but now its declining, under 600 in many days past week, they are not all of a sudden get that to zero, but at least we now know that with enough time numbers go down, so we have to be patient and stay isolated and just hope that numbers will go down fast enough.
5745  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲 Simpledice.com 🎲🔥 - The simplest but most advanced bitcoin dice game on: April 15, 2020, 07:14:25 PM
It really does look great for a new place, I wouldn't really expect something like this from a new dice website usually, because most of them are done in a way "well, if people are making money from dice websites, so should we!" type of hype and not really a backbone to it.

This looks like it is done by people who know what they are doing, from the speed which is very important to simplistic look that gives its name to finally the great features, all of them makes this place as legit as any other dice website out there only lacking the numbers so far because its new but if this goes on to continue being this cool I am sure you guys will find a lot of users as well. I would suggest keep improving the website only you would know how to but also give marketing a very high importance since this website as it is on its current stage could beat a lot of its competitors.
5746  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difficulty choosing a trading platform on: April 15, 2020, 06:07:30 PM
It should basically be common sense to follow what everyone else is doing basically. I know that people might go into exchanges that are not really all that well time to time, there has been some bad stuff happened before in the past to people who did that, but the times has changed and things are a lot more legit nowadays and I doubt same would happen.

I still remember when Mt.Gox got "hacked" and how they didn't paid anyone their money, I remember cryptsy and how they ran away with everyone's money, but those were the old days when things weren't as legal  as it is right now and even they got into trouble with the law enforcement, so why would the big places that makes hundreds of millions of dollars in profit right now every year want to scam anyone? They are already making more money than they can spend while being legit.
5747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: April 15, 2020, 05:32:55 PM
Honestly, if you keep losing every single time you go into trading, maybe you are not really doing trading properly? Normally, if you are smart enough you shouldn't lose all your money, you should be losing some during bad days, that is understandable because people lose money during bad days however when you go all in with 100 dollars, the most you can lose should be 30-50% of what you get in and not ALL your money, there is not many coins that loses 100% of all their worth, maybe some small ones. Another way you can lose is leverage and you may get liquidated but if you are new you shouldn't do that at all.

Basically if you go in with 100 dollars, you can't really make too much profit but you shouldn't be losing too much neither, it should be moving very small like 10-20 bucks up or down.
5748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: April 15, 2020, 05:17:11 PM
No way that is for not for players! Is it? I mean you are basically telling players it is risky to go outside without masks and it is risky to play football without masks and they should be wearing this "stylish" masks while playing because otherwise they could get covid and you are still expecting them to go out and play?

This is basically forcing by the owners so they could make more money. They are telling players that because of corona and because of the break they are giving right now, they can't give them 100% of their money and there should be a cut to their contracts in order to pay for every other staff, while also telling them that they have to play if they want to get their money. What are the players gonna say? No? There is no way they would say no to millions of dollars but that is a sticky situation if you ask me.
5749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 15, 2020, 07:47:06 AM
I believe this trend will continue even after lockdown restrictions will be lifted out because physical casino may remain closed as government may not allow them to operate as that could lead to spreading out virus when more people gather at one place.
Yes, this may open big markets in coming months for online gambling industry. Not just physical casinos, all theaters, amusement parks and bars kind of all entertainment related with mass amount of people gathering may face more difficult times due to preventing restrictions of spread of corona. Until there will be an exact vaccine for curing covid19, we cannot expect those businesses to be restored to function like before.

When people are kept restricted from roaming around, we can expect online gambling to boom. Affiliate programs must be always a good one for making passive income stream but it may not be a consistent one. Still, something will be better than nothing. Also, efforts required for affiliate income stream is one time, hence why not give it a try Cool.

Better look and research for gambling sites tgat are legit and that can help you make your money grow bigger and bigger.
That is not a big task anymore. This community has already started listing out legit and scam sites and also we are having lists of sites which are good for investments and affiliate programs. Just taking time to find our the better and most suitable one from those list is as simple as counting 123.
5750  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Increased Bitcoin Adoption on: April 14, 2020, 09:38:56 PM
Honestly I literally just purchased some stuff from the market and I was thinking about the same thing. When I was paying I realized the dude who took my credit card didn't had gloves on, he had a mask but no gloves on his hands, he took my card and put it in the machine and clicked on it, then asked me to enter my pin as always like nothing is going on, then I had to click my pin in and then he gave my card and the slip, in all of those moves there is at least 5 chances of getting corona.

What we could have done is they could had some tablet, like iPad for example and some bitcoin payment processor, put in the amount there, get a QR code, I could open my own payment processor app on my own phone, read their QR code and confirm the payment. In that scenario we would have touched zero times.
5751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have look at the Bitcoin Latest update on: April 14, 2020, 05:44:05 PM
Honestly I feel like there is a thing that we haven't really named in the bitcoin world, maybe there is a name for it but I just don't know what it is. Lets say "bear", you know what bear is, you know that is when market is in panic mode and everyone sells and price goes down right? We all know that one. Take a look at "bull", not gonna explain it, you know it. From dead cat bounce to correction to many other names, we all know them.

However there is this thing when bitcoin goes up, fails to go any further because it hits a resistance, so drops down a bit, waits there for a few days or so, then test it again to break the resistance, sometimes breaks it, sometimes fails and redo that whole cycle again, does this all the way until it breaks the resistance. What does that called? We are in that right now.
5752  Economy / Exchanges / Re: "False crypto exchange traffic volume?" on: April 12, 2020, 08:06:43 PM
Unregulated market is both great for some reason but also brings in bad stuff like this as well.

I would rather be unregulated so that government doesn't intervene with my money anymore, they have been doing that for decades and I have never really seen anyone get a prosperity aside from the government officials themselves, and this is not just one nation, all around the world when you look at it politicians are usually richer than the public, and friends of politicians are even richer, all of our tax money goes to make some other person richer when it should have been used to make all of us equally better and increase the bottom line.

However wanting to be unregulated and independent from the government does come with a cost, which is having these kind of exchange problems.
5753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 11, 2020, 04:02:14 PM
Honestly, I was expecting something kind of from home, I haven't seen any information regarding that so I don't know what will happen. If they are at the same place that means there needs to be some people there anyway, two players, one probably ref (not really a must) and some TV crew so they can air it, that means at least 3 people and up to probably 10 people if the TV crew is big. When we are at a stage where we have managed to stop all the NBA activity to make sure nobody gets corona, does it make sense to make this at the same place?

I would say maybe if everyone did it from their own home, that would be more legit, everyone could make sure it is proper and fair by just live streaming each other, like a skype chat or something which could be streamed on twitch, that way everybody will be at their own home court but also we can watch it live as well.
5754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING BOTS: WHERE AND HOW on: April 11, 2020, 08:11:13 AM
I hear a lot that people use bots for trading/scalping. I have some of my friends who do also use bots for btc & eth trading by paying a small fee to the developer but they are hesitating to reveal anything about it to me. I believe this community is big and can help me in understanding and using bots for my trading where I don't have to sit hours watching for the movements.
I agree this community is toO big and it is always ready to help people like you but unfortunately this is not the case what you are actually looking for. I mean to help you to get most profitable trading bots, I believe your friends must be more handful than this community because they can easily understand all your requirements like your  preferred profit/stop-loss ratios according to your capital and all other risk and money management related things.

It is really rare that people are having friends who are using trading bots so I suggest you to make use of your friends first and you keep looking for a practical help from the community as well Smiley.

How to use trading bots? Where can I find a reliable trading bots? Can trading bots be trusted? Any scam related trading bots to avoid?
These are basics of trading bots before you make use of them. You can go searching google and this forum before concluding some people's experience on this discussion. But, you must make use of youtube videos for educating yourself about basics of trading bots which is not at all possible by this community.
5755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 24 Hour High and Low & 24 Hr Volume on: April 11, 2020, 07:03:10 AM
When a crypto chart shows 24 hour high and low, does it mean high/low from midnight last night or does it mean the high/low within the last 24 hours from the time you are looking at the chart?

If it refers to midnight, what time zone would it be referencing?

Similarly, when it shows 24 hour volume, is that from midnight last night or is it the volume for the last 24 hours from the time you are viewing the chart?
There is no fixed standard on this. I have seen trading platforms (not limited to crypto) with time zone based time-frame settings; like we must check with them what clock they are using and from that we can assume data being shown are last day's data when it is about last 24 hrs data. Also, some platforms are using running time frame. This is all about exactly last 23 hours 55 minutes data are included and when another five minutes of data occurs, data from 24 hours will be removed for calculations (here refresh time is 5 minutes, if I remember correctly we may set smaller refresh time to get more accurate 24 hrs calculations).

You must check with your exchange or trading terminal or chart provider for the type of calculations they are using. Or you can find it by yourself when extreme market conditions happens like when sudden spikes happens 24 hrs average value will drastically vary from current market price and it will get closer to market price when 24 hrs passed. By close observation, we can find what kind of trading environment we are using.
5756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: April 10, 2020, 06:02:48 PM
Seriously anyone who has enough money to trade with 10 bitcoin would be smart enough to know not to get influenced badly. Perfectly honestly I do not really believe that anyone who has enough money to buy 10 bitcoins would be also stupid enough to make a bad trade like this, they are probably lying if you ask me.

If I had 10 bitcoin I would probably do a lot more smarter than this guy claims, I would probably divide them into a lot of different stuff and diversify them to many other stuff. That way I could still have like 4-5 bitcoin but at the same time I would probably have something like ethereum and other stuff as well so that I could have a huge portfolio and whenever something goes down at least the other ones would go up and I would be a bit more safer.
5757  Other / Off-topic / Re: There should not be any more Lockdown in the US, Save the traders! on: April 10, 2020, 05:21:07 PM
There are so many wrong facts about that is that it is funny think anyone would actually not even check what they are talking about before they talk about it. There are about 80 thousand people who die from common flu in every season, there is really no way someone would think there are THREE MILLION people die from common flu without really checking any data, that is A LOT of people, the difference between 80 thousand people and 3 million people is 2 million 920 thousand people, that is almost 3 million give or take.

However there should be a lockdown not because of traders or not just because of economy, there should be lockdown because there are people who may die because of coronavirus if nobody does something about it, with lockdown you can at least slow it down.
5758  Economy / Speculation / Re: On Mar 12, BTC was at $12M (sell order) to reach a value of 0$ on: April 10, 2020, 03:01:56 PM
There is a difference between being a safe haven and being store of value. Bitcoin is still doing fine compared to other stuff and we are actually profiting at year to date price so that is showing what store of value bitcoin can be, however safe haven is something people talked about themselves and not something that was originally planned or even talked about by satoshi himself anywhere.

Long story short even gold dropped which is a millennium safe haven during periods like this, this wasn't some economical crash like 2008, this was an economical crash that was caused by pandemic. There is a difference between a mortgage crisis created by banks themselves that had nothing to do with regular people, to a level of crisis where people can't even go outside.
5759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s Explosive Surge is Firing up the Bullish Sentiment on: April 10, 2020, 02:22:03 PM
Why would you think that bitcoin is not bullish, I mean it really changed from 4k levels to over 7k quicker than anything else recovered and you are thinking that it is not really bullish and people are kidding themselves? Learn the difference between the market being bullish and a crash, sure we had a crash and that could once again happen, why wouldn't it? Everywhere else is getting lower and that would be normal if bitcoin joined it as well however one thing that you couldn't stop is the long term trajectory of bitcoin going higher and higher in the long term.

If you look at bitcoin price in the past 10 years, there is just one time bitcoin actually went to 20k and failed to go there again, all the other crashes we have recovered so the bulls always finds a way.
5760  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebooting the World after the COVID-19 Shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 01:09:31 PM
Wow this is a long read... I agree with almost all of them if that really worths anything, however I think whoever wrote this actually wrote with some sort of knowledge and research and that shows in the read as well, all of the things talked about here has some sort of backing academically and that really means something in this place since most of the topics written are usually opinion based and not really all that amazingly thought over and just basically "I think bitcoin goes to.." type of thing.

Something written with so much research and discussion has not really been seen here for a long time now. I would suggest everyone to read this if they want to know what are the potentials after all of this is over, the human psychologically after something like this gonna be very different.
