I'm pretty new to Bitcoin and the idea of cloud mining seems pretty appealing. However I keep hearing about Ponzi schemes which rely entirely on new members to stay alive. Besides the blindingly obvious, what are the main signs that a service might be a Ponzi?
Hey, new comer, you can figure it out when you can see a good and big offer to you. And mostly they use flowering words to gather people and scam them. In bitcoin there are a lot of ponzi schemes around, just open your eyes widely to see it and make some background check. |

There are some other new opened bitcointalk like who really trying to make and clone bitcointalk.org which they cannot beat on, I guess there is no other good paying forum as what we have here. So why looking for another one? This forum is trusted by thousands of people.

I've been having some interest with lending BTC here on Bitcointalk.org, it's a very risky investment. I realize this already and have accounted for.
Having valid collateral is a must to reduce risk lending bitcoin.
Here's where I need an suggestion or opinion!...
There's always users requesting loans without collateral, what do yall think of this.

Good to see that you offer this kind of service though it is not knew but the trust you gave to people here. But then be careful to those people who are really veterans on scamming money, they are just around trolling. Lending service requires a lot of attention so no one can scam. |

Please better fix first your red trust just like other said that you need to be trusted first, anyway there are someone there you can talk to about the red trust you have there. But that trust can only be removed if you can convince DT members that you were not wrong. |

I think they are smart! Especially if they bought their bitcoins from the time it was really low like around $200 per coin and held till now. That is 500 percent profits from just holding your coins. $200 price levels was around 2014-2015 which would mean that they only held for three years and they have earned more than 100% per year.
Yes they are totally smart, investing to bitcoin in early time totally gives you more profit now. Clever thinking of making money with all risk, yet in the end money comes so easy on sitting it on bitcoin worth. Its not easy to invest early in anything as you do not know where it will go in future. Those who take risk of investment mostly succeed. |

I think "no", Bitcoin is a huge network and is very well known. And I believe the current operators afford to continue developing it. A new brand could cause many consequences, and this should not happen. we do not need to convert Bitcoin. And if you really need, segwit is the best choice at the moment. That is my opinion
I think Bitcoin is totally in good condition, rebranding is not that good as of now because actually bitcoin is totally growing and we can see it through its value, maybe time will come we will be populated as fiat money yet. |

No. I will create many problems for government so I don't think government will allow bitcoin as main currency.
the fact is true with that, uncontrolled money totally will make the government disagree with the approval of the usage of bitcion to their country yet the advantages to the users totally helps if it uses for transactions, and I guess it will be hard to be publicize and I think the best is just to make it an option as payment or transaction to be use to. |

Investment either in real money or bitcoin everywhere it involves risk. first we should understand the company or orgainaztion where will invest. if it is doing its job honestly fromlast few years then ok go for it otherwise if the company is brand new and is giving you lot of oppurtinity and probably its a scam and better to avoid such company.

I think he is using the Mrai captchas and as i remember last year in the mid when Mrai was introduced many people started this scam service and people who did hard work got nothing. This time the Mrai captchas not giving many Coins per captchas and it is difficult even for a legit OP to give good rates for solving captchas. |

No Paypal is not a scam. Paypal is a legit business in which they are registered and trusted in the transfer of funds. If Paypal did bad thing they can be easily track down while in the fake companies you won't be able to track them down because they are not real. Paypal is 3rd in terms of online transactions it comes right after VISA and Mastercard.

Pretty far from bring accurate. Do it can give you 10-20% of accurate data it is still to low. Ai can't manage to predict the market for the next 2 weeks or months or years.
I think such a calculator cannot be made which accurately tell the price. Predicting the future bitcoin price with 20% percent accuracy is also not any use of and 80% chances it will not be correct. Better to predict the prices yourself by seeing the buying and selling orders at different exchanges. |

Well, when i was new in bitcoin field, than always i spend my time to search the free bitcoin sites. But i learn from my experience nothing any sites here where we earn free bitcoin, except faucets but they pay very low and in this way, we can't earn 1 bitcoin, except gambling is only way where we earn fast but on the risk. So i choose different ways like hold the bitcoin and also i try to do altcoin trading.

I am not ready to agree about capital for making more money because I am the one making decent amount of bitcoins and altcoins and some fiats only through my skill set. I invest only my time. There are lot of freelancing jobs which support me to earn decently in more particularly supporting me for leading a satisfying life with a small family. Only a few people are here who make money with a small capital, because they believe on self and also they have skills, and i think you are one of them. But majority of the people are here who think to make money only for a big capital and also i am one of them. Because if we have only big amount, than sometime we don't need skills and we could use our money for making profit. |

Bitcoin cannot replace fiat, Fiat has been established their community for several years. Nowadays not all people are favor in Bitcoin on the contrary, not all people are not favor in fiat also even they don't have any knowledge in bitcoin.
Everybody in here knows about the fiat currency and bitcoin. but the possibilities of bitcoin to replace fiat isn't exist. The digital world is the correct place for bitcoin rather than use it in our daily life. although it can go with confirming a thousand transactions for a block. But i think it doesn't matter if everyone know or not know about bitcoin. Because matter is that bitcoin can't replace to any other fiat currency, Because no one government accept bitcoin to replace his own nation currency, and if bitcoin marge into fiat than the question will be come Why and What matter to create the bitcoin? I think bitcoin could finish but it has no need to replace to another fiat currency. But i agree with you, digital world is right place of the bitcoin, bitcoin don't need fiat. |
