When I want to buy a sandwich I'll go fast food, what am I going to get when I come to byteball?

You can pay fees for using byteball network.

No you misunderstood me, I am asking what should I tell my friend or one of my family members without any prior knowledge about crypto what so ever when I want to introduce byteball to them?

As we all know bitcoin is much easier when you want to explain the purpose of using it.
5744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best cryptocurrency to invest for 2017 ? on: November 11, 2016, 02:50:05 PM
OP said Cryptocurrency and no altcoins, so bitcoin can be option too right  Grin we will see on 2017 how high bitcoin price can be
One thing you should know is that bitcoin mining is no longer profitable for small miners only +10 mining machines and very cheap electricity can bring a roi for you.

But alt coins in the other hand still low difficulty and somehow stable price( those profitable ones) like ETH DASH MONERO and you can forget about zcash as it has no stable price and market.

people are rarely looking for mining in general. so apart from the old members who are already mining no one else is interested in it. and that is because of the fact that difficulties are high with the good coins and the rest are so cheap that it is not worth mining!

most people are looking for trading only! and i agree with your choices with the addition of LTC which is a good coin.
Exactly, you are right about the cons difficulties in mining I really don't know how are we suppose to mine something when difficulty increases as price does and same time hashrate increases, only companies are profiting in terms of large scales are the manufacturer providing thousands of miners and GPUs.

I wonder when we can truly benefit simply by our participation and not hardware capability, this is becoming like the fiat system with banks and the governments printing paper money, now as big you get as a miner farm you get more out of the system.
5745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk Community Forging starts very soon on: November 11, 2016, 02:37:33 PM
I hope that this will work. And now it is time to chose the right delegates. I still only know one delegate i will vote for.

What is the forging do? and how can it have any impact on the price of LSK which honestly is kind of a disappointment it used to be much higher than this, I don't know if Iconomi and other ETH contracts made it useless or what.
5746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future on: November 11, 2016, 02:32:43 PM
Bitcoin has been invented already meaning the only thing we'll see is moving forward and increase in price, there is no other crypto coin that can ever compete with it in volume, marketcap and any aspect for that matter.

Best thing you can do is to hold at least 20 bitcoins because 15 years from now it worth 1000X more than today.
5747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 11, 2016, 01:53:13 PM
Do we need to send bitcoin to an address chosen by byteball wallet? are we the sole owner of the private key of our address?

What gives this coin value beside bitcoin? what does it do if someone wants to know when should they go and try to buy or earn byteball when they are in need of something, what could be that thing?

When I want to buy a sandwich I'll go fast food, what am I going to get when I come to byteball?
5748  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Ditributed Cloud Computing] iEx.ec at Super Computing (SC16) on: November 11, 2016, 01:20:30 PM
And how does this cloud computing work? it only aims at cloud mining? or other cloud items as well?
How can you compete with the big companies with strong back ground in this section as for the costs and profitability?
5749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which bitcoin trading platform is easy and reliable on: November 11, 2016, 11:41:28 AM
Beside polo and bitrex? you can rely on btce, kraken, though those three are a bit large in terms of volume but if you looking for penny trading alts and btc with fiat support you can most certainly depend and trust c-cex, cryptopia, yobit(ish), but of course what we have plenty of is exchanges and every day a new one popping up and goes down miserably.
5750  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How long will signature campaigns last? on: November 11, 2016, 10:30:16 AM
Depends on their budget really, one thing seems most of them fail to understand is the fact that signature campaign only works if it is wide spread throughout the whole forums and in long period of time which apparently yobit and 1 or 2 other campaigns could grasp it and be smart.

many think that people stop on every and each signature and click on them and then follow them but they never get it that their advertisement in signatures must be seen repeatedly and regularly until it hacks into the minds of people and they get used to it and when someday someone needed something related to a specific ad in sigs easily can recall the numerous times he or she saw such service or announcement.

And when they fail to take a note on my statement above they'll just run out of funds and get cold feet.
5751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash: What's the point? on: November 11, 2016, 09:26:06 AM
They(Zbank) counted on the same fact that if they hype the coin and make some noise about a quick cash grab people would simply act out of greed and take part as in mining and even being stupid enough to buy it at high prices.
Of course it was a good profit in first but not so fast as I remember no one could mine the damn thing properly in first 3 days and even now and too much difficulty changes as the price dropped or went up again, I mean WTF?

Manipulating the core by the hour and still people being blind by their greed and fell for it as Zbank anticipated it.
5752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 11, 2016, 09:11:26 AM
What model and how many graphic cards do I need to mine ETH with 200 MH/s?
Can you guys help me out?
Thanks.

With the RX 480, you can mine it with 30-32MH/s. So you need 6 cards to run at the 200MH/s speed.
And if we consider their price to be around $200 for each card total of $1200 and can earn that back mining ETH in 3 months roughly $100 bucks per week, but for how much longer we can mine it before switching to POS?

According to MinerGate(pool) calculator with 200 MH/s you can earn $100 weekly mining ETH.
5753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for signature campaign? on: November 11, 2016, 08:58:55 AM
Why the hell not? bring it on guys and gals next stop is "Sigoin", not to mention of course the fact that people try to shove their alt coins to pay for campaigns and make others to download and run their wallets I hardly doubt it could succeed.

But one thing came to my mind is to implement a rule where anyone trying to run a signature campaign should go through a series of stages like filling applications outside of forum and creating an automated on time payments and if they don't accept them then no campaign what so ever allowed, then there will be a specific and proper channel for those who want to run and those want to participate and helps with fighting the spam and more accessible for everyone.

I see that the price hasn't changed much since like forever Cheesy I think Iconomi should launch an ad campaign at least spending 100 btc to spread the word even more.

This campaign appears to be inactive. I think campaign manager needs to hire a campaign manager Smiley
5759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is there URL to enter and start mining? on: November 10, 2016, 11:09:39 PM
You need a miner software, you can't mine with a "link". well javascript codes and such might produce very small hashrates, but it's useless.
Lol I think my idea is too early. What I meant was that you could setup everything as to point a miner and pool with everything ready and just enter a link and start mining.
Is there any miner that needs no installation?
5760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is there URL to enter and start mining? on: November 10, 2016, 10:48:00 PM
I want to know if there is such a mining pool that first you sign up and can chose a coin then generate a special URL which if entered any where on any device it leads straight to mining process without login to pool ever needed again ?

For example something similar to MinerGate web miner. but just everything  for a specific coin preset into a url link.
