If you think about it, I think we have more fans from Wales able to invest more money than fans from Ukraine.  Roll Eyes

British "investment" perhaps, I think if it really comes down to it, there's more money in Ukrainian betting than Welsh any day, I'd wager. Not got the numbers to back it but there's a lot of powerful old money looking for Ukrainian interests in football Wink

@KTChampions: you're right, Ukraine seems to be the best value bet here. I generally don't lock money in for a long time unless it's huge outrights or specials (I'd be watching bookies for that closer to the contest) but if you like outrights like me, and want to book in small amounts (say 10-50 just for fun) then I'd go for the price boosts every day to milk maximum value.

^I got 0.25 freebet today, and the only bet I made 1mbtc or more was on Soccer Blackjack too Smiley All my other bets were 0.2 or thereabouts. So I'd ping about for it if I don't got it.

Right, anyway, so remember we were talking about the effects of voided legs on an acca?

My 5-leg acca got settled today, with the two postponed matches voided.
Don't remember now what the actual acca odds were but I'm happy to say that the boosts on odds were retained.

As you can see, if I just the given odds, the payout should only have been 8.43 (1.85x2x2.28)... but I got paid out on odds of 9.28. That's a 10% boost, so good to know now it's worth going for the boosted price on multi even with voided legs!

@buwaytress. Hehehe I do not know where to begin. However, many of the users say I am antagonizer, I am really not. I support Tether’s disruption of the traditional banking system in hyperdollarization. Read my latest reply in Big Short thread hehe. Tether is doing it in El Salvador and it appears it will be doing it in Myanmar. I also speculate in Grenada and surrounding jurisdictions through Justin Sun.

Get all your known points of truth (I decline to say fact heh). Line them up, and use them to back up your theory. The best conspiracy theories -- at least, the most entertaining ones -- have plenty of public evidence to back them up. Remember Tether-related Spoofy from a few years ago? Never really proven without doubt, but highly engrossing reads because they used a whole lot of charts to proof Spoofy was a thing.

Don't get hurt by people calling you antagoniser. I probably have myself at some points kicked out at you. It's fine. Make your case, don't just present it. I appreciate all points of view, I appreciate even more "attacks" on Bitcoin. I'm happiest when the FUD is thick and the bears are vocal. I actually worry when everything's rosy on the horizon when it comes to Bitcoin.

El Salvador, Myanmar, Grenada? The former experimented with dollarisation and failed, the others I can't say enough, but they sought to paper over the widening cracks in fundamental economic issues. Taking off the dollar band aid and strapping on Bitcoin or other crypto isn't healing the wound.
5745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 21, 2021, 01:48:33 PM
great match last night, seven goals, and we won
it looked bad in the beginning, being two goals down, but we played solid at those moments as well, and score four afterwards
Usually Monday night football is quite boring thing, but not this time, Valencia derby was great. Levante were leading 2:0, but Valencia comeback with 4 goals in a row was impressive thing.

Yeah too bad I didn't switch on to watch, thought my night was ruined betting wise but now I get to save my ticket and root for Atletico on my last freebet from predictions.

Also smacked Soccer Blackjack into a high bust, but at least got a point out of the correct outcome, and now the gap has closed again.

Coming to 19th game day, which is exactly halfway point. 3-2 Barca, 4-3 Valencia, loads of goals, makes everyone happy.
5746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 21, 2021, 12:45:31 PM
Yeah, agree with all points above for VAR and I think on this thread alone, a few ideas around VAR challenges (review call) that are all similar where each team's manager (or maybe even captain) can call for a couple, maybe 3 reviews. It's done in tennis, and even in demonstrations of sportsmanship (where a player believes his opponent was wrongly penalised and uses his challenge to review)... it's happened often enough where players plead with ref not to send off an opponent when he believes there was no call for a red.

I know I was fully against VAR the way EPL implemented and credit due, they've found a way to make it less intrusive now BUT if we already know refs can call for a review, then the disruption is already there, and indeed, better to have a more consistent way for these reviews.

Just when I thought VAR was getting to tolerable levels. Anyway. Boxing day games. I'm waiting til early Sunday to put picks in.

DCA is simply a way to avoid FOMO or panic-selling.

In fact, even if, for some reason, you're a sociopath and absolutely impervious to emotion, DCA frees you up to live a regular life. This means building a career, or pursuing a hobby, or fine-tuning a talent, or growing a family... whatever it is you'd have been doing if you didn't know about Bitcoin.

I think too many people "get into Bitcoin" and it consumes their life. Good for them, good for all, but many of these guys "get in" with the wrong expectation. Thinking they can learn enough to outsmart the rest of the market.

DCA just means you make yourself useful as you otherwise would, while at the same not missing out on the biggest financial opportunity in our lifetime.

^metaverse football? I'd rather metaverse football where we're actually also playing, kinda. Heh. Maybe in 40 years when I can't move my ass around so much (though I still hope to be physically active then).

solid off-topic, but it depends on age, would agree that under 20 years old see it different (metaverse vs real world sport)
being above 40 (myself), I think that real sport is better, but my opinion would not matter in 10-15 years

and if you watch it on TV, does it make a difference are these people avatars or real people? VAR is just one step closer to programmable sport, IMO

I don't disagree the tech would be as realistic in 10? 20? years? But I doubt anyone capable of the skill and athletics in real life would strap on a headset and do it on a treadmill. Would the grass turf feel the same after 20 people tackled on it? Would you hear the whisper of a guy or read his face expression when taking a penalty? Would you smell the sweat on the guy you're marking? All these things make people react differently. Where's the captain when you need him? The linesman to shout at? The ballboy to beckon to? =)

So okay, if Gavi and Bellingham and Jota say, forget football I'm playing VR, MAYBE I'd watch but unless entire teams decide to shirk the grass for astroturf (which sucks as a substitute btw)...

Anyway, go Valencia =p

Cobra obviously chose to remain anonymous rather than present himself in court and doxx himself to the world. This is something that has made it possible for newbies to get fooled by CSW, Calvin Ayre and their propaganda outlets like coingeek.

Sad to learn this belatedly, though I suppose this had been expected, of course Cobra did the right thing. And he did respond, of course, just a shitty court stuck in the stone age. Gotta say, it ain't just newbies on the Kool-Aid... it's just particular types of person and these particular people apparently are a lot more common that we dare to imagine.

Really need to check my email more often.
Besides the email, we post here, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and www.Betcoin.ag/community with frequent promos and betting specials. Would love to see you in there!

With regrets, I have to say my presence on social media is near negligible. But I'll definitely try and pay more attention, as I said, in the coming year. Hard to resume a habit once it's successfully curbed =D

Definitely look forward to a possible rekindling of good memories on BC Wink Gotta try and give more notice on the promos though maybe, for those of us slow to check inboxes!
5751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 20, 2021, 01:48:00 PM
It's been a crazy week. Spurs equalizer and Liverpool red card / draw took everyone by surprise. And all the yellow cards in that game trashed my betbuilder too (under 29.5 booking points 90 mins). Usually LFC and Spurs don't get much yellows by themselves. Against each other, it's a different story apparently. What the heck... even Klopp got a yellow. And City denied me an exact score at the dying stages of the game.

Yeah, I'm not going to whine, I think it was tough, and Spurs did expose us countless times at the back, could easily have been 4-4... but I wish that last minute Alisson punt to Tsimikas went better (I'd have asked him to shoot directly or pull back to an unmarked Firmino). I got thrashed everywhere I snuck this game into, but ok, the result could have been worse. We just now have to deal without Robbo, good thing our Greek lad's been doing his best to compete.

I thought I got something special with correct score on City but quite a few of us got it right, so meh. Wolves - Chelsea had under written all over it, I just couldn't decide among 1:0, 0:0 or 0:1 and picked wrong one of course.

Kind of kills me to see Wolves end up scoreless of 1 goal every game now, not too long ago they played pretty positive football. Feel like as soon as Nuno tried to evolve, and Jimenez got his injury, and Traore got overhyped (and okay they lost Jota too heh), they've become painful to watch.

2. Both to score - No
3. Number of yellow cards in the game - 4-5

Bilbao - Real Madrid

2. Both to score - Yes
3. Number of yellow cards in the game - 4-5

@buwaytress. Are you implying the comedy stock to flow cycle? I have a conspiracy theory on that hehehe. What if stock to flow was created only to give the community something to believe in. It might be really nothing but a part of iFinex, Bitfinex, Tether’s print and pump operation. I cannot prove this, however, stock to flow is something to be skeptical about.

Me? Nah, not really, and I do gain quite a bit of entertainment from s2f related stuff, and gotta give credit where it's due, really, as there really hasn't been any model that's come close in terms of accuracy. Would really like to see some updates on where his plotlines will be in 2022 now that Nov/Dec have invalidated the model in quite a big way.

The "community" -- both sides of the divide -- will always have something to hold on to, and something to chew on while the gristle of day-to-day Bitcoin markets continues.

Go out and gather some evidence for your theories. Speculation sub-thread always needs love Wink

But coming in and seeing it these days is all about the signature campaign. Can we not give that up already and leave this thread for those still actually using the site?
Yeah! Maybe it would be good to start reporting all these posts as off-topic so that the moderators do their thing. I guess some of the members are posting here just to fill their signature quota in the gambling section. In this way, their efforts would be in vain.

But let's get back to the topic, do you think the lightlord is still following the discussion? Will he return to the forum again soon?

From what it seems, he is just silently checking out this forum as he was last online last Dec 15.
So I am assuming that even if he is not posting for any news or updates, he is up to date as he may be reading some posts here.
No one I guess, can tell when he will get back here as active again like placing his ads or any of that sort.
But maybe, people are just curious on his real status.

Not in vain as I guess those off-topic posts are still earning for them, otherwise they wouldn't keep posting in here. I can only say from my own experience that the site still works as it should, and all the long-time players as far as I can tell are still in there chatting, and still gambling.

Of course, it would still be good for clarity and I myself have acknowledged the issues but until I see actual players and users rise in numbers in complaining, I feel like the majority of users posting here aren't even users at the site.
5755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: December 20, 2021, 08:01:43 AM
Final UFC of the year and it was a good one, well for me as I managed to pull out a 155.99x odd betslip for UFC Fight night 199/Vegas 45 before the big draw for the UFC 270 starts a new for the first event of the New Year.

Well bloody done my friend! I've never once in my life hit anything over 100/1. There was this period on a book where I hit several but it was a competition with systems during one of the Wimbledons (if I can recall), so I probably chucked in over a 100 different combis on tennis, and of course with system, you tend to hit a few, but never anything like this.

@igehhh what're the odds on Ngannuo? I should look him up and place a bet or two if they're poor odds but I'm sold by your confidence!
5756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 19, 2021, 09:15:53 PM
Not such a great night for me but so who else didn't expect Roma to win and win big? Don't even mind losing my prediction on this, too bad I'd skipped a bet on Roma, I saw the goal Tammy Abraham scored and yeah, nothing special you can say but that's what Chelsea's missing out now (and they had one shot on goal the whole day at Molineux). And yes, they have a lot of missing players but when you still have Pulisic, Ziyech, Mount, and plenty of offensives on bench, you wonder where their killing touch is.

And as if to top it off, Fiorentina only escaped with a point, so Roma's situation doesn't look so bad right now.

Then we get tonight, some so-so results, and Napoli leading Milan... I'm turning in to sleep, hope to wake up with a surprise home win.

Man, this league is fun.
5757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: December 19, 2021, 06:30:49 PM

I need to learn not to max bet on Liverpool games. This one is a bit of a heartbreaker for me, only got a draw, some horrid midfield (relatively to me anyway as Keita kept giving the ball away) and then Robbo gets sent off when Kane only got a yellow for a studs-up challenge on him earlier.

Then a high bust of course heh. 9 cards (excluding one for Klopp), 4 goals and 10 corners for 23.

Time to lick wounds and watch next game.

We're almost at halfway point, I'm still chasing the top, and I just had a look: more than half of La Liga is negative goal difference. That's not as bad as EPL where only 6 teams, all the top 6, have positive GD, and only the top 3 have more than +7 GD.

I wonder what this says about either league huh?
5759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 19, 2021, 04:03:39 PM
Well, well, well... Even predicting 3-1 wasn't enough to get close on Citeh, but Chelsea, really. I actually bet on Wolves for a 12/1 what-I-thought was value but I'm pleased with the draw still. I'm still not convinced Chelsea is down and out though, 2 draws in a row, we've been 6 losses in a row and still finished last season strong. Tuchel will be worried though, and their goal-scoring drought is finally here, as the law of average dictates.

I'm hoping for a big game now on the last one for Sunday. So glad no more postponements yet, but don't want to speak too soon.
5760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUDS started against Bitcoin as asusual on: December 19, 2021, 02:15:20 PM
We can somehow control it though, I mean people just needs to shut up and think rationally, it's that easy. Plus, I don't get how FUDs are still a thing in bitcoin, it's 40k USD and even if it has gone down, that's still a lot of money compared to what it was back in 2009 and there's also this trend that those who spread FUD are those that isn't even in the cryptospace at all.

Why control it? I personally am happy for the FUD to be around for several reasons. The first being that every negative aspect proven wrong or overcome only strengthens the case for Bitcoin, and probably wins over its detractors. The second, no FUD, no bargain prices for me. I know we all wanted 100k BTC by end of the year (I know I did) but the FUD's helped to delay that, which is all the better for people like me still stacking them sats Wink
