The suns chemistry is ruin by Chris paul return, in the last two games their style of play is very different, they were attacking and moving without the ball when Chris return they need to wait for Chris to set up a play, they should have tried what is working, certainly, the Clippers can't keep up with the level of plays in those two games, but I think game 4 will be alright for the suns.
Does it? I don't think so, CP3 has been a big part of the success of the Suns, yes, they played a slow pace but I believe that's the game plan. Pane is a great back up of CP3, but he was injured in the game so that's a big loss for the Suns, in addition, booker is not shooting well. It's a bad night for Suns and good night for clippers since imagine the hot shooting of Suns has been limited at that game, Maybe there's adjustment for players since maybe Booker is not comfortable with his mask and Cp3 has newly comeback from injury. Maybe we can see the real action on game 4 since for sure Suns will revenge on their game 3 lose. Also they need to limit the clippers stars if they want to win the 4. After game 1, the game has become so physical already. The Clippers understand that they have a good chance of being the Suns if they are more physical and I think the Clippers have more players getting minutes compared to the Suns, and being Physical makes the starters of the suns tired, and thats' where there advantage will come. This is the WCF, it's really going to be physical, and I think both team know that. They really did a good job at Booker in this game, as compare to Game 2 wherein Booker was just running around and hitting that mid range jump shot. Game 3 was different, Beverly started to play physical on him, and try to have Booker work harder and spend more energy. It just a bad game for the Suns, they can't get their rhythm and the Clippers didn't allow them to jump early and do the catch up again. It was a total team effort on the part of the Clippers, Ty Lue has adjusted so let's see if they can continue their defense on both Booker and Chris Paul next game. |

^^ Jrue might be a perfect fit for the Bucks to handle Trae, but we have seen his shimmy so I don't how how effective it is. They need rotation, fresh body on Trae to somewhat stop him or at least slow him down. I have 221-230 point range in this game, good odds @3.46. Obviously, he is not 100% in the Lopez fight, but he doesn't want to cancel it and makes excuses. So he continue even though that he has a shoulder injury. Now that it is operate and heal maybe we can see the old version of Loma, who moves a lot and uses awkward angles to throw his opponent off-balance. So I'm expecting him to win against a very game Nakatani here and then setup a rematch with Teo Lopez to try and redeem himself and prove once again that he is the king of this division.
I do hope that the injuries that he have on the Lopez fight have fully healed now as to not give excuses if ever an upset may occur but I doubt it will happen  . Below are some options on how to bet for the upcoming fight and I will go with Loma via Decision as that Japanese is a tough nut to crack and that odds is attractive enough AFAIC.  Yeah, that's one good betting options, Loma by decision because Nakatani is a very tough cookie to crack. But I will be looking for Loma to look for a knock out here, I wanted to see the old Loma who are going to toy with anyone at this division, whether they look very rugged and tough or defensive fighter like Rigo. People are overreacting like Hawks are some magical team and Bucks sucks so bad. First of all Nets were leading as well and Bucks still managed to win that series, secondly Hawks is not magical, they won against Sixers as well, they are a good team that people are underrating and that's it, they were good all year and they are still good. This doesn't mean that Bucks will lose or Hawks will lose, it is a series and the game ended with just one three point difference and could have been closed.
People are reacting based on what they see, this is a game to game basis, it's a long series so anything can happen. But for now, if they continue to win, definitely you will hear people singing praises about Trae Young, just 22 like Luka but can take over the game and win under pressure. Long story short this is a very close series, one side has superstar Giannis that can score inside and a very big threat, the otherside has Trae that can score and he can also distribute the ball well. So long story short we are talking about equal powers fighting and it will be close series, I am not expecting any team to win in 5 or something like that.

Really interesting story, I enjoy reading about the Mafia. It is probably the only criminal organisation where it is cool to be a member off. But how can you just go public and write about your book about the gold old days? Isn't it too dangerous? Always thought that the Mafia has a code of silence, and if you violate it than the Don will send his guys over for a visit. Also, I think you need to very secretive when fixing matches, because if it comes out you will be banned for life. If too many people know about the fixed match than the bookmaker will notice the proportional high number of winners and the bets might be cancelled.
There are a lot of Mafia whistleblowers who are still alive right now.
I agree with @harizen that the tragedy has nothing to do with Mafia though. @bitterguy28 - I don't think that the Pacquiao vs Spence is going to be fixed or at least the Mafia will be involved on it. I like there your honest opinion about this game, Hawks really are a young team and their star player is a first-timer in the playoffs, so what to expect from him and the entire Hawks team?
Looking at match ups, Bucks weakness is if they can't defend Capela on the inside. Then, there is Trae Young against Jrue Holiday which might be a good match up. While Hawks will also have a problem dealing with Giannis. Offensively I think Hawks has so much options with outside shooting while on defense it will be Bucks with the upper hand. If you ask my bias opinion though, I am betting for the Bucks here as I think the dominance of Giannis will be the key factor if Hawks cannot find an answer to stop him. -7.5 for the Bucks and analysts may also have the same idea that's why it's that high for a handicap. I think this is going to be.another chess match, just like the Clippers vs Phoenix series. Will be a good match up, Lopez vs Capela inside and then we have Giannis to provide some cover as well. And then Trae Young, I think it will be. a big challenge for Tucker or even Jrue Holiday to contain him because he has the speed and can shoot way outside. So you don't know if you will give him space early when crossing the mid court, or stay close to him as early so that he can't shoot. And of course Giannis, seems that he up his game in the series against the Nets, he can now dribble penetrate, play behind his back and then that long stride when attempting a fast break. Also, he seems to facilitate if that option is not open for him in the first 2 quarters. So this is a close match up, and I do agree that they can take care of game 1 with and cover -7.5 and then Hawks adjusting in game 2. |

Although without Kawhi, it seems that Clippers have settled down with Paul George as the leading and then Reggie Jackson as the second option now. I think the key for them to win and stop that winning streak of the Suns is how to stop Devin Booker who is tearing them with his mid jump shot and assists.
That was a low-scoring game as defense on Booker is intense but still, they won via that alley-oop to DA. Damn, I could not believe that a superstar's knees would buckle under pressure, missing two clutch free throws that could have sealed the win for the Clippers, I think this will haunt Paul George if they will lose the series . Yeah mate, I thought that the Clippers have sealed the win, PG13 who is clutch missed both free throws and the alley-opp was perfect. It's a win-win situation for Clippers but they blew it off big time. For sure that missed of PG13 will really haunt him for the rest of his career. If Clippers won this game, they will now have the home court advantage. Now their backs are against the wall and in a need to win situation in their back yard next game. |

Joining the fun and voted for Donaire. Nonito seems to be the sentimental favorite amongst Filipino and non-Filipino boxing fans here. Maybe it was because he is really that good and has a chance against Inoue who beat a hapless Dasmarinas or he is well love.
But Casimero is also a beast in this division, and he has been calling Inoue since last year, actually they supposed to fight but due to covid and then scheduling conflict the fight didn't materialized.
It's not just the sentimental value that Donaire has with Filipino fans that makes him a favorite pick in this fight, remember that he is a skilled fighter that is raging the ring back then together with Pacquiao and Donaire has the skill to show for, Casimero is a good fighter too but given the achievements that Donaire has, he is absolutely outshoned. It's no surprise that Donaire is leading the poll in this forum as he is more popular than Casimero but with regards to who will win, I voted for Casimero as I think that the latter is more agile than Donaire in this stage. It is interesting who will the bookies put as an underdog in this fight. Experience and achievement may be on the side of Donaire but he is in the twilight of his career though he won against Oubaali but against Casimero, that killer left hook of him will be closely watched by Casimero. I have a feeling that Donaire will be the opening favourite against Casimero base on his previous fight. I know it's going hard to predict or at least both of this fighters are our favourite Filipino boxers right now. Donaire still hanging on with that big win against Oubaali, and on the other side, we have Casimero who is eager to put his name on this division, even chasing Inoue. I personally think that Clippers played a hell of a game in Game 1 without Kawhi and in front of a Phoenix home crowd. And they were within striking distance the whole game with Devin Booker's 40 pt triple double.
They have enough talent and championship pedigree in Rondo to pull an upset against Phoenix imo.
With the odds on offer right now, Clippers series/championship ML might be worth a buy even if you're not a fan of the team.
Agree and game2 would be the best chance for the Clippers to steal the home-court advantage as they will have their adjustments in place. Still without Chris Paul for the game tomorrow, I think the Clippers will steal game2 as Booker will be a marked man. Clippers @2.75 ML is very attractive so I'm going for that. I'll tail you on this one mate, I got it @2.71 boosted odds. Clippers without Kawhi is capable of stealing one game at Phoenix. Simmons has the length and he is an elite defender but that can't cover his lack of shooting abilities, can't shoot free throws and him being scared to shoot.
He's afraid to shoot. He's afraid to drive. All that because he's afraid to miss from the FT line. He knew he would be fouled. He doesn't want to be blamed again because of his poor FT shooting but it still backfired on him and the team. I saw a funny meme earlier that Shaq had a higher FT% than Simmons hehehe. He is the one that needs to blame with what happened to the Sixers this post-season. He is the worst free throw shooter in the history of the NBA playoffs (all players who attempted at least 70 shots). I want to blame Doc Rivers too because they know already from the start that Simmons is afraid to shoot and having a hard time shooting free throws and yet he still puts him in the court. For what?? For defensive purposes? He might be a good defender like I said but still, he can be a liability to his team because of his problems. I just hope that the team where he will land in this offseason will be the one who can improve his shooting skills. I might be optimistic to this player and he might still redeem himself if he will be traded in another team and they can improve him too. Golden State might be one, Portland might too. Any other team might do as long as they can improve his shooting skills because he is the worst TBH. In defense of Coach River though, he definitely has to put Ben back he is the second best player in that Sixers team. And in previous interviews, he defended Simmons from the media, however, Ben has a mental break down in this series, lots of questions and we got the answer now, he can't carry a team, he has exposed in this series. I saw the reply in which he has a chance to dunk the ball but opted to pass it. That was one example that he has no longer the confidence to shot the ball. You can see the Joel went after him and I'm sure he ask Ben why he passes the ball inside of dunking it. The truth is that, without being a catastrophist, the price drop and the subsequent sideways movement is lasting longer than I would have thought. I would say that this has to start to rebound already in these months and I hope that this year we will pass $100K but you never know.
In the first place, who wouldn't have thought that the price will go down very hard? In any case we can't do anything about it, the price is bouncing back in the $35k-$38k. I understand your sentiments, of course we understand that the market needs to go to corrections, but it's hard to see it from $64k-$30'ish. And we can only hope that we have enough time, at least 6 months to be able to see that $100k. So let's just be optimistic here. If we can go down 50%, then there is also a chance that we can bounce back on that levels as well. |
