i was away and busy. clicking 'show unread posts blah blah' found https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5177939.0i was reading random posts and i noticed something was feeling wrong. not a bad thread, a typo in the title excusable enough , small but ok starting post , good flow/content by the way. -- To our beloved Admin and Moderators : there are two innocent low quality posts making 60 and 50 days jumps. /revivals/ post numbers 275 and 285. is it ethical and/or legit for us users to revive threads like that , my question. thanks in advance , and delete this post asap if i made something wrong , i am partly human still you know. or correct my catchy title. Those posts are reportable, assuming that the OP's questions/ concerns were addressed prior. But to be fair, it's fairly common to see such things especially from the signature campaigners just to fulfill their post quotas. Heck, I still see dead projects necro-ed from time to time.

TBH after the introduction, I found the 100 Merits airdrops to be totally unnecessary.
Those from Newbie managed to become Full Member had the easiest shortcut.

Neat, thanks guys!

You should post this in the correct subforum, Beginners and Help. That'll raise more awareness among the newbies.

I agree with you I also read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki I bought this book myself and I still have it I read from time to time. We'll be able to change our motions later on in this book Here's how a poor boy paved the way for his wealth We have a lot to learn from here.
It's kinda ironic (and hilarious) that the author himself became the epitome of the title. From rich too poor

I sold in 2017 and I made profit from my investment. The funny thing is that I sold my coins around $15,000 and the price kept going up and I was regretting why I sold my coins and I was even thinking of getting back on the ship and then, suddenly, it all goes down lol.
I kept thanking my God that I never took the decision to invest back into it because I would have been among those that are still crying about losing their money today. That made me realize that sometimes we are greedy and our greediness is what leads us to failure. Anyone that wants to invest should always go for what they can risk and be satisfied with whatever little profit they get.
I was one of the unfortunate ones, and I crie everytime I think about it.

I actually like Brave browser(please don't crucify me, Bitcointalk) due to it's built in ad blocker and privacy features, and that their mobile app is seriously kick-ass, but I heavily don't suggest turning on the "earn money viewing ads" feature. To actually claim the money, you'd have to submit KYC/AML information to Uphold; whereas, as you may know, KYC is almost always a really really bad idea.
Yup, I saw that some time ago. But didn't Brave mention they're working on an alternate way to withdraw? Didn't keep up with the progress after that.

I don't know why people are recommending you buy a copper account. This is not the place to sell art.
They do so because CM allows a Newbie to actually post images rather than the image URL. Rather than waiting for their first Merit (which they might not even be aware of its purpose) and the amount of eligible Activity.

What about Brave browser? I've been using it over a month now and it's definitely faster than Firefox and Chrome. And from what I've read about it, it looks pretty safe. It's legit, and I'm using it too. Plus, we get money from viewing their ads. Not bad.

If you were allowed to go negative you'd be kicking the can down the road but it wouldn't help you in the long run. You would still run out of merits and assuming you'd have to pay the "loan" back you could end up being out of merits even longer.
Can he "pause" his Merit status? Like saying, "I've run out of Merits until (date)".

Seems that at the time of posting, he's only 1 post which is about the VPS on Telegram. Not sure if that guy has been perm banned or not.

Thanks, now I can start one too and be a Merit whore. Oh wait
|
|
|
Oh wow, that guy now has 3 negative flags? That really escalated quickly! Didn't expect a newbie to suddenly shoot all the way up to Full Member but it did raise a little suspicion. Guess TMAN's not gonna get his refund

I wrote a signature rotator a few years ago. If you have your own hosting, you could check the URL that is invoking your sig, and vary it accordingly. Woud that break the forum rules?
On reflection, I think that could have been using a banner, rather than a text stream.
One concern I could think of is that other than the owner of the host, there's no way to check if the rotator(s) are possible rule-breakers. For instance, my rotators would render a valid 300 x 200 banner on subforums A and B but I could sneak in an illegal 500 x 400 banner on subforum C. That is as long as the CM (if I joined a campaign) doesn't find out or I don't post on subforum C, or nobody cares to browse through my posts..
