I can confirm they can't manipulate the lottery draw. The drawing method is quite good and provably fair as they claim.

They don't need the House ID to win the prize. You will know it if you do some math.
I ticket cost 25k satoshi and with that 25000*5,954,089 = 1488.52225000 BTC

I'm not saying they are making that much profit(Number could be lying) but they can afford a Lambo giveaway easily with those stats.

The number isn't lying but we only sold 7554 tickets the rest were given away for wagering.

7554*0.00025000 = 1.88850000 BTC

Is it fair to say that even if the rest of the tickets are funded from money that was given to people who wagered money, that the free money given to them, might have been withdrawn and not wagered, so it was a win-win situation for Freebitco.in, if that money was used to buy Lambo tickets?

The money given for the wagering was just coming back to the site for the draw.  Huh  I reckon it would be better if you offered multiple smaller prizes, but still something desirable to reduce the cost of the prize for the site. (Something like electric scooters or cheaper electric cars.)  Wink

your account is still a newbie so people will not believe in newbies still high reputation but it is believed, if you want to make sales of your cryptocurrency then it is better to look for other ways compared to this thread, not me downgrading the newbie is the reality.

Sorry, i don't have a time for scrolling forums, i'am not a 13 years old.

Wow, so everyone using this forum is 13 years old? You will not get customers by insulting people on this platform.  Roll Eyes  You know the creator of this technology "Satoshi Nakamoto" used this forum.. right? Do you think people like Gavin Andresen and Andreas Antonopoulos and Hal Finney and Nick Szabo are teens?

You are rubbing people the wrong way, before you even managed to get their attention.  Roll Eyes  A lot of the people frequenting this forum have large businesses or they are invested in the third party services that are associated with Crypto currencies.  Roll Eyes

5763  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I know a bit of cryptography, what can I do about it? on: November 04, 2019, 08:13:33 AM
The problem is that you do not know enough to create something or to develop something from scratch with the knowledge you have now and that is what people are looking for.

The "Blockchain" is a thing now, and more and more people are looking for developers with "Blockchain" knowledge and experience, so I would suggest that you focus on doing more research on Blockchain technologies and how it works now.

Create your own Alt coin and play around with that, so that you can show people what you did and that you have experience with that.  Wink
5764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Did China Dominate Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2019, 07:52:32 AM
I think the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" peaked the interest of a lot of the Asian people in those countries, because it is a common name there.  Cheesy  So they started to investigate and people were curious to know who it was and how it worked.

The Chinese people have some of the most remarkable "hackers" in the world and they are very smart people. They also like to be at the forefront of new technologies, so they quickly spotted Bitcoin's potential.  Grin
5765  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | Sportsbook Launches November! 👽 on: November 03, 2019, 08:32:07 AM
Is there any approximate expected timeline for the sportsbook? I know some beta users have been playing it for a while and we have seen the screenshot of it but it is still not in the website itself, it would be lovely to know when everyone will be able to play it as well. I know it shouldn't be rushed and we should be waiting for it to be perfected before we start playing and all that, having a 100% ready game is more important than the deadline.

However, knowing at least a deadline (which could be postponed if there are some troubles) would be lovely, at least we could have some sort of countdown in our minds that we focus ourselves to. I love gambling on stake and I love sportsbooks, so I can't wait to gamble here on sports I love as well, odds look great as well so I will give it a try the first chance I get.

I am hoping that we will see some eSports too, because I think there are a lot of people supporting online gaming and there are a lot of tournaments out there that can be included in sports betting.  Wink

Even old games like  StarCraft Esports still have 155K subscribers on their Youtube channels and tournaments like Fortnite had $100 million prize money in the last World Cup, which draws massive attention.  Wink

Eish, #broke_tradah is up to his old tricks again.  Roll Eyes

I won some on the Rugby World Cup final yesterday, so I am happy to report that the money are already reflected in my balance.  Wink I went for the underdog "South Africa" and they won.  Grin

People can say what they want about this site, but the payments on the bets are quick and easy and on time. So, #broke_tradah throw your stones, we still love the site.  Wink

Congratulations are in order for the user that won the Lambo or the bitcoins.  Wink  I can confirm that it was not me who won it.  Sad Sad Sad

I hope this user will post something for us in this thread to give us some insight on who won this. Can the site owner share with us, if the owner contacted him and if he or she preferred to take the bitcoins or the car?

We have been waiting so long for this and curiosity is killing me. I know this is very sensitive information and people would not reveal their real identity, but please post something anonymous.  Wink

We've emailed them to ask if they want the Lambo or the Bitcoin. I'm waiting for a reply.

Looks are like some are still betting for that Lambo, and the round has resetted back to 180 days Cheesy

They're betting on the next Lambo.

Has Wetsuit indicated yet, if he is going to do this again and if it was profitable or not? I guess it is not that simple to work out the profitability of a lucky draw like this.

Just a little suggestion from my side would be that he might have more lucky draws with smaller prices and also shorter waiting periods. Let's say a few XBox or Play stations or expensive phones or something on a regular basis?

He can also have one big prize like the Lambo if it was profitable, but I would much rather prefer one big prize and a lot smaller prices to make more people smile about this.  Wink  Tesla next?
5770  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to avoid amazon price "manipulations" (Black Friday) on: November 01, 2019, 07:29:28 AM
This is actually a very good idea. I know some of the ladies in our community are running their own "Price Watch" WhatsApp group in my local community, where they go around recording prices and then comparing it to "Sale" prices on offer. So they quickly spot if these retailers are trying to fool people.

A very common thing that these companies are doing is to advertise something at a ridiculously low price, but when you get to the shop, they tell you that it already sold out.  Roll Eyes  < I have stood in queues for 8 hours before the Black Friday started and when I was first in the door, the items that I was looking for was supposedly already sold out.>

The employees working at the shop also set aside some of these very cheap items for their friends and family, so when you get there, it is sold out.  Angry
5771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Build THE Community on: November 01, 2019, 07:11:50 AM
If you want to do this properly, then you should register a recognizable domain and create a website to do this. A thread like this will just fade away over time and nobody will use it as a reference.

The main mandate of a project like this should be to educate people on the difference between a centralized and decentralized technology and also the threats associated with centralized Blockchain based technologies.

People should know the difference, because most of these centralized Blockchain based technologies would do more harm than good.  Angry
5772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Just Love the Game of a Totalitarian State on: November 01, 2019, 07:02:32 AM
The only reason why they might be doing this is because they are working on their own Blockchain "GovCoin" and they do not want people to discredit the technology, before they launch it. Unfortunately the people already know the "Blockchain" technology that the Chinese government wants to implement, would be a big threat to their financial privacy and it will also be used to control them.

The Chinese government will have 100% control over the "token" being linked to the Blockchain technology that they will be developing, so they will be able to reverse specific transactions and/or taint specific tokens. (Example : If one of their citizens use the token for something that are against their rules, then those tokens could be blocked or tainted and subsequently render it unusable.)  Roll Eyes

5774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority of blockchain project has lost focus on: November 01, 2019, 06:46:53 AM
why many of so-called blockchain projects these days are scammers, is this was motive behind the technology? many real investors are not confident to participate due to fake blockchain projects all over the internet.

what are your views

No, Bitcoin has no connection to the other "scam" Blockchain projects. They just borrowed the technology and saw a opportunity to create a quick ICO and to link it to some Blockchain projects to cash in on some quick profits.

Will these scam projects influence Bitcoin? Yes, it will... the media and the uninformed public does not make a clear distinction between Bitcoin and scam ICO's... they just blame Bitcoin for everything, when something goes wrong.  Tongue
5775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share Your Experiences on: November 01, 2019, 06:41:18 AM
The first time I was introduced to Bitcoin was at a friends party at his house, but I did not take the guy serious when he was talking about this, because he looked like a real "crazy" guy.  Roll Eyes  Now that I think about it, I might have replaced that guy and when I start talking about Bitcoin, people might think I am crazy.  Wink

In any way, I did not struggle to buy any bitcoins back then, because "crazy guy" was a early adopter and he was keen to sell bitcoins to me at the higher price.  Grin
5776  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: October 31, 2019, 06:29:08 AM
Now you need to complite two captcha to pick up 21 satoshi, maybe you should come up with something to keep users? For example, some simple logical task whose results can be used, as the captcha did before, or additionally play a game besides the dice to get more free satoshi.

You do not constantly need to solve two Captchas to get the free Satoshi, the Captcha system just ask you to do that now and again to mix things up and/or when you fail to resolve it on the first attempt.  Tongue

I use the Captcha system every day for several different things and it is not a regular thing that you have to solve two or more Captchas to proceed.

A more simple verification system will also be very easy to exploit by bots, so it is a good protection measure to stop these bots.  Wink
I did not do anything to somehow deceive the faucet, I just went in several times a day and at some point there was a need to enter two captcha at once: https://imgur.com/a/7s2Xn1q
Now press low with 90% win chance and lose everything in first game. Just bad luck.

I am not saying that you did something to deceive the faucet, these Captchas are implemented to prevent people with bots to not exploit the faucet. It is just a standard protection mechanism for everyone.  Wink

You can login 24 times a day and you will still get the Captcha and sometimes you will have to solve it a couple of times to get those Satoshis.  Wink  Remember, the Captha system was not developed by Freebitco.in ....they are just using this system to protect them.  Wink
5777  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-23] New Bitcoin ETF Proposal Filed by Gold Fund Veteran on: October 31, 2019, 06:22:20 AM
" However, the Trust will not purchase or sell bitcoin directly but will acquire it via shares called “baskets.”   So, this is just another one of those investment options that are based on something that can be controlled by a internal (centralized) private ledger.  Roll Eyes

I never get excited when companies try to push for a approval for something that are not settled in actual bitcoins, because it adds zero value to Bitcoin. These companies are trying their best to adhere to all the requirements of the SEC and they are totally missing the point on what Bitcoin investments is supposed to be.  Roll Eyes
5778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the Only One Who Forget The Innovation of Bitcoin ? on: October 31, 2019, 06:06:34 AM
Great post - really good read and definetly looks like you put a lot of time into it, although I do disagree with some of your points.

Crowdfunding - don't see how this is a valid point, you could really crowdfund with anything and Bitcoin doesn't really bring anything new to the table here. I'd actually prefer for most of the ICOs and IEO's to be fiat - will be much easier to track then.

Other then that, I agree with you regarding the last couple of features, great structuring.

I do not think it is his/her own work, because he quoted the source.  Wink

The thing is, the demographic of the Bitcoin community changed a lot after the 2017 spike in the price. A lot of speculators took notice of the spike in the price and how much profits could be made and they entered the scene. These speculators could care less about the innovation, because they just want to make a quick profit.  Angry

The early investors are the people who recognize the innovation and they are the people who are building and improving the ecosystem that surrounds it.  Wink
5779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont break rules while trading on: October 31, 2019, 06:01:04 AM
Those tips are all based on emotions and you should never get emotional when it comes to money. Just take a look at the investors in Shark Tank and/or Dragon's Den, they never invest in something with their emotions. They go back to the basics when they analyze a new investment and if the numbers makes sense, they will invest.   Wink

I think proper research is the key to a good investment strategy, because a lot of people are just following the latest trends and whatever is pitched in the media. Tongue
5780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canadian Fund Manager to List Bitcoin Fund on Major Stock Exchange on: October 31, 2019, 05:56:04 AM
I cannot see if it is a cash or asset settled investment option? They say that Gemini would hold custody of the bitcoins and VanEck would develop the solution for them, so it is backed by some reputable financial institutions.  Wink

I wonder if VanEck has given up on trying to get their proposals approved by the SEC in the USA and trying to take this to Canada to see if it has a future there.  Wink   I think it is a good partnership and the Canadian government is more open-minded than the SEC.  Wink

Hope they succeed with this.  Grin
