I hope everyone had the time to watch the third episode because I want to discuss it a lot. Anyone who wants to join to discuss some things here? I’m just here waiting. Tongue
5763  Other / Meta / Re: Should this be considered as plagiarism? on: April 30, 2019, 10:44:48 AM
I was writing it with word file and accidentally posted wrongly with my message. I didn’t intend to post it like that. I like taking serious discussions and thinking how I would relate to it.

@OP. I’m really sorry for my mistake.

*edit

For the minimal changes that happened, I use Grammarly for editing my grammar mistakes and I automatically change everything that it could see. It’s for improvement
5764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: April 30, 2019, 08:45:25 AM
To my analysis both the coins have similar only the naming is different ico and ieo have similar fundamentals of fundraising
What analysis did you consider? I have seen different types of consideration depending on the Soft cap and Hard cap of the projects. How much they are selling their tokens and stuff like that. Basically, I think it's the same with the intention, to form funds and have possible profits in the project.
5765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantages of engaging in quality contributions on the forum. on: April 30, 2019, 05:58:34 AM
One of the easiest and most significant way to contribute to yourself and towards others is reading. I think most of the time, and people tend to skim through on what the post is or what it is all about. No matter the content or how long or how short the post is, basically understanding every word and knowing how the OP is stating it, that's better than just "replying" to the subject or something along those lines.

Engaging towards great posts like this could help more people be attracted to either create or discuss things that are already on the topic. It will only be considered low quality if it has just been repeated over and over again. Basically, the most significant advantage that you can have is increasing your knowledge, which was already highlighted.
5766  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Our capitalist minds don't let us evolve. on: April 30, 2019, 04:24:45 AM
I'll share my opinion about this. Definitely, the priority of most of the people here are the benefits for oneself, and how do they achieve that? It's through profit/money. That's the main goal of everyone and we cannot blame them entirely because that's how people were brought up, knowing that you NEED money to survive, you NEED money to eat, etc. Especially with the current technology now compared to 100 years ago, it's a fast-paced development of technology.

Maybe the power that the corporations have is not able to let go of it because of the money. They have experienced it enough that they don't want to let go and it's how the world goes round and round. Maybe they have the idea of being an environmentalist but they cannot just rapidly change their ways because of "environmental" stuff. It's just like you said, they choose to ignore the fact that they could evolve. That's just pure selfishness. For me, it's definitely Evolution has to have the priority. The environment is the priority, it's OUR home.

1.- 100 years ago Nicola Tesla discover a technology called 'WiTricity', and yes, that's electricity without wires, and if we are not using it now is because the copper wire industry can't die, there is too much money involved.
I don't believe I encountered that term "WiTricity". What I found is that it's been established in 2007 by Marin Soljačić. http://witricity.com/

Any research articles with that? We are just on the verge of wireless charging, and I think it would be a crucial development for Technology.

2.- Ask yourself why people keep going to church in 2019... for simple mortals is about faith, but for the religion is about to make from god their hooker and have him working 24/7-365. And if you think the religion make it for us and not for business, just look all that gold...
People were led to thinking that they need to depend on someone or someone can take blame or something. Little did everyone know that it's us, the person, that makes the decisions, not God or anybody else. So we should be at fault.

3.- We already can make electric cars, the fuel cars make damage to our ambient and contribute to global warming, but the fuel cars production will not stop because #FuckEvolution #MoneyTalks
It's basically how the economy works. People need jobs, they work in a manufacturing company, if they stop, then there would be no work for them. In order for the company to continue having offers for jobs, they need to profit, and when you have profit, you keep manufacturing. That's just how the world works now.

Basically, new things are invented for the improvement of the world we have today, it's just the people who are affected by not being able to let it go completely. It's a hard decision. Might as well get snapped by Thanos. Lol.
5767  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite food؟ on: April 30, 2019, 03:57:37 AM
There is a lot of food that is famous here in the Philippines, just like what @bitcoin31 said that Adobo is delicious. What I like most is the Sour Meat Stew or Sinigang. I really like that a lot and easy to make too. The best way and most relaxed way to cook it is in an Instant Pot.

You could check out some of the food here in this link: https://nomadicboys.com/famous-foods-philippines/
(Just found it on Google)
5768  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Do we want our own coin? on: April 30, 2019, 01:45:13 AM
How about the other coins mentioned here previously, like that Loyal Coin ? I have not yet had the time to look at them or read up on them, but they also did not attract my attention, granted that I do not pay much attention anyway to plenty of other alts and even current events.
I know there are a lot of representatives of the Loyal Coin and they are under the NEM blockchain IIRC. This is their site btw, https://loyalcoin.io/

Do they fulfill what we need or want out of a coin?
I see that they are trying to implement the blockchain system and payments to haveactual application with your coins. I guess with all their merchants listed here. It's still not so commercialized IMO

Eventually, one of the goals is to get it listed on our own PH based exchanges, namely rebit.ph and coins.ph and a couple others (the ones that have been granted licenses by Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas or BSP.)
Supporting our economy will never be wrong as we are Filipinos.

If we could just attract competent developers, this can become a reality. But as with any other coin, it will not help everybody, and it will still be an experiment that has risks. All I can do is help it start and grow a little at a time. Growth does not necessarily mean price or marketcap.

I have other ideas, I have not yet posted about here, but would still like to get feedback.
I think there are great developers, there should just be funds surrounding it.

I can't wait for your future ideas and how we could do something with it and probably have more Filipinos learning about bitcoin or the practical applications with it. Making things easier with payments, etc.
5769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Youtubers promoting bitcoin unexpectedly on: April 30, 2019, 01:20:20 AM
I have watched different unboxing videos with regards to the "dark web mystery box," but it isn't a mystery at all. They are just overreacting to "what could be" or "what happened" with that specific item. I can't find the video that I watched, but I remember that some YouTuber is claiming that it's a hunted chalice of some sort. And you know what it looks like? It's like this.

It can be bought from eBay.

5770  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Best way to Practice the English Language [Speech and Writing] on: April 30, 2019, 01:01:22 AM
Thanks OP for an useful topic. In term of speaking only, I usually talk to Siri as a way of practicing. It's interesting to see Siri can understand my speech and give me proper answers. I'll try downloading and using this G-board software. However I don't think it can much improve my academic writing skills. I prefer old school method (with pencil and paper) to enhance my writing.
In my experience, G-Board was the best response to my speech. Regards to the android phone, they are the best response when speaking.

I don't have anything against what you are saying "old school method", but this is not so much related to my topic.

Great method, i would never think that google assistant could be an english teacher, but you are right, it could be a smart way to practice the spoken english. I have Siri configured on english with the same intention, but i never use it. So, i will try to use your method this week and see if i have some good results.
It won't be a teacher but you could improve yourself personally by practicing how you speak. Duoling, IIRC, could teach you.
5771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Best way to Practice the English Language [Speech and Writing] on: April 29, 2019, 02:43:58 PM
Picking-up an English accent (British, American, etc.) in one of the most difficult things to do, since you have often have to train your vocal cords on pronouncing phoneme that are not natural to your mother tongue.
Having to practice your voice and your tongue would be hard because it would be unnatural. I think with practice, it could still be done, just like British actors doing American accents, etc.

Speaking English regularly is part of the path to improve pronunciation, but more often than not, that is not on the day-to-day agenda.

I think this is the one that needs to be done. If you want to really practice, doing it every day would make your progress much faster.

However, I mentioned in a much narrower range, in the forum, people don't need to speak (actually the bitcointalk.org has not had features like livestreaming, etc. so far) so the first two important things for members whom want to improve their English and communicate better in the forum are: Reading and Writing.
Don't you think that once you have learned how to write, you wouldn't get to speak? Speaking and communicating with someone who is good at it could help you develop the consistency that is needed for you to be efficient in English. The big effective reason that I could think about when doing this method is that you are hitting two birds with one stone. Speaking, like how you are going to communicate IRL and forming thoughts like in writing instantaneously.

Did I saw only applicable to a mobile phone? (how about on laptop?).
I think it works with a laptop too, knowing that it also has a mic. There are some software examples but I haven't tried it all the way. Mobile phones are like everywhere and most people have it, that's why I think it's necessary that I focus on that one.

Be careful, using the phone while driving "even if you use this method" is illegal and may expose you to accidents.

Duolingo & Grammarly will give you better results.
You shouldn't really use your phone. I'm doing it handsfree, so I could keep my eyes on the road every time.

I haven't tried Duolingo but I saw it has good reviews learning a different language.

That was a f**king great episode! Grin
Hey no spoiling!  Cheesy

Anyway, I can't wait to check out the latest episode. They say that Arya is the real MVP and something like that. I just know that it's longer than an hour, with that episode.

5774  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't read it if you get offended easily. on: April 29, 2019, 07:35:31 AM
As someone who respects people who respect them back, I believe that's the best way to earn it. Show them that you are doing nothing terrible and understand that you are doing something for yourself or for any other reason why you are doing what you do. For example, for bounty, why do you do it? Are you able to present the correct ways and not just spamming and copypasting a content? As long as you don't step on someone and you don't bash somebody else, I think you are good to go. Don't think about what others think as long as you know you are doing the right thing.
5775  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coin.ph to Binance or Directy buying btc to binance using credit card on: April 29, 2019, 03:19:54 AM
Yung sa Binance, hindi ko alam na pwede pala credit card. OTC ba yung sakanila? Hindi ko pa na try.

Not sure dahil di ko pa natry bumili ng BTC sa Binance through credit card, pero pwede naman ata makita ung prices sa Binance diba? So I think madali mo naman atang macocompare ung prices. And yes, malaki talaga fees sa Coins.ph.
Yung trading fee pa nga lang and conversion fee, ang laki na. Pano pa pag malaking transactions pa.
5776  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [WTS] ACER Aspire ES1-432-C8AR Notebook (Bitcoin Accepted) on: April 29, 2019, 03:12:38 AM
Kakabili ko lang ng laptop last week sir sayang naman,   Sa tao ko rin nabili yun nga lang ang ito Lenovo maganda rin kasi ito.
May tawad pa ba yan sir? If Manila area magkano kaya aabutin ang shipping fee? Incase lang para pangregalo ko sa nanay ko sa birthdag niya this May.
+ Shipping fee na lang. Less than PHP 500 lang yun for sure.

Sagad na 'to na price, laki ng binaba niyan at hindi pa nagamit yung laptop masyado. Feeling ko pag shipping fee sa manila, mura na lang.
5777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much crypto payment projects but little people accepting crypto payments on: April 29, 2019, 02:06:44 AM
I think some of the projects that have surfaced and created a focus on profit-making, no more actual application. Most of the time they appear then disappear without a trace, and no updates can be found. I have seen promising projects, and one of them is cryptobuyer. I'm not affiliated with them or anything, and I know that they have been running since 2015 even without the cryptocurrency boom and you are sure that it's going to be implemented with the people. I have seen that they are the ones performing the crypto payments all around the hyperinflated areas, and merging with the true partnerships to improve their standing. They are the ones that are looking promising, especially in the future, actual applications are the real deal.
5778  Local / Pilipinas / Re: LEARN TO TRADE ON CRYPTOCURRENCY WITH THIS GREAT PLATFORM! on: April 29, 2019, 12:57:26 AM
Just like TradingView pero mas bago. First thing I notice is wala sila nung free chart para sa mga visitor na walang account. Ayos to, bagong community na naman for collaboration, sana madaming crypto traders kesa tradingview Grin
Based on the images above, I think they are integrating the system that TradingView has, not creating their own. Meron nga kong account diyan sa Investagrams and consistent din naman mga content nila. Hindi ko masyado naaaral or nababasa mga material nila pero I think they are okay, nakikita ko lang sa notifications sa application nila on the phone.
5779  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [WTS] ACER Aspire ES1-432-C8AR Notebook (Bitcoin Accepted) on: April 29, 2019, 12:31:05 AM
Bump! Still available
5780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Complete Guide to Cryptocurrency Arbitrage | BitRage on: April 29, 2019, 12:29:31 AM
it will be more good if you can make a video about how the application/arbitrage is working
but i saw that the website and there is a limited people can buy it, can i ask about how many licenses left to sold?
There are a lot of resources with Arbitrage, you could easily Google it or on YouTube.

For the licenses left, I only have a few remaining slots that I could give. There are already a lot of people pre-ordering the BitRage License from other resellers, and I have a few slots left to sell. I suggest getting one right now.
