5761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin, a future is not clear on: September 02, 2019, 03:42:52 PM
After researching the news sources, I decided to pledge my land and houses worth $ 40000. I use it to buy 4 Bitcoin
I will rent a small apartment with my family
I'm happy now
I believe that the BTC will increase to $ 20k next year.
At $40,000 for 4bitcoin simply means that you bought when price was around $10,000 per coin. My question is, "why did you not buy a few months earlier when price was around $3,200 this year? It's a dangerous thing to chase price. And the risk you took diving in is a huge one, I must confess.

BOUNTY & AIRDROP

1 Token = 0.05 $

The token will list on  Exmarket and probit Exchanges on Within 19-24 th of AUGUEST
My guess is that you meant August where you wrote Auguest. Again, the date for your expected listing on the two exchanges have past without a hint of the project getting listed. Thirdly, why is there no data at all for Exmarkets? https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/exmarkets and it is one of the exchanges you mentioned.
5763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: its time bounty hunters should start taking actions on: September 02, 2019, 01:38:22 PM
your problem is that you only care about yourself and your own payment. as long as they pay you, you won't care what kind of scam you were advertising.
the fact is that these ICO tokens that people have been advertising for the past two years have been 90% pure s cams and the 10% remaining were shitcoins. so you really can't complain when a scammer creating a bounty campaign to sell a scam token with no use is refusing to pay you or changes the rules, ... it is what scammers do.
Your generalization, "the fact is that these ICO tokens that people have been advertising for the past two years have been 90% pure s cams and the 10% remaining were shitcoins" is at best misleading. There have been worthy ICOs whose coins are still doing well in the market. However, I agree that most are shitty but that should also leave a certain percentage out for those worthy one. Saying 90% pure and remaining 10% doesn't leave any percent, does it?
5764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: September 02, 2019, 10:43:23 AM
The vast majority of new crypto investors that I am aware of are anxious and restless these days. Gone are the days when early crypto investors  invest in coins and watch it develop over time, newbies and new investors are too in hurry to make money and many turned crypto investment into life jobs.
The benefits of an investment is called returns which takes years to accomplish so its never going to be easy for those looking for short term ROI and yet fundraising like IEO still brings short term profit for smart investors,i think almost all new crypto investors lacks patience
Yes, I have also noticed that trend too. I guess it has to do with the mindset of these impatient investors that the crypto industry is a quick way to make money. This is a wrong mindset and should be corrected as such. We all have to realise that cryptocurrency should be treated as a long term investment, not short term.
5765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: September 01, 2019, 08:02:13 PM
My experience so far with bounty this year have been bad and it is not as profitable as it used to be. Mainly bounty hunters don't really get good projects that will pay and those that pay just pay a penny which is not worth the time and energy put into the work.
My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?
Let me start with your question - Yes, it's possible to make something substantial from bounties this day. But you must be careful in identifying the good projects to run adverts for if you must profit from it. Look out for projects with use-case and utility. I have had a fair share too of supporting unprofitable projects in the near past. I guess every veteran member here does too. Now, I am highly selective of bounties I indulge.
5766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢[ANN] Official WIPCOIN (WIPC) POW | MASTERNODE | INVESTMENT - x16r 📢 on: August 31, 2019, 03:40:56 PM
last time there where other announcements without a qt-wallet from the start or even no announcement on bitcointalk , and weeks later , after mining starts , there was finaly an announcement

this is even bad for me , the wallet should be here on OP not in discord
Maybe this is a biblical handwriting on the wall, a premonition of what is to come at the end. Developers and teams always take investors and bounty hunters for granted.
5767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Reveal on: August 30, 2019, 04:06:59 PM
Enough about this Satoshi Nakamoto identity bullshit.  People should just understand the fact that he/she doesn't wanna make his/her identity known to the world.  I still don't really get why people are eager to know the identity of Satoshi. Let's focus on the relevance of Bitcoin and blockchain technology..

The identity is equally important for posterity. I have hardly heard of an innovation that is not associated or linked to someone physically where we know the real identity including their family lineage. So if people are seeking to know the identity of who is linked with bitcoin is alright too.
There is nothing wrong with people seeking to know the physical identity of the personality (some people believe Satoshi isn't just a person but a group of persons) behind Bitcoin. But the truth is that I think the world is past caring who this Satoshi is. Guess what? Finding this out won't even advance the course of Bitcoin. It may even crash it.
5768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 30, 2019, 02:52:26 PM
This is bad for Chipmixer.  If the authority decided to investigate on this and targeted Chipmixer to shutdown regardless of the investigation, they can easily do it since they have a proof in their hand that a mixing service had been used to launder a hacked BTC.  I wonder why Chipmixer did not suspend those transactions.., Did they failed to track that those BTC were hacked?
I don't see how this is really bad for Chipmixer because I believe laundering is part of what tumblers do, except the management will want to act Hollier-Than-Thou now by feigning ignorance. Otherwise it is a legitimate business for the anonymity they provide for clients. Criminals will from time to time get in the mix and patronize such services.
5769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Reveal on: August 29, 2019, 08:09:18 PM
Nice timing to post your thread. I was just reading in Meta board and someone is saying that Theymos must be Satoshi. Maybe you should have a debate or discussion with with that guy?  Cheesy
Honestly, I have also thought about Theymos being Satoshi too. But the truth remains that even if Theymos isn't, he must have an idea who the Satoshi dude is. I hope someone won't accuse me here of a conspiracy theory for this.
5770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC hacked from blockchain wallet on: August 29, 2019, 06:40:59 PM
Once the private key is in your hands you're responsible for the funds. Truly speaking someone might have known about your private keys and passwords. Myself too have experienced loss of funds from my blockchain wallet which happened due to my negligence of keeping private keys securely.

Quote
If you carefully read my post, I always double-check and secure it, no one has access to my private keys or passwords. This is the case of the blockchain wallet security, please take some time to read similar posts, it happens these days on a regular basis.
This really is a frustrating experience I must say. I feel your loss. But I also think what bxmail said isn't wrong. I have used blockchain for close to three years now but I haven't experienced such. This is where I encourage people to always access their wallet through the app and not through web. In all,, we should at all time safeguard our PKey and passwords. You never can tell who is lurking and waiting for the unguarded hour to strike.
5771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think ? Is this an opportunity to get in or get out on: August 29, 2019, 02:23:25 PM
Bitcoin has become more popular in the financial world due to its sudden growth but When I see exchanges there is a high percentage of people who are trying to sell there Bitcoins to make temporary gains using current price increase and some fear this is a temporary situation so they use this moment to abandon the market but My personal opinion is they doesn't understand this is a time that any investor should invest more into Bitcoins because after along time BTC has shown us it is not a Bubble or just another financial failure so as investors we should have a clear understanding in order to make this opportunity an advantage
Yes, I think that bubble belief was tested in 2018 and Bitcoin didn't burst. It remains till today, proving that the new tech has come to stay. On the other hand, as per investment, I believe those who sell off from time to time on exchanges do so for trading. And to do this one needs the required technical knowledge to meander through the murky waters of crypto trading. In summary, people should take their chances on when they get in and out. Nobody knows the perfect entry except in hindsight.
5772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 28, 2019, 07:21:23 PM
HODLING. The laziest of them all. All you need to do is to buy a definite amount and wait for it to get higher. The only enemy is the long term patience and greedyness. Its tiring but i continue fighting.

HODLING is an investment, it's not something anyone can say is for lazy people, and I don't see how you can consider HODLING as a hard way to earn bitcoin. When the person take $11500 and buy 1 BTC and hold 1 BTC for 5 years for example, by the end of those 5 years that person will still have 1 BTC, they will only have many USD or less USD. HODLING is not for raising BTC, is for earning more USD. Trading can also serve to increase BTC or to increase USD.
I quite agree with your perspective on this. In addition however, it's not just enough to put a peg on a timeline when to dispose/sell off, one has to read the rhythm of the market to do this. For instance, there were investors who sold off at close to Bitcoin ATH of 2017 when they saw that the astronomical rise in price of Bitcoin at that time was only sustained by hype and FOMO and not technical even though they initially planned to sell off in 2020 or after that. Just know the right time to sell off while hodling to increase your dollar value.
5773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't governments illegalized bitcoin transactions? on: August 28, 2019, 04:43:52 AM
I have heard some stories about making bitcoin transactions illegal. It's all been a humor and I don't think any government have officially made bitcoin transactions illegal.
That marked in bold is my way of showing emphasis. So, you really don't think so? Then what do we call what goes on in China and the Chinese government's altitude towards the use of Bitcoin? To ban something simply means to declare it illegal, isn't it?
5774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: August 27, 2019, 01:58:52 PM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
This is quite insightful but you really can't blame the developers sometimes for their coins turning out shitty and bounty hunters not getting the reward of their hard work for several weeks. The market decides this - whether a coin is useful or not. However, I think bounty hunters need to go through the WP of projects and find out the intention of the project before helping to promote it. Sadly, most hunters are always in a hurry to apply without checking this out first. Hunters should blame themselves sometimes.
5775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: August 27, 2019, 11:49:50 AM
It usually surprise me when I see investors complaining about a good project that didn't increase  or providing returns immediately it got listed on the exchange and they term it scam or say different things like rekted.
But the truth is, are these investors investing in the project because they believe in it or are they just in it for the immediate profit and move on?  Because if you are investing in a project because you believe in it then you should be willing to HODL the tokens and wait for the team to gradually deliver the project and meet its necessary roadmap before you judge it and not condemn it on its first listing.
Simply put - Investors are like the electorate. We are always eager and anxious to see our elected officials churn out results as soon as we vote them into elective positions. What is there to dilly dally for again? Campaigns and electioneering are over just like ICOs are, we want the promises fulfilled. So, don't blame any anxious investors because they want the promised ROI as soon as possible.
5776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bad developers have tarnished ICO! on: August 27, 2019, 09:26:20 AM
that in the past ICO projects performed very well if they used ERC20 tokens or projects built on established platforms. because it has the potential to grow well and reduce risk when compared to creating new technology. but now on the contrary I don't see ICO functioning properly even though it's built on an existing platform like ERC20.
I will not blame the platform because the platform has been built in such a way, but I will blame the developer, Why? because most developers have misused this for crypto schemes to get rich and most project failures are based on the background of developers who do not have extensive knowledge and deliberately tarnish the ICO project's bad image.
The good old days of ICO you tried to paint here was the pre-2018 years. I witnessed a bit of it and that was a period most ICOs gave great ROI. There was hardly any coin that got listed on the CMC at that time for less than $1, no matter how lowly it was sold at ICO. It was a glorious time before fraudulent devs and their teams spoilt everything. It was this era that even gave rise to the market hitting above $800billion in cap. I am sure some people here don't even know there was a time the market got to that level, seeing it now at below $300b.

Which exchanges are you planning,at least any medium exchange? or going for any free listing exchanges?
I think it's too early to expect the dev to give you assurances of a particular exchange. He has to apply and then expect to be accepted or rejected and this will be when the project is almost at its completion stage, not before it has started.
5779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Trader on: August 24, 2019, 06:52:22 PM
If you want a place to start I think you are already in the right place. You can start by reading on related threads, from there you get people's view and experiences. It is a wise man that learns from other's mistake. Don't look further, you can be fine with trading on your own.
You're right about watching or reading from other traders to form an opinion. But that's where that ends because real trading surpasses all that. OP needs to engage in Demo Trading first to get his hand dirty and then in real life trading to stabilize his emotions. Greed and impatience are the two trade killers and they easily mess up with one's emotion. To be a successful trader, one needs a good control of them.
5780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin market dominance rising fast? on: August 24, 2019, 05:42:14 PM
Honestly, the dominance of Bitcoin is alarming at almost 70% of the general market. But I think it's because investors are yet to show confidence in altcoins after suffering great and colossus losses in 2018. I wish we csn revisit the 2017 era where so much confidence was reposed on altcoins and the general market cap soared to over $800b. At that time Bitcoin dominance plummeted to below 40% and the market saw an unparrelled growth like no other.  With this current dominance, it will be very difficult for the crypto industry to record any major growth.
