I don't care what someone's beliefs are... But being blinded by an ideology at a level that they've become unable to communicate is just sad.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and belief (sometimes sadly), the only thing that makes it an issue is interpretation and throwing their opinion in other peoples faces, those people are all around us and are more anoying than game requests on facebook. It seams that op is going through crisis of some sort, but whatever the reason, sometimes bad things realy open your eyes. Everyone is entitled to their opinion indeed. But if a belief is so deeply rooted into someone's head that it won't let him communicate with friends and family it's him that has the problem.

I don't see how this could even remotely be good news for bitcoin. Banks cover such losses so their costumes lose nothing. It's ridiculously easy for a newbie to lose his bitcoins if he doesn't take proper steps to secure his wallet. I've been a bitcoin supporter for two years, I've yet to see a way that makes 'bank grade' security for storing bitcoin accessible to the average user.

That's not impossible but really that volume can't be sustained forever. We'll have to see what happens when it's down again.

It's outdated already. So why bother?

I just had a look at my ratings and noticed someone used them to advertise. Posted an email address along with an irrelevant message. I was thinking that this could be exploitable since (as fars as I know) mods don't have access to edit or remove trust ratings.

Not much to add really, you can find such topics in the services board at the moment. Just be aware that it's fraud and if you decide to try it you're the one taking the risk. It must be one of the first times that someone advertises that here. If it's allowed now, it will be allowed in the future. What's next? Drug trafficking? Edit: That seems illegal pretty much everywhere (and also extremely unethical), so I removed it. Mission success. Thank you theymos.

Our of interest today, I had a look at our faucet stats. On a typical day, we're giving out about 1000 bits (500 faucet claims) so it has it hasn't been a big burden. However, one thing caught my eye, our most active fauceter: Here is the list of faucet claim time (and time since last claim): http://privatepaste.com/6c2fbcdda5Hard to tell if that's a bot or an insomniac I would be pretty confident saying it's a human. He seems to sleep from 18:00 to 23:00 or thereabouts. Assuming your times are UTC, and that he's sleeping 1am to 6am his time, he's 7 hours east of Greenwich, which probably puts him in China or Indonesia. Does that fit with the IP address? Pretty sure know who this is. Also Primedice's most active faucet player (Assuming it's the same guy judging on sleeping times etc.). Bloke definitely isn't a bot. Closer to insomniac. some people make a living doing this? I honestly remember a report from a website saying that homeless people were living on bitcoin. Actually just found it! It's from 2013! Price when it was posted was ~125$. I'd love to know what happened to those guys... http://www.wired.com/2013/09/bitcoin-homeless/all/
