5781  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Expert Charged With Aiding North Korea on: December 03, 2019, 12:54:55 PM
Well, I kind of get the idea of why US would actually still arrest him despite the positive sessions he had with NK. It's kind of like, "Why are you allying yourself with the enemy" kind of thing, and I'd say it attacked the pride of the US. I looked up a bit myself and he truly had some worthwhile seminars and sessions that fully discussed the basics of crypto, but only the BASICS. Guess the US is more of a control freak than I thought.
5782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This is definitely huge for Binance traders! on: December 03, 2019, 11:30:21 AM
Grats to all Binancers ( if such a term exists) out there. Could be a potential increase in Binance users cause of this, since some might have avoided this because of the fee's in transferring from your own accounts.

Does this will make binance users will do transaction without trading and they will just sell their coins directly to the people itself to avoid the fee, but it will increase scam if many people are doing this
I highly doubt it. You already told the reason for it tbh. It's a potential scam if you ever do such a thing. Binance didn't even make the feature for this type of transaction. Even if they added a confirmation thingy, it'd still be impossible to perform such actions through this newly added feature.

  • Mababawasan ng pagkakakitaan yung mga namemeke ng dokumento ("gawang Recto")
Bruh HAHAHAH. Mas maganda maimplement na nila yung Id for all na napakatagal nang pinaplano IIRC, para mas madaling maimplement yung existence ng digital certificates. Imagine, one tap mo lang ng id mo, sa job interviews makikita na agad nila yung mga certificates, resume and such mo. Easy life diba haha. Kaso mukhang napakahirap maimplement, lalo na sa mga problema na nangyayari dito. Pero at least, kaya mag start ng simula na kahit local or as is lang
5784  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Humans Have Free Will? on: December 03, 2019, 06:22:23 AM
I'm pretty sure what you've stated is the process of decision making, which isn't really considered as free will.

Process differs from the action, and then there's also the subconscious action where the process is forgotten and the action is just taken. Free will is basically you creating a decision, much like creating something, aka the result. The process of creation is the whatever thingy majig you said, that is imo only.
5785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is still really bullish (Unpopular opinion) on: December 02, 2019, 02:18:46 PM
Dude, you're conflicting yourself. The idea was a MONTHLY chart. Of course, based on that observation, BTC would seem bearish instead of bullish. We all bloody know BTC is bullish in the long term. Your explanation is already quite contradicting with the idea of the chart you are currently judging. BTC dropped from 10k to 6.5k and stands at 7.2k, is that bullish? No, its bearish, if you look at it from a MONTHLY perspective. BTC went from 3k to 7.2 from start of the year to now, is it bullish? Yes, if you look at it from a YEARLY perspective.
5786  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase Holds a Whopping 966,230 Bitcoin ($7B) in Cold Wallet on: December 02, 2019, 12:39:10 PM
Imagine if coinbase went crazy and let loose this amount of BTC in the world. Well, by the end though, these amounts of BTC would still spread over the globe to various users to be used as a form of currency. We all are waiting for that time that Fiat is replaced by crypto, and well, holding or storing coins impacts the idea of replacement negatively. Besides, why store something that is supposed to be used right?

I'm not sure they should be advertising this. I just hope they have really really FIERCE security and are guarding their stash like hawks.
It's like their saying to hackers that there's a big pot of gold right here lmao. If someone actually managed to access their stash, welp, GG coinbase. Better luck next time.
5787  Economy / Economics / Re: Hi Excuse me Are currencies a "store of value on: December 02, 2019, 09:50:42 AM
Well, dollar lost its value because of the over printing done by the banks. They did it to stimulate the growth of the economy they said, but it was over done. It has far exceeded the purpose of stimulation which resulted in the global debt of the world reaching an astronomic amount. This was why a lot of analysts have released their ideas that gold/silver is increasing in importance right now, and even banks have ideas of hoarding gold and silver so in case of an economic crash, they could fall back to it.
5788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 02, 2019, 08:55:43 AM
Ask around in Trading Discussion instead of here, much suitable to be discussed over there instead plus it holds discussions regarding tips and tricks. And also, there's no such thing as trading safely, more like trading while having minimal risks is the optimal term to be used. By the end of the day, you would still lose funds one way or another. Just study and learn, experience the trading market, and you should be able to learn properly.
5789  Economy / Economics / Re: Canadian Regulator Green-Lights Bitcoin Fund IPO on: December 02, 2019, 05:41:45 AM
Well, this already paves the way for a lot of investors to become exposed to BTC, they just have to take a small step right now. When compared to the past of BTC investment, this already shows a promising involvement, unlike when BTC had a serious amount of risks that are involved in it when investing. Plus, this could bring positive development with crypto replacing fiat currency right now. We can only wait and see if it manages to bring the results we want though.
5790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket expert on: December 01, 2019, 11:09:08 AM

Well, long story short I need a person who will go to the matches and bet afterpoints, Im gonna be responsible for the techincal part (accounts, money etc) and provide all instructions to a person who goes to the matches.

The problem is cricket isnt popular in my country and nonone of my friends knows anybody who knows anything about cricket
Are you asking for a middle man or are you asking for someone to just use your cash and wage on someone using his or her own knowledge? Quite confusing not gonna lie. Plus, finding someone without much prior details to entice them wouldn't be that appealing, that is imo, Plus, at least, leave a way to contact you other than bitcoin email like a fake social media account to make the conversation a bit more faster and clearer.
5791  Local / Pilipinas / Re: "Development" and "Improvement" of the Society: Discussion about Blockchain. on: December 01, 2019, 10:36:22 AM
Mas inclined ako na matuto or makinig sa mga discussions and seminars about Blockchain right now instead of crypto. Mas naccurious ako sa possibilities and limitations niya as a system and ano yung mga ways na pwedeng maimplement to sa like everything, para mas maging efficient, safe and absolutely controlled ng user yung items niya. That's why sayang at di ako nakapakinig sa seminar ng OP. G na g ako sa discussions about it right now since medyo na peak yung curiosity ko for like a month now, di lang talaga makapag indepth study since may studies pang iba na mas need ipriority.
5792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for newbies to trading on: December 01, 2019, 08:13:00 AM
Add the ability to know when to stop, or make a limit when trading, PLUS trade only what you can trade. There are quite a few important things to note in trading but these too are important so that you wouldn't lose much when you're actually losing in a trade. Plus, asking for loans to invest isn't really an optimal thing to do so trade what you can.
5793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best copy trading platforms? on: December 01, 2019, 05:59:15 AM
Try out eToro. Pretty positive reviews plus it's pretty much a trading platform that's advertised their copy trading function since like forever. Pretty sure most reviews on it are pretty good as well, just that it lacks in functionalities as a trading platform should have, but since you're pretty much looking for a copy trading function only, try it out.
5794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't ask for a loans without collateral if you are new. on: November 30, 2019, 03:15:12 PM
Who loans for free and only lets some words as proof of it? Like, if that happened, I wouldn't get the loan even if they begged me to. Like, hell, thats already a 100% legit scam. Collateral is there so that not only will the loaner have some kind of insurance, it also ensures that the transaction and process are legit and safe. You never know what might happen with that kind of situation where only words as used as insurance, A lot of people have their ways after all.
5795  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Type of crypto school on: November 30, 2019, 11:18:04 AM
Erm no. It doesn't really suit, creating a school out of learning crypto and blockchain technology. Sure, solid terms or technical terms could be taught, but that's it. Heck, you can even find those simply by browsing the forum and the internet, no need to create a school for it. It's like you wanted to create another subject that's close to being a discussion instead of a lesson, which is really bad as a subject in a school. A discussion is not meant for a school where learning occurs.

Plus, most of the crypto discussions after the technicalities involve quite a bit of trading, which in the end, again, a discussion type of thing. Not a learning type of thing. It's kinda useless, believe me. I've had some subjects in college where we only had to discuss things and oh boy, that was really boring. I'd rather engage in a 1 on 1 argument rather than discuss with the whole class what the color blue in the painting meant.
5796  Economy / Exchanges / Re: another crypto exchange hacked on: November 30, 2019, 05:03:56 AM
Well unless they will cover up the losses, It seems that South Korean exchanges are favorite targets of hackers or maybe some exchanges security are just weak. This is not one of the biggest stolen funds of all but if this happens regularly traders will begin to lose confidence trading in big or small exchanges.
Well, I'm pretty sure they just pick any exchanges they deem to be hackable plus could bring quite a bit of profit in their pockets. Luckily, they decided to be honest and completely open up with the issue and took responsibility for it. This just goes to show that any vulnerability available to the hackers could easily be taken advantage of, especially with the ever growing community of crypto which seems like a big fat lamb to them.

Also since OP didn't link the article, here it is
5797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help in Trading on: November 30, 2019, 03:52:52 AM
You could also try going for local exchanges or private trading. A lot cheaper since transaction fees ain't that expensive. You should also probably brush up on daily trading techniques and mechanics since that is what basically you are doing right now. Find a pair that suits you, and well, see how it goes. That's pretty much how day trading works anyway.
5798  Economy / Exchanges / Re: IDAX: Uh, oh! We’re in trouble! on: November 30, 2019, 02:31:47 AM
Oof. Unlucky for those who tried to sign up with them. It could actually just be a conspiracy against the CEO since there isn't really any official information about it, but well, who knows right?

There’s also someone from LinkedIn who contacted me that she is from IDAX that if I’m interested for one of the projects that I’m involved back then to list with them. However, I tried to find that woman on LinkedIn and her past conversation, but I can’t find it anymore.

I even find IDAX as one of the platinum sponsors for The Capital by CoinMarketCap a couple of weeks ago at the Victoria Theater Singapore along with Vechain and AAX. I attended that event by the way. I was surprised that even with the scam accusations against them, they’re having the guts to show up in these events.

Now it gets even worse because the CEO is nowhere to be found and the cold storage is under lockdown. Their reputation is at stake now. If they really want to regain that reputation, the CEO has to show up no matter what sort of hole is he hiding now.
Might not actually be from IDAX and could just be scamming you ngl. Plus, they have to attend these events. This is a potential scapegoat for them or at least nullify a bit of these scam accusations from the community after all. Sadly about their CEO, IDAX really turned upside down with all of these issues surrounding them. I really doubt they could make a comeback in the near future.
5799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dump - The Worst Thing on: November 29, 2019, 05:15:28 PM
Dump dump dump dump. A word we all hate tbh, especially if you're actually waiting for that moment but it's part of the market growth. A market dump doesn't necessarily result in other coin dumps though, BUT it could result in what path altcoins could probably go. I actually see it as a possibility of BTC dumps, altcoins take advantage of this to go up. BUT because of how traders actually concentrate on BTC only, this kind of kills that idea. This results in what we currently see, altcoins being used as an alternative as the name "alt", and are actually more used as a way to buy BTC when it dumps instead.
5800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 prediction on: November 29, 2019, 04:05:38 PM
Everyone who has been in Bitcoin long enough knows that the halving is the lowest part in the parabolic growth.
The ATH is always half way between the halvings.

So if you sell your stash ant GTFO that would be great!  Tongue
This. Dude, the graphs have already shown it. BTC always dips down to lows during the halving. At least after a year would it only St pop off and start reaching for another ATH. Even if BTC went to 5k right now, most HODLers wouldn't even blink an eye off of it. Why? Because almost every hodlers know that the season of BTC is not during the halving, since most people panic sell by then, believing that BTC would lose its value once the supply that is being steadily released dwindled down, but rather after the halving itself.
