5781  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rally! Keep hold your coins! watch that chart 1200$ soon. on: December 26, 2016, 04:29:01 PM
We look that price rise up in three days by some factors and transactions but that don't means that now it's time to hold bitcoins and wait until it will reach 1200$. Many people was saying that after halving price would be doubled but that wouldn't happen and many peoples' hope failed so don't look this fact like fanatic and don't let it so fail your dreams but I think now is good time to sell some, fot example 25% of your total bitcoins.
5782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: December 26, 2016, 03:58:43 PM
Nowdays it seems that many footballers are going from their top teams. I don't know if it's already written here but I read on Marca that pepe is leaving real madrid and in new club his wage will be doubled, also his contract soon will expire and he will be free agent. Same situation is about Manchester United's footballer, Wayne Rooney, as news websites told us, there are high chanses that he will leave Man.Utd and that's very sad news for Man.Utd fans because he is great players and every fan likes he.
5783  Economy / Speculation / Re: I sold half of my COLD STORAGE coins on: December 26, 2016, 09:04:38 AM
Your thread's title was such that people would think you sell enormous amount of huge collection of bitcoin. What you are doing is simply funny but one thing that we can call truth is that nowdays it's good time to really sell one half of bitcoins and leave one half for yourself because who knows what will happen, maybe price will rise up much faster and much higher, no one knows.
5784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: December 25, 2016, 10:21:44 PM
It depends on what you want to get from tht. If you want profit than inveat in gambling and there are many websites which givea you permiaaion of investing and withdrawing when you want. I mean what I said previously in investing, not playing with money, sometimes people wrongly call it investing. If you want to feel like a gambler, still invest and than loose your profit 😃
5785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Your picture rig mining Zcash on: December 25, 2016, 10:02:20 PM

Georgian nepotism has affected even bitfury so I'm not wondering why I didn't got a job there.
In my other farm (BTC) we pay 7Cents per kwh and it is still profitable. I don't think that the price will really change, at least I hope.
In fact you can place your own datacenter next to bitfury's in Gldani free zone, the cost of electricity is 5cents and you pay no taxes at all! even not the import tax which is 18%... but there is always a big but, you have to get a huge land plot (2000sqm) for the cost of 16-18$ per sqm at minimum of 5 years, in fact in long term and high investing rates these are quit good conditions for huge farms.
It's already free zone? It's after BitFury's datacenter was builded, am I wrong?
Also I can't understand why they didn't builded that datacenter in places where electricity is free, maybe it would end by bad action from people? But who cares about that, they are doing what they want and how they want. And electricity prise isn't very different from basic price of simple denizens.
5786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems you often face online in Bitcoin world? on: December 25, 2016, 09:52:43 PM
Main problem was and if it will continues so, always will be confirmation of transactions. If you are going to make transaction of higher than 1 bitcoin with normal fee, than sometimes there is problem and you have to wait 1 week or in worst situation delete transaction in order to make it forgotten for networks. Another problem is that there is no chanse of returning sented bitcoin if you sent it in wrong place. All other thing are perfect.
5787  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Cold Storage Wallet for Ubuntu 16.04 on: December 25, 2016, 09:38:20 PM
I amn't user of ledgernano but I know some things about them. At first write your problem in more detail because we don't know which ledgernano are you using, they have 2 nano and maybe you mean nano withour S, only ledger nano. If you have problem with sending bitcoins, than there is video on youtube about that and if it stops working, it's sometimes their problem.
5788  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: So You Want To Use Bitcoin On Your Website? on: December 25, 2016, 09:10:49 PM
Thanks!

Most people wouldn't really want to make how to's unless money is involved.

Yes, I do try to provide as much free information as possible to help others and support the ecosystem. Technically there is money involved though, I do get paid by youtube for letting them play ads. I also have a book for sale. But I do believe it's very important to have this information available for free. We need more of it. To anyone out there that might be a dev -- and I know there are a bunch of good ones in bitcoin -- feel free to post your stuff on this thread and I can add it to the main post. It would be nice to have a mega thread of community created bitcoin web dev guides. Doesn't have to be a video, it can be a blog post instead.

Yes, in most cases situation is like that but at the same time there are people which are doing such things for free and that must be appreciated by us. I think it will be better if these videos will be translated in another languages and will be pinned in localboards, so it will be easy for any interested person in this task to find information easily in native language.
5789  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: December 25, 2016, 08:50:31 PM
So in other words the 90 day warranty is worth absolutely nothing...  There seriously needs to be some competition with Bitmain.  I am surprised they don't have a class action lawsuit against them.

Like others have alluded to the idea of sick miners worth more to them than a good miner has a lot of merit.  That is how our healthcare works... They make their money with sick patients not with healthy ones.

People here had similar problems about bitmain's warranty. It will be better if you try more communication with them, they will answer your emails. If you are 100% true and with warranty terms you are eligible to be repair your antminer, than last solution is to open thread here with detailed description of your problem and of course with argumentation.
5790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HDD Mining on: December 25, 2016, 05:28:16 PM
HDD mining is new thing which I have heard, as I know you can simply mine with sata drives, it doesn't cares about ssd, you need huge amount of storage, for example 100TB to get profit from hdd mining. Nowdays more known coin is burst and you can mine it, also it's profitable now. If you are now investing money, than as one member told you, it's better to invest GPU mining.
5791  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer (or other) on: December 25, 2016, 09:42:59 AM
If your electricity cost is 19 cents per kWh than simple don't dream about mining by s7, all previous miners which you wroted are useless now even with free electricity. If you can buy antminer s9 but with such high electricity prise, it's still not profitable. It will be better to try altcoin mining with GPU or there are some altcoin miners, I can't remember their names.
5792  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1000+ is anytime now on: December 25, 2016, 09:30:31 AM
I didn't thought 2-3 weeks ago that price would be so high in 3 days. Now it's absolutaly possible if bitcoin's price will reach 1000 anytime but I read here, don't know if it's truth or not but another 1 billion would be added in bitcoin to the market cap of Bitcoin yesterday to stop bitcoin's price rise. It's very unpredictionable currency.
5793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks accepting bitcoin on: December 25, 2016, 08:02:43 AM
It means a lot, it means that bitcoin soon will be payment system in many popular services. I think it won't add them many new customers but it makes payment system more comfortable, but minus is that it will be better if any other wallet's user would be able to pay. So another things is very good. I think they will also accept payfair payment system.
5794  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: December 24, 2016, 10:21:12 PM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

Yes, in my country there is absolutely all that problems what you said, also usd rise makes many countries national currencies to fall down that makes chaos in them. Also BitFury opened biggest datacenter here and this situation is making their work in bad because plans aren't going as it was excepted when they invested 50 million for bitcoin mining project.
5795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: December 24, 2016, 10:13:14 PM
I know when is good to stop but knowing this is not enough alone as I can not stop myself. I am sure many people here like me most of the times have good start but can't stop playing and loose everything won. I like adventure and try to make maximum of everything that is what doesn't let me stop somewhere.

You are wrong, when you know when to stop it helps much more than you think. At first don't look gambling as profit source, that's why many people can't stop because they think if they bet more and more, at least they will win but reality is very different from their dreams. So when you know when to stop, this means a lot and solves that problems.
5796  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What Does it Take to be a Currency Exchanger on: December 24, 2016, 09:10:32 PM
I think you know some basis and I won't waste time on telling them. Well, one of the most important factor here is security of your website. For bitcoin cold wallets will be better, some companies are protecting them with trazor. Maks sure you have highly protected cms and bugs are fixed, add 2fa authority. Also servers with good specifications and high speed internet connectivity.
Mostly I am specified in hosting and that's why I gave you that advices.
5797  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Segwit, Lightning and Teechan influence in mining on: December 24, 2016, 08:41:53 PM
About hard fork, I can make you calm and say that developers aren't planning to do that. As Lauda said, they can't image if there will be think to do that or not because there people were talking that it would be good if limit of bitcoins (27 million bitcoin) would grow, but staff isn't going to make such changes.

P.S have you reached ROI or not? Now with free electricity ROI is 140% with latest antminers.
5798  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ISP speed ? Will miners effect it ??? on: December 23, 2016, 06:35:33 AM
Internet speed doesn't affect your mine rate but at the same time it's important factor, at least you need normal internet, not higher, there isn't difference between 10mbps and 100mbps when mining but you need normal speed for downloading previous blocks and uploading the block you just found and it reduces the chanse of the block you just found from being orphaned.
5799  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Your Bitcoin-Address as Short URL with 1bit.co on: December 22, 2016, 08:06:04 PM
Really good work and sometimes that's really need, for QR code I think original adress is already satisfying and new short's adress qr code is waste. I haven't seen but if you can, add transactions shortener, both blockchain and blocktrail, also do this kind staff on famouse altcoins. Test your code on bugs and work on fixing, it's new and there will be some very small problems.
5800  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper bitcoins. Is it worth it? on: December 22, 2016, 09:19:25 AM

plus you cannot recycle  a paper bitcoin like a normal fiat because it will cause the double spending problem.

Could you expand more on that, I can't quite get what you mean to say

deisk, he means that for example if your paper money is halfly cutted by some occasion (I mean another meaning of word rent) than you can to go in bank and they will give you new and same rate money. So as we know that bitcoin is limited supply and when 21 million bitcoin will be mined, mining process will stop so in paper bitcoin situation, if some similar occasion will happen, it will cause many problems. Hope you understand.
