You have to split that money in to all opportuniy by different portfolio, like for BTC 40%, altcoin 50% and for ICO 10%. By split the money like this the risk of investment will be less risk. To chooce good ICO we should looking for many review of that ICO and also sharing with other expert to more understand fundamental of the project.

In my opinion because that ICO have high hardcap target and the team developer predicted they will possible to get that target in long periode. I was joined other signature campaign in 4,5 month and this is long periode but i get good rewad for that, so as long they will pay in standar reward i think that its ok.

I dont believe luck will make you success in crypto trading, the factor that will make success in trading is knowledge, strategy and enable to manage emotions in trading, mostly trader lose their money because greedy, not patient and not use cut loss in every trade.
