Will this unit fit in a 4U case? If no, is the unit able to be deconstructed to fit within a 4U case?
I'm planning on building this, as I need to contain these systems for our DC--can't have cables flopping around all over the place.  I'm thinking about gutting my mostly-broken S2 to start the process, as it already go some nice fans.  I'll post picks as I progress!

Cheers.

[...]trying to get them down and CK advised back then to stop as it wasn't effecting anything not to be worried about it. Since he wrote cgminer I decided to leave them alone as he should know. On Slush's pool it will take a couple of hours for the front end to report your correct speed.
CK did say that the discards don't matter at all on BM gear, and wasn't even sure why they included that number on the stat page.  That said, I'm interested to see what speeds we average out to with standard clocks... I have an S2 that's never _quite_ worked up to spec, and am wary about replacing with with an S4.

can anyone answer ?
I've not read the entire thread, but there is currently a Chinese holiday happening.  This may be why you've not heard.

Cheers.

I see no place on their order forms, or a way for that matter, to use S2 coupons to apply to the S4 to get another $200 off besides the coupon they just issued for $200. Can anyone confirm that they are allowing S2 coupons to be used for a discount?

I believe you can only use a single coupon per order--they don't stack.
585  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 29, 2014, 02:19:48 PM
Price is better at 1250 if you could still use coupon ........ But since you can't then I will still pass Sad btc is burning a hole in my pocket.
With shipping (at least to the US) we're looking at 3.18 BTC, which still equals a negative ROI unless difficulty breaks it's trend.

I will have some updates closer to the end of the week  Grin

I am waiting on your updates.

I need a switch, but need a cover for it, before I invest in the S3+ :-)

( I actually assume the switch will work with  S3+ )
It will work with a standard ATX PSU that you would use to power a S3, yes.  That said, the group buy is closed and we're not shipping additional units.  Someone may be able to hook you up here, however, as a number of people ordered numerous units!

Cheers.

Sooo... who's thrown away their BTC on the S4 already?
Not I.  That thing will never make back the BTC you spent, even with free electricity, unless something crazy happens to the increasing difficulty.  If the price of BTC goes up I may consider it.

Anyone else having problems accessing bitmains webpage?
Yes - it appears down.
Back up--S4 pricing updated to $1450.

Wonder if Squeaker or Inaba will show their faces here anytime soon.

Doubtful.  Any attorney worth their retainer will steer the BFL crowd far, far away from us.

Anyone know how many Watts this S4 would be? Bitmain please tell us.

Maybe they are updating the website Smiley
No-one currently knows, awaiting an update on the site so join the F5 refreshing line Cheesy

You can use "Auto Refresh Pus" for chrome Wink
Or "Page Monitor"--my preference.

ANTMINER S3+ -B9 sales open, shipping starts on Sept. 18th  Smiley
Excellent. But what about:

1) New firmware for S2 and S3;
2) Upgrade kits for S2;
3) Some machine (S4?) that has been tested a couple of weeks ago?

Since you blow all that air through the miners, you only "collect" the dust there, you don't generate it per se .. Construction areas usually have dust to collect every time when it's hot outside, so I wish you lots of rainy days!

Construction takes place inside the buildings while my office trailer is outside the buildings so physical dust should not be a problem.  Air coming out of the buildings is filtered through several chambers.

Are you really Lesbian?  Shocked

No the cow is.
You made me laugh out loud.

I've used both, and Betarigs is more work, to be sure--I'm not sure if it's worth the work for the slightly better rate you may get.  My opinion, nicehash has been set and forget.
As a seller Betarigs might be a bit more work but I'll take the faster payout (I only have a few Mhs) versus waiting for a weekly payout from NiceHash...plus my prices are a good bit higher...and when I'm not mining there Westhash is my backup. So best of both worlds i guess.
Right on--that makes sense!  I run SHA gear, so I see how it would be different.

Cheers.

What a joke this site is. 2 cancellation fees and a withdrawal fee all for 0 hashes.
it took me 4 months to get it right, but once you learn wow a lot of hash power  Smiley

Not eve going to bother. I will stick with beta rigs. It is a lot of hash power but when they charge these fees they should allow you to change pool when you want too. especially if they say the pool is having problems with them.

hmm .. im watching betarigs and for some time they pay better than NH ... Lips sealed

Updated OP with SHIPPED status.  I wasn't able to make it to the PO on Saturday as planned, so everything arranged over the weekend went out Monday afternoon and is in transit!  Please feel free to drop a line here once you get your order and let us know what you think of the devices.

Cheers.

Can I get an update on my order? It does not show shipped in the main post and the last PM I received from you was on September 6th saying you would get back to me on first class shipping.

You've got a PM!
