Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!
I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500
Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?
Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.
I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

That story is not clear but i understand that you ignore to buy bitcoin when the price is low then you are asking if the price of bitcoin is really high right now yes your 400 bitcoin is now a ton of money and yes you do made your biggest mistake of your life and that seller too he made the his bad decision if he actually sold that bitcoin. This is the reason for everyone to monitor the market everyday and this is actually how trading works, If you have a huge amount of capital then your profit will be also high and in the near future the value of bitcoins will still increase that is why need to hold more longer till it reach that time. |

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
In my opinion, teaching bitcoin to children or teenagers would be very challenging as its methods and origin are very complicated for them to understand. Instead of teaching them bitcoin when obviously they would learn nothing, you teach them the basics of investing or saving money. You teach them the right ways of money circulation, and its value around the world. You can also teach them how to save money for their future use and explain them the basics of inflation. Teenagers has different mentality and it was a good thing if he/she is very desperate to become rich the money will be his/her motivation to learn about bitcoins. It will be a very nice idea if they will teach bitcoins in college or high school so everyone will be knowledgeable as early as now. |

if bitcoin is gambling i'll soon leave it ... because that is my first thought of playing bitcoin ... then i know bitcoin is cryptocurrency and it's been there a few years ago and we have to try hard to get it, and taking a lot of time, mind and money ... so the term "go to the moon" will not come true without the cooperation of the team and the supporters of a project ... although I myself still need a lot of experience in this field.

In my opinion the value of bitcoins will stay at its normal price and the reason why the current price is very high because the supply is low and a lot of consumers needs it that is why the price keeps on increasing.
