I do not think that bitcoin is going down. Just look at its value. It already reached 10,000 USD. And speaking of buying bitcoin, you can still buy bitcoins if you have enough money to invest in it. I think its price going up is just inevitable.

I think you really can't compare BTC to BCH. Because bitcoin is still the best cryptocurrency that existed. BCH will take a lot of steps to beat bitcoin. But because BCH has the lower price you can still invest in it or you can consider other altcoins that have a future.
