It's a propellor overheat correction.

It'll hit around 8500 to 9000 and then start to work it's way back up to the spinner at around $13800 over a period of 3-4 weeks.

Are you related to Tera Bera?  You are all over the place with your separate posts predicting seemingly contradicting scenarios.
Can you not see that most of my posts are either just flat out jokes or saying what COULD (not will) happen? I make very few "predictions" - most are very short term. For example here is a prediction I made:

itll rebound a little after filling that stupid wall
Within the next hour it both filled the 1600B wall and went up $300. I got no merit for this post.

Guys, I Sodl.

I'm a long term holder. Bought my first bitcoin in 2013 to buy MDMA on SilkRoad. Later got inspired as a software vendor by the idea of cheaper transactions (Visa getting 20% of my profit!).

I Hodl in 2014 when times were grim. I hodl because I believed that Bitcoin would disrupt finance, distribute power, and improve the quality of life with lower cost transactions.

Now Bitcoin seems more like digital gold... something the rich need to store their vast wealth and move it around. Or bitcoin/altcoins are a way to gamble like trading baseball cards. That just doesn't turn me on.

We've been saying that bitcoin isn't perfect because "it's like the internet in 1990". We said that 5 years ago, and people are still saying it again today.

I'm not giving up on Bitcoin, but I've sold 50%. Now I can breathe. I still believe in the dream of a decentralized currency. Still believe in bitcoin. And going to now focus on how I can support making bitcoin a currency.
Interesting. I also never would have gotten into bitcoin early if not for some kandi kid telling me about the silk road. However, once I learned and got fascinated with the technology, I forgot about the silk road and was solely focused on trading and mining. Its not easy to trade on drugs - the mind is slow and the chart does wierd shit on its own. I hope youre not still getting mdma in the mail - thats a bad idea - its bulky and dogs can smell it, not to mention it is neurotoxic,

You dont have to give an excuse to sell 50%. Thats a very rational thing to do if youre dealing with 6-7+ digit figures and you want to diversify and make youre set for life. I sold half at $18,800. Only if you sodl all would you need to confess.

The problem with merit is it doesn't account for the amount of bad posts that someone makes. Someone could make some good posts to get merit but also make tons of bad posts. To fix this problem we would either need demerits or to display to a merit-to-post-count ratio.
585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin capital fleeing to Ethereum? on: February 01, 2018, 01:15:51 PM
Im still awiting for Ethereum to correct to $30. Its going to happen eventually. Like litecoin correcting from $50 to $1
Why you are waiting for that man? Don't you ever happy that ethereum reaching $1000? This is a big chance for us, their value today seems to be a big help for other altcoins to grow and with that we can generate more profit from them.
Why would I be happy about an Ethereum rally? It's a bitcoin competition and it's basically centralized. If what you are saying is true then maybe. However I doubt that Ethereum is solely responsible for altcoin rallies. Altcoins had huge rallies before there was even an Ethereum. Anyway regardless of if I am happy about , Eth has risen way too much without a major correction. It basically went straight from $10 to $1500 in a matter of months - that's a 15,000% gain - that does not happen in crypto without triggering a huge bear market.

Theoretically the only thing that keeps tether tethered to $1 is TetherBank buying any/all tether's at $1. Without this facility I am amazed that Tether is still where it is. I think it's being held there by bots that are programmed to trade USDT pairs based on USD prices.

There's always an ample opportunity to sell within 30% of the bubble ATH. I dont know why I bother trying to pre-empt it during the rally - I lose so much.

It is time for the end of the picnic bear and carebear and for the ascent and worship of Karhu.

What if this the actually the end of a 9-year 3-bubble elliot wave and now a super bear market is coming?  First it would go down $3K as usual (wave A), then it would start rallying again and LOOK like this was the next big bubble (wave B), but around 8K it would fizzle out and proceed into wave C which could go back into low-mid triple digits

So buy again at $3k and short at $8K?

I think the absolute bottom if history "rhymes" will be $1500. Which is 1 order of magnitude higher than the previous low in Jan 2015.
That's if the old pattern was followed, but if this was the end of an elliot wave then the pattern would be broken.

Why would "institutional money" go back into bitcoin? For what? They now know the max capacity of dumb retail money that's bought, and the market has been sidestepped with fake futures coins. Now it's time for them to get out.

None of them know a damn thing about the technology. All they know somehow is the hive mind issued a buy signal. Like a hot stock tip, and they were confused why they couldnt buy the 'shares' with their bank broker.
596  Economy / Speculation / Re: People keep saying HODL but are they really hodling? on: February 01, 2018, 09:25:09 AM
They might not neccessarily be selling. They might just be locked into hodling either becauser theyd have to pay 50% taxes on a sell (so its pointless), theyre a criminal, or theyre a whale with 10,000+ coins who couldnt sell even if they wanted to. Theyre forced to hodl so they want you to hodl too.
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historic BITCOIN crash on: February 01, 2018, 09:18:46 AM
let me remind you of this, that this is not the first time bitcoin has crashed very significantly and its not the worst of all crash. (correct me if i'm wrong) Based on bitcoin history, crashes occur on:

2011 jun- Nov: -97%---> From $ 32 to $ 2
2012 jan - Aug: -36%---> From from $ 7 to $ 4
2013 Mar 6 -11: -25%---> From $ 49 to $ 36
2013 Apr 10: -79%---> From $ 266 to $ 54
2014 Feb 24: -49%---> From $ 867 to $ 439
2017 jun 11-16: -36%---> From $ 3,000 to $ 1.869
2017 Sept 2-15: -40%---> From $ 5,000 to $ 2,972
2018 Jan 17: -48%---> From $ 19,783 to $ 9,496

If viewed from history, crashes often happen every year since 2011 and proved that this year is not the worst year of the year - the year before. What do you think, whether this crash will continue or not?
You forgot the big 2014 crash from $1250 to $380 and ultimately $160. And why are you including tiny dips from 2017 and 2012? None of those are crashes - those are interim corrections within a bull trend. We are just NOW exiting a 2 year bull trend and should see something of greater magnitude from ATH like 2011 and 2014..

I didnt have to tell my relatives to buy at the top. They did it by themselves. But they wouldnt buy when I told them about it at $100. I dont understand. Is it all those cheesy ads with pictures of jewish nerds?

Tera, if bitcoin is not a govt backed scam to try and get people into a cashless society slave system, then why did France pass this law on metals in 2013 but here we are in 2018 and no attempt to stop bitcoin at all?

France Prohibits Sending Currency, “Coins And Precious Metals” By Mail - 2013

Quote
In new legislation which was enacted May 23rd, the French government decreed that it is forbidden to send all forms of currency - coins and cash and all forms of precious metals – coins, bars and jewellery by mail.

The legislation was published on Legifrance, the French government entity responsible for publishing legal texts online and can be seen here.

It was not announced by the government and not covered in the media.  There were no communications and nobody in the government justified or explained this decision.

The legislation says that “the insertion of banknotes, coins and precious metals is prohibited in mailings, including the insured items, registered items and items subject to formalities certifying deposition and distribution. "

Some have suggested that the decree is to limit what is known in France as “the anonymous market”, the market in which no taxes are paid and people are free to trade without the supervision of banks and government.

However, euro coins and notes and gold bullion coins and bars attract no tax in France and therefore this is more likely to be an attempt to discourage the ownership of gold bullion and cash outside of the banking system and is a form of capital control.
Nothing about bitcoin would help this government objective. If the government wanted to do that, they would just require the use of bank accounts and start collecting all cash in circulation. Bitcoin is a poor choice as it takes control away from them - it also just sucks for consumers in general (transaction time and fees) and requires an electronic device and internet that most people dont have and cant afford.

Merit is going to do nothing to prevent spam accounts unless merit throttles their posts somehow - otherwise they dont care about what their merit score is
