581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade - mistake? on: August 22, 2019, 11:57:52 PM
Hello traders,

Today I have done few trades some of them are good some of them not. But I made one trade that I though it was good but not (USDT-BTC).

https://pasteboard.co/IkN75r0.png

So I bought  BTC for 10,754 USDT(green circle on picture) and sell for 10 800 USDT(red circle on picture) but after short period of time price jumped to 11 139 USDT.
I was looking on indicators and oscillator but I didnt see any anything.

Where did I make mistake?

Thanks for every answer
You just made 0.42% for that trade, if we are going to deduct trading fees of 0.25% that will leave you with only 0.12% profits. Try using Bollinger Bands in the future before you decide to Buy or Sell because it will help you see if trend will continue or not. You also need to observe the coin first before buying or making a decision.
582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Crypto trading bot beat human intelligence? on: August 22, 2019, 11:51:33 PM
Trading bots help in executing the trades automatically and they use algorithms to detect trends of the market, on the basis of that you can execute the trades.
One of the benefits of bots is they trade based on analysis rather than emotions to avoid panic buying and selling as bots are not influenced by the psychology of a trader.
Artificial intelligence and Machine learning help bots to constantly develop and evolve, but what I think is there is a long way to go to beat human intellect. Human touch is very significant as a good trader can feel for the markets. If something unexpected is happening in the market then humans can adjust the trading plan accordingly, where the bot will run on the rules that are set. Recently one of my friends introduced me to a trading tool named SmartBotCoin.io. I haven’t used this tool but bots or tools can still be helpful in some part of trading so I decided to check out the features on their website look good. I have seen many potential scams in trading tool category, so I want to be sure before using any crypto trading tool. Do you think it's worth trading on this tool?
This is the first time I heard of smartbotcoin. I am currently using Gunbot. The only advantage that I see using a bot is if you are not good in handling your emotions then Bots are good for you. It will trade based on your settings. Another is even if you are away, it will continue to trade for you. Find a good and reliable Bot, read feedback and reviews before you buy a license of a trading bot.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 22, 2019, 11:46:50 PM
Why nowadays when there's a gambling site that offer a bunos on your first depost it seems like scam?  Especially if the bunos is to much than your initial deposit.
It is their way to attract players and high rollers to play in their site and deposit, however, for new sites, you are always at risk of sites going to run away with your money after you made a deposit. I don't deposit and play in new sites unless the site is run by a known operator.

And also whe all knows mostly gambling site nowadays are using KYC.  but why when there's a promising site that doesn't require  kyc it smell fishy as well?  What did happen to this world?  How to trust again on this kind of sites?
Its their way to protect their site from being used to launder money. They (gambling site) don't want to be the next target of the government to be audited and closed.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 22, 2019, 11:41:57 PM
Looks like PBA will have a game overseas this coming October

October 4 (Friday) Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai, UAE
(8:00PM) SMB vs. NLEX

October 5 (Saturday) Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai, UAE
(6:00PM) NLEX vs. GINEBRA

I hope our kababayans will support PBA there since there's a lot of Filipinos working in Dubai. I wonder when they are going to play again in Philippine Arena. That place is big enough to handle the fans if Ginebra. They (PBA) are the first one who set the record in Philippine Arena for the biggest crowd.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Austrian Telecommunication Provider Now Accepts Bitcoin Payments on: August 22, 2019, 11:36:00 PM
Question will be who will pay using Bitcoins. As well know, most are just holding Bitcoins hoping for their coins to increase in value and not to pay for utilities. Here in the Philippines, there is an exchange site that help us pay our utilities using Bitcoins from water services, electricity and Telcos. Its great that big companies started accepting Bitcoins as payments, but I hope they will accept directly and not use 3rd party companies as it will sometime cause delay and add convenience fees for using their service.
586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto signals - any successful cases? Advices? on: August 22, 2019, 11:30:15 PM
Basically the subjects brings whole idea. Would you trust / use signals to trade? What is really useful in trading according to your opinion?
Trading Signals will not help you gain profits in the long run, most specially those who asks for monthly fees. They will give you signals for you to buy a coin or token but they already positioned themselves before you buy. So those who read the signal late and buy, they are buying an expensive coin already and they might end up trapped holding an expensive coin or token.

Don't be lazy in learning how to trade. Learn to read charts, learn to use tools. Follow successful traders and learn from their trades.

I see your point, but
  • I already own lifetime subscription
  • I do have (developed) instincts and I'm not alone

First thing is to watch and try signals and news. Then use it in your own strategies.
I hope they are not going to run away and close in the near future since you already signed up for a lifetime membership. I'm not going to lie, I do subscribed to free trading signals but I don't rely on them 100%. I use them as a reference as to what coins will be pumped by a group. Nice to know that you developed your instincts, pair that up with knowledge in using trading tools that will give you a better chance to be successful in trading.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 22, 2019, 11:24:55 PM
I started with fiat money, before cryptos, but only in sports bets, but after I found about cryptos I started to gambling in online casinos
And I prefer to bet with BTC, it's easier to play in any website I want

Before cryptos, it was hard to bet in my country because we have some strict laws against casinos and the IPs usually were blocked
I gambled with fiat when I was in my late 20's, its my dad who introduced me to traditional casinos but he also thought me how to control how much I spend inside the casinos. When I started working and always in front of a computer, thats where I discovered playing online casinos but I don't use fiat, just cryptos like BTC, ETH and BCH. I love the idea of being able to play without stepping outside my room. No need to travel and remain anonymous.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 22, 2019, 11:13:19 PM
I've lost big. Over the last two or three years, I've lost 60K in total. It was almost my entire savings.
It started out with a large investment in bitcoin when the price was about 13K.
When the price dropped to below 4K, I lost all hope after waiting forever and gambled it on bitcoin gambling sites trying to triple it up, just to make my money back.
I lost that and a lot more. Never imagined it turning out this way. Especially after the price went back up.
I don't have a lot of close people to turn to nowadays. It's hard to get through each day feeling horrible. Just needed to reach out somewhere.
Sorry if this isn't the place.
One thing I learned about Bitcoin is "patience". If you don't have this better stay away from any crypto assets. Imagine if you bought Bitcoin last February 2019 at price of $3,500 USD, ow much profits have you booked by now. Even when the price of Bitcoin dipped at $9,500 USD last July 31 and fluctuated to $12,000 USD, you earned 20% from that. Patience and stick to your target is the name of the game in Bitcoin.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Dice Game Platform on: August 22, 2019, 11:08:16 PM
My favorite would be the one that shows in my signature. Not because I am getting paid to promote them but I love that idea that we can play dice using not only BTC, LTC and ETH, but also other coins or tokens out there like NEO, Waves, Digibyte. You can play 20 with 20 coins or tokens plus their Bitsler coin. I also play dice with other sites.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 22, 2019, 11:02:42 PM
If you are currently employed and you wan't a portion of your salary to be converted into crypto assests. You can ask your employer to use Bitwage and they (Bitwage) will take care of the rest, but of course there's a corresponding fees for such service. This way you don't need to convert it on your own or look for a job that pays in Bitcoin.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Humans Gamble since 3000BC, and Governments still try to ban on: August 22, 2019, 10:56:24 PM
I don't understand exactly why some governments ban gambling. Is it like a babysitter government, trying to protect citizens from themselves? Or are they worried about something else?
As gambling is highly profitable, government could make a lot of money by taxing those companies.

Here is a list I found with 10 countries where gambling is completely illegal.

United Arab Emirates
Brunei
Cambodia
North Korea
Japan
Singapura
Cyprus
Qatar
Lebanon
Poland
source:https://www.lawyer-monthly.com/2018/02/10-countries-where-gambling-is-completely-illegal/

The problem I see is that gambling is something humans always did. It is something in the human nature. We always ignore probability and think "I will be luck now, just once, and I will make money here" or something like that.

I looked at wikipedia, people gamble since 3000BC!

Quote
Gambling dates back to the Paleolithic period, before written history. In Mesopotamia the earliest six-sided dice date to about 3000 BC. However, they were based on astragali dating back thousands of years earlier. In China, gambling houses were widespread in the first millennium BC, and betting on fighting animals was common. Lotto games and dominoes (precursors of Pai Gow) appeared in China as early as the 10th century.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambling

If government ban gambling, people will gamble illegally. Just like prohibiting drugs, people will still use drugs illegally,
Singapura? Are we talking about Singapore here? There are two casinos in Singapore which is in Marina Bay Sands and in Sentosa. Singapura if I am not mistaken is the old name of Singapore. Singapura (Malay) means Lion City. Although Singapore is just a small island or islands (some are reclaimed only or man made), 2 casinos are just enough.

593  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where is better to exchange alts? on: August 22, 2019, 10:36:45 PM
I'm a newbie trader and want to exchange my alts. All I know is binance and changelly. In my opinion, binance is too scummy. Changelly seems to be good but they take 0,25% fees and I want to pay less. Can you recommend me a good crypto exchange?
Don't be bothered by those news that Binance has been hacked if that is the reason why you think Binance is to scummy. When they we're hacked they admitted and users we're not affected. They we're able to maintain or keep their spot the list of top exchange sites. If its fees that you are looking for, Binance has the lowest if you use BNB token to pay for the fees.
594  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com 🔥 CASHBACK 🌟 NEW LEVELS 🌟 NEW RANKS🌟 CHEST PRIZES OF $35,000 💰 on: August 22, 2019, 10:23:00 PM
Anybody else having trouble login into Bitsler?

Last few days were spectacular for me... I try to login this morning and it tells me

"We got an unknown error. Please try again later."

wrote to them 2 hours ago, no answer yet.

I know Bitsler has a stellar rep, but I guess this will be the test to see if it's as solid as other sites I trust like Nitrogen or Bustabit.

stay tuned...

It happened to me too. I cant login and still didnt get answer from support

I haven't any problem with login there. It can be something on your side. refresh browser, clear cache and cookies ...
I guess the problem is already fixed. I have no problem logging in. Aside from the usual security message that I logged in using a different IP address and I need to go to my email to allow use of new IP address, no problem encountered.
595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 2000$ USD. Where you invest? on: August 21, 2019, 11:56:20 PM
Why are people saying real estate? There's nothing worthwhile to do with $2,000 in that realm.
True, I don't know what kind of real estate you can buy at $2,000 USD. That is just 110,000 Pesos here in the Philippines. Its just enough to pay for the down payment of a 1 bedroom condominium unit. Maybe a plot of agricultural land in the province but returns is small compared to other forms of investment.
596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better option for trading Bitcoin or stocks ? on: August 21, 2019, 11:50:32 PM
And one more thing that you can give your less effort than stocks.
Both are complicated, both needs attention in details and both needs thorough study before buying a stock or a coin/token. Let us not belittle the stock market, there's a lot of people out there who gained their riches through stock market.

You don't have to always hang with phone all the time though.. Cheesy Cheesy
You don't need to hang on with your phone all the time, unless you are a day trader but still you can put a stop loss order so in case you are not around and the price went down, system will place the order for you.

Thank you for the kind words. I hope you can still consider Bitsler as your preferred choice in playing dice and other games. There are ongoing promos and contest that suits you and the site admins are always looking for ways to improve the site and probably add new games in the future.

Also, I would like to see new games on Bitsler. I am surprised that on one of the top crypto casino, we have "only" four games.

I hope the same although the current available games are good already but obviously new games will bring more players. If I have to mention what new games to be added on Bitsler then I suggest them to add Keno, Plinko, Mines, and Chart. As I know, those four games has very good player based so it may attract players from other sites that provides those four games. I guess why those four games has good player-based because there is possibility to win big from small bet. With the popularity of Bitsler, it will be easier to gain traffic for the new games.
Looking at the feedback from other online casino threads, Plinko hasa lot of followers is nice game that I also play. Since Bitsler already have an exchange function, I wonder if its possible for them to add a game like the one used by secondstrade. You chose if price of BTC will go up or down in a specified time.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Sold 2BTC at $3,000 and BTC Bumped to $10,000 on: August 21, 2019, 11:36:47 PM
If you are going to look at it like that, sold at $3,000 USD but later on BTC reached $10,000 USD you will really kick your self and ask why did you sell at that rate, but if you think back and ask yourself what was the reason back then, it will justify why you sold at $3,000 USD. You sold at $3,000 USD because there is a need that needs to be filled in, that enough reason for you at that time. No one knows at that time when BTC will reach $10,000 USD. YOu just did what you think is justifiable at that time.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 17, 2019, 03:04:58 AM
Yeah, I really love the drama too. You know what, dramas makes games better. This will surely get the crowd go mad, no wonder how PBA is back again with full of people in the stadium.

Congratulations for a back to back championship SMB!
It might help get the interest back in the Philippine Basketball Association however, that move of Arwind Santos is good for the team and for PBA. He is taunting someone that was invited by the PBA from another country to join the team. If PBA will not make any move against Arwind Santos, we might not be able to invite good players from another country in the PBA if they feel they will be treated like that.

PBA made the appropriate move already, Arwind Santos was fined Php 200,000.

Here's the full story from their official site. https://www.pba.ph/news/pba-fines-arwind-santos-200k-for-offensive-behavior
Thanks for the link. Upon further searching, last year he (Arwind Santos) was slapped with a $382 fine for giving out comments about how bad officiating at the PBA Philippine Cup last March 2018. I think the penalties of $3,820 for the racial slur and $382 for giving bad comments are way too low that this guy can afford and get away with it.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lomachenko-Campbell Unification Fight on: August 17, 2019, 02:48:17 AM
Odds as of August 17, 2019 coming from Nitrogensports and Oddschecker, I also included the Undercard for the said event

Vasily Lomachenko (-1756) vs Luke Campbell (+1003)

Joshua Buatsi vs. Ryan Ford
Hughie Fury (+135) vs. Alexander Povetkin (-372)
Charlie Edwards (1.34) vs. Julio Cesar Martinez (3.07)
Joe Cordina vs. Gavin Gwynne

Betting $10 on Luke Campbell will make you $100 richer but the odds that he will win the fight is very very low.
