And yes Milone, people do read those things  Wink  Thank you for your work.

Hey man,

is your name on here a Godzilla, or Glassjaw reference?

583  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed] AVALON CHIPs @0.082BTC + K16 Miner Assembly 60EUR on: August 14, 2013, 09:17:08 PM
Details submitted. Thanks
584  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 14, 2013, 04:48:28 PM
may i ask why there are only samples arriving and what have you ordered to get these samples?
i'am not involved exactly in avalon hardware...

30 chips per account ordering in excess of 10,000 chips (not per 10,000 chips), and because some disgruntled forum members grew a pair, quit being pussies, and laid the smack down on Bitsyncom to stop being evasive, or be held accountable.

Who actually did that? I'd like the details and perhaps send him a token of my appreciation.

Was me that called  and spoke to him mate, don't think i am accountable though, think it was just coincidence. Feel free to send me tokens though Cheesy

586  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Chips (SebastianJu) Batch 6 ordered (Closed) on: August 14, 2013, 12:47:42 PM
I spoke to Yifu today and it sounds like a lot of people will be receiving their chips in the coming weeks. He told me that pretty much all of the 3rd batch had shipped.

How did you "talk" to YiFu? He stated all this on his "news" release last week.

I "talked" to him by calling his "cell phone", not rocket science.. The number is actually on the Avalon press release.

Man, you actually managed to get a hold of him and didn't ask about B3 refund ETA? Tongue

Sorry man, was just trying to find out about chips. Try giving him a call yourself if you want to find out about them, he was actually very pleasant.
587  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 13, 2013, 09:28:53 PM

I think they have been trying, Yifu is a difficult man to get in touch with at the moment.

No, they are not. I'm in steamboats group-buy, and he is doing fuck-all. He's making maybe 1 update every two weeks, saying "we'll wait". I hate to say it but his failure to reply to emails and keep the topics up-to-date, tells me that even the group buy organizers might be taking a similar route.

Everybody needs to step up in their group buys and show the organizers that we mean fucking business right now. We are all losing more and more money and we're way past the point where it would even be sensible to consider investing in these chips.
And...there it starts.

Now the wolves are starting to turn on the main wolves. Eating one another like cannibals. How long will it take until this becomes a shitstorm?

Anyone?

Agreed, pretty sad to see if I'm being honest. One of the reasons I got into BTC was because of the community spirit and everyone working together for the same cause.

The group buy organisers have put a lot of time and work in and put themselves on the line, they don't deserve to be blamed for this at all.

I also know that organisers have been trying to contact Yifu.

The motherfucker is online every god damn day (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=68196) but he chooses not to reply or give more information.

We. Are. Being. Played. Big. Time.

And the worst thing is you all swallow it like willing slaves. "hurr let's wait it out". NO. Pressure your group buy admins to start demanding refunds ASAP.

I'm gonna have to agree. Sebastian, Zefir, Steamboat, Bizwoo, whoever else; we need to band together and pressure YiFu to make it right.

I think they have been trying, Yifu is a difficult man to get in touch with at the moment.

Might be a good idea to contact http://www.teribuhl.com as well.

Teri Buhl is actually pretty awesome and was looking into the WSJ clusterf**k from an investigative journalism stance, she would love to hear about this. She hates ex-Lehman's banksters as well. Grin

Agreed, she has guts! A really awesome lady.
