581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can I create NFTs at no cost? on: November 10, 2021, 04:12:32 PM
I actually found out that we can mint an NFT for free using Rarible. Rarible offer users the option to use “lazy minting” to create NFTs free of cost. With this feature, the NFT is not created right away. It is only minted when it is bought and the fees are deducted from the purchase payment.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Can I create NFTs at no cost? on: November 10, 2021, 12:00:01 AM
I know that if I want to create an NFT I can use the Open sea platform, but I'll need to pay a huge fee in eth. I agree with a payment, but the way the eth fees are so high, I'm not willing to spend that much. So, I was wondering what are the cheapest or costless ways for creating an NFT.

Can you guys give me a hand with this?
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian Congressman proposes Crypto Payment for workers on: November 09, 2021, 11:21:14 PM
Cryptocurrency is increasingly getting into our everyday lives! A congressman in Brazil has recently proposed a bill to allow Brazilian citizens to choose whether to receive their payroll in cryptos or in fiat. If accepted, it will be an important step forward to total Bank independence.

Are you guys hoping for the same to happen in your country?

if the country is still developing and the payment for workers is still too small, I don't think it is worth paying with crypto. because usually their salary will always run out for their daily needs, it's no wonder they don't even have a salary left. paying using crypto will only add to the burden for them, it doesn't seem effective, other than maybe only those who have a certain salary, there must be criteria first.

Of course, that is not an option for many workers. Workers who receive the minimum wage in countries like Brazil would have no benefit at all to have their payroll in cryptos. I guess that a crypto payroll would be better suited to white collars and other workers with bigger salaries. Nevertheless, in case the law gets passed, they will always have the right to choose between fiat and crypto.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin game NFT should choice? on: November 09, 2021, 10:25:04 PM
Hello,
As we have seen, the NFT game has had a strong development recently, even when the entire market is on a downward trend. It seems due to covid 19, when people stay at home and they both want to play games and make money.
In your opinion, which NFT games will develop in the near future: AXS, Alice, TLM, Mana, Sand, ENJ...?

I personally don't see what is the fun in Axis infinity, but I believe it's just a hype that soon will go away. As for Mana and Sand, I do see a lot of potential because the gaming experience is much more involving and effectively feels more like a game. I do see one of these two as the Second Life killer
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas Fee Of BNB Is Increasing on: November 09, 2021, 09:26:19 PM
All eyes are on the BNB due to the increase in Ethereum's gas fee. Thinking about the beginning, it can be understood that the BNB's gas free is increasing day by day. Although I don't know the exact reason behind it, the curiosity is there.

BNB is centralized but it has a big community and its ecosystem is growing exponentially. The real issue with eth as well as with BNB is that neither of them solves the scalability problem and as such the tendency will be for BNB to have an increase in the fees cost while its ecosystem and project demand is growing
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store your keys? on: November 09, 2021, 08:15:33 PM
I think I would have some kind of issue with the company that would keep my keys. I wouldn't be sure if I would want someone to have that kind of access with my key (if they ever violate rights) and they can pretty much get your assets with that. I think if you have that kind of amount, it's almost always safe to have an offline wallet/airgapped/hardware wallet for you to have control.

For the article, it's quite and old one since it's from 2018. Is there any update with that article?

Yeah, it's an old article, but still, I find it relevant especially when bitcoin price is surging to new Highs and no one knows when it's gonna top. Bitcoin is now a proven asset that is here to stay. Besides, given that many people believe it is still undervalued, having total security when storing wallet keys is of the utmost importance. I thought it was interesting to know that whales can recur to this sort of military-grade safe option. In any case, you can follow more about this vault in:

587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Where to store your keys? on: November 09, 2021, 04:54:17 PM
Crypto investors are turning to Military grade vaults to safeguard their Keys. While some prefer to know the Keys by heart, some have their crypto stash in physical dedicated crypto wallets like Trezor and pay big money to have them stored in Nuclear sheltered safe vaults. Take for instance Swiss Crypto Vault who offers Nuclear sheltered vaults to crypto investors. if you had 2000 bitcoins what options would you pick?

588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Metaverse concept inflating shitcoins? on: November 09, 2021, 01:54:14 AM
I'm here for quite a while and I have seen all kind of hypes. First, it was Nxt, stacking and PoS concept, then it was Eth and the Dao. Defi and the NFTs have made their stay while the Metaverse is being painted as the next "big thing". Well, I find Defi to be quite an innovation whereas, for NFTs, I already have NFTs since 2014 on the counterparty network which is like, dead. Back in those days, a bunch of wild geese burned their money investing into these projects but they were just unfinished or abandoned\ rug pull projects that never made it. That is a bit of how I see the NFT industry today. A lot of hype and too few good projects. IMO the background is different but the act is the same. While about 95% of all these new coins\tokens will not survive the "cryptowinter" others will come out as winners.

Now, with the metaverse hype, a lot of tokens have been inflated up to mindless prices as is the case of Illuvium. What do you guys think about these "overhypes"?
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on blockchain is the future on: November 08, 2021, 03:07:20 PM
Let's jut see how it survive the bear market first before we start hyping them up. The industry no doubt will continue to exist, but the value is likely going to change. Just take a look at the past few years, we've seen a lot of 'adoption' project like ICO/IEO etc but now they're nowhere to be found. Bear market is the best test for them.

I do agree that many of the hyped games will end up failing, as few will survive "CryptoWinter". However, let's not forget that blockchain gaming is the future of online gaming. Maybe the way it's being conducted right now could not be the way it will succeed, but I'm pretty sure the Blockchain gaming industry is here to stay.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: November 08, 2021, 01:57:18 AM
The way the fees are through the roof in the ethereum network is forcing users and developers to find other alternatives. Bnb has been the most wanted after eth. Currently, bnb has a healthy growing ecosystem with a lot of new good projects coming out. These are going to be decisive for bnb. The only issue is that it is centralized. IMO, If they decide to go decentral they do have the potential to moon
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin can help Local Communities on: November 07, 2021, 06:14:58 PM
Anthony Pompliano just posted a video on the Navajo mining Bitcoin. The Navajo are mining with clean energy produced from solar panels installed in their own land. Apart from stepping ahead towards their economical independence, the Navajo are also setting an example by going 100% solar with their mining operations.
Would really be that feasible? Considering the cost of solar panels and how much you've be needing specially on replacing  battery if you do  intently mine for 24 hours then

i would say that its just too nonsense on making some mining operation if you do know that ROI would be longer but if its for the sake of interest then its considerable.
Aside from mining  part there are various ways on which you could  really take advantage on this  market it is just  depending on someone on how they'll  do it.

If they are doing it, it is because it is feasible. Thing is, they have found the right companies and made the right partnerships to get this going. I guess the initial cost for getting a BTC mining operation going 100% solar it a lot higher than running on a grid, but on the long run it is a far better investment

594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to cash out DEFI(DFI) token to a bank account? on: November 06, 2021, 03:40:58 PM
Dear Community,

I was googling several hours to find a opportunity to cash out DEFI(DEF) but binance, crypto.com, coinbase and uniswap do not list this token.

Or maybe I didn't see it there?

Please be so kind and give me help.

Thank you,

Christian

You can always have a look at coingecko or coinmarketcap to check what exchanges have this token. I take it that you can only buy this token on a Dex exchange. If it's DefiChain (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/defichain/markets/) you are talking about you also have it on Kucoin or Bittrex. You can transfer them to one of these exchanges and sell them for USDT or USDC and then redeem it for fiat.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best thing you bought with Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2021, 04:42:42 PM
What was the best/most interesting thing you bought with Bitcoin, when, where you bought it and how many Bitcoins it did cost?

The best thing I bought with bitcoin was an Antminer S1 Dual Blade 180 Gh/s from Bitmain. Back in those days, I believe it was 2014 I paid 0.5BTC for it but only waited 4 days to get it. Turned out that I was able to make around 1.2BTC with it. Used it for about a year and a half and still manage to sell it for .25BTC. Nowadays, I don't buy things with Bitcoin, I prefer to hoard.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies in Schools on: November 05, 2021, 12:15:11 PM
Well, not bad ideas, but there is a difference between your random thoughts and what is going to happen. I don't know if any crypto-friendly country like El Salvador is going to start teaching about cryptocurrencies in schools but in the vast majority of countries they are not. Forget about it. A lot of time will have to pass and a lot will have to change before primary school curricula will include those contents.

I can't say that I agree with you. I do believe that the time to introduce cryptocurrency in the study of economics is here. I think it would be an important aspect of modern economics that should be teached. It is almost like computer science and programming. In the 70\80s, there was no education program but considering that computing was the next logical step in human technical development it had to be disseminated and learning programs had to be developed and introduced in schools. This would help this new science to get into common knowledge. I guess with crypto, we will probably see the same as you cannot dissociate the IoT or even the metaverse from cryptos, and tokenization.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How Bitcoin can help Local Communities on: November 04, 2021, 07:57:33 PM
Bitcoin is empowering local communities a little bit around the world. Native American communities have been stripped from their land and are struggling hard to escape poverty. This time is Bitcoin who is helping the Navajo people. West Block a Canadian mining company requested the Navajo nation to allow them for energy for a Bitcoin mine on Navajo land back in 2017. The company is currently employing 2 workers but has grown and is looking to have its operations increased to have 11 workers which will be hired among the community. The company is not only generating wealth for the community but is also providing them jobs and financial inclusion. This is the true nature of the potential bitcoin has to give back the power to people.

598  Bitcoin / Mining / Middle East Countries may be miner's new alternative option on: November 04, 2021, 02:42:23 PM
The Chinese mining ban forced bitcoin miners to find new countries to instal their operations and the middle east may turn out to be the best option.

Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Emirates, and a couple more may turn out to be good spots to transfer your Bitcoin mining activities. Given that the cost of electricity plays out an important role in bitcoin mining, countries where there is a lot of wealth and there are no energy constraints may turn out to be the next aim.

According to an Arcane Research report it looks like, Kuwait is nowadays the country in the world with the cheapest energy cost. The electricity costs for mining 1BTC are about $880, so a new gold rush from mining companies fleeing to this country may be expected.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan believes Bitcoin is Overpriced on: November 04, 2021, 01:52:54 PM
They have a conflict of interest to begin with, even if their estimations are in good faith, which I doubt. They're suggesting that groups invest in real estate or hedge funds oppose to crypto which is awfully convenient for them, considering investment consulting groups aren't really needed to invest in crypto to any significant degree - you purchase and hold, that's the extent of investing in Bitcoin.
Yup, if anything this report was made in the hope to preserve their own skins. JP Morgan is all about hedge funds and I'm not surprised that this tactic of appealing to their user base has been used to stop them from ;getting away'.

There might be some truth in there around the fact that Bitcoin is volatile, of course it is, and that more money needs to be poured into it in order to reach the 100K but by no means that report is to be taken seriously!

Yeah, I also believe the report should not be taken seriously. We will surely be seeing it reach 100k alright! It may take some time but we will. I actually think this might just be fud for the guy to get more coins at lower prices. He has been a bitcoin hater, yeah, but when the smell of money comes into play, this sort of shark is always attracted by the smell of blood on the streets.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / JP Morgan believes Bitcoin is Overpriced on: November 04, 2021, 12:53:27 PM
JP Morgan analysts say bitcoin's most probable price outcome is to never hit 100k as it is terribly overpriced.  JPMorgan Chase & Co. strategists recently released a report where they mention that Bitcoins's price is overpriced and for it to hit the 100k mark it would need to have volatility decreased. They point out that Bitcoin is now being traded above 60k but the true price for Bitcoin should be $35k.

What do you guys think about this?
