Is this like WikiPedia?

Could someone sum up in a sentence why would people want to use this when there's WikiPedia out there already?

Not trying to bash here, just trying to understand better what is the use case.

May have to get myself the CoinDesk card too. At that price I guess it will sell pretty well.

593  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Phoenix Coin on: March 24, 2017, 08:32:57 PM
I tend to agree with the general mood here, unfunded may sell more, not sure if you have done previous coin releases either so that will influence people's opinion too.

And also 1 BTC right now is a lot of dosh, add 5Oz of silver? Are they going to be made of Silver or another metal?

595  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Post your SegWit questions here - open discussion - big week for Bitcoin! on: March 24, 2017, 05:07:04 AM
SegWit doesn't look like is going to get activated any time soon, some Chinese miners have gone the BU way and possibly more will switch, but I hope not.

What other options are there for SegWit to be activated? Can the way to activate it be changed at this stage? Or what other possible way is there?
There's UASF, but most of the developers and miners don't think that UASF is safe. As of now, there are no other plans to get segwit activated. I think that it is possible for the timeout date to be pushed back once we get close to it, but so far no proposal for that has been made yet. I highly doubt that the activation threshold will be lowered.

Thanks will look into UASF, that's what I thought for the rest... sigh.  Cry

Is this project also based in Switzerland? Like the Large Hedron Collider?  Cheesy

Wondering if private keys are found for a loaded BTC address what is going to happen to the funds?

Is this just for research or actually trying to steal people's money?

Imagine finding the private key for some of Satoshi's addresses...
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: March 24, 2017, 04:26:33 AM

Looking forward to that. Should make it pretty easy to store, send and receive FCT for most people Smiley
Been using Enterprise Wallet so far and it works fine too, just syncing the blockchain may take a little while.
599  Other / Archival / Re: . on: March 24, 2017, 03:32:27 AM
Thanks for getting back Gravitate. Looking fwd to the list of Microsoul addresses Wink

Yup... still waiting...........  no list yet...........  Huh Huh Huh

Due to recent events surrounding Alitin Mint, I would think that gravitate would want to get this list out....

Not providing this just digs you deeper into the hole.................

Just hoping the issue is not that he can't make a list because he doesn't have the addresses anymore.

The swap process will be announced when ready. Today they only announced the intention to migrate to Ethereum.
