Skein-Sha256. price per coin 35 sat. mining dif between 5-20 --Sheepman solved a block on his Pi2-- For now, that looks like it beats The Ideal Reserve by the SSL and domain, but if difficulty goes up rendering the device useless, the entire device must be considered a cost. It will take a long time for the hardware requirements of The Ideal Reserve to exceed that device. Nah he uses setgenerate, not minerd/cgminer (lol on PI2). So its a full node . Thats priceless. |

As you know the size of OP_return of a transaction is only 40 byte (in the future will be "rise" to 80 byte) so you can't put as much word, but you can put an hash of a file that you own (for prove that idea/file is yours).
Instead of putting the hash of a file into the OP_RETURN, you can also use the hash of a file as a public key instead (like www.proofofexistence.com) What would be the benefit to put it in the OP_RETURN? Knowing the address for repetitive signing .  |

So you wrote a script that rapes faucets, and you are selling it? increasing from n=1 to n=20, times the amounts of proxies.(1000 proxies :S) I bet they will notice in hours and rework their captcha within a day.  I have already said why I think this is not the case. If you would've read carefully what I wrote in the original post, you would've seen that even in the worst case scenario, tweaking their captcha, would not stand a chance with the human solving captcha service. (this would only increase your costs a little bit, ~10-20%). But they already win enough not to care about this. The accounts are all independent, what is the difference about 1000 legit accounts and these accounts? They can't tell the difference! I did not encounter any problems in the three months I've been using this. Well in that case, send me a voucher. Name any good cause that accepts BTC (redcross?). I'll donate all, for the time this will be a viable service. I'm interested in seeing how deep the rabbithole goes, not the btc. |

Skeincoin 0.9.3.0 is available.
After running Skeincoin 0.9.3.0 for a couple of weeks I haven't find any issues with it.
The 0.9 branch on Github has now been merged into the main branch.

Nice. On the twitterbot/ircbot. I was working on making it one bot, but that turned out to be a pain. So it are 2 separate bots atm. the skcbot in #skeincoin, and @skeintip on twitter. The twitterbot can be called by tweeting: skeinbot balance skeinbot address skeinbot tip @sometwitteruser amount (for example: skeinbot tip @Strikerbee 1) skeinbot withdraw address. lol i just thought of an amusing idea. the ability to embed links in the chain. with an expanded explorer (somewhere, possibly in wallet) showing those links. such that i may link my art into the chain itself. the simple version would be similar to http://www.cryptograffiti.info/where arbitrary information can be hashed into an address, then a deposit into that address will enter it into the blockchain. using a bit.ly shortened address is still long enough to require two addresses (+1 for expenses on cryptograffiti) i assume a specialised site could automate something to shorten that. eg http://bit.ly/17cNLYushorten to bit.ly/17cNLYu anything starting with "bit" would be fairly obvious. although relying on bit.ly maybe problematic ?? --- only using the address for data entry gives you 20 bits (at least on cryptograffiti - i assume this would be true for any such process) you could create a basic system for further data enhancement. eg 1st bit - general classification 2nd bit - items for sale or just display 3rd bit on - web address -- of course a further number of bits are available in the actual amount of ASY/BANKSY transferred. Better to use OP_RETURN for that. Any Insight based explorer can read those with ease. For example use the coinsecrets php cli script. to publish.
