581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spanish University Holds Two-Day Bitcoin & Blockchain Course on: July 14, 2016, 11:07:30 PM
A 2-day course? I wonder what you can learn in that time. It's much too long to learn how to make transactions, and it's way too short to learn about blockchain tech... I doubt there'll be many students but I guess it's a good idea to promote the university.

Well i guess they will have a feedback from their students on that, see the interest and prolly they will add it in their schedule, but from nothing it is a very good point, bitcoin needs fresh ideas from young people..but wait.. if you are a nerd (the good way) and you dont know already bitcoin.. you have failed from the start !  Cheesy
582  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: July 14, 2016, 11:04:16 PM

583  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: someone should please teach me how to mine on: July 14, 2016, 10:48:50 PM
You said you don't have any bitcoin, do you have any money at all to invest in anything or are you just looking for handouts?
Dont be cruel with the newbie! Smiley

If you cant afford any bitcoin, do some jobs and get your payment in btc(offer your services coding, design etc) go make some faucets (very small amount in there), join a signature campaign ,but you have to build up your rank a little

587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Karpeles on bail on: July 14, 2016, 10:28:02 PM
Funny that he has so much money for bailing himself out. He can get some of that money and start repaying his customers. Oh wait... Maybe those are customers funds.

I'm very surprised too. I thought the guy was broke with all his assets frozen but he still managed to find $100.000. Where does that money come from? I believe he should explain that. Many people also are waiting for an explanation about what happened with their money...

Well my guess is expect the 100k for bail he pulled the right strings and bribe the right persons...
But wtf he dont fear for his life ? I mean he dont even know with what type of guys he has messed with...no wonder if he end up missing (the bad way)
588  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitvest.io invest on: July 14, 2016, 08:45:55 PM
I did some tests to see if im making a mistake or you (supporters) , and here is the deal
iv invested .01 btc with 0.25 margin for nearly 48hours it started with max profit 20sat and today was on loss 120sat, bad things happen on investment right ? maybe the win rate was high.. i pulled out my investment and try roulette black/red (always on red) with the usual tactic when you lose go double till win then back to original bet, and guess what.. did not manage to make it even because the chance for 10 lose in a raw chance was high i mean more than 17 times in a row,

strange fact is ok it is hard to win (luck factor/gambling) this is good for investors right ? But as investor it was loss also..slowly but steady

anyhow dont consider other ppl opinion as spam you are not in wonder land!

Please don't abuse him. It is our duty to prove that the website is provably fair and 'probably fair' too. He has the right to know these.
As for Sir CoinBreeder, I have been playing there for a year or so and I have lost 0.02BTC once using martingale. If you want proof, I will search through my bets and show. However, I made 0.011 from just tokens too on another day. Online roulette is more fair than a real one since they can't tamper with it to their own advantage. The bets are verified and you can toggle to see bet results. As some say, you might not get extremely high returns from investments but that is what keeps Bitvest stable and running. It also proves the users edge in wins.

Thank you Xavier , ill search it more..
589  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: July 14, 2016, 07:44:27 AM
Let say 2000 or 4000 USD safely doubling is possible, but 100 000 USD doubling can be real problem. In Forex market you can double 100 000 USD, but Forex can be also not safe methode too.  Wink
I really don't get your point, you method does not depend on your amount, if you cannot double a small amount you can also do it with a big one unless you really don't have a legitimate method to do it.
I thought of that too.
If you have a way to double a small amount, then there should be a way to double the big amount as well.

Although I somehow get why it's harder to double $100,000 than $2000 or $4000. The difference in value is just too great that even if you are to do the same method, the risks on using the $100,000 amount is larger since once you lose it all, it's all gone. Unlike when you use $2000, you can lose it once and gain it back the next try and so on.

yes you are right on that but if you invest on anyway in order to double a small amount you can sleep at night, but if we are talking about 100k gl with that!
there is no profit with out a risk
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of STEEM? on: July 14, 2016, 07:19:57 AM
I'd read an article about this on Flipboard a couple of days ago but forgot to check it out. I just registered an account with them, thanks for your post  Wink
Personally I think it's a pretty cool idea, a crypto currency that is intrinsically linked to a social network makes a lot more sense than most standalone coins out there, this one has a tangible purpose. This project could pick up steem pretty quickly (no pun intended). I'll definitely spend some time exploring the site.

It reminds me bitshares but in a differnt way lets hope they will keep up the good peace and add some more nice features, and ofc lets hope for whales support ! it seems going fine on marketcap tho...!
591  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: July 14, 2016, 07:17:05 AM
Every year is an year of bitcoin. So surely 2017 would be.It would pass 1000$ mark I think in 2017 and hold a steady price also.reaching 4 figure mark in 2017 would be a great achievement for it.
yeah so true, bitcoin live each day so bright Cheesy 1000$ ? hmm.. smells good if it will hit that point then it will make every bitcoiners happy and rich if they were holding good amount Smiley
Just be patient as we can even rich that this year, there is a big possibility because halving happens this year and we have put a huge investment waiting for the effect in due time.
Well, it wouldn't be very profitable for miners if bitcoin didn't move up in value. If that happens, since the halving has happened, I guess the transaction fees would be even higher. Although, there is somewhat an expected rise in value but it might take weeks, months even.
Or the mining industry will only be dominated by big mining companies as small miners will not be profitable anymore, that is just the possibility that I have seen if the price will not increase but we should be optimistic for us to all to stay profitable.
And lets hope this big companies will be strong handed and keep the coins instead of small miners which some of them they was insta dump
592  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can someone say how long will my wallet take to be in sync again? on: July 14, 2016, 07:05:59 AM

594  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any other 15 year olds here? on: July 14, 2016, 07:00:48 AM
me.
actually why do you ask people here if anyone is 15 years old? that's completely pointless, lol.

I'm curious, most people our age don't know a thing about money. Just wanted to see if their was any like minded individuals on here @ the same age.  Smiley

dont bother with what other 15yrs old do, focus on btc you are in the right track, and by the age of 20 you have chances to become a rich btc guy! and leave the rest searching for job and partial income ! Wink
595  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: July 14, 2016, 06:58:40 AM
i dont hate any race/color/religion of any human, i just hate the fanatics, killing/abusing innocent ppl
the best solution would be all the fanatics find a neutral ground and go kill their selfs! for the greater good!
596  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: total bitcoin energy consumption on: July 14, 2016, 06:53:35 AM
I am surprised that I see so little discussion on energy consumption.  I love the concept of bitcoin but hate to see so much energy spent to maintain it.  I don't think bitcoin can survive unless a way is found to consume less.

Well if that happent anytime soon, ill go again all into mining industry! but i dont see it coming any time soon.. and i dont think in the near future btc mining will become eco friendly ...

600  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitvest.io invest on: July 14, 2016, 05:58:25 AM
Did someone already invested in bitvest.io?
I have already sent there around 0,015,i wonder how does it look's like.
I've been looking for some informations and i have met a lot of people who where claiming this is a trusted site, but anyone invested there some amount, and got it all back?
I personally haven't tried investing in the site, but it's a game site. It always earns as long as players play.
Also, I've heard of this site for quite a while now. I think it's trustworthy simply because it has an obvious source of income, unlike cloud mining. Some cloudmining sites claim to mine but in reality is just a ponzi.
This one, on the other hand, is not the case. It's not mining at all.

Try investing, but don't invest what you can't loose, as usual.
That is what I thought from the start, that it is a gambling site.
But after seeing this title for the thread I now had to see if I was wrong. That it is an investment site. That usually marks it as a Ponzi scheme right off the bat by most people in the investments thread.
After reading the posts now, I can certainly say it is gambling site. Therefore not a stable way to make a profit for putting anything into it.
I believe people like you should be taught the difference between having sex and watching one. A gambling site is the most safe one to invest, since we actually know what the users are winning and losing in high rolls. Bitvest shows high roll bets greater than 0.006. It is easily safe to invest keeping a record of that information. Also Ponzi? Do you know what a ponzi is? Please stop spamming for few coins from your campaign. Just read the post by Sparked before you.
