Just don't store (the majority of) your coins on exchanges (for very long).
The 'for very long' thing does not matter. Just FYI. The exchanges pay out until the very second they don't pay out. If you think you will just move quickly through that, you could easily get your coins caught. And I wouldn't be surprised if a near-fail exchange can see big movement real time and selectively halt anything they want. Yes get your money the hell out of any exchange as quickly as possible, but that's not a secure trading method. This is a major weakness of bitcoin right now. There just is no safe way in and no safe way out. Almost completely Illiquid. We need a pure P2P fully transparent distributed exchange. I believe some of the alt coins are going to reach that goal first. |

I converted all my MINT and DOGE to KARMAcoin already. No complaints to me, that I do not support KARMAcoin.
I hold both... but trading MINT for KARMA? Not a trade I would make... 'cheap' or not. what? mint is going to crush and its going to crush soon. It was a fun coin for people to trade. but it will offer nothing more . it blew up too fast . not enough demand. Karma mission will win out in the long run. Unless there is some underlying amazingly better technology, the coin with the best goal will win IMO. |

instead of complaining why don't you just mine a more profitable coin and then sell it to buy KarmaCoin? that way you not only help yourself but you help everyone in the KarmaCoin community... now that's what I call KARMA I am mining now a coin which still is not in exchange. But tonight I'll convert my Blackcoins to Karmacoins definitely. Be it for 4 satoshi... noticing whenever someone sells coins at 3, I see coins added the sell at 4. just people looking for a quick 25%. wall will evaporate as soon as the next push happens. +1111 Until the mining slows that is going to continue. guys what are you thoughts on leaving funds in mintpal, do you trust them not to go down any time soon? have they secured the server in a way to prevent the issues we have seen with other markets recently?
reason i ask is i am back at work next week, so if i see a good price come up that i want to sell my coins at i will be able to process that from my phone on the move, but i obviously need to be able to store my karm and then my BTC in mintpal and trust that they wont have issues..
I don't like to keep my coins on the exchanges cause you never know what can happen. |

its fine though. soon this coin will be too hard to mine. this mysterious miner will go and mine an other coin. clearly he is not mining to hold because he believes in this coin. once he leaves. we will see those walls crumble. begging to buy karma cheap again. they will start outbidding each other as they will regreat not buying it at 4 , 5 or 6.

Yep this coin is going places for sure, only holding 1 million here but would love to see it hit 44-55 sat. Shows how cheap it is now 33 million coins for 1 BTC is great looks like you will see 14.5-18.1 BTC back. Just imagine if we hit DOGE prices you 1 BTC will be 66 BTC then. That get you excited enough lol i'm at 100M and would love for 50 sat, but think $1 US would be better  |

Do you believe that Karmacoin will go somewhere? The market stale at roughly 4 sats. I'm loosing my faith. But I see a lot activities and smth unexplainable pleasant in this coin. It is more than traders instrument, it should be good things doing instrument.
It will get there, just have to keep buying from the dumpers. The coins are being distributed fairly quickly so this time of deflation won't last forever. I think we are at 1/3 or so of all coins being mined already, guess within the year will be complete. Anyone have a solid prediction of the 75B coin being mined? |

Because what I understood is that you can forge NXT, doing this, you will earn more NXT, but if there are only 1 billion nxt and no more and all of this are already distributed, this means with forging, there will become more NXT, right? Not quite. When you send Nxt to someone, or create an alias, or an arbitrary message, or issue an asset exchange transaction, you must pay a FEE (currently 1Nxt). Those fees are collected when transactions are put into blocks, and all the fees from a block are given to the account that forges the block. New tokens are NOT created -- they are "redistributed" from fees. Bitcoin actually does the same thing: there are small fees for all transactions. Once 2140 arrives and no new Bitcoins are being mined, the only way to "earn" Bitcoins from mining will be from collecting fees. Think it's 2040 |

Ok, not to sound annoying, but today I had a friend over, and I showed her a post that had the signature "New Economy Movement." I told her to find out what that the signiture was referring to. She couldn't. Not with Google, not with anything.
I then told her to find out about Nem. And she couldn't She was even smart enough to search for the terms, "Nem economy," "Nem economy movement," Nem new economy movement." And nothing. And the only reason she thought of doing that was because she already heard the phrase "New Economy Movement."
I think that's a legitimate problem. If it's not going to be Nem Coin, we need to add something to it to make it a unique enough of a search term.
Maybe with should go about this the same way we're doing with the logos. With suggestions of something that can enhance the name Nem that makes it a searchable term on the internet. And perhaps something that also sounds good in Chinese, Japanese, German.
The term will be associated with NEM in due course, don't worry.  The Secret of NEM? |
