581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Cryptocurrency's killer app: disrupting web ads via RaiBlocks micropayments on: March 12, 2017, 12:19:05 AM
I think new version after 7.8.2 should resolve sync issues. But for now
Blockchain for Win64 wallet (only)

Save Seed!
Advanced --> Accounts --> Backup/clipboard wallet Seed
Then paste with Ctrl+V in Notepad and save in safe place
64 digits and letters
Check twice! Seed is required to restore your accounts

Close wallet
Download and extract 3 files from archive to %LOCALAPPDATA%\RaiBlocks with replacement
https://yadi.sk/d/NYMKTINO3FWu4o

After replacement start wallet again
Advanced --> Accounts --> Import wallet
1st field: paste Seed you saved in file before
2nd field: type 2 words
clear keys
And press Import Seed
Then check if your wallet is restored. If you had more than 1 account, press Advanced --> Accounts --> Create account

The seed is the number you see in the config file hey ?

583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: February 26, 2017, 09:34:23 PM
I would say just give up, and create an environment that you don't visit those sites anymore. Install software on your pc that does that. I used to have a serious gambling problems a few months back. Still do, but I have taken steps like never having too much btc on me which doesn't let me give in to the urge of gambling.

In addition to that change the lifestyle that you always do everyday, Its a big help for sure if we do it little by little. Before when I was starting to play in the gambling site it was really fun in the beginning  only, but once addiction for real being applied it would be a serious problem. Change the habit, one by one its the first step for now.

I think it is better to take up a Bobbie where odds are involved so it is not gambling with money bit for fun. Some sort of game or even poker with friends without using money. Maybe say the losers pay for the pizza that night or something like that. Small little goals to work towards the bigger goal.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling : Your new strategy will work. But every day you need a new one. on: February 26, 2017, 09:30:28 PM
I am not searching for a shortcut, but trying to figure out where I am lagging.
But I am afraid I may end up wasting half of my life in finding out a perfect strategy.

Probably no or random strategy is the right approach ? or just searching for a new strategy is the real fun in gambling ?

There is no strategy you just play and pray. ^^ You will always be searching for a "strategy" and it will always make you end up losing. Just put some money in and try your luck. Thst is all it is. Luck and a little money management too. xD
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my gambling gains (Bustabit) on: February 26, 2017, 09:27:09 PM
Using bustabit.com the past week, these are the two sessions i had of gambling :

First one, Started with 17$ as a joke. Quickly turned into 50$ then into 340$ I decided to withdraw.
https://i.imgur.com/boiWAV4.png

Second time, Earlier today. Started with 500$, Turned into 650$ then decided to keep going. Withdrew at 1M Bits (Worth 1 BTC)
https://i.imgur.com/Qib2rUd.png

Method I use is really fucking simple, but it works so good.

Second time method, I Put 500$ at and went out at 1.1x, Made 50$
Played with that 50$ All in, 1.1 Each time. Waited for "right moment" and soon that 50$ turned into a second 500$, totaling to 1 BTC

P.S Here's my chart for more proof : https://www.bustabit.com/user/cordyt

That sounds great and all but when you went with the $500 and bust right away ? Or under 10% ? You would have lost everything and you would habe lost it just to make 10% .

You are just very very lucky. Now quit when you ahead. Smiley

Btw this is good advertising for bustabit and you habe a newbie account. Just saying.
586  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ 🎲 🐉 BTCDragon Casino Expansion STARTED!! 🐉 🎲 ⚡ on: February 26, 2017, 09:18:12 PM
Love the site, awesome that i can use BURST here!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I agree with that. But why only BURST? Why not to add ltc, monero, doge? These are more popular and are quite trusted nowadays. And with a 4-faucet system already being implemented in the site it wouldn't be hard to do that, For example, it could be made that one is able to recieve btc every hour, ltc every half an hour and so on. This could  help the casino becoming more popular and alts more used. By the way, is it possible to invest in this casino?
I can understand that BURST has become the official coin for the casino but it would be awesome to have more options by adding more coins as people are looking for more options when it comes to alt coin gambling and we have some pretty niche sites which accepts particular alt coins. In my opinion adding high volume alt will be a added bonus for the site as it will attract alt coin traders and miners who does want to gamble every now and then.

Its great that they have burst coin usage here. Gives more options like you say. I just hope altcoin casinoes can help drive the price up of the altcoins they support. Its good when they use lesser know coins instead of the regulars like doge and menero and whatever else.
587  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDice.pw - Claim your faucet 0.00000150BTC every 150s on: February 26, 2017, 09:12:46 PM
Nice site you have there. Have you ran any campaigns to get that level of activity ?
Sites very fair with its faucet. 150 every 150 seconds so 1 per second Probably higher then many casinos so long as it doesnt have captchas then its not as good but still good.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Have A Bitcoin City! Soon We Will Have Bitcoin Country! on: February 26, 2017, 08:44:43 PM
Wow !! That is so cool. Sophisticated like the Netherlands will do well with bitcoin and be more open since they educated. That's great that there is a bitcoin town. I can't wait till it spreads and becomes the norm. Smiley
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not use USB sticks for long term storage! Its not safe! on: February 26, 2017, 08:39:48 PM
Yes it's true. I knew someone and told them to keep proper back ups but he wouldn't listen and walked around using his USB stock from work to home. I kept saying you can lose it etc etc but no he knows best. Well anyway. One day he went to his pc and put the USB stick in and guess what ? It said it needed to be format because it was corrupt.

Always back up !!! Click save and save again when you work. With your bitcoin keep not one not two but as many backs ups as you can. Always back up !!
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Food industry and cryptocurrency on: February 26, 2017, 07:42:51 PM
Its a very good idea to habe a coin hacked by an actual farm. Investing in a farm sounds good to me. People always need to eat and so the demand is endless. If you can supply fast enough you stand to make a great deal plus even more when the value of the currency increases in the exchange. It will be a good way to create more jobs for other people to also work on the farm and be paid in the currency which counts as an investment too if they do not sell right away. If they do want to sell right away I would suggest you pay them bitcoins instead and leave the coons for those who want to make an investment. The best part is the minimum invest!end amount doesnt exist and can be $0.01 if you like.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The BitCoin Cause on: February 26, 2017, 07:39:18 PM
So I saw many threads on will bitcoin be used by common people or when it will be used by all over the world and for buying groceries etc.
But I wonder, was bitcoin actually meant to be used like that? What was the actual cause for creating bitcoin? And for whom it was meant to be?
Any facts or thoughts?

Being a full member you should actually know this by now. But since you just ask...
Bitcoin was created to be decentralized and not having to rely on anything or anyone on a trustless network. Noone owns it. Noone owns your wallet it's fully in your control unlike a bank where your money is in there accounts and they use it to make a crap ton with investments.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Ways To Earn Bitcoin on: February 26, 2017, 07:36:23 PM
There is also affiliate marketing and selling. You can open up a digital website and sell all sorts of things, build up a rep and you get a certain % on everything you own. Best off all you dont need stock since it connects directly to another site. After while you could upgrade and buy your own stock and take the full profits. There so many ways. You just have to think.

Can you bro add "signature campaign" . because its also way to earn or making bitcoin. By doing posting you can earn bitcoin according to your rank. I don't like HYIP its not help to earn bitcoin why? Because all of them are scam after reach their goal it will stop paying and launch another HYIP . Trading is the best for me buy low price and then sell it when the price is increase . I also like ICO after ICO I can make profit from it but you need to vigilant before investing because many ICO there are scam invest only to the coin have escrow for the safety.

If you read, a few lines up he answers regarding this.

593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can i make Bitcoin/money from a third world country on: February 26, 2017, 07:31:25 PM

You need to find something you are good at and monotonized that. There is a whole altcoin market you can work fpr the Devs doing promotions. Dont wait fpr them to male a campiagn ask them yourself. Sieze the initiative and take any opportunity you can get. Look through the forum for ideas.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many TH/s is currently needed to competently compete for each block... on: February 26, 2017, 07:13:37 PM
Wow a st member asking this. I dont even know what to say. Did you go to school ?
Obviously you get your % chance of solving a block by comparing your hashrate to the hashrate of the entire network. Remember when you had cookies at school and had to device them ? Yes that's call arithmetic.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have Banks conspired to Kill Bitcoin Startups? on: February 26, 2017, 07:10:06 PM
I'm not sure. If there was they wouldn't tell us and keep it a secret. I would not be surprised of they were conspiring against us though. So they could already be. Bitcoin is a threat to them and bitcoin is better then the banks and they know this and fear this. Maybe they the ones trying to give bitcoin bad publicity.
596  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: February 26, 2017, 06:58:03 PM
I know it is a tricky question. What do you think, how many Bitcoins are lost forever and are 'out of the network' by lost private keys?

Good question. One I have pondered often myself. I think logically most bitcoins were lost when it was still a very fresh idea and people were mining whole bitcoins with a single so please pc setup. Because people never knew their value back then they were careless and didn't think it was a problem. Years later it is abundantly clear that this is a huge problem since the bitcoin system was no longer just some cool new technology but actually took off and flew like a rocket to over $1000 big ouch of you lost coins.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Love Fast BTC today! on: February 26, 2017, 06:53:57 PM
I am wondering about something. What if you make your bitcoin transaction fee really high. Like say you transfer 50btc and pay 0.02 bitcoin or more. How fast would that go ? I wonder what the fastest time is. Lately the chain has been slowish but I'm not worried it still works just fine and transaction go through eventually. Its just of you need the btc right then and there you must put the correct amount of fee or you will have to wait and sometimes that is not an option unfortunately.

Did you conduct a research to find the answers of those questions?
With a proper research you can find  this information without asking the forum members.
Back in 2013 ,when btc price reached $1200, a guy lost his PC with a wallet containing bitcoins worth 6 million USD.I forgot his name, unfortunately.

He is doing research now, by asking the questions on this forum.  Roll Eyes ....James Howells famously lost 7,500 Bitcoins in 2013 when he accidentally

threw out an old hard disk containing his private key. It is reportedly under thousands of tonnes of landfill at a waste recycling centre in

Pillgwenlly, Newport.  Roll Eyes

This is an interesting topic I'm glad ot is brought up. I hope people find the answers soon. I am interested in the highest tx fee.

I think I would not want to live if I lost 6 million $$ that is just wow. Too much to handle.
You will regret it forever and always look at people in nice cars and know that it could have been you in the latest BMW sports model racing around the track. Now you sit in your old car with nothing but a memory. That's horrible shame I feel so bad for those poor fellows.
599  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 26, 2017, 06:47:53 PM
It is very irritating when someone says you can earn "free" bitcoin. It is very misleading because if you have to earn something then it is not free now is it ?

I am just a newbie and I am trying to earn some, is this site legit?

You can get some btc from bitcointalk by participating signature campagin. But your account need to be mature. The more rank you get, the more BTC you can get.
But you need to note that this forum is not giving "free" bitcoins in the name of signature campaign. It is a reward for your hard work. You need to check games and round section for exact free bitcoins. But there also now people ask for some qualifying tasks. Unlike early days, free bitcoins are not now possible in bitcointalk.
Basically signature campaign is promoting their sites through hiring your signature and they are paying you for that. they pay you according to you rank. If you are rank is high so their payment for your signature is comparatively high as compare to the low ranks and that is also the reward of your work that you do in the form of posting about a topic.

Yes and earning from signature campaign is the most common and popular way of earning bitcoins and its also safe as you don't have to invest any money into it and there is also no risk of loosing anything so I think its the best way to earn bitcoins.

Ahh the best way to earn bitcoin !? I think not ! Running your own business is the best way to make bitcoin. Working for yourself is always the best way to make money and it is satisfying. Also not everyone who used bitcoin is here on this forum. Do you think this forum is the be all and end all ? Bitcoin is just a currency.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: February 26, 2017, 06:16:59 PM
The most danger you are in is losing access to your wallet. That would just suck.
I can't really think k of anything else because there just isn't anything else. I mean what is bad about it ? Nothing that's what.
