581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: May 16, 2015, 06:10:43 AM
I haven't invested anywhere the amount that I would be considered the "wealthy elite".  A guy can still dream I guess.   Cry  Maybe quite a few on this forum have enough BTC where this would be true.

I think the idea is that you can invest a modest amount of BTC, wait a while for the world to realize the benefits of the technology, and then become part of the wealthy elite since the value of your stash of coins would have grown by then. It worked for the first generation of Bitcoiners, and it could work for us.

Say if someone had invested just $3,000 into BTC in October 2011 when they were going for $3 per coin. $3,000 isn't enough for someone to be considered part of the wealthy elite. But if they held onto their coins and sold when they were worth $1,000 each, he would have $1 million and therefore become part of the new wealthy elite. Grin

However nice that sounds, it is like a fairytale or a dream. What I mean is back then when you spent 3k on 1000 bitcoin that is what you got '1000' bitcoin, try that today and you get around 13, for that to make the same million you need the price to go to about $80,000 per coin. The boat has sailed a long time ago and unfortunately we missed that boat and we will not be wealthy elite or even close on our 10btc-50btc. Of course I want it to happen but it won't. Just invest whatever you want as a hobbie not to make money and then it is stress free and if a miracle does happen you earned a few bob.
582  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [E-BOOK] TAKE DOWN SERVER INSTANTLY [Noob Friendly] [$9.99] [Auto Buy] [BTC] on: May 16, 2015, 05:58:09 AM
Can you answer me a few things please mate, you say it is not for illegal purposes but is taking down someones server/IP not illegal?

Also you say that newbies can make it profitable  Huh How exactly can they do this legally?

If someone was not going to involve themselves in illegal activity what would this be used for?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.
583  Economy / Gambling / Re: AllinCrypto.com - Premier Crypto Poker - 23 Crypto's Accepted - Bonus on: May 13, 2015, 10:14:03 PM
@ AllInCrypto

I am sure that there is someone here on the forum that would be willing to take a chance on it, I would if my real life family commitments would allow it but being a new daddy, means no disposable income and lack of free time to do what is needed which is a blessing but not for making a success of much else at this time lol

I am thinking would 4-5btc be enough to advertise well enough umm not sure.. I see your signature campaign recently did that not bring much traffic? Surprising if no because there are campaigns that have gone on for months can't see that happening if they was not working.

I really like the clean feel of your site and the name is a gooden  Wink It is secure, and a trusted place to play. I can't see people needing much more once it gets of the ground. Is it possible to make interface changes? There is a few bits I would change in future if you can but not much.

Take care and keep faith.
584  Economy / Gambling / Re: Real Madrid VS Juventus Your Views ? on: May 13, 2015, 08:58:36 PM
DirectBet offers LIVE In-Play betting on Real Madrid v Juventus !

You can bet now LIVE ! Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

All the Best,

Michelle

www.DirectBet.eu
The match will end at draw. There are good odds for draw 3.66.We are going to see very different result sooner as I predicted ,no winner.

Did you have a nice bet on a draw? Good prediction mate I had a bet down for over 2.5 goals on one site and Real Madrid to win on another, double loser lol All good when you only bet what you can afford to lose.

Like i said in my thread,Juventus will qualify for the final and they did Smiley

told you guys!!

Not everyone goes to your thread to see your predictions do they. To be fair the 'told you guys' is a bit much you only have 2 teams to choose from and one of them was going to qualify for the final wasn't they.

Now if you said Juventus will qualify after a 1-1 draw and told us the first goal scorer then that would have been something to write home about.

Well done on your win though!
585  Economy / Gambling / Re: AllinCrypto.com - Premier Crypto Poker - 23 Crypto's Accepted - Bonus on: May 13, 2015, 07:12:49 PM
I just checked that site 2 days ago, and withdrew my 0.006 btc from there, the withdrawal was successful, and I saw the admin wanna sell this site for only 0.1 btc? Hmm, I think admin you invested more than 1btc on this site, including freerolls and the site script.

I think he gave up because he won't hold that 2btc freeroll and he thought this site is a bad business and investment, I am sorry for your losses admin, not only money, but also energy and hope. Sad

You have confused me no end, where exactly have you found that he is selling the site for 0.1btc lol! Yes anyone who knows anything about bitcoin would know he spent more than 1btc, upwards of 10 most probably. Here is one of his sales thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1037559.msg11191712#msg11191712 and here is the other https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1036551.msg11180014#msg11180014 as you can see neither are anywhere near what you said, where did you get that amount, guess?

haha, it's my fault, I saw it in the bottom of the site, it's ". 10btc" I misunderstood his format, I thought it's ".10btc", so 0.1btc is equal to 0.1btc in math.

10btc is absurd, I think this kind of script costs 0.5-1 btc, many other sites(bitcoinpoker.gg, satoshicarclub.com, cryptopoker.eu) use the same script, so there is nothing unique of this site. Plus the giveaway, this site is worth 1-2btc, because no traffic there. 10BTC is insane. If admin doesn't have faith so this site, how can this site be worth 10btc?

Thank you for your comment filled with completely non-factual information.   No, they do not use the same script as us.  It was custom written by a team we hired.   It has quite a few features that I imagine the other scripts don't.    So maybe, before you make a comment, please read what is included with the sale, because it is a custom script.   The license for poker mavens costs $500 alone(the poker part of the site).  Not to mention the fact that it doesn't accept a payment gateway so bitcoin needs to be integrated as well with a custom script that required hiring a programmer for quite a few hours.  So, please, before you comment with crap just to get paid for your sig campaign, read a little bit and do some research.

By the looks of it if you was saying that the 2btc freeroll was on then this would be the best site that person had played on are my thoughts, people who play freerolls only don't really have much of a clue 7/10 , You will get your 8btc price in the end but it is a shame you have to go Sad

Has something in real life came up for this decision or it was just not going where you thought it would? Poker sites in general are black holes for personal funds and if you are short then you are doing the right thing, it will take so much more promotions and marketing to have a chance and the thing is it will take years to get that back if ever most the time.

Many poker sites admin do it because they love poker as I am sure you do and they have a disposable income ready to throw at it like you would with a hobbie. Good luck on your sale and your journey!

It is honestly a mixture of poor timing and advertising funds.   A ton of new sites came out all around the same time so the market was flooded.   We didn't count on spending as much on advertising as we did.  We spent several thousand on ads alone.  We love poker and we love having our own poker site, however, it would be better off in that hands of someone who has the funds to advertise and market it the way that needs to be marketed.  We spent a lot of money having the script done in the correct, secure way.  I was not once worried about funds in the hot wallet.  I am proud of the site and the script, but it was just not financially viable for us to keep taking loans as we all have quite a lot of personal responsibilities at this time.

Sounds like you just needed a marketing partner and to come to an arrangement. Yes as I said the black hole example I can imagine how much you have spent on advertising Sad You are right as well I think I counted 4 sites around the same 2 weeks as your release which is bad timing indeed.

I feel for you mate it must be hard to walk away, have you thought about starting a thread somewhere on the forum asking for a possible partner to the site? There are people out there that also love poker and I am sure must be one or two on this forum it is just finding them before a sale goes threw.
586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: May 13, 2015, 07:03:49 PM

No that is a valid question actually imo, it has as much chance at going to $1 as it does $10,000 in fact it probably has more chance because let's not forget it has already been at $1 where it has not been anywhere near $10k you see? It has however been to $1200 briefly but what does the graphs say since then?

Uh, that's just really bad logic. Look, if I was driving from San Francisco southward to Los Angeles, do you think I have a higher chance ending up in San Francisco since I've already been at San Fran, but not anywhere near LA yet?

Horrible logic.

That said, I do agree, there's probably a slightly higher chance of reaching... Let's say single digits versus five digits in 2015. Neither is very likely. But say in 10 years, I think the chances of bitcoin reaching either single digits (or lower) or five digits (or higher) is almost 100%. The chances of bitcoin staying in the hundreds is probably as low as bitcoin reaching $10k this year.

Mine was on topic and has perfect logic, we have reached $1000 where have we gone since then? That is right we are on a slippery slope down down down. Why not $1 because you would lose your hopeful future $20k if it reached the 10k which it won't because we are going down baby be happy not sad  Grin

in fact it probably has more chance because let's not forget it has already been at $1

Put things in perspective. When that happened bitcoin was only a forum currency for a few nerds.
Now you got hundreds of thousands of stores accepting it, many hundred exchanges, more then 1 thousand ATMs, and many more goods & services.

It has an infrastructure backing it (its always funny when idiots say that BTC is not backed by anything, its backed by its economy).
There is already a mini-subeconomy for bitcoin, and its growing, every single day. To the point that 1 day it will replace the main economy.

So your point is not put in perspective.

Please don't just snip one half a sentence for your argument, maybe you put things in perspective (without red writing lol) So we have all this backing and have done for quite some time, why are we not back to the $700 plus area  Cheesy Why are we still dropping with 'all this backing'?

That is perspective isn't it.

Update... I am not going to continue with this here but am more than happy to speak threw pm with greensox, but the other is ignored.
587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: May 13, 2015, 06:49:41 PM
u guys keep thinkign it goes up ? What if it goes below 1$ ?  Cheesy

and why the reason for that? random guessing? or blatant trolling? i see no reason to even go sub 200 let alone below 10...

a price like that would be a catastrophe for miners, they will start buying to protect their investment

No that is a valid question actually imo, it has as much chance at going to $1 as it does $10,000 in fact it probably has more chance because let's not forget it has already been at $1 where it has not been anywhere near $10k you see? It has however been to $1200 briefly but what does the graphs say since then?

It does not matter what you see reason for you are not the market.

It would be bad for miners but there would be a difficulty decrease and I would actually be loving the drop to these lows because unlike trading $200-$300 and making a little I can be trading from $1-$8-9-10 it would be a lovely day not a catastrophe only for those that hold and do nothing would it be.

@ OP no in case you can't take from that post I do not believe for one second that it will go anywhere near not even $1000 you gotta love dreamers though.

589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you do to Earn your coins on: May 13, 2015, 11:23:58 AM
I started out using a faucet and glad I did even though I earned about 20cents in a few weeks lol I got the hang of the wallets and got a better understanding of the tech. Then I invested some fiat around £280 nearly a btc  Cheesy

I brought product online and sold it in my home town and re deposited but ended up with more btc I then invested in a couple of altcoins and started trading and I have not looked back, I am freerolling my original investment has been spent on goods but I still have more than I started with plus get paid a little for my signature campaign.

There is always money/funds/btc to be made just need to find what works for you.
590  Economy / Gambling / Re: Real Madrid VS Juventus Your Views ? on: May 13, 2015, 11:02:25 AM
Can Juventus hold back the might of the mighty Madrid? I really am not sure they managed it once but not sure they will do it tonight at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium where they will mean business, well I hope they can't hold them back because my money is down on Real lol @1.5 might be worth putting something down on Juventus though because they have very nice odds!
yep many suggest real madrid to be the winners here lol Cheesy but dont underesitmate Juventus as a repeat of yesterday where bayenr beat Barca might happen many were confident in Barca but the fact Bayern won with injured players was pretty much a surprise lol Cheesy

Need to remember though that Barca was already going threw and Bayern Munich are the dogs go nads, I was hoping they was going to go threw but wasn't to be on the day unfortunately.

Either way though it will a quality finale whatever team ends up facing barca. Yeh people would not go far wrong to put some funds on Juventus as they are far from bad and have shown once they can do it on their home turf.

Gas station/ mini Mart food is very unhealthy.
True but food stamps come on a debit card these days and no longer the paper, embarrassing food stamps like they were when I worked the register over ten years ago. And, you can buy whatever you want at the supermarket including alcohol, tobacco and all the carb foods you can imagine. You can also use them at casinos and strip joints just to complete the picture. In full, those at the lower end of the spectrum, both financially and intelligently, tend to purchase garbage foods w/ free money that is rebooted every month ad infinitum. Nothing else going on in your life or you're on alleged hard times, comfort food is at your finger tips.

Here in the UK for me that sounds crazy!

Food stamps now on a debit card that is good but then you get to being able to buy, alcohol, tobacco, using them in the strip clubs and casino's are you for real? Never heard anything as fkd up as that before. Unbelievable no wonder the obesity rate is threw the roof!  Grin

These same people who are getting guided to destroying their bodies don't have healthcare or very standard at best, seems like a set up to me to get rid of the poor sooner but that is another thread and discussion.

Thanks for sharing OP I am going to look into this crazy business

You'll be an escrow and signature campaign manager?

correct, the funds for first week of campaign are already in my possession. there will be probably announcement tomorrow or later this evening.

*canceled due to community response

Good to see you never got yourself mingled/mixed up with this it would have been a shame to have a upstanding decent member of the community like yourself get brought down because people were not happy with profitbit.me.

I know you wanted to manage a campaign as well you have made the right choice if I hear of anything I will be sure to let you know Wink

Hello btc users! Just interested - how do you spend your BTC bitcoins?
Buy something, trading, maybe just collect and waiting for good price? Smiley

Hello Bitcoin Mixer!

I very rarely spend my bitcoin on goods that I need because I only live minutes away from the city center and that has everything I need. I do trade though and invest what I can afford into a few alt coins that have promise, not hype.

I trade a small amount btc/usd and have managed to build my holdings up roughly 20% this year which is not a lot but it is profit and I am still learning. I will not just wait for a good price we need to do something ourselves.

If she came on to you then no that was not rape, if she never came on to you and you imagined it because of the drugs then yes it was but if you have been together for over a year, I don't see nothing coming of it except she might not see you the same as before depending if she gets strange flash backs etc. That is a weird story and the fact that she said you raped her does not sound good maan, is she being weird when she says it, different to usual? If yes then it needs to be sorted asap

These radicals are gonna have a big surprise awaiting them upon their deaths. No 79 virgins but eternal brimstone and damnation.

Maybe these imaginary beliefs are the reason no one is doing anything about it.  People falsely believe they will be taken care of in an imaginary afterlife?

Crazy to think there maybe an after life hey? Just like it is crazy to think we have life in the first place. No proof there is or isn't so I will go with we have life to begin, who is to say that there is no afterlife. These assholes will have to face what they do in this life or next but to be fair I don't believe everything the mighty UN tell the world. Do some research into the UN and my bet is you guys wouldn't either.
